Chapter 4 Silent predators
It's been a month since the whole incident revolving around the unknown technology that was recently being studied by the Republic's top scientists in both galaxies.
So far nothing about them was known by anyone from this galaxy.
Not even the Lanterns knew anything about them and they knew a lot.
As for the San'Shyuum's they on the other hand feigned ignorance about what happened saying it was the acts of those who didn't agree with the peace treaty.
But they knew the truth since the Jedi order could easily tell they were lying having gotten much better at that than ever in the last five years.
But without solid evidence they did nothing but keep a closer eye on them knowing they would pull something.
As for Sean he on the other hand created a two way galactic company known as Legacy tech using the technology they had recovered which was making a huge difference.
Right now though
Sean smiled seeing the small town they were in.
"You know I always liked towns like this when I was a little kid." Lois said in a new outfit. (Look up Lois Bad girl on my DA account Dragonlord012)
"Oh yeah?" Sean asked.
"Nice and quiet. Fresh air." Lois said before explosions went off making her eyes twitch. "The only thing they didn't do was that." Lois growled out making him chuckle.
"Yeah. Thats the sound of times changing. They're building new homes here that my company is building with another company." Sean said.
"Sean, theres such a thing as too much change." Lois said making him chuckle before they walked away.
Arriving at a gathering he smirked seeing it had turned out nicely.
"Ah, there you are." Sifo-Dyas said approaching him.
"Nice of you to join us." Sean said.
"A rather interesting turn out." Qui-Gon said approaching them.
"Yeah well, my business partner wants to look good." Sean said.
"Speaking of whom."
Sean turned seeing Max Fairington.
"Max." Sean said shaking his hand.
"Good to see you Sean." Max said.
Soon enough Max was giving a speech about the development when Sean felt someone behind him pressing something against his head.
"Don't even think it Hobbs." Sean said turning seeing a large man who smirked.
"Every time. I'll never understand how you Jedi do that." Hobbs said.
This was Luke Hobbs a member of the DSS and a high ranking officer of the Republic security Bureau that was established immediately after the Naboo incident.
"What are you doing here?" Sean asked.
"Ah, A friend of mine lives here and wanted me to come down." Hobbs said.
Thats when they heard a girl scream making them rush off.
Rushing into the woods they found a girl over a boy.
"What happened?" Sean asked.
"A snake bit him!"
Sean looked seeing a bite mark before checking his pulse and frowned.
"He's gone." Sean said making her sob as Hobbs checked him over.
"She only screamed a minute ago. I've never heard of a snake bite going that quick to kill." Hobbs said.
"Hmm." Sean said as he picked him up.
Later
"I managed to get the blood work in from the body. Something isn't adding up." Sean said.
"What is it?" Mace asked.
"This venom...It killed him almost instantly. But there are no snakes out here that are that deadly. Not even close." Sean said.
"Could someone have released a deadly snake here and this is the result?" Qui-Gon asked.
"Maybe. It's happened before. I remember once when the galaxies were separate that some dumb kid flushed a croc down the toilet in Gotham and it grew and became so big it almost killed some kids who were exploring. Batman sedated it and had it moved to the zoo." Sean said.
"Who's stupid enough to buy a pet croc?" Iden asked.
"Have you seen Turok's collection of animals?" Sean asked.
"Hey." Turok said walking in.
He was ten years old with tan skin brown hair and blue eyes.
"Ok so lets say that some idiot released a Deadly snake...How do we find it?" Hobbs asked.
"The old fashioned way." Turok said leaving making Sean snort.
"I'll go with him." Iden said.
Later
Sean was arriving at the construction site since there was a disturbance.
"Max." Sean said getting his attention. "The hell happened?" Sean asked.
"Um...There was a small incident. A girl was almost attacked by a snake but her dog stopped and killed it." Max said.
"Where is it?" Sean asked.
"It's in that bag. Why?" Max asked as he grabbed it.
"Well, the kid who died yesterday? The venom showed it killed him instantly and theres no snakes out here thats that deadly." Sean said.
"What are you thinking?" Max asked.
"Some idiot might have released one out here and that was the result. If this is the same snake it'll be a sigh of relief." Sean said before one of the workers came out.
"Theres a whole den in that house."
Sean frowned looking at Max.
"Ok. I wanted to make sure there wasn't anymore. Clearly we do." Max said as Sean went and took a look seeing at least a dozen.
"What the fuck?" Sean asked before using the force to bring them out placing them in a container that was around.
