After sleeping for over 500 years, the Nexus Rangers had found that their world had completely changed and was under the attack by universal conquerors known as the Kaiser Empire. After meeting the Children of Aura, the Rangers learn that their old enemy Embryo had traveled to another dimension, ruling it in the shadows. How will they handle it? Well...It's Morphin' Time!

28. Chapter 25: The Rider of Villkiss

Chapter 25: The Rider of Villkiss and the Knight of Ange

Shortly after hearing the message from the transmission signal and triangulating it to the city ruins, Naga and Kaname volunteer to investigate it while the Nexus Rangers, Pixel, Salamandinay and Misty were in the Hub's command room to watch them from the computer.

"We'll arrive at the designated location soon." Kaname said.

"Understood. Report back if you found anything." Salamandinay told them.

"Yes, milady." Naga said.

"No offense to Naga or Kaname, but I still feel like I should've gone along with my team." Dean said.

"And like I said before, there was no way of knowing that the message was fabricated somehow. We can't afford to lose you and the others, also I have complete faith in their skills." Salamandinay said.

"I guess there's no denying that. But the moment things get hairy, we'll still move out and handle it." Dean said.

"Very well, I accept those terms." Salamandinay said.

After waiting for a few minutes, Kaname and Naga soon contacted the Hub.

"Princess, everyone, it appears the distress call wasn't a fabrication." Kaname said.

Kaname then showed them the Ragna-mail, Villkiss, which was in a damaged state as it was missing its left arm and was lying on the ground.

The Rangers and their allies were surprised to see that.

"Villkiss." Salamandinay said.

"Guess there's no doubt about it now. She's here." Shin said.

Kaname and Naga brought their faces back on the screen to speak to them.

"We found traces of someone making camp here. They also left a trail, so they couldn't have gone far. Permission to follow, my lady?" Naga requested.

"Granted. But be careful. It's still likely that this is a trap." Salamandinay said.

"Understood." Both Naga and Kaname nodded before they ended the transmission to resume their search.

"Guess I better bring out the spycams." Pixel said before she brings out her keyboard to activate and deploy the spycams to follow Naga and Kaname.

While she was doing that, the Rangers and their allies were now discussing the fact that Ange is here in this world.

"I still can't believe that Angelise is here." Misty said.

"Oh, yeah. You said that you have a personal history with her, right?" Aaron said and Misty nodded.

"But the better question is how is she here?" Alisa said.

"I'm still trying to figure that out myself." Shin said.

"Maybe it was because of the Ariel Mode thing?" Claire asked.

Shin hummed while rubbing a hand on his chin.

"Hmmm…In theory it could be possible. But then again, Ariel Mode does have its limits. Unless she was using Villkiss' spatial temporal jump system, it would've been impossible…unless…maybe this is connected to how Embryo broke the rules of the Grid." Shin said.

"Like how he did it with the singulars?" Alisa said, Shin nodded.

"It's the only logical reason." Shin said.

"Well either way, I think we're about to find out soon. Look." Pixel pointed at the main screen.

They saw Naga, Kaname along with two male Children of Aura approaching a hotel.

It appears to be a large resort hotel, and it has lit up signs. It was written in Japanese, but Shin was able to translate it.

"Hotel Mu La Flaga? Wait, I know that place." Shin said.

"You do?" Salamandinay said.

"Yeah. It's…It was a popular resort hotel back in our time. Basically, a place where people and even those from other countries can enjoy living in." Shin said.

"I see." Salamandinay said.

"But I'm surprised it's still standing and that the power can still work." Dean said.

"Well, it was built by one of Japan's major players in economy. Guess it was money well spent." Shin said.

Everyone in the Hub soon sees the male DRAGONs landing in front of the hotel and the force was strong enough to shatter most of the windows.

Pixel brought the spycams closer and found two people within one of the rooms.

One they recognized is Ange, the former princess of the Misurugi Empire and with her was the young man known as Tusk.

Both had fallen on the floor and to their shock, they saw that Ange was wearing a robe, but her body was a bit exposed while Tusk's head accidentally fell in front between her legs.

After seeing that the girls blushed except for Salamandinay who looked at them in curiosity while the boys quickly turned away.

"Jeez…talk about bad timing." Dean said.

"You just had to land down there!" Ange said in annoyance.

"Sorry!" Tusk quickly apologized.

That's when they saw the DRAGON staring at them before Kaname and Naga appeared to greet as they were standing on its head.

"I assume you're the ones who send the distress signal?" Naga said.

"Th-They're DRAGONs…" Both Ange and Tusk said.

"And you are false people. Welcome to our world. The real Earth." Naga greeted them but wasn't exactly a warm welcome.

The male Rangers decided to turn back to the screen.

"We really need to come up with better names than false people. Even the real and false Earths." Shin said.

"But still, I wonder how things will play out now that she's here." Dean said as he looked at Ange.

(Play: Believe in Nexus by Masaaki Endoh)

(Instrumental) (As the song starts, two Earths appear one at a time before they collide against each other creating a flash of light which blinded the screen.)

(Sono te nobashi te mabayui ashita o tsukamitore! Mugen no sora hamatake Believe in Nexus!) (Five of the Nexus Zords had appeared as the Racer, Wolf, and Dozer Zords were racing on a large road while the Chopper and Falcon Zords were flying above them before they turned into a flash of light and flew into the vast open sky before the story's title appeared on screen.)

(Araburu kono shoudo daremino tomiranai!) (The Nexus Rangers were standing on a hill as they looked at the town where the Children of Aura resides as some of them in DRAGON form flew above them as they watched them in awe.)

(Hiri asa mi kirikou o taka maru kono Heart Beat!) (Then it changes to a split screen with Salamandinay looking at her Enryugo as it was still incomplete, and Ange who was in her room in Arzenal as she was seated on her bed while looking at her ring, before it changes to Embryo and behind him was Kurt who was holding his Lion Knuckle Morpher.)

(Bi chinai sou o natato sekawaerai!) (Then it changes showing an army of Xedroids and behind them were Prince Crimson, General Swartz, and Cyber.)

(Koko de oarasatakunai Go For It!) (Next the screen changes to the Rangers commencing their Morphin Sequence as they Morph into their suits before their helmets appeared.)

(Tachiagare kodoku ni obiekuru e naide!) (The screen changes showing a fleet of Xe-Fighters and an army of Xe-Bots charging forward to attack, then changes to the Nexus Rangers loading their Zord Cards into their Morphers as they soon appear, and the Rangers jump into them.)

(Nakama ma batte irukoto mou ichido omoidase!) (In his cockpit, the Nexus Red Ranger inserts his Battle Mode Card into his Morpher and his Racer Zord changes into the said mode.)

(Kowaku wa naisa akirame wa shinai donna tsugoi yatsu ni mo make wa shinai itsudatte o kino yuuki de Believe In Nexus!) (Then each of the Nexus Zord launch respective attacks on their enemies before the Kaiser Sphere in the sky. Then the Zords combine forming the Nexus Prime Megazord, and then energy appears around the Megazord before it flies at the Kaiser Sphere to attack and when it collides against the Sphere a large flash of light appears blinding the screen. Then it changes to both Earths before the Nexus Rangers along with the villain leaders appeared as they faced each other.)

After they let Ange along with the young man who was with her, change into their clothes, Kaname and Naga made them enter a metal container and joining them was a DRAGON, Salamandinay could tell she was a member of the Slyphis Clan.

The container was being lifted by the male and larger DRAGONs including Villkiss along with the other flying vehicle as they headed back to their town while Kaname and Naga flew back in their Ryuu-Shin-Ki.

To make sure they won't pull anything, Pixel brought a spycam into the container to spy on the trio.

"I wonder where they're taking us." Tusk said before they felt the container shaking.

"You okay, Vivian?" Ange asked and the DRAGON or rather Vivian answered by nodding.

"Can't you be more careful? We've got two girls here!" Tusk told them before he grabbed Ange's shoulders. "It's going to be alright, Ange. No matter what kind of crazy world we're in, I swear, I'll keep you safe."

Vivian blushes to hear that with her hands on her face.

Claire blushes with a hand on her mouth.

"How bold…" Claire said.

"Crazy world they're in…If only they know half of it." Dean said.

"I know." Ange said with a serious tone before she thinks of a plan. "Now let's think. They speak the same language as we do, if we can make them talk to us, maybe we can learn something helpful about this world."

Tusk sweat drops to hear that.

"Uhhh…Yeah, that's a good idea."

Ange then noticed the look on his face.

"What's wrong?" Ange asked.

"Oh…I just…notice you're back to normal that's all."

"What? Are you still hot and bothered or something?"

"Wha…?"

Ange smirks.

"We did get interrupted at the worst time."

"N-No! I mean yeah, but…"

"There's a time and place for that kind of thing. I don't understand men." Ange said with Vivian nodding in agreement.

The Rangers along with Pixel and Misty sweat drops after watching them.

"Way to ruin the mood." Claire said.

"But there's no denying what she said is true." Alisa added.

Dean looks at the young man with Ange and Vivian.

"Know this is a bit too late to ask, but I wonder who he is?" Dean said.

