Hey all! New chapter is introducing the Akaba's to CDA. Also, Kaiba gets ribbed. Enjoy!

This was a perplexing time for the students of Central DA. Their tiny island school had just appeared in the middle of a waterway that cut through a city. A city that was bustling with people and seeing the island. Jaden saw several crowds already gather at the edge of the docks.

"Lexi, we're not in Kansas anymore..." Jaden quipped.

"No kidding, Jay. I-AH!" Alexis screamed suddenly.

The reason? A helicopter with a large number 8 on the side had flown up. The stirred up wind had caught her off guard. A spotlight shone down on the pair, Jaden's eyes widening. Spinning around, he covered Alexis as much as possible.

"HEY! SOME OF US ARE TRYING TO SLEEP HERE!" A voice roared over the blades of the copter. Jaden glanced over to see Chazz, standing on his blacony.

The blackhaired boy looked over and saw Jaden covering Alexis. Jaw dropping, he turned back to see it was a news copter.

"HEY YOU FUCKING PERVERTED ASSHOLES! STOP RECORDING A GIRL AND HER BOYFRIEND! MOTHERFUCKERS ARE GONNA HEAR FROM OUR LAWYERS ABOUT THIS, YOU HEAR ME!?" Chazz roared, his eyes blazing with rage.

Clearly, that got the pilot's attention because he quickly flew up and away. Jaden shot Chazz a grateful look. Chazz met his gaze, only to suddenly snap away, a blush on his face. Realizing what was going on, Jaden quickly got Alexis back inside.

"...We need to get to campus. NOW." Jaden stated coldly.

Sticking his head out, he told Chazz the same thing. Said boy nodded.

GXROD

The campus of Central was a hive of activity. Students of all dorms were assembled there, trying to find out what was going on. Jaden, Alexis, and Chazz, all dressed, stepped through the crowds. Maurice and Syrus looked up. Seeing them, they waved em over.

"What's going on?" Alexis asked.

"Got me. Everyone is scared and worried. What about you guys?"

"We're fine...well, other then poor Alexis flashing a news copter..." Chazz muttered, making the girl glare at him.

"Thank you for reminding me I did that..." She snarled.

Chazz chuckled, a tad nervous at the glare she was giving him. Jaden wrapped an arm around her, calming her down. Soon Kaiba came out. Seeing him, Jaden's voice bellowed out over the crowd.

"Kaiba, what did you break this time?! I swear, you're no better then Joey Wheeler, always messing with something that should be left alone!" Jaden called out.

Mokuba, hearing this, began laughing hysterically. Seto shot daggers at his little brother.

"W-what? It's true! H-how often did Joey break things when he visited? And yet, here you are, doing the same!" Mokuba snickered out.

"I am nothing like Wheeler." Kaiba snapped.

Everyone disagreed. He was just like Joey. Only when it came to Kaiba, he broke a lot more then fancy equipment. Kaiba glared at Jaden, but the boy just gave a look that said 'prove me wrong'. Knowing he couldn't win a verbal spar with the King, he groaned. He was not going to like this next part.

"We...were looking at the barrier of Dimensions. An incident several years ago had created a hole."

That had everyone muttering. A hole? Mokuba decided to add more fuel to the fire. He told everyone about the DSOD event. This time, the quip came not from Jaden, but Miles.

"Wow! When your brother wants to break something, Mister Mokuba, he does not do things half-way! He chooses to BREAK reality as we know it! I think is goes even beyond Mister Wheeler's level of crazy!" The pony tailed boy commented, Fiona trying and failing to hold back her smile.

"I know right!?" Mokuba said, laughing all over again which just made his older brother fume.

Hey, he loved his brother, but he was no longer that ten year old kid who looked up to him blindly. When Seto messes up, he'd hold it over his older brother for a LONG time. Seto lightly bopped his brother's head, a twitch forming.

"Regardless, it seems we latched onto another Dimensional energy beam. One that came from this dimensional plane." Seto said, ignoring his still snickering little brother. "We were pulled here...wherever here is."

That made many of the students start to murmur. Alexis decided to speak up.

"Well, I expect someone from what passes as the government shows up soon...given that a news copter flew by the Blue Dorm." Alexis stated.

Kaiba nodded. He needed to get ready.

GXROD

Declan Akaba watched the TV in silent contemplation. On the screen, they had gone to the odd island that had appeared. As they passed by a strange blue dorm, a boy and girl were outside looking up. Clearly, they had been sleeping when the copter had passed. The girl was pixalated, clearly due to the boy being in sleep wear. He watched the boy cover the girl before they heard yelling. He grimaced, hearing what the black haired boy shouted.

Well, that was going to bite the news crew in the ass later.

He saw his mother come in then. She was a fair-skinned woman with blue eyes and magenta hair curled into the shape of a heart. She wore a dark pink skirt and blouse with with a high collar lined in black, and padded shoulders, in addition to magenta high-heeled shoes with golden attachments that resemble snakes curling around her ankles. In her ears were gold long earrings and a golden necklace in a similar style with red lipstick and nail-polish.

"Mother."