Meanwhile
Turok was out in the field with Iden and Hask with protective boots on.
"This is a little extreme, don't you think?" Hask asked.
"Better to be safe than sorry." Iden said.
"If theres one thing I know about animals. Is that when threatened they attack first ask questions later." Turok said before hearing rattling sounds.
"Oh crap." Iden said seeing one coming to them before Turok placed his foot on the neck making it hiss before placing it in a bucket.
"Hopefully this Is the one we're looking for." Hask said before getting a call making him pull out a holodisk as Sean appeared.
"Guys...We might have a problem." Sean said.
"We think we got the snake. Damn thing tried to attack us." Iden said.
"And I'm looking at dozens in the development area under a house that wasn't finished." Sean said.
"Wait what?" Hask asked.
"I thought we were dealing with just one." Iden said.
"So did I. Star Labs is in the area for a science project. Maybe they can help us out." Sean said.
Later
"Sean." Barry Allen said.
"Hey Barry. We might have a situation." Sean said placing the snakes in one cage as they hissed loudly making Caitlin scream.
"Oh god...I hate snakes." Caitlin shuddered making them chuckle.
"For a girl who's seen a lot of metahumans you sure are scared of the normal." Iden siad.
"Bad experience as a kid." Caitlin said.
"So, what seems to be the problem?" Wells asked.
"That is what we're gonna find out. You know about the death of the boy yesterday. And now we've found dozens of snakes who are highly aggressive." Sean said.
"But this place doesn't have any aggressive snakes." Barry said.
"Exactly. Thats what concerns me. Max tried to brush it off thinking it was just an isolated incident. But if theres one thing I know. Always cover everything." Sean said.
"Interesting. I'll need a sample of the venom." Wells said.
"Coming up." Turok said grabbing one quick taking it out before grabbing a jar to get some venom before placing it back in.
"This is unusual." Caitlin said examining the venom.
"The amount and color are a kinda off." Sean said.
"Yeah. I'll need to examine them all. Turok can you help out?" Caitlin asked.
"Sure." Turok said grabbing another doing the same thing getting the same results as before.
Doing this with all of them the results were all the same.
"Ok...If it was just one or two I would think this is over...But all of them?" Hask asked skeptical.
"Something is up." Turok said.
"Hmm. You know hang on a second." Barry said going to the computer.
"Something you wanna add?" Del asked.
"I remember there was some incident in this area...20 years ago." Barry said.
"What incident?" Sean asked.
"The zoo in the area had acquired an unusually aggressive tropical rattle snake. They were sending it to a lab for further study...But there was an accident. The Truck driver and another person were killed...By the snake and it never was seen again." Barry said. (By the way the Actor of the truck driver just happens to be Heatwave's actor from Flash and Legends of Tomorrow)
"But how does that relate to this?" Iden asked.
"It's possible that it may have mated with western diamondbacks and those traits were passed down." Wells said.
"Wait a second. We're talking about different species. Isn't that far fetched?" Hask asked.
"Not entirely." Turok said getting their attention. "It's rare...But it has been known to happen. I mean wolves and dogs can breed together. Artificial conditions can help but it has happened before." Turok said.
"So...For the last 20 years that snake has been breeding with other snakes here...And this is the result." Sean said looking at the hybrid snakes.
"So it would seem." Wells said.
"But I don't understand though. If thats true why are we only seeing them now?" Del asked.
"Yeah...You would think there'd be some strange deaths in the last 2 decades." Hask said.
"Unless someone has been messing with them." Barry said.
"Oh no." Sean said in alarm.
"What is it?" Wells asked.
"The housing development. Max is using explosives on the land. It must be confusing them and disorienting them." Sean said.
"That would explain the sudden attack. The housing must be on land their used to hunting food." Turok said.
Later
"And your sure these snakes are in the area." Mayor Parker asked as he handed Sean and Hobbs a drink.
"Yeah. It's not a coincidence these things show up right when the construction began." Hobbs said.
"Look I've lived in this town since I was 5. And Never have I heard of Snakes causing a problem here. Why now?" Parker asked.
"Because the construction site is near a den and on a place they're used to hunting food. Now...I know the last thing we need to do is set off a panic and cause worse problems. However the last thing we all want is for people to not know the dangers of whats going on." Sean said.
"I don't want that either. But what do you wanna do?" Parker asked.
"I have to suspend the construction." Sean said.
"Now hold on. He's got deadlines." Parker said.
"Which won't mean a damn thing if his new development ends up having half the buyers dead because he doesn't see the problem." Hobbs said making him sigh.