"I've been wondering the same myself." Salamandinay said.

"Have you seen him before, Misty?" Aaron asked, Misty shook her head.

"No, this is my first time seeing him as well." She told the Rangers, Pixel and Salamandinay.

"Then I guess he's another mystery we need to solve from a long list." Shin said.

Salamandinay looks at Vivian who was with Ange and Tusk.

"But still, I wonder how a child of the Slyphis Clan is with them." Salamandinay said.

"That is strange. Especially since the Norma were taught that the DRAGONs are supposed to be their mortal enemies." Misty said.

"If I had to guess, they must have known her for some time. Well enough to see her as a friend. It also could've been possible that they didn't know about it until now." Shin said.

"But how though? Even in human form, they still would've noticed her wings and tail." Salamandinay said.

"That is a good question." Shin said.

The Blue Ranger then took a moment to look at the Slyphis daughter and noticed the cut shape scar on her wings and saw that the tip of her tail was now missing. He then thought about the Children of Aura's ability to change form.

"Is it possible…?" Shin mutters to himself which his friends notice.

"What? Did you figure it out?" Dean asked.

"Possible. I'll have to discuss this with Gecko once she checks her out." Shin said.

They soon notice the container Ange and her friends were in begins to shake, not long after, Ange and Tusk begin to fall on top of each other.

"Hey, watch where you're putting those hands, buddy!"

"I didn't mean to touch you there!"

"How long are you gonna be in the mood?"

"No! I'm not in the mood! Honest!"

"Show's over! You missed your chance!"

The Rangers and their allies once again sweat drop while Salamandinay chuckles.

"Well…They certainly seem like an odd pair." Alisa said.

"You can say that again." Claire said.

Salamandinay coughs in her hand, gaining their attention.

"In any case, I should head back and join the council in the meeting with her." Salamandinay said before she walked to the transporter.

"Okay. Just don't do anything reckless." Dean told her and Salamandinay chuckled before she turned to him.

"Do you have any right to lecture me about that?" Salamandinay said before she uses the transporter to leave the Hub.

"I guess not." Dean said.

After a few minutes, Kaname and Naga landed on the courtyard of the temple with the two male DRAGONs with them.

With their weapons in hand, Kaname and Naga open the container for Ange along with Tusk and Vivian.

"You can come out. We're here." Naga told them.

Ange, Tusk and Vivian walked out of the container and took a moment to study their surroundings.

"The High Priestess will see you now. Follow me." Naga instructed them.

That's when someone fired a tranquilizer dart on Vivian which caused her to fall asleep and not long after that, Dr. Gecko and two members of her medical team approach her.

"Vivian?!" Ange glares at Kaname and Naga. "What are you going to do to her?!"

Both Kaname and Naga had their weapons ready.

"The Slyphis daughter is no longer your concern. We'll be taking custody of her." Kaname told her.

Ange grits her teeth before Tusk places a hand on her shoulder.

"Calm down. If they wanted to hurt us, they would've done it by now. Best that we'll play it safe for now." Tusk said.

Ange clicks her tongue but acknowledges that he was right. Kaname and Naga soon guided them inside the temple.

"Oh, boy. I can only imagine how things will play out." Dean said.

"You and I both." Pixel said.

Aaron was in deep thought after hearing the Slyphis daughter's name which Claire noticed.

"Is something wrong, Aaron?" Claire asked.

"No, it's just…I can't help but feel that I heard her name before." Aaron said.

"Maybe it was during the time we infiltrated Arzenal?" Shin said.

"Could be. But then again, I might be overthinking it." Aaron said.

As they were talking, Misty looked at Ange before she looked at the transporter which Alisa noticed and spoke to her.

"I know what you're thinking, Misty, but you shouldn't." Misty turns to the Yellow Ranger. "It would be one thing if she saw us but seeing you will be another matter."

"But even so…" Misty said before Aaron placed a hand on her shoulder and Misty turned to the Black Ranger.

"No, Alisa's right. I know you want to go out and speak with Ange, but this isn't the best time. Once things settle down and after she has grown accustomed to this world, then we'll let you talk to her. Okay?" Aaron said.

While a bit disappointed, Misty accepted those conditions and nodded.

"Very well. Accept those conditions." Misty said.

"Good girl." Aaron patted her shoulder.

They soon saw that Kaname and Naga were walking in a hallway with Ange and Tusk following behind them.

"But think we should tell Sayla and Carole about this?" Claire said. Dean shook his head.

"No, I don't think that's a good idea either. Carole might be happy to see her, but I can't say the same about Sayla." Dean said.

"Oh, right. If I recall, those two have a personal history and they didn't leave things on the best of terms." Alisa said.

"I guess that's one way to look at it." Dean said as he remembers seeing Sayla's first meeting with Ange back, she was still the princess of her empire and how she told Sayla to replace her daughter with a new one before letting the police take her away. "Which is all the more reason we need to keep this to ourselves and really make sure that Sayla doesn't learn about this."

"Yeah. I'm with Dean on this one. Sayla having a reunion with Angelise or Ange as she now calls herself, might not turn out so well." Shin said.

"Guess I can't argue about that. But that doesn't mean I'll like it." Claire said and Dean placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Trust me, we all feel the same." Dean told his cousin.

They soon saw Kaname and Naga bringing Ange and Tusk to the main council room where the High Priestess, the Shrine Maidens, and Salamandinay were waiting for them. Shin recognized the room where they held his trial.

The room had lanterns and torches to light the room while at the far end, a five-level shrine rose up before them. On each level, the Shrine Maidens sat on opposing sides behind a silk screen that hung from the ceiling. On the very top was the High Priestess behind a bamboo blind.

"We have brought them, High Priestess." Kaname and Naga greeted her.

"A woman from another world. And a man as well. Tell me your names." The High Priestess said.

"Depends on who's asking. Why don't you tell me your name first?" Ange questions her with a defiant glare.

Tusk grew concerned when she said while the Shrine Maidens were stunned by her disrespect and Kaname and Naga were a bit enraged right now.

"You dare insult the High Priestess?!" Naga exclaimed as she grabbed onto her swords ready to cut her down along with Kaname.

"Nice going!" Tusk whispers to Ange.

"Well…that escalated quickly." Shin said while scratching a finger on his cheek. Aaron turns to Misty.

"Was she always like that?" Aaron asked.

"No." Misty shook her head. "Before her exile, she was more refined and ladylike."

"I can vouch for that." Dean said.

"No singular had opened for some time. So how is it that you came here?" The High Priestess questions her again.

That is when the Shrine Maidens begin to question her next.

"You will answer the High Priestess's question!"

"Did you fly here on that cursed machine?"

"Tell us, how are you acquainted with this Slyphis girl?"

As they continue to bombard her with question after question, Ange's patients grow rapidly thin and finally have enough as she begins to shout at them.

"Just shut up! Don't ask me a million questions at once! I'm just as confused as you are! What kind of place is this?! What year is it?! What are you after?!"

"Ange, you need to calm down." Tusk told her as Naga pulled out her swords.

"Oh boy. I really don't like her chances here." Claire said.

"Indeed." Alisa nodded.

"How much do you want to bet that Naga will be the one who attacks first?" Aaron asked.

"Are we seriously having this conversation?" Misty said.

That's when everyone in the council room heard Salamandinay chuckling from her seat which was beneath the High Priestess' level. That chuckle also got the Rangers and their allies' attention including with Ange before she heard her voice and it sounded familiar to her.

"You certainly have a daring spirit."

That's when she stood up and revealed herself to Ange and she was shocked to see the princess of the Freyja Clan.

"You again?!"

"Captain of the Guard and Princess of the Freyja, Children of Aura, Salamandinay. A pleasure." Salamandinay introduced herself to Ange who glared at her. "I am pleased to welcome you to the true Earth. Inhabitants of the false Earth."

The High Priestess then spoke to Salamandinay.

"You know them?"

"Of course I do. She is the rider of Villkiss who matched my Enryugo once before." Salamandinay told the High Priestess and Shrine Maidens and they were deeply shocked and concerned to learn this.

"The rider of Villkiss…"

"This woman is dangerous! We can't allow her to live!"

"We must dispose of her immediately!"

Ange smiles and shrugs to hear that and welcomes their challenge to execute her.

"Go ahead. I'm used to capital punishment. But first…I should warn you I won't go down without a fight." Ange told them and the council were left stunned by this.

"So…Do you think we should call her brave? Or completely crazy?" Dean asked.

"I say, crazy." Shin answered.

That's when they heard Salamandinay speaking to the Shrine Maidens.

"Shrine Maidens, please wait." Salamandinay walks down towards Ange and Tusk. "There is no one else alive who is able to pilot a Ragna-mail."

After arriving at the floor, Salamandinay turns to the council.

"Therefore until we can learn more, I believe it is wise to spare her. If it pleases you, then I will take responsibility for her and her companion." Salamandinay bowed her head.

The Shrine Maidens were whispering to one another until the High Priestess gestures for silence.

"Very well, Salamandinay. I shall entrust this matter to you." She told her.

"Thank you, your holiness." Salamandinay said.

