The Thief's Next Victims
Shortly after first period ended, Daphne went to her locker to put her history book away.
"Oh no! My tape player with my Purvis Parker tape in it is gone!" Daphne exclaimed.
Fred, Shaggy, and Velma ran right over.
Fred looked inside Daphne's locker, "Strange, very strange." he commented.
"What's strange, Freddie?" Daphne asked, intrigued.
"Daphne, the thief or thieves only nabbed your player and cassette," Freddie commented. "but they left your headphones behind."
"Jinkies," Velma said. "Freddie found a clue!"
"Like, why would the thief or thieves make off with your player but not your headphones, Daphne?" Shaggy asked.
"I don't know," Daphne answered Shaggy. "but I intend to find out!"
Suddenly, Fred, Velma, Daphne, and Shaggy heard Red's voice.
"Oh no," Red exclaimed. "my new skateboard is gone!"
Velma, Shaggy, Daphne, and Fred raced to Red's locker.
"Like, what's wrong, Red?" Shaggy asked, he was out of breath.
"My new Turbo Master 909 skateboard has been stolen!" Red exclaimed.
"Hmmm," Daphne said. "interesting."
"What's interesting?" Red asked Daphne.
"Your board is the only thing that the thief or thieves took," Daphne noticed. "but your safety gear is still in your locker."
"What are you getting at?" Red asked Daphne.