"Ok...I'll talk to him."
Later
Sean was in his home with Lois asleep next to him making him smile.
Only to hear explosions making him widen his eyes.
"Oh fuck." Sean said quickly getting up.
Rushing to Max's office he saw him arguing with Hobbs.
"What is going on? I thought you were ordered to stop?" Sean asked.
"We talked and he agreed that the development will continue." Max said.
"Goddamnit Max. One kid has already died and another was almost attacked yesterday. And a whole swarm was under that one house." Sean said.
"We had a problem and it was handled." Max said.
"What do you think is gonna happen when you finish? Hmm? That this problem will just go away?" Hobbs asked.
"Of course it will. You guys are overreacting. It was just a small amount of snakes." Max said.
"Wrong. The venom we tested showed how deadly they were. One bite is enough to kill in a minute." Sean said making him frown.
"Look I can't just stop production. We're already behind as it is." Max said.
"So you care more about getting this done than peoples lives?" Sean asked.
"That's not fair. If I don't get this done on time the investors will pull out." Max said.
"So you won't stop?" Hobbs asked.
"No." Max said.
"Fine...Then we will." Hobbs said leaving.
Hobbs went outside before closing the explosives container.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"By order of the RSB all explosives are hereby suspended until further noticed." Hobbs said walking away as Max walked out.
"Your really gonna play hardball huh?" Max asked.
"At least I care." Hobbs said making him frown.
Later
Another victim had been killed and attacked which forced the RSB to mobilize.
"This is ridiculous. How can the mayor not see the seriousness of this situation?" Dig asked as Team arrow arrived to help out.
"To be fair. This town has never had a serious problem before." Dinah said. (JLU version)
"Doesn't matter." Oliver said as they got in Sean's home seeing him with others.
"Good your here." Sean said.
"So whats the situation?" Dig asked.
"We've estimated there are in total 25-35 thousand snakes." Wells said.
"Oh god." Felicity said shuddering.
"How can there be so many in 20 years?" Rene asked.
"They mated with other diamondbacks and this is the result." Hobbs said.
"I've heard of this before but I've never seen it. Why are they only just now attacking though?" Oliver asked.
"Because of the construction site. They're using explosives. I had it shut down by force when the owner refused to do so willingly." Hobbs said.
"Max clearly doesn't care who dies as long as he fulfills his quota." Sean said.
"Well, first we gotta warn people about this problem. The Mayor won't make any announcement because Max is in his ear." Iden said.
"Well, good thing I know a friend." Lois said amused before they looked outside seeing a news van.
"Who's that?" Oliver asked seeing a woman with auburn hair, white skin and green eyes in a yellow jumpsuit.
"That is April O'Neil from New York. She's who got me into reporting." Lois said.
"Lois I love you." Sean said making her grin.
Soon enough the word was out all over the place.
Thats when Sean got a call.
"Yeah? Yes I'm watching it right now. Be right there." Sean said hanging up with a grin.
"Max?" Lois asked.
"Bingo. He is not happy. Which is good." Sean said leaving.
Later
"Have you lost your mind?" Max asked.
"Two people are dead Max. One 17 and a woman who had kids. I'm actually taking this serious. You're just wanting to ignore this thinking it will go away. But it's not. Not by a long shot." Sean said.
"Thats doesn't mean your friend can set off a panic because of his position." Max said.
"Hobbs is part of the DSS and RSB. This is part of the job. Keeping people safe." Sean said making him sigh. "Look. I know how we can turn this around. We stop the construction until we find the dens. Once we do we can get rid of them for good." Sean said.
"But if we stop production investors will pull out. Future buyers will be living in fear. And potential ones won't wanna step foot here." Max said.
"And what the hell do you think is gonna happen if you finish? Huh? The whole place will be a hunting ground for them. People would be getting bit daily. And once they find out that you knew and didn't say anything how do you think that will look on you?" Sean asked making him frown before a paper came out of a fax machine which he took.
"You going to the city Council meeting tonight?" Max asked.
"Course." Sean said.
"Good...Bring your friend the DSS agent." Max said making him frown.
"What are you up to?" Sean asked as he left making him concerned.
Later
Soon enough everyone was at the town hall meeting.
"Yet again another victim in as many days." Turok said annoyed looking at the Mayor who looked uncomfortable.
"Ok Son since you seem to be the animal expert why don't you explain the situation." Parker said.