"Guess she's the one picking up strays this time." Dean said.

"You must've rubbed off on her." Shin commented.

"I quite agree." Claire added.

"Can you not say it like that?" Dean said which caused his friends to chuckle.

They then watched as Salamandinay, Naga, and Kaname had brought Ange and Tusk to a room that was big enough for both of them, there was even a space for a tea ceremony.

As Ange and Tusk study the room, Salamandinay turns to her subordinates,

"Naga, Kaname, you may take your leave now." She told them.

"What?" Kaname said.

"But my lady…" Naga said.

A simple glance from Salamandinay was enough to force both of them to be silent. Naga and Kaname bowed their heads before they left the room and closed the door.

Dean mentally whistles to see that before he shakes his head.

'What are you thinking? Snap out of Dean!' Dean mentally scolded himself.

Despite Salamandinay having helped her avoid execution, Ange remained suspicious towards her.

"This is a pretty cozy prison cell." Ange said before Salamandinay turned to her.

"It may seem strange, but I do not intend to keep you prisoner." Salamandinay told them which was surprising to Ange and Tusk. "We are currently treating the Slyphis girl. You are free to visit her afterwards. Also in the meantime, we have taken it upon ourselves to repair your machinery. Now if you would both, please follow me, right this way."

Salamandinay along with Ange and Tusk sat on the mat for the tea ceremony.

Salamandinay uses the bamboo whisk to mix the tea to make a cup for Ange and Tusk as she places them in front of them.

"Isn't this nice?" Ange said.

"Please drink. You both must be very weary." Salamandinay said before she spoke to Tusk. "I don't believe I know your name yet."

"Oh, right. You can call me Tusk. I'm Ange's knight." Tusk introduced himself.

In the Hub, girls couldn't help but chuckle to hear that.

"Her knight, seriously?" Claire said.

"He can't be serious about that." Alisa said.

"True. It is very romantic in a sense. I feel somewhat jealous." Misty said.

"What? Are you saying I'm not good enough?" Aaron asks with a joking tone; Misty blushes and turns away from the Black Ranger and he blinks in confusion. "What's wrong?"

"N-Nothing…Nothing at all." Misty responded and Aaron was still confused.

"Oh, Aaron…" Claire sighed while shaking her head.

"As if Dean wasn't bad enough." Alisa sighed and shook her head as well.

"Hey!" Dean said.

"Can you please be quiet, so we could listen?" Shin told his friends before they all went back to watching.

"With all due respect, can I ask you something?" Tusk requested.

"But of course, Sir Tusk. Please feel free." Salamandinay said.

"You said…this is the true planet Earth?" Tusk asked.

"Yes."

"What does that make you guys? Humans or DRAGONs?"

"Humans. Of course." Salamandinay said.

"But as far as I know, we live on the planet Earth and we're the humans. So which is the real Earth?" Tusk asked in some confusion.

"What would you say if I told you, there are two Earths?" Salamandinay said, which surprised Ange and Tusk before she explained the full details. "Our Earth and your Earth exist in parallel universes. Long ago, a group of humans gave up on this planet and decided to migrate to your planet in the other dimension."

"They gave up on their planet. Is that true?" Tusk asked.

"I assume you would understand when you say the ruins. Surely you know how it happened." Salamandinay said.

"War and turmoil. Yeah, we did. We happened to see footage of it from a survivor shelter." Tusk said. Dean took a mental note to ask Tusk which shelter that was if they ever met in person.

"I think I understand it." Ange said before she took a sip from her tea. For some strange reason, the Rangers were a bit on edge right now when they saw the look in her eyes. "If this really is another Earth and if you can enter our world somehow…"

To Tusk's shock, including those in the Hub, Ange suddenly throws her cup to the wall to shatter it into pieces. She quickly grabs onto the largest piece with a sharp edge and quickly moves towards Salamandinay.

"Ange!" Tusk calls out.

Ange moved behind Salamandinay and brought her makeshift knife to her neck, but despite that, Salamandinay remained calm.

"Then there must be a way for us to go back!" Ange said.

The Rangers sweat drop to see that while Misty chuckles as she has a sense of deja vu.

"Think we should be worried?" Pixel asked, Dean shook his head.

"Nah, I'm sure Salamandinay still has this handled." The Red Ranger said.

"Guess I can't argue with that." Pixel said.

After hearing the shattering of the cup, both Naga and Kaname with their weapons in hand quickly entered the room and saw what was going on.

"The princess!" Naga said.

"Lady Salamandinay!" Kaname said.

"One more step and I'll slit her throat." Ange warned them.

"You barbarian! I knew we should've eliminated you from the start!" Naga said.

Kaname then moved towards Tusk to grab hold of him and brought the blade of her spear to his neck.

"Release her now! I swear I'll shred this man to pieces!" Kaname said and Tusk was deeply worried to hear that. Ange grits her teeth but refuses to yield.

"Go on and shred him, I don't care."

"What?!" Tusk said in shock.

"Do it. He said he'll die for me, so killing him won't do you any good." Ange told them.

"That wasn't what I…" Tusk said before Ange interrupted him.

"He'll be happy to. He told me that himself."

"Jeez. Way to show loyalty to your knight, princess." Claire said.

"And what if you were to go back?" Salamandinay asked, gaining Ange's attention. "What awaits you? A life of killing my brethren with your machine? Do you honestly miss that so much?"

Ange grits her teeth.

"Shut up!" Ange exclaimed.

"False humans. From a false Earth. Fighting a false battle. There is much that you do not know." Salamandinay told her and Ange grits her teeth once again.

Salamandinay picked up her sword as she stood back up.

"Now come along. I believe the truth will change your perspective." Salamandinay said before she walked to the door.

"Hey, wait!" Ange calls out as she quickly follows her.

Salamandinay stopped and spoke to her subordinates.

"Naga, Kaname, I would like you to stay here."

Both Naga and Kaname were shocked and concerned to hear that.

"What? Princess?" Kaname said before she lowered her spear from Tusk's neck.

"Are you certain my lady?" Naga asked.

Salamandinay nodded before she left the room with Ange following her.

"Wh-What happened to me taking you hostage?" Ange questions her.

"Have to say…That was really exciting." Dean said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"You can say that again. I thought my heart was about to explode." Claire said.

"But do you really think Salamandinay showing Ange the actual truth will really change her perspective?" Shin asked.

"Well…I suppose all we can do is wait and see what happens." Dean said.

"Fine. Guess I can't argue with that. But still, I highly doubt she'll let go of her trust issues given what we've seen so far." Shin said.

"Very true." Alisa said.

Before they can discuss this any further, they hear the alarm going off which only meant one thing to the Rangers and Pixel.

"Oh, no…don't tell me." Aaron said.

Pixel nodded as she types on the keyboard and brings out footage of the Kaiser Empire attacking.

"Yep. It's the Empire, they're attacking." Pixel said.

"Of all the worse timing…" Claire said.

"They didn't attack the city, did they?" Shin asked, Pixel shook her head.

"No. Thankfully, they're only attacking in a medium size village a few miles away from Ange and her friends." She told them.

"Good. Because the lost thing we need right now is an angry princess seeing an alien attack. Especially since she has a Ragna-mail under her command." Shin said.

"But either way, we need to settle this quickly before she hears about this." Dean told his team and they nodded in agreement.

The Nexus Rangers soon head to the transporter before Dean stops and speaks to Misty.

"Also, Misty, you better still be in here by the time we get back."

"Don't worry. I didn't have any intention of using this chance to see Angelise." Misty said while waving her hands.

"And I'll be sure to keep an eye on her if she does." Pixel said.

"Okay. Just as long as clear." Dean said before he stood on top of the transporter with his team.

The Nexus Rangers use it to transport out of the Hub and where the Empire is attacking.

Leading the legion of Xedroids was another Commander sent by Prince Crimson.

The Commander's body was mostly metallic with coral blades on his shoulders and arms while having barnacle-like cannons on his chest, waist and legs.

Thankfully most of the villagers were able to get away but the Xedroids continue their attack as the Commander laughs.

"Hahaha! God I love the fresh smell of destruction in the morning!"

"Stop right there!"

The Commander and the Xedroids looked and saw it was the Nexus Rangers as they arrived and faced them.

"Oh, so you're the Power Rangers. Been wondering when you show up. I'm Commander Coralnon!" The Commander introduced himself.

"Coralnon? Talk about a lame name." Claire said and that enrages Coralnon.

"Lame?! How dare you! I'll have you know my name alone strikes fear into everyone's heart, just like how I'll do it to you!" Coralnon said.

"Save your bad jokes for later! It's Morphin' Time!" Dean said before he and the other Nexus Rangers pressed the button to change the mode of their Morphers.

They soon brought out the Ranger Cards.

"Load Card!"

The Nexus Rangers load the Cards into their Morphers and press the button to morph.

"Access the Morphin Grid!"

The Nexus Rangers were standing on their platforms before they fired a beam from their Morphers to bring out the screens of their Ranger Forms and weapons.

Their platforms open as they jump down and change to their Ranger suits before they land on the ground and their helmets soon appear.