"Declan. Is this a result of your experiment?" She asked, looking at the screen.

"Sadly, yes. However...I do not think this is the same Duel Academy that Father founded. I would recall a boy with Golden eyes like that." Declan mentioned, pointing at the glaring Jaden.

What was that boy? His eyes spoke of power and rage. Henrietta shivered in fear. She turned away, only for her phone to go off. Answering it, she gasped.

"He's what?! Declan, the mayor-!"

"That idiot..." Declan hissed, getting up, already concluding what the man was doing.

GXROD

Everyone at central heard them. The kids all turned around to see several people in strange uniforms running up. What was worse? They were carrying guns. Instantly, the teens all shot back to the main campus building. Kaiba strode forward.

At the front of the large group of people was a short, portly man, wearing an orange double breasted suit. He had black hair, large eyebrows, and a mustache. In his hands was a mega phone.

"SURROUND THEM ALL! MAKE SURE NONE ESCAPE! NO INVADERS ARE ALLOWED TO ESCAPE!" The man was shouting.

"Who the hell are you and what the hell do you think you are doing?!" Kaiba snarled.

The man snarled right back as Kaiba was surrounded.

"I'll be asking you the same question and questions around here! I am Mayor Furio of Maimi City! Who are you, why are you here, what is your plan to invade our fair city, and where are you from and how did you get here!?" Furio snarled.

Kaiba glared at the little man. Seeing that he was not answering, Furio got even more furious. Ordering the men to fire on Kaiba, said men took aim. There was a rush of fire and suddenly, a large scaled wall of red and black appeared. The men fired at the wall, only for the bullets to bounce off.

Kaiba turned around to see Uria, Lord of Searing flames appearing, coiled around the school. It snarled, glaring at the attackers. Kaiba smirked.

Jaden. That boy was quite adept now.

"HEY! MOVE THIS WALL OUT OF THE WAY! I'M A VERY IMPORTANT PERSON!" Furio screeched.

Taking the screeching as a challenge, Uria lowered its head. Furio just smirked.

"Like a hologram can scare me!"

Opening its mouth, Uria let loose its Hyper Screech. The armed forces and Mayor were blasted out of their shoes and socks, flying barefoot. They all landed in heaps, groaning and moaning. Uria snorted, lifting its head up.

Furio jumped to his feet, snarling. He grabbed a rocket launcher and aimed it at Uria. The Twilight God gave a look that screamed 'really?'. Depressing the trigger, Furio was blasted off of his feet again.

Uria opened its mouth, unleashing its Hyper Blaze attack.

The attack consumed the RPG, causing it to explode. Furio watched in shocked horror as the inferno rushed at them. The fire smashed into the ground nearby, becoming a pillar of fire. Mechanically, the mayor and his forces turned their faces.

"...sir...that fire is real..." An officer said.

"I can see that..." Furio stated.

"I feel the heat..." Another officer commented.

"Yes, I can feel it..." Furio replied.

"Then...that thing..."

Everyone turned to the still coiled beast around the school. It's eyes flashed yellow, screeching.

"That's thing's real..." Furio whispered.

"Yep...permission to piss and shit my pants sir...?"

"...Granted..."

Kabia laughed, hearing the entire exchange. He paused when he heard the beat of copter blades. He saw a helecopter with a large L plastered on the side. Uria glared at the copters, but did not engage. The copter came down and a man stepped out. Kaiba sized the man up right away. Blue eyes met gray and instantly, they knew each other.

"I believe I am talking to the man in charge of this school?"

"The founder, but yes. Am I to assume you are part of or at least affiliated with those men behind our defense system?" Kaiba asked, arms crossed.

"Yes. Declan Akaba Headmaster of the Leo Institute of Dueling and CEO of Leo Corporation." Declan said, offering his hand.

"Seto Kaiba, CEO of Kaiba Corporation and founder of Duel Academy." Kaiba said, taking the offered hand.

They shook. The head of Leo apologized for what their idiot of a mayor had done. He had been in the middle of coming over to talk when the whole thing went down. Kaiba glared.

"If that is your mayor, I shudder to think what your world leaders are like." Kaiba grunted out.

"Not as thick headed as that one, thankfully. But leave Mayor Furio to me. I take it you were experimenting with Dimensional energies?" He asked.

Kaiba nodded again. They had a few concerning incidents regarding extra dimensional issues and were checking the status of their barriers. Clearly, their own experiment ran afoul with Declan's by per sheer happenstance. Declan apologized for that.

"I was trying to open a door to get to a dimension that contains my father."

"Well, you need to calm down your people before more shit hits the fan." Kaiba said coldly.

Akaba nodded, understanding. He'd inform the mayor that it was one of their experiments gone awry. Kaiba nodded, walking back. He had some scared students to calm down.

And so they meet! Kaiba and Akaba. You know, the writers of Arc-V could have made Akaba an anagram for Kaiba, like Bakai or even Baika for the last name. Oh well. Would have been a cool little nod to DM imo. But next chapter, everyone will be introduced to Action duels!

Well, a small taste of it. Leo will use a certain blonde pinhead from their school to duel. Stay tuned for that!