"With pleasure. These snakes are hybrids of both diamond back and rattle snake of the same one from 20 years that got loose. That snake was highly aggressive and its venom was highly unusual. Normal theres one of two types of snake venom. The first attacks the central nervous system. The second attacks the organs. This venom on the other hand." Turok said pulling out a container full of it. "Contains a very unusual and highly combination of both." Turok said.
"You only examined this from one specimen? Correct?" Parker asked.
"No we had a dozen. All of them came back the same." Caitlin said.
"So...All of them were exactly the same?" Parker said.
"Correct." Wells said.
"Are you sure it wasn't just them?" Parker said.
"Listen dumbass. Two people died after we got these so don't try to make it sound like we're wrong when we're not." Turok said making him clear his throat seeing that tactic wasn't gonna work.
"So all these snakes are highly aggressive. They would just attack at random?" Mace asked.
"No, thats not the problem. The problem is because of the explosions they're disoriented and confused. And the hunting grounds their used to hunting food...Are now a construction site. Thats why their attacking because we're invading on a place their so used to hunting on." Turok said.
"How do we solve this?" Parker asked.
"Locate the dens and eliminate them." Wells said.
"Excuse me. Shouldn't we be concerned about the Balance of nature. If we wipe them out." A citizen tried to say.
"Normally you'd be right but these snakes aren't natural and they aren't supposed to be here. So the balance of nature isn't something we need to consider when it's an invasive species." Turok said.
"Are there any natural enemies of these snakes?" Qui-Gon asked.
"King Snakes and they are harmless to us and immune to this snake venom. But we would need to import them by the thousands and it would just be replacing one infestation for another." Turok said.
"Whats the best option?" Hobbs asked.
"The best option would be to put a tracker in the snakes we have. They'll go to their dens and we can locate and eliminate them. Problem is that would take days or weeks for them to go there." Turok said.
Thats when Max walked in making Sean concerned.
"Sorry for the late arrival. I had to wait at my office for some documents to arrive." Max said.
"I don't like the sound of that." Barry said.
"What I have here is a criminal record of Agent Hobbs." Max said making Hobbs narrow his eyes.
"What are you babbling about?" Sean asked.
"Did you know his father was a criminal and used to work for him? All the way in another country?" Max asked making people murmur.
"Now wait a minute here." Hobbs said standing up.
"No. You never told anyone that. So...Why should we trust a man who's been lying about himself for years?" Max asked making him frown.
"You wanna tell them the full story of that?" Sean asked standing up glaring at him.
"This is the full story." Max said.
"Wrong. Hobbs was the one who turned him in 15 years ago." Sean said shocking the crowd.
"Thats not important." Max said.
"It is. His father claimed he was taking an interest in his family. What he really wanted was a new crew he could manipulate. Hobbs saw right through it. Knowing his family was in danger he turned him in. And never looked back." Sean said.
"Is that true?" Parker asked.
"It is." Hobbs said. "I left after that knowing no one would understand. I joined the DSS to make sure criminals like him couldn't get far." Hobbs said.
Max tried to salvage the situation.
"He still lied about it though." Max said.
"No that part of his record was expunged. Meaning it's not there anymore. How did you even get this?" Sean asked making him sputter as he glared. "You know Max...I used to think you cared about people...Now I see the truth. You only care about yourself and will destroy anyone to get what you want...We're done." Sean said confusing and concerning him.
"What are you talking about?" Max asked.
"Our contract is over. I'm ending it." Sean said shocking him and the others.
"Now...Wait a minute here. Let's be rational." Max said trying to salvage this.
"No. I am being rational. I'm taking this shit serious and you're just brushing it off to fill a deadline. Which isn't gonna do any good if people end up dying." Sean said making people agree. "The contract is over. I'm pulling out." Sean said.
"Now Mr. Kruger." Parker said.
"Shut the fuck up." Sean said shocking him. "You're just as guilty. You wanna ignore this? Fine. Let's see how many more people die because of you." Sean said as he and the rest left making him sigh heavily.
Later
Sean was in his home with some water when someone started banging on his door.
"Kruger! Open up!" Max yelled making him sigh before doing so.
"What do you want?" Sean asked.
"You can't just pull out. I will lose everything." Max said.
"You should have thought of that before you pulled that last stunt. You proved the kind of person you are. Cruel, calculating manipulative. You don't care about anyone but yourself." Sean said.
"That is not true. I have deadlines to fill. I was trying to get them done. I've never faced this problem before. So...Yes I tried to play it off hoping it would go away. But I cannot lose everything I've built like this. I am begging you to give me another chance and not end the contract." Max said making him glare.