"Nexus Rangers…"

"We stand united!" They shouted and struck their team pose.

"Lame am I?! Let's see if you'll say that again when you face my signature Coral Bombs!" Coralnon said before he fired bombs at the Rangers with his cannons.

The Rangers were able to avoid the bombs as they exploded on the ground.

"Coral Bombs? Now that's even lamer." Claire commented.

"Then how about we show him how it's really done?" Dean said before he brought out his Weapons Card and the others nodded and did the same.

"Load Weapons Card!" The Nexus Rangers said before they load the Cards into their Morphers and soon brought forth their weapons.

The Nexus Rangers soon held their weapons and struck their poses.

"Nexus Racer Saber!"

"Nexus Wolf Lance!"

"Nexus Dozer Hammer!"

"Nexus Falcon Claws!"

"Nexus Chopper Bowgun!"

"Grr…attack!" Coralnon ordered the Xedroids and they charged at the Rangers to battle them and they did the same.

Claire is seen avoiding the Xedroids laser blasts using her jumping and acrobatic skills before she fires at them with her Bowgun.

Alisa attacks two Xedroids with her Claws before some of them surround the Yellow and attacks her at all sides, but the Yellow Ranger avoids their attacks by flying in the air with her wings in a spinning motion, she then lands on the ground and attacks the Xedroids while still spinning.

With a swing of his Hammer, Aaron sends three Xedroids flying before they fall to the ground. The Black Ranger then saw three more Xedroids charging at him, Aaron then raised his Hammer and swung it down to the ground creating a powerful shockwave which destroyed them as they exploded.

Shin attacks three Xedroids with his Lance, he then sees four of them attacking the Blue Ranger with laser blasts, using his wolf movement, Shin avoids their laser blasts and charges the Xedroids and attacks them with his Lance destroying them as they explode.

Dean slashed two charging Xedroids with his Saber and slashed one that was going to attack him from behind.

The Red Ranger then saw Coralnon charging at him to attack with his blades, and both the Red Ranger and the Empire's Commander clashed their blades several times before they brought their blades in a block and pushed each other back.

Coralnon then fires his cannons at Dean, and jumping to his aid were Shin and Aaron as they used their weapons to deflect the bombs as they exploded to the side which surprised Coralnon.

"What?! Impossible!" Coralnon said.

That's when Alisa and Claire jump over their friends, Claire attacks Coralnon with her Bowgun dealing him damage and Alisa flies in to attack the Commander with her Claws, forcing Coralnon to stumble back.

Alisa lands on the ground before the rest of the Nexus Rangers move towards her as they stand side-by-side while Coralnon glares at him and the remaining Xedroids move to his sides.

"Damn you…Don't think you're getting away with that!" Coralnon exclaimed.

"We weren't counting on it." Dean said before he and his team charged at Coralnon and the Xedroids to battle them once again.

In the Hub, both Pixel and Misty were watching the Rangers' battle against Coralnon and his legion of Xedroids.

"They're truly amazing, aren't they?" Pixel said.

"Yes. But I sometimes wish I could do more than watch. If the Prism chose me to do something, I doubt it's just stand by and watch." Misty said.

"Well, like Aaron told you, destiny doesn't happen overnight. You just need to be patient and see what happens." Pixel said. Misty sighed while rubbing a hand on her arm.

"I know…But it's still frustrating." Misty said.

Pixel hummed before she spoke to Misty.

"Then how do you think I feel?"

Misty blinks before she turns to the AI.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Well, Dean and the others did entrust me with surveillance along with maintaining the Hub and the Zords but at the end of the day, that's all I'm good for. I sometimes find it frustrating always being the one left behind while my friends fight in the front lines. Which is really saying something, because I'm the world's greatest artificial intelligence." Pixel said.

"Then how can you…?" Misty asked.

"Because what I do here matters. Because my friends trust me." Pixel answered before she explained. "I'm trusted to be the team's eyes and ears to keep watch for anything that happens. I mean, the Earth is always constantly in danger, so there's no telling what would happen behind their backs. Which is why they trust me to watch their backs. Because we have a saying here; one team, one mission and I'm a part of it."

"One team, one mission…" Misty said before she smiled. "Thank you, Pixel. I feel better now."

"Then I'm glad to be helpful." Pixel said with a smile.

Pixel then senses something was wrong, she brings out her keyboard and types on it.

"Is something wrong?" Misty asked.

"It's nothing. Looks like it's only a minor system glitch. I'm going to investigate and fix it. Can I trust you hold down the fort for me?" Pixel said, Misty nodded.

"Of course. One team, correct?" Misty said.

"And one mission." Pixel said before they both chuckle.

Pixel leaves the command room to where the glitch is from to repair it. Misty looks back at the Rangers' battle against Coralnon and manages to defeat most of the Xedroids. That's when something else caught her attention.

"She was stolen from us."

Misty looks back saw that the spycams spying on Salamandinay and Ange where they were now standing in the chamber where Aura used to live in. Misty figured that Salamandinay had told her former idol the truth about their world.

"By the same evil being who discovered Dracunium. Created the Ragna-mail. Annihilated the world and then abandoned it. The one called Embryo."

"Seriously?" Ange said in shock.

"Tell me, what powers your world? What makes it work?" Salamandinay questions her.

"What…The Light of Mana does."

"And where does that come from?"

"I was taught that the Light of Mana was unlimited. So…Oh my god…" Ange said as she put the pieces together after learning what Salamandinay had shown and told her.

"Your Light of Mana. Your utopia. Your perfect world. All of that is made possible by the Dracunium emitting by Aura. But despite what you've been told, the energy is not infinite. It must replenish. The need arose to supply Aura with even more crystallized Dracunium which they extracted from the corpses of my brethren."

Ange was left stunned by this and Misty could understand, even to this day, the truth of their world was still shocking to her. On how she and Ange were living a lie for most of their lives while others suffered because of one man.

"That is the true cause of which you had fought. Now you know the whole truth behind the mission of which you had risked your life." Salamandinay said. Ange was left shaken after learning about this.

"Oh, Angelise…" Misty said in sympathy for her.

"Lady Misty?"

Misty nearly jumped in shock before she looked and saw Sayla was in the room.

"Miss Sayla?! What are you doing here?" Misty asked as she eyed on the screen where Ange was speaking with Salamandinay.

"I was…hoping to have a moment to speak with you." Sayla said. She was about to approach Misty, but she quickly moved in and grabbed onto her shoulders to make her turn away from the computer screen. "Lady Misty?"

After seeing she was acting suspicious, Misty quickly removed her hands.

"Oh, don't mind me. So, what is it?" Misty asked.

"Well…I want to apologize to you. For my early behavior towards you." Sayla said.

"Apologize?" Misty blinked.

"Yes…When we first met, I acted out of fear. I was afraid you were here to take my daughter from me."

Misty then noticed that Ange and Salamandinay were speaking.

"My people are systematically killed to maintain your planet's energy. Their hearts are being harvested to collect more crystallized Dracunium."

Sayla blinks to hear that.

"Wasn't that Salamandinay?" Sayla said as she turned to the computer and Misty stood in front of her to block the live footage.

"Yes! She's…currently in a meeting right now!" Misty said.

"Then why…?" Sayla said.

"It's not important!" Misty shouted which caused Sayla to flinch, Misty blushes before she coughs in her hand. "Also, you have no reason to apologize. Dean told me about what happened to you and your daughter in Misurugi. If anything, you had every right to be cautious towards me."

"I see." Sayla said.

Sayla eyed the computer and saw that the Rangers were fighting right now. No doubt both the Rangers and Salamandinay were having their troubles right. Best that she should stay out of it for now.

"But still, I acted without knowing your own circumstances. I know you were confused as I was when I arrived in this world, and there was also the matter of what happened between you and your family. I shouldn't have acted like that." Sayla said.

"It's fine. We both had troubles. But maybe we should discuss this…" Misty said before they both heard a familiar voice from the computer.

"Sure, I do. Because even if everything you say turns out to be true, it's still my home world."

"I see. Then I will have to stop you. After all, if I allow you to leave, you will only kill more of my allies."

"I dare you to get in my way. If you think I'll take this lying down…"

Misty flinches and Sayla blinks, the manner of speaking was different, but that voice sounded very familiar to her.

"That voice…" Sayla said before she moved closer to the computer.

"Wait, Miss Sayla!" Misty said.

Sayla then saw Salamandinay combating Ange where she used her tell to knock her makeshift knife out of her hand and soon brought out her wings ready for battle.

Sayla then saw Ange assuming her stance ready to fight as well, and her face was very familiar to her, but she refused to believe it.

"Her face…No, it couldn't be…" Sayla said.

"I know this was a trap! You damn lizard!" Ange charges at Salamandinay and throws a punch at her.

Salamandinay avoids her punch as she moves behind Ange and grabs onto her wrist and arm to retrain her.

"Do not force me to kill you. Unlike the barbarians of your world, my people do not take pleasure in pain or violence." Salamandinay told her but Ange wasn't convinced by that.

"Then what about the time you nearly destroyed Arzenal?!" Ange questions her before she pulls herself free and attacks Salamandinay, she avoids it by jumping back.

