After one week the genin of Team 7 realized just how far away from the mark of being true shinobi's they were. Kakashi spent the week drilling into each student the importance of teamwork while also working on their individual abilities. Granted every single day he was late, but during those hours of self-training the team had found a good rhythm. Naruto used his clones to spare with Sasuke while Sakura read over her scrolls. Sakura gave both boys tips in chakra control to help them do the tree walking exercise that her brother had shown her. While Sasuke refused to personally train either of them as his clan's fighting style was to "elite" for them he was willing to help them find their own combat style. Sasuke helped Sakura with her evasion skills suggesting to her that a hit & run style would work well as she could use her budding Genjutsu skills to aid in her fighting style. Naruto surprised both of them by stating that there was a Jonin in the village who practically mastered Gentaijutsu. Naruto proved to have a working knowledge of most of the shinobi in the village one to avoid the ones who did not like him & two because as he says it "A good Hokage knows who works under him so that he can better work with them". The irony of him having such information lead to Sakura forcing him to admit that he spent a lot of time in the Hokage office looking at personnel files. In combat Sasuke told Naruto to use less clones & to observe his surroundings. His durability, stamina & chakra levels all but guarantee he was a natural born tank but there was no reason for him to spam clones just to overwhelm with brute force & no strategy. Both were willing to accept his help in their taijutsu, but Naruto also began to add them to his pranks. Currently all three were standing in front of the Hokage covered in pink paint each with their own looks on their faces. Naruto was grinning ear to ear while Sakura had a look of fear on her face & Sasuke was trying to fight the smirk that came up every time, he thought of the situation that got them there. Naruto was originally planning to prank Kakashi for showing up late but when they found him staring at the Memorial Stone, they began to get a better idea of how his mind worked. That was until Sasuke pointed to another Kakashi running from a black cat & another Kakashi carrying four bags of groceries & a final Kakashi walking towards the "Road of Life" bookstore. The three thought that they were looking at shadow clones & decided to prank each one. Instead Kakashi had four chunin henge into him. The one at the memorial stone was not touched due to where he was & the fact that each one felt like he was looking directly at them. The Kakashi that was helping the old lady was pelted with glitter bombs as he exited the house. The one who exited the bookstore was sprayed with a disgusting musky mist that got the attention of every canine in the area. Soon he was being chased by stray dogs & without paying attention happened to run by the Inuzuka Compound causing their less disciplined ninken to follow suit. The Kakashi that was running from the black cat was suddenly chased by several cats leading him to an alleyway where both Sakura & Sasuke jumped out from behind a dumpster with more glitterballs in hand. This Kakashi was more skilled & shunshined to the roof where he found buckets of pink paint preplanned by Naruto & dumped it over the edge covering the black cat, all of Naruto's henged shadow clones & all of Team 7. Once the team was able to get the paint out of their faces, they were face to face with four different Kakashi's surrounding them. The one on the roof released the henge & standing in his place was a chunin whose most notable feature was the lines around his eyes that were turned up at the ends. He had short brown hair & wore his forehead protector like a bandanna along with the standard Konoha shinobi outfit, minus the flak jacket. He also wore a thick set of bandages around his left arm for birds to perch on without damaging his arm. The Kakashi that was covered in bite marks turned into a chunin with has spiky brown hair, dark eyes & a broad, relatively flat nose. He was wearing the standard attire of the Konoha shinobi inclusive of flak jacket & forehead protector along with bandages around his wrists. The Kakashi covered in bite marks was being restrained as the short black hair that frames either side of his face & small black eyes raged towards the three genin. He wore the typical Konoha flak jacket & a bandanna-style forehead protector. The only Kakashi still standing tall was the one they initially saw at the memorial stone. He did a small smile before pointing towards the Hokage tower. This lead to their current position of staring at their Hokage who could barely keep the smile off of his face. "Today's reports have been enlightening to say the least Team 7, I must ask Kakashi, what was the point of today's exercise?" Hiruzen asked. "Hmmm not quite sure", he stated "I felt that I needed to work more with my precious little students so I hired a couple of chunin to help me out around town. Little did I know that they would attack them" Kakashi said with an eye smile. "How has their training been going?" Hiruzen asked. "Currently from 7am to 10am we train in team exercises & team combat drills. Once we complete those we have 2 maybe 3 d rank missions & once those are complete, we head back to the training ground for one-on-one training". This piqued the Hokage's attention as he was curious as to how Kakashi was actually training both Naruto & Sasuke. Kakashi looked towards Sakura & told her to explain. "Well, we usually pick a scroll on either genjutsu or basic medical skills that I spend one day reading over, we discuss the concepts, theories & potential applications for the jutsu's as well as the possible side effects. Kakashi Sensei uses the genjutsu on me, so I have experienced it before I get the chance to use it on him. We then cover the different strategies that the genjutsu can be used for & if it's a genjutsu I can use in combat or not. So far I have learned the Blade Concealed in Glamour Genjutsu & the Demonic Illusion Dancing Blossom Swarm Technique. As far as medical ninjutsu is concerned I am learning the first few steps of the Mystical Palm Technique. Kakashi Sensei only knows the theory of it so until he can find a medical-nin to teach me it's only theory work, but he's also teaching me advanced chakra control techniques to fine tune my abilities" stated Sakura. Sasuke came forward next "Were currently working on my nature transformations, my natural affinity is lightning but due to my clan training I am proficient in fire already. I am struggling a bit with water & earth, but we are making a little headway & my wind training is nonexistent until I grasp earth & water. We're also looking at Uchiha clan scrolls for techniques I can utilize that other shinobi don't know to give me an edge. Our taijutsu training is also proceeding at an acceptable pace. Once I obtain my Sharingan though we will increase my training two-fold". Naruto stepped forward but Kakashi stopped him from speaking. "Unless you're ready to tell them everything" Kakashi stated "Be mindful of what you say". With that in mind, Naruto stepped back. "What's the big secret" Sasuke asked. Before Naruto could speak the Hokage gave a response. "As you are aware, there were special circumstances that allowed Naruto to graduate. One of those circumstances was him learning the Shadow Clone Jutsu. That jutsu is listed as a Kinjutsu technique due to the high level of chakra needed to do to it especially with the amount of clones Naruto can make. We're trying to find out if it's possible that Naruto has a blood line that gives him a high level of chakra, but until we do this conversation is a secret. Do You Understand? asked Sarutobi. Both genin nodded & was asked to leave, but both Kakashi & the Hokage knew that this conversation was far from over.