"No." Sean said turning away only for Max to tackle. "YOU'VE LOST YOUR FUCKING MIND!" Sean roared yelled punching him in the face as others rushed out seeing them fight before Sean gave him a powerful uppercut to the neck making him fall over out cold.
"The hell happened?" Iden asked.
"Tried to get me not to cancel the contract. Then when I said no he attacked me." Sean said.
"I'll deal with him." Hobbs said dragging him away.
Next day
Sean was outside with a drink before Lois walked to him.
"You ok?" Lois asked.
"No. I'm pissed. My first contract and it ended in disaster because Max doesn't see this as a problem." Sean said.
"Some people can't see the bigger picture. Only what they want. My dad knows that more than anyone." Lois said making him sigh before he stood up and left. "You seriously gonna ignore this? Just let them face the consequences of their own actions?" Lois asked.
"Sometimes thats the best way to learn." Sean said walking away.
Meanwhile
Turok was at a ball game seeing everything go down.
"What are you doing here?" Hobbs asked.
"I like ball games. My old family used to take me to these when I was a baby before I got into this family 5 years ago." Turok said making him smile.
Thats when a home run was hit making him smirk as it went into the rafters down below.
"I remember my first ball game when I came here." Hobbs said before they heard someone scream making them look seeing some guy convulsing.
"SNAKE!" A woman screamed as people ran in a panic.
"I knew it!" Turok said pissed off before rushing in.
"Help! My son is down below with that thing." Parker said making Turok cross his arms smirking. "What are you waiting for?" Parker asked.
"Oh I'd love to help. But you wouldn't learn a lesson if I did. You'd just brush it off again." Turok said.
"Please! I swear I will make it right. Just PLEASE!" Parker begged.
"I believe him Turok." Hobbs said.
"Ok then." Turok said going in getting them away before pulling him out making Parker sigh in relief holding his son.
Later
"Why were our kids allowed to play here if this town is infested with snakes?" One of the parents from outside town asked the Mayor.
"Because he didn't care." Turok said making him sigh.
"The snakes were sighted on the other side of town. How'd they get all the way over here?" Parker asked.
"Does it really matter at this point? Fact is they are gonna be coming out by the thousands in a short time. But you don't care. All you care about is money." Turok said.
"Thats not true. I thought Fairington could bring in some good for this town. I didn't realize it was this bad. But seeing it now I do." Parker said.
"Well, you better." Hobbs said.
"Right now it's obvious they are everywhere so we need to solve this and fast." Turok said.
"You mean an evacuation?" Parker asked.
"You saw how people panicked." Turok said making him sigh.
"Ok...I'll go and make the announcement at city hall." Parker said.
"And make a few calls to the governor as well." Hobbs said.
"I gotta call the old man let him know the situation." Turok said leaving.
"Right...I'll call the rest of the RSB and let them know." Hobbs said.
Later
The republic was helping with the evacuation to speed it up.
Right now everyone was in Sean's home with him talking to Grand Governor Tarkin.
"This seems a bit unnecessary for simple snakes." Tarkin said in hologram form.
"Anything but simple. The venom from these things could possibly kill even a rancor." Sean said.
"Really?" Tarkin asked.
"The venom inside them is so potent It kills in a minute on a human body no matter what size. We're dealing with a major problem." Sean said.
"I see. Do you have any of these snakes?" Tarkin asked.
"We have a few dozen so far from recent reports for study." Sean said.
"And have you located the dens?" Tarkin asked.
"We believe it might just be one in particular." Turok said.
"Any ideas where?" Tarkin asked.
"No...We're searching right now." Sean said.
"Keep me updated." Tarkin said ending his transmission.
"Ok they would need to go somewhere where theres a lot of space and darkness." Sean said.
"What about some place manmade?" Hobbs asked.
"There might be...Hang on." Del said looking at a map.
"What is that?" Hask asked seeing some tunnel.
"Thats an old mining shaft." Del said.
"According to reports it was abandoned in the late 50's." Iden siad.
"Any particular reason since this was before the original." Mace said.
"Uh...According to reports there was natural gas inside so they abandoned it. Hold on a second." Iden said pulling out a digital map of the mine. "Oh man. Thats probably even worse." Iden said.
"What is it?" Sean asked.
"Uh...The mine that has that gas...Also has some lines that run under the town. If someone blew it the results would be the town blowing up completely." Iden said.
"Wait you mean natural gas lines." Hobbs said.