"That was an activation test for the Ryuu-Shin-Ki. I didn't want to use the Discord Phasers, but I had my orders. We couldn't afford to let you and the Norma interfere in our mission to free Aura any longer."

"Did you know how many died during that attack?" Ange said before she charged at Salamandinay to punch her.

"I will not repent." Salamandinay avoids it and flies above the ground. "It was necessary for my people. If our roles were reversed and if you found yourself in a similar situation, can you say you had chosen differently. Princess Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi."

Ange was surprised that she knew her true name, but Sayla was even more shocked by this as her eyes widened.

"An-Angelise?" Sayla said before she looked closely at Ange's face and saw the image of her former self being in her place as it disappeared showing her present self.

"Sayla…" Misty said in some worry.

Pixel soon returns to the command room.

"Done fixing the glitch. So what's happening…?" Pixel said before she saw Sayla was in the room and was staring at the video of Ange and Salamandinay and the Hub's AI was deeply worried right now. "Oh dear…"

As his friends were fighting the Xedroids, Dean was clashing blades with Coralnon before they brought their blades in a lock. They were on even ground before they both heard Dean's Morpher ringing.

"Now's not a good time for a phone call!" Dean said.

Coralnon uses that chance to push the Red Ranger back and fires his cannons at him which knocks his Saber out his hand and is sent rolling on the ground.

Dean groans as his Morpher continues to ring before he stands back up.

"Oh screw it…" Dean answered the call and Pixel soon appeared on screen.

"Dean! We have a problem!"

"Pix! Now is not a good time!" Dean said as he avoided some Xedroids' attacks and kicked two of them and punched one on the face.

"I know, but it's urgent. Sayla, she knows that Ange is here!" Pixel told him. Dean was shocked by this before he looked at her.

"What?" Dean said before he avoided an incoming attack from a Xedroid. "How?"

"I left the command room for a moment. When I came back, Sayla was there and saw Ange in the screen." Pixel said.

The other Nexus Rangers heard that as well.

"Now that's just perfect timing." Shin said before he avoids one Xedroid's attack from behind.

Dean then sees Coralnon charging at him and attacks with his blades, Dean avoids his attacks before he grabs onto his arm and brings the Kaiser Commander to a submission hold. The Red Ranger uses this chance to ask Pixel a question.

"Then please tell me Sayla didn't do what I think she did?"

"If you mean storming out of the Hub and going after Ange? Then yes, she did. I'm sorry, I tried to stop her, but…" Pixel said.

"It's fine, Pix. If anything, Claire was right. We shouldn't have kept this from her." Dean said before he threw Coralnon to the ground.

Claire heard after firing upon some Xedroids and spoke to her cousin.

"See? I told you so!" Claire said before she avoids some laser blasts from another group of Xedroids.

"Can we save that for later?" Dean asked.

"And how about you pay more attention to me?!" Coralnon said as he stood up and attacked Dean with his blades and it was too late for him to dodge it.

That's when Alisa came to his aid as she flew in and blocked Coralnon's blades with her Claws.

"Go, Dean! We can handle this. You need to go after Sayla." She told him.

"What? But I can't leave you guys." Dean protested.

"Don't worry, it's fine." Aaron said as he attacks several Xedroids with his Hammer. "Right now, someone needs to stop Sayla from making a mistake."

"And if anyone can do that, it's you." Shin said as he attacks several Xedroids with his Lance.

"So stop arguing about it and go!" Alisa said as she pushed Coralnon's blades back and jumped to land a double kick on his chest and the Kaiser Commander was forced to stumble back.

"You guys…" Dean said before he shook his head. "Honestly, how can I say no after hearing all of that? Pixel, get the transporter ready and send me to Sayla's location."

"You got it." Pixel nodded.

Dean soon teleports out of the area to chase after Sayla.

"What? Where is he heading?" Coralnon said in confusion to see the Red Ranger leaving.

"Dean has to handle a little issue right now." Alisa said before the other Nexus Rangers moved to her side after destroying the remaining Xedroids.

"So, you'll have to settle with us. Let's go!" Shin said before he and the Nexus Rangers charge at Coralnon to battle him.

(Meanwhile)

After their discussion turns into a fight, Ange soon learns how Riza Randog, the captain of the guard and the personal bodyguard and mistress of her brother Julio, was actually a Child of Aura named Lizardia.

After confirming that she was indeed a spy sent by the leaders of the true Earth, Ange becomes enraged thinking they were the ones who took everything from her and was responsible for her mother's death.

When attacks Salamandinay in blind rage, the Princess of the Freyja easily used Ange's rage to her advantage to throw to the ground and brought her leg to her throat to knock the air out of her.

Ange tried to break free, but Salamandinay eventually won the battle as she passed out.

Ange found herself sleeping in a bed while groaning as the memory was still fresh in her mind.

"Wipe that smug look on your face!"

"Umm…sorry." Said Tusk.

Ange opened her eyes and saw she was in the apartment room where she and Tusk sleep in.

Ange studied her surroundings and saw that Tusk had made a fresh pot of coffee and poured a cup for both of them.

Ange sat up while covering herself with the blanket and Tusk with the cups in hand walked to her.

"What happened? Was it a bad dream?" Tusk asked.

"Yeah…I got my ass kicked." Ange told him before Tusk sat down and gave her the cup.

"Really? By who?" Tusk asked before he drank from his cup.

"A slimming disgusting power-tripping reptile." Ange explained.

"Let me guess…" Ange turns to Tusk but sees he was replaced by Salamandinay who turns to her and closely looks at her.

"Does that prefer to me?!"

Ange quickly woke from her dream which turned into a nightmare as she sat up from a bed while screaming. That's when she heard a familiar voice crying out in shock before she and Ange sighed.

"Jeez…You really scared me there."

Ange turned and saw it was Vivian, now back in her human form and was wearing the clothes of the people in this world.

"Huh? Vivian?"

"In the flesh." Vivian greeted her.

"Wait a sec…I thought you were stuck as a DRAGON?" Ange said.

"Okay. Here's a pop quiz, how did Vivian get back her adorable human body?"

"Huh?" Ange said. Vivian crossed her arms while making a buzzing sound.

"Too bad. The answer is…umm…I forgot." Vivian said before she turned to Dr. Gecko who approached them.

"I made adjustments to your genotype D control factor. Now you can stay in your human form indefinitely without external medication." She explained to them.

"Yeah, what she said." Vivian said even if she didn't understand it.

"Are you in pain?" Dr. Gecko spoke to Ange.

Ange checked and didn't feel any serious injury.

"Not really…" She answered

"Glad to hear it. It appears Lady Salamandinay went easy on you." Dr. Gecko stated.

"You call that easy?" Ange questions that logic.

"Tusk was freaking out over you. He wouldn't stop asking about you." Vivian told her.

"Really? Wait, where is Tusk?" Ange said as her knight was nowhere to be seen.

"Oh, don't worry about him. We're…" Dr. Gecko said before they heard a knock on the door. "Hold on. I'll see who that is?"

Dr. Gecko opens the door but sees a cloak woman standing in the hallway with a hood covering her face.

"Who are…?" Dr. Gecko said.

The cloaked stranger pushed Dr. Gecko aside and charges at Ange, she soon pulls out a knife with the attempt to kill her with it.

While Vivian was surprised by this, Ange quickly avoids it as her knife stabs into the bed.

The cloaked stranger grits her teeth and glares at Ange before she pulls her knife out and Ange is ready to fight her.

"I should've known this would happen. Did that lizard princess send you to assassinate me?" Ange questions her.

"You misunderstand. I'm not a child of Aura and I wasn't sent by anyone." She told her and Ange blinks in confusion.

"What? Then who are…?" Ange said.

The cloaked stranger answers that question by removing her hood and revealing herself as Sayla, the mother of the first Norma that Ange saw. Ange quickly recognized and was surprised to see her.

"It's you…" She said.

"So you remember me…I'm touched. Because…" Sayla shakenly held the knife with hands while having a crazed smile on her face. "There hasn't been a day where I haven't forgotten you! How you let those bastards take my daughter from me! After saying I should replace her!"

Sayla then pointed her knife at Ange.

"Now you have to understand why I have to kill you!" Sayla said.

Vivian bravely stood in front of Sayla to protect Ange.

"Look lady, I don't understand what's going on, but you're not hurting Ange!" Vivian told her.

"Stand aside, girl. I don't want to hurt you, but if you stand in my way…" Sayla warned her.

Ange looks at Sayla, with her training, she could easily subdue her but strangely she chooses not to. She then remembers when they first met and the words she told her.

"Humankind has evolved to gain the Light of Mana. But Norma rejects it to live on their own strength. They are violent, coldblooded monsters. Therefore, they must be purged from this world immediately."

"I beg of you…Lady Angelise…I can raise her not to be a monster!" She pleaded to the princess, but Angelise sadly looked at her.

"You cannot. A Norma is not a human being."

"Rid your memory of this creature. And bear your second child. An acceptable daughter who isn't a Norma."