"Yeah. Since natural Gas is odorless no one noticed. But if someone set off the the gas in the mine...It would blow up the whole town." Iden said.
"Wait a second. What about the explosives at phase 2. They haven't set off any gas explosions." Hask said.
"It's out of reach. We should probably deal with that after." Iden said before Sean's phone rang.
"Lois?" Sean asked.
"Max has gone off the deep end!" Lois yelled.
"Whats going on?" Sean asked.
"He took me by force to this old mine shaft. He found the snake dens and now he wants to blow them up." Lois said.
Sean growled before rushing out.
Meanwhile
Max smirked seeing all the explosives were in place.
"Take some notes Miss Lane. With this Kruger will hand me back that contract plus extra." Max said about to set them off.
Only for Sean to grab him and slammed him down hard making him yell as he cuffed him.
"You have lost your mind!" Sean yelled shoving him into the truck that Lois was cuffed in.
"What are you doing! I'm trying to end this!" Max yelled.
"By blowing up the town? Theres gas in there that connects to the town. You blow it up and you'll destroy everything!" Sean yelled.
"Then I can just build more!" Max yelled as Sean punched him knocking him out as others arrived.
Sean growled before walking to Lois breaking the cuffs making her rub her wrists.
"Thats it. You're teaching me how to fight." Lois said making him grin.
Later
After finding the dens they were eradicated.
As for Max on the other hand.
"Max Fairington. You are charged with endangering the public through neglect and attempting to use explosives illegally which would result in the destruction of said public. How do you plead?"
"Not guilty. I was trying to solve the problem. I had no idea about the gas veins. I just wanted the contract back." Max said.
"Do you deny when you were told you said it you could just build more?"
This made him frown remembering that.
"I wasn't thinking straight. I built this company from nothing and I was gonna lose everything and it...Made my view warped." Max said.
"That may be true. But you did endanger the public on several means. Not informing them about the infestation that was in your construction field. Hiding evidence of one of the homes infested with them. Trying to turn the public against a respected member of the RSB for a past he wanted no part of. These are the actions of a man who only cares about himself and himself alone."
"Look If I can just say..." Max tried to say.
"Enough. The evidence is overwhelming. You are sentenced to 10 years in prison with no possibility of parol. And will attend psychiatric therapy. And when you are released you will be on 5 years probation." The Judge said slamming the gavel making him let out a shuddering breath as he was led away as people glared at him.
"Disappointing." Sean said standing up.
"You took everything from me." Max said as they stopped.
"No...You did that yourself. I gave you a solution and you flat out ignored it. whats happening is your own fault...Not mine." Sean said as he was taken away.
Later
Everyone was at the park celebrating their little victory.
"If I can have everyone's attention." Parker said getting everyone to stop. "I know this whole thing has rattled the whole community. No Pun intended on that one." Parker said seeing it as people laughed. "But...We've come out better for it. From now on any incidents will be investigated throughly. No more hoping things just go away ever again." Parker said getting an applause. "Now Lets just hope to god we never go through this again." Parker said making people laugh more.
"You sure they're gone for good?" Hobbs asked.
"We did a throughly clean sweep of the whole place. They're gone for good. As for the snakes we have they've been put down." Sean said.
"Good. What about the Venom we collected?" Barry asked.
"Science division took it at Legacy tech. If properly studied it could become the most profound anti-Venom." Sean said.
"You mean like for every kind of snake venom?" Caitlin asked.
"Bingo. With some proper study it could cure all snake venom and even be made into a permanent anti venom that you only need to inject once and passed down from parent to child." Sean said.
"Damn." Dig said.
"Well, here's hoping." Oliver said.
"If I could have everyone's attention." Bruce said making everyone stop. "For last five years our world has changed and for the better. New worlds have been found and allied with the Republic. Crime has gone down because of so many changes." Bruce said getting an applause. "However there are other worlds out there that haven't experienced the good thats come from these last five years. In the unknown regions of the Republic's originating Galaxy...That ends today." Bruce said.
"Oh what is he up to?" Oliver asked making Sean chuckle.
"I'd like to present to you...The New Starlight beacon project." Bruce said showing a hologram of the original starlight station hundreds of years ago surprising people. "As of today the new station has been complete and set for the unknown regions. We'll find more systems out there and make their lives better just as ours have." Bruce said making people cheer.
"Damn." Hobbs said making Sean smirk.
Things were going better than ever.

Now Next chapter involves our favorite racers who Sean and Batman are familiar with.