She then remembers her first days living in Arzenal, the day when Coco, Miranda and Zola died because of her actions and where she was forced to carry her tombstones. Where spoke to Commander Jill and Jasmine.

(Flashback)

"What am I supposed to do now? I do not understand any of this." Ange said.

"Just keep destroying the DRAGONs. Nothing else." Jill told her.

"What are those terrible creatures? And why am I forced to fight them?" Ange said.

"Weren't you listening to the teacher? We lived to kill the DRAGONs. The Norma can only exist in this world as DRAGON slaying machines." Jill coldly reminded her.

"Besides you're the princess. You should be honored to risk your life to keep their world safe." Jasmine told her.

"Their world?"

"Why do you think that the world of Mana gets to live in peace? It's because our Norma girls keep the DRAGONs out of it." Jasmine explained.

"What?"

"Humans take their peace for granted. They don't have a clue that the Norma are dying to make it happen." Jill told her.

"But none of that has anything to do with me?"

"I think you'll change your mind." Jill stated.

"I never will! I told you I'm not a Norma!"

Jill brought out a pen that belonged to Inspector Emma.

"This is the inspector's pen. Try to use it with Mana."

After being given the pen, Ange tried to accomplish that task.

"Hear me, Light of Mana. Hear me, Light of Mana!" Ange calls out but not surprising to Jill and Jasmine, she couldn't summon it.

With tears in her eyes, Ange falls into despair.

"But why…?" Ange mutters before she falls on her knees. "I can use it…for some reason, it simply refuses to work at the moment…I promise you! There is no reason for you to imprison me in this hellish place! This isn't fair at all!"

"But you were the ones who made those rules. You come here because your people decided that the world should be this way." Jill stated and deep-down Ange knows that she's right and right now, she's experiencing the same hardship that Sayla went through because of her.

Ange then remembers when she escape Arzenal to rescue her sister, but only to find it was a trap along with being betrayed by people who were once her friends.

Ange reunited with her old teammate Akiho who was shocked but deeply afraid to see her.

"Long time no see, Akio."

"L-Lady Angelise…?" Akiho said before Ange approached her.

"Still working on the machines? You always did work late."

"N-No…I mean, yes…" Akio steps back. "Y-You cut your hair…I-It looks nice on you."

Akiho's fear eventually overwhelms her as she falls on her rear with her hands on her head.

"No! Please don't kill me!"

"Akiho…Are you actually afraid I would kill you?"

"No…"

"Do you think Norma are nothing but dangerous evil monsters, just like everyone else does?"

"No…I swear!"

"I might be a Norma but I'm still me. I'm the same person. I don't mean you any harm, okay. I'm your friend. So why would I want to hurt you?"

Akiho looks at Ange in shock.

"Y-You're my friend…I mean yes of course you are." Akiho said with a forceful smile.

"Akiho, will you do me a favor?"

"Umm…sure." Akiho said.

"Don't tell anyone that I'm here. Forget you saw me."

"Y-Yeah. I could do that. It's no problem. Our secret."

When Ange and Momoka checked out an Iaria hovercraft, Akiho was able to send an emergency call to the police and Ange quickly saw that but wasn't surprised by this.

"I knew it. You're just like the others."

"Stay away from me! You monster!"

Then fast forward where she reunited with her sister, Sylvia, only for her to attack with a knife.

"Sylvia…why?"

"How dare you speak my name…Never again will you be any sister of mine. Norma scum!"

That's when her brother Julio appeared next.

"Now…shall we begin your punishment, Angelise. You're under arrest for being a Norma."

Then after that, Ange was restrained with chains on her wrists and was hanging on a stage with a gallow behind her. There Sylvia begins to attack her with a whip where a large audience watches and enjoys seeing her suffer.

"For the crime of making me fall off my horse! For the crime of crippling me! And finally…for the crime of being born!"

The people watching cheered seeing Ange suffer.

Ange's loyal maid, Momoka spoke out pleading to Sylvia to stop this.

"Please stop this! I can't abide this terrible cruelty! Lady Sylvia, please!"

"Cruelty? Cruelty indeed. This revolting, sociopathic monster was once my sister and I once loved her like she actually was. There is no greater cruelty…than what she did! Apologize, Norma! Beg my forgiveness for being what you are!"

What's when Ange's former friends from school also spoke.

"Make her apologize to everyone!"

"I agree. Apologize for ruining our lives!"

Julio then steps forward to speak to his people.

"The royal bloodline has been corrupted by this Norma! But by convicting Angelise will complete the purification of our family! Tonight, this nation will begin a new era! As the Holy Misurugi Empire! Such by the decree of Holy Emperor Julio I! I will now sentence this Norma to death!"

On Julio's orders, the guards begin escorting Ange to the gallows to hang her.

"Hahaha! Pathetic!" Akiho laughs.

"You deserve to die for deceiving us!"

Ange took a moment to stop and question the angry mob who wanted her dead.

"Why am I being executed for something that was out of my control? What did I do?!" She turns to the mob and Ahiko throws an at her head.

"Shut up, Norma! You think I forgot what you did to me!"

"I just gave you a little kick and tied you up! Give me a break!" Ange exclaimed at her.

"Little? You assaulted me!" Ahiko cries as she falls on her knees and her friends quickly knelt down to comfort her.

"I don't deserve to be killed for that."

"Not if you're a human being!"

"You're a Norma! It's only fair!"

"You offended the whole empire because you're a Norma. You're better off dead!"

"So you think you can slaughter me like a cow?! You're insane!"

"Norma are the blame for everything that's wrong in this world!"

"If Emperor Julio wants to execute you then you should be executed!"

"That's right! We want to see you pay!"

"Just kill her already!"

Momoka spoke to the mob to defend Ange.

"It's not her fault! Lady Angelise never did anything to anyone! In fact, being with her brings me nothing but joy!"

"Hang her up…" Ahiko said as she stood up and clapped her hands. "Hang her up. Hang her up!"

The others joined her as they clapped and repeated her.

"Hang her up! Hang her up! Hang her up!"

"But why? Why would you be so cruel to her?" Momoka said with tears in her eyes.

"Momoka…Thanks a lot." Ange said before she remembers the friends she made in Arzenal. 'You and the people of Arzenal were the only ones who accepted me for who I am. Whether I was human or not.'

Ange angrily glares at the mob who chants for her death.

'Unlike them. So these are the righteous, peaceful citizens of the Misurugi Empire? They're pigs. Every single one of them. They're nothing by ignorant, ugly, hateful pigs. Is this the humanity that Norma like me are supposed to protect?'

(End of flashback)

But this time it was different, unlike the people in that time, Sayla has a justful and rightful reason to hate her. Not because she was a Norma, but because she allowed her daughter to be taken just for being a Norma like her.

Ange placed a hand on Vivian's shoulder, and she turned to her with Ange smiling at her.

"Don't, Vivian. I appreciate the thought, but you shouldn't interfere." Ange said.

"But, Ange…" Vivian said.

Ange gently pushed her aside and stood in front of Sayla.

"If you want to kill me, then do it already. But know this, I won't die so easily." Ange told her. Sayla grins.

"We'll see about that!" Sayla charges at her and attacks her with the knife.

While Vivian watches in worry, Ange closes her ready for her…But then a red glove catches the knife stopping Sayla's attempt to kill her.

Ange opens her eyes and to her shock, it was the Red Nexus Power Ranger.

"You again?" Ange said.

Sayla looks at Dean in shock.

"Dean?" Sayla said.

The Red Ranger then took off his helmet as it fell to the ground and Dean freely looked Sayla in the eye with his own.

"Sayla, don't do this." Dean told her.

"Don't you dare stop me, Dean! She needs to die for what she did to me!" Sayla said as she tried to pull her knife out.

"JUST SHUT UP!" Dean shouted at her and Sayla was stunned into silence. "You need to snap out of this! You're better than this and you know it!"

"Why are you even defending her?" Sayla asked.

"I'm not defending her. I'm protecting you." Dean answered.

"What?"

"If you do this, then how are you any different from the others in Embryo's world? Once you cross that line, there's no uncrossing it. The guilt and the blood on your hands will remain with you forever." Dean told her.

"B-But I…" Sayla looks at Ange before Dean places a hand on her shoulder.

"Sayla, you prove yourself that you're more than Embryo's doll. You've shown your courage and love more times than I can count. Don't throw it all away for vengeance." Dean told her before he let go of the knife.

His words started to affect Sayla before she lowered her head. Dean then added one more thing.

"Also you should know that she's also a Norma, like Serra and Carole. Can you even hold your daughter in your arms or even look Carole in the eye, knowing that fact?"

Now deeply shaken by this, Sayla's memories flashed in her mind. When her daughter was born and saw her smiling face. How she befriended Carole and promised to treat her like family.

Overwhelmed by these thoughts, Sayla lets go of the knife as it falls to the floor and she falls on her knees, she then looks at her hands in horror.

"Dear god…what have I…?" Sayla said as tears began to appear in her eyes.

Dean knelt down to her with his hands on her shoulders.

"Don't worry. It's fine…"

Sayla grabs onto the Red Ranger's arms as she continues to cry.

"Dean…I…I…"

"Hey, hey, it's okay. I understand." Dean told her.

While Vivian looks at them in confusion, Ange was surprised he was able to reason with her.

That's when Naga and Kaname had arrived as they entered the room.

"Sir Dean!" Naga calls out.

"Oh, hey. Did Pixel contact you?" Dean asked. Kaname nodded.

"She did." Kaname said before she studies the room and everyone in it. "I suppose you were able to handle the matter?"

"Yeah. Can you take her back to the Hub for me?" Dean requested and they nodded.

"Yes of course." Kaname said before she and Naga helped Sayla stand up to bring her out of the room.

After that, Dean turns to Ange and Vivian while Ange looks at him with suspicion, Vivian looks at the Red Ranger in curiosity. Dean nervously chuckled and waved at them.

"Hey, there. We meet again." Dean greeted her.

"Yeah, no reason to point that out. Now care to explain who or what you are?" Ange questions him.

"Well…That's a bit of a long story." Dean said while rubbing the back of his head.

Dean then heard his Morpher ringing before he looked at it. The Red Ranger quickly picks up his helmet and puts it on.

"But I'll have to explain later. Right now, my team needs me." Dean said before he teleports out of the building much to Ange and Vivian's surprise.

"Wow! That was so cool! How did he do that?" Vivian said in amazement.

"Don't ask me…" Ange sighed. "Honestly, today's been nothing but trouble."

But only to add more fuel to her stress, she heard Tusk's voice.

"HELP ME!" He cries out.

Ange and Vivian were surprised to hear that. They quickly leave the room and enter the one in front of it.

They soon saw that Tusk was restrained to a bed with a large group of DRAGON girls surrounding him with smiles and red cheeks.

"Don't touch me there! Knock it off! Let go of me! Hey! That is not a good place to touch!"

"Oh, no." Ange quickly dashes to Tusk while pushing the excited girls out of her way. "What are you doing to him?"

One of the girls she pushed aside knocked on a table which made some of the bottles fall to the ground.

"Oh crap!" Tusk said in worry.

"Tusk! I'll save you!" Ange said before she stepped on a bottle and fell on top of Tusk and Tusk cried out as she landed on something that was a soft spot to him.

Ange stood up with her tongue after it touched something bitter.

"What was that?" Ange then blushes after seeing that Tusk was completely naked. "Wait, what…Wh-Why are you naked? What's going on here?"

Vivian moves to Ange's side to give Tusk a thumbs up.

"Hey, you're not bad!" Vivian said.

"Look, Ange…I can explain…" Tusk said before Dr. Gecko moved to his side.

"You've been quite a big help. Huge actually." Dr. Gecko then rubs Tusk's cheek. "Sir Dean and his male comrades often denied us the chance to examine their bodies. So this is very enlightening for sexual studies. Thank you."

Ange was even more shocked by this as the memory of Sayla attacking instantly went to the back of her mind.

"Sexual studies? He's been helping you?" Ange asked.

"Yes." Dr. Gecko nodded.

Ange evilly smiles at Tusk.

"Really? And while I was getting beat up and nearly killed, you were having fun." Ange said before she knelt down to pick up a feather duster and a pair of tongs. "That's nice."

"A-Ange please! Just calm down!"

Ange narrowed her eyes at him.

"You dirty animal!" Ange shouted and the sound of Tusk crying out with some laughter echoes throughout the temple.

In their battle against Coralnon, the four Nexus Rangers begin to attack the Commander one at a time using their weapons.

Claire begins by firing her Bowgun, landing some good shots on him.

Shin follows by skillfully landing some slashes with his Lance and Coralnon stumbles back. Shin spreads out his arms and Aaron jumps onto one of them and jumps towards Coralnon.

Aaron lands a powerful slam on Coralnon's chest followed by another strong swing, sending the Commander flying high above the air.

Alisa follows with her flying abilities and attacks Coralnon with her Claws and lands a kick on him to send the Commander crashing on the ground.

Coralnon groans as he slowly stands back up.

"This won't…stop me…!" Coralnon stated.

The Yellow Ranger landed on the ground before she dismissed her Claws and the other Rangers did the same as they stood side-by-side.

"We'll see about that." Shin said before he and the others brought out their Blasters and SuperCharge Cards." Load SuperCharge Cards!"

"Load Card!"

The Nexus Rangers load the SuperCharge Cards into their Blasters and aim them at Coralnon as they charge with energy. They soon fired their finishing attack at Coralnon and destroyed him as he exploded.

"And score another win for the good guys." Shin said as he twirled his Blaster.

That's when they saw that Dean had returned and saw that Coralnon was already defeated.

"Don't tell me you did the finisher without me?" Dean said.

"Yeah, we did. Sorry about that." Claire said.

"I'm a bit hurt now…" Dean said as he sniffled for a bit.

"Hey, don't be a baby about it." Claire told him as she lightly punched his arm.

"Anyway, how did things go with Sayla?" Alisa asked.

"Well…I was able to talk her out of it. But she's still shaken up." Dean said.

"That's to be expected. But I guess the exiled princess saw you too?" Shin asked.

"Yep." Dean sighed while shaking his head. "Here I was hoping we would avoid showing ourselves to her."

"But that's to be expected. I mean, our lives and our world is anything but normal." Aaron pointed out.

"Touche." Dean said before they chuckle together.

(Meanwhile)

In the Kaiser Sphere, Prince Crimson could only slam his hand in frustration after watching Coralnon's defeat by the Nexus Rangers.

"Damn it! After all of his boasting the Rangers still defeated him like the rest! Be thankful I'm giving you another chance…Cyber!" Prince Crimson calls out.

"I'm on it, Your Highness. Activating Kaiser Reanimator." Cyber said as he activated the Reanimator, and it fired a beam to Coralnon's remains.

After the beam made contact, Coralnon revived into a giant as he looked at the Nexus Rangers.

"Hahaha! Guess who's back?!" The giant Coralnon shouted.

The Nexus Rangers look up at the giant Commander.

"At least you didn't miss this part." Aaron said.

"And yet, somehow I'm not glad about that." Dean said before he turned to Shin. "Hey, Shin, you want to do some hunting?"

"Of course!" Shin nodded.

"Alright!"

Both Dean and Shin brought out the Zord Cards and loaded them into their Morphers.

"Load Card!"

"Deploy, Nexus Racer Zord!"

"Deploy, Nexus Wolf Zord!"

Dean then brought out the Wolf Formation Card for the Nexus Megazord and loaded it into his Morpher.

"Load Megazord Card! Initiate, Wolf Formation!"

(Megazord Sequence)

After they appeared, both the Racer and Wolf Zords combined to form the Megazord in Wolf Formation.

The Rangers soon appeared in the cockpit and attached their Morphers to their platforms.

"Access Controls!"

"Nexus Megazord - Wolf Formation!"

(End of sequence)

The Nexus Megazord faced the giant Coralnon.

"Oh, look at that! So the big bad wolf wants to play?! Then take this! My powerful Coral Bombs!" Coralnon shouted before firing his bombs at the Megazord.

Using its enhanced speed, the Nexus Megazord avoided his bombs and Coralnon was surprised by that.

"What?!" The giant Commander said in shock.

The Megazord then circles around Coralnon and fires its blaster at him, dealing the Commander damage.

"Ow! Ow! Why you…take this!" Coralnon fired his cannons while moving around in the attempt to land a hit to the fast Megazord.

But the Nexus Megazord avoids it by jumping into the air and fires its blaster at the giant Commander as it lands on the ground.

Coralnon roars in frustration before he charges at the Nexus Megazord to attack it with his blades and the Megazord avoids it using its fast speed.

The Megazord then lands a flying kick on Coralnon's head followed by another kick along with some wolf punches.

Coralnon soon becomes dizzy as he can see stars while his entire world is spinning.

"Ooohhh…stars…" He mutters before the Megazord stops in front of him from a distance.

"Time to finish this! Super Nexus Blaster!" Dean calls out and the Blaster appears as he grabs onto it.

Dean readies and aims the Blaster while the others bring out and aim their Blasters at Coralnon.

"Nexus Megazord, Double Wolf Blast!" The Rangers said before they fired their Blasters.

The Nexus Megazord fired its finishing attack at Coralnon and after it landed onto him, sparks appeared on his body.

"Come on…I really wanted to win here!" Coralnon said before he fell to the ground and exploded.

The Nexus Megazord strikes its victory pose.

"Never underestimate humans!"

After the Rangers once again defeat Coralnon, Prince Crimson slams his first on his throne's armrest.

"Damn it…Time and again the Rangers continue to make a mockery of me!" Prince Crimson exclaimed.

"Your Highness…" General Swartz said in some worry and concern.

"Putting the prince's frustration aside, I quite agree. We must find a way to truly gain the upperhand against them." Cyber said.

"Then it's a good thing that I'm here." Said an unknown which surprised the prince and his subordinates.

They quickly turned to the door as it opened and the intruder entered the room, and to their shock it was the White Nexus Power Ranger, Kurt.

"You?! You're that White Ranger! How did you get in here!" Prince Crimson as he stood up and Swartz brought out his sword ready to fight him.

Kurt raised his hands.

"Please, all of you just calm down. I'm not here to fight or cause any trouble. I only want to talk to you, if you're willing to listen of course."

Prince Crimson thought about it, while he wasn't sure whether to trust the evil White Ranger or not, it was clear when he first arrived and battled the Red Ranger, he was no ally to the other Rangers.

"Very well. You may speak." Prince Crimson gestures to Swartz to stand down and the general complies as he puts away his sword.

"Good. Now that we have that covered." Kurt said before he demorphs, showing his true face and appearance. "My name is Kurt. Kurt Summers. How I got here is a bit of a trade secret. But I'm here serving as an envoy for my master, Embryo. And I believe I can help with your little…Ranger problem."

"Oohh? You don't say?" Prince Crimson said and intrigued by this; the prince sat down on his throne. "Very well. You've earned my attention now. Tell me about yourself and your master…and the other dimension you came from."

Kurt smirks.

"Guess I shouldn't be surprised you know about that. Now where to start…" Kurt said before he explained the minor details about himself and his master.

(Later)

After satisfying herself by punishing Tusk, Ange and Vivian were now standing outside and standing close to a stone water basin.

Ange used to wash her hands and rinse out her mouth before spitting it out.

"You're not mad anymore, right?" Vivian asked before she handed Ange a towel.

Ange used to dry her hands and wipe on her mouth.

"That was so gross. Guess that pervert was desperate enough to bang a lizard." Ange said before she threw the towel on the ground.

That's when they heard someone chuckling.

"Guess you had another problem to deal with."

Both Ange and Vivian looked and saw it was Dean as he approached them with his friends. Ange narrows her eyes to see him again.

"Great, you again…" Ange said before he looked at the other Nexus Rangers. "I suppose this is your team?"

"Pretty much." Dean said before he reached out his hand for a shake. "I should introduce myself. My name is Dean. Dean Reilly."

Ange once again narrows her eyes at the Red Ranger before he pulls back his hand.

"Okay…Guess you're not much of a handshaker. In any case, these are my friends, Shin, Aaron, Alisa and Claire." Dean introduced his friends to her and Vivian with Claire waving at them and Vivian waved back.

"A pleasure. But now care to explain about your whole story?" Ange questions him and the others.

"Jeez…She really does have trust issues." Claire said.

"Though that's to be expected after everything she's been through." Shin said.

"Like I said, that's a bit of a long story but we'll explain tomorrow." Dean said.

Ange clicks her tongue before she folded her arms and turned away from him.

"Fine. It's not like I care either way." Ange stated.

"But…I still like to use the chance to do this." Dean earned Ange's attention.

Dean bowed his head to Ange.

"I want to apologize for what Sayla did. We were busy with something, and didn't keep a better watch over her. So…I'm sorry." Dean said.

Ange clicks her tongue.

"I don't need your apology. Besides, it's like she's the only one who hates me." Ange told him. The Red Ranger raises his head.

"But even so…" Dean said before they heard a familiar voice.

"Oh, I see you've become acquainted with Dean and the others." Said Salamandinay as she arrived with Kaname, Naga and Lamia.

Ange glares at the DRAGON Princess while the Rangers are confused to see that Lamia was with her.

"Lamia?" Claire said.

"What is she…?" Shin said before he looked at Vivian and saw the resemblance between her and Lamia. "Wait, is it possible…?"

Salamandinay confirmed the Blue Ranger's deduction by speaking Lamia.

"Lamia, this is she. We thoroughly analyzed the DNA. She is without a doubt one of the missing children of the Slyphis Clan. She is your long-lost daughter, your child has returned to you."

Ange was surprised by this as she turns to Vivian who was a bit confused.

The Nexus Rangers were also surprised by this as they looked at Vivian. That's when Aaron remembers her when they infiltrated the Arzenal in Embryo's world, where she had followed him via his scent and remembers seeing Lamia's during Windfall's attack and thought she looked familiar.

'Oh…That explains a lot now.' The Black Ranger thought to himself.

"Mii? Is it really you?" Lamia quickly runs to Vivian to hug her with tears of joy in her eyes. "Mii…"

"Whoa there, lady. It's Vivian alright…" Vivian said before she notices something familiar about her scent and sniffs at her some more. "Hey, hold on…That's funny, you smell like Ersha. Who are you?"

Lamia looks at her daughter in the face while chuckling.

"I'm your mother." She told her.

"Your mother? Huh? That's your name?" Vivian asked.

Despite what she said, both Naga and Kaname were a bit emotional seeing Lamia's reunion with her daughter. Dean, Shin and Aaron smile while Claire and Alisa were a bit teary with the Yellow Ranger turning away from them.

Salamandinay then spoke to Vivian.

"She is the woman who gave birth to you."

"She's really Vivian's mom?" Ange questions her.

"Yes." Salamandinay nodded. "Mii or Vivian as you called must've wandered into the other Earth after sensing Aura's energy. I'm still surprised she's still alive."

"Something tells me we have Arzenal to thank for that." Shin said. "The leading officers there must've found her and raised her to be a Norma. That beats the alternative of the people there killing her."

"I suppose that's true." Salamandinay said before she spoke to her subordinates. "Naga, Kaname, prepare for a festival. We must rejoice. After ten years, one of our own has returned."

Night had arrived in the town and a large group of the townspeople had gathered in front of the Tower of Aura. While Ange and the Rangers were standing among the townspeople, Salamandinay along with Lamia, Vivian and some maidens stood in front of them as they along with the people were each holding a lantern.

"It's Lady Salamandinay!"

"She's so beautiful!"

Vivian then spoke to her mother.

"What am I supposed to do?"

"Watch Lady Salamandinay and do what she does." Lamia explained.

"Children of Aura. Through many moons we suffer and though we lost many of our siblings, today we celebrate our sister's return. Let us give thanks." Salamandinay tossed the lantern in her hand upwards as it flew into the sky and the others did the same along with Vivian and Lamia. "Aura!"

"Aura!"

The Rangers smile in awe as they watch, even Ange couldn't help but admire it.

"That's a sight, huh." Said Tusk as he approaches Ange and she turns to him, but she only gave him a scowl. "You're still mad at me? But I swear, I didn't do anything. My heart is yours, you know that."

Ange turns away from him.

"They weren't grabbing your heart." Ange stated.

"Well…True, but…" Tusk lowered his head in some shame. Ange turns back to him.

"You goof." Ange said before she smiles and chuckles and Tusk soon joins her.

They then watch the lanterns flying towards the sky. Tusk then looks at the full moon.

"The same moon." He said.

"Huh?" Ange turns to him.

"But it's a different world. I still can't believe it." Tusk said.

"Yeah. I'm still not sure if this is real or a dream." Ange said before she looks at Vivian as she talks to her mother, Ange smiles to see that. "But still, I'm glad."

Tusk turns to her before she explains.

"For Vivian. She's human." Ange said and Tusk nodded in agreement. But now she's in deep thought about their current situation. "But what's going to happen? What's their plan? Is there some reason they wanted us to see this?"

That's when they noticed that Kaname and Naga were standing behind them.

"Lady Salamandinay, wants you to learn about us. And she also hopes we can learn about you. I can honestly tell you that's what she's doing." Kaname explained.

"But what's the point? I mean you killed our people, and we've killed yours. Isn't that the only thing we need to understand about each other? We should be enemies." Ange said.

"Hatred. Bitterness. Revenge. The only reward for those things is ruin. But human beings are capable of accepting and forgiving. We can move on if we choose to. That's one of the many things we've learned from her and from Sir Dean and his friends." Kaname said.

They heard Dean chuckling before they saw him and the other Nexus Rangers approaching, Tusk was a bit surprised to see men here.

"Come on…We didn't do that much." Dean said while rubbing the back of his head. "But like she said, while humans can often make mistakes, there are times they can learn from them and move forward. And the good we do will always outlive the bad."

"That's right. Lady Salamandinay had extended an invitation for you to stay here. So we urge you to make yourselves at home." Kaname said before she and Naga bowed their heads and soon left.

"Honestly, the princess is too kind for her own good." Naga said.

"You would be wise not to tell her that." Kaname told her friend.

"They're asking to stay with them?" Tusk said.

"Is it safe?" Ange said.

"I'm not sure. But…" Tusk said before he, Ange and the Rangers turn to Vivian and Lamia as they continue to smile and talk with each other. "Vivian looks so happy. Maybe we should stay."

Ange turns to him being a bit surprised to hear that.

"Arzenal…Embryo…Libertus…Think about it. We would never have to worry about those things again." Tusk said and left Ange in deep thought.

Dean then strongly patted them on the back which surprised Ange and Tusk as they turned to the Red Ranger.

"There's no reason for you to decide right away. Just take your time and think about it. After all, no one knows what the future holds. All we can do is move forward and see what happens. Trust me…I can speak from experience." Dean said.

"Yeah. We all do." Claire added.

"So until then, just use this time to relax and then decide what you should do." Shin told them.

The Nexus Rangers took their leave as well.

Despite what they said, Ange was still left in deep thought as she looked at the starry night sky filled with lanterns.
