Chapter 12
The two disrobed in the bedroom throwing their clothes in the hamper before going into the bathroom, where Dave immediately started the water flowing into the tub, which was large enough for six people, even though it was just him and Lynnette.
"Well, this is certainly a lovely little playground," Lynnette said, as she carefully stepped into the tub, as she knew that water could be slippery and she didn't want to fall. While any injuries would heal she didn't want to risk the baby she was carrying. Dave's warning about her balance on the stairs, had hit home and since she knew water could make her slip she was careful as she got in.
Dave immediately joined her and turned off the water as soon as the tub was full. The tub was embedded into the floor of the bathroom, which meant it had likely been built at the same time as the house. Of course, Dave could've had it put in since, but that likely would've required a lot of updates to the bathroom at least in order to accomplish that.
Still, it's not like Dave was short on funds, because he wasn't, so if it had been put in after the original house was built, then Dave had probably paid a lot more than he would have if he'd had it installed as the house was being constructed.
"Yes, it is a rather large playground for us," Dave agreed with a smile.
"I've been wondering why it's so large since you were married until recently and this thing is big enough for at least six people," Lynnette said looking at the round tub that took up quite a bit of the bathroom floor, but since the bathroom was at least triple the size of your normal ones it only took up a small portion of the space.
"I was always hoping my mate would be reborn and I'd have a family, so I had a large one put in, but it's only been me who has used it up until you came into my life. That finally happened when we met through your brother and believe me I am very glad and grateful it finally did."
"So, was this put in after the house was built or as the house was being built?"
"Oh, afterwards," Dave said. "As I'm sure you suspected already, there was a lot of updating to the bathroom to be done before putting in this jet tub was possible, which of course cost a fortune, but then I had the money. The plumbing had to be updated, as Jet tubs weren't even a thing when I had the house built originally and while I, James, Michelle and Tristan spent some time here when it was first built, I also moved the family to Europe for a while, so people wouldn't get suspicious, as to why we weren't aging. I of course, still owned the house, so after sufficient time had passed we all moved back here claiming we were the family of the original owner that had been living overseas."
The two of them stopped talking then and started kissing. Finally, giving into their mutual desire and started feeling each other up, gently caressing each other's skin getting great satisfaction from the contact, as both of them loved when the other was wet and slick.
When Dave slid his manhood into his mate, sometime later, Lynnette simply gave a little coo of satisfaction as Dave spurted his seed into her.
Both sat there and twined together with Lynnette on Dave's lap cuddled into his chest
"We really need to have sex in the jet tub more often," Lynnette said finally once she had caught her breath from her explosive climax. "If I wasn't already pregnant, I'm sure I would be after that session. Also, having sex becomes so much easier when you're pregnant when your entire body is surrounded by water. I know I'm not that far along yet, but it will be easier to make love right here in the water once I'm six months or more."
"We'll pencil it in as a regular thing, because you're very right that it will be easier to make love once your farther along than you are now. Right now, you're not showing, but you will be soon enough. Once your stomach grows, it'll be harder to make love," Dave agreed with a grin, as he smuggled Lynnette into his chest. He just loved having his mate cuddled into his chest, while both of them were butt naked.
It was an activity he was sure he would enjoy for the rest of time.
Finally, they climbed out dripping, wet, and Dave made sure Lynnette didn't slip on the wet tile. They then both dried off in the drying tube, before going back into their bedroom to dress in fresh clothes and heading down for a late lunch.
~~~Dave and Lynnette~~~
Months later
"It won't be long now before our son is here," Dave said, as he rubbed his wife's belly lovingly.
Lynnette was eight months pregnant and they had learned months ago that it was going to be a boy. Lynnette's only request of Dave was that they never name a boy, William, or any variation of the name. Of course, that also included girls names like Willa or Wilfreda. Dave was more than happy to accommodate the request and hadn't even had to ask why Lynnette didn't want any of their children to have that particular name.
It all went back to Lynnette's father, William Reid, and how he had abandoned his family years ago. Lynnette might have been a surprise child, so had been the lucky one that had never known the man that was her father, but that didn't mean that his mate couldn't hold a grudge until judgment day. Not necessarily for herself, but for her siblings who still carried the emotional scars that their father's abandonment had caused, particularly Spencer.
Lynnette loved her siblings, so their emotional pain was hers as well, so it was no wonder she held a grudge against the man that they all shared DNA with.
"No, it won't be long now," Lynnette said, as she lay with her head against Dave's shoulder and her leg stretched out in front of her on the couch they were sitting on in the family room. "That feels wonderful honey, so feel free to keep rubbing my tummy."
"Happy to," Dave said grinning, feeling like a fool, a fool in love, even as he continued to rub soothing circles on her, very prominent belly where their child was growing. "This little guy will only be the first of many. We'll have plenty of children over the centuries, and I am truly looking forward to it, as I never imagined the day would come where I would be a father."
"That's not quite true, as you've been a father to James, Michelle and Tristan ever since you adopted them," Lynnette said.
"While that's true, that doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to being a father to my own children. Remember, we had a different version of this discussion on the beach during our honeymoon," Dave said. "I just never imagined the day would come when I would have my own children ones that were related to me. I love the three I adopted, there's no doubt about that, but still there's something special about having children that are actually related to you."
"I understand," Lynnette said, as her eyelids began to droop as Dave continued to rub her belly, which made her sleepy. The little boy that she was carrying seemed to like the way his father rubbed circles on her stomach, as he wasn't kicking as much, because he was soothed by his father's gentle touch.
Lynnette occasionally felt a weak kick from her little boy, but it wasn't very strong and all because Dave kept rubbing soothing circles on her belly.
"You know we still need a name for this little guy," Dave said after a while, just as Lynnette nearly drifted off to sleep. "I know you don't want to name the baby William and I don't blame you there, but this baby boy does need a name, as it won't be long before he's here."
"It's just so hard to decide," Lynnette said still sounding sleepy. "There are so many unique and beautiful names in the world that it's not an easy decision."
"I won't say it's not difficult, but we don't want to give them anything that is too unique because you know they'll be teased for their name if we do," Dave said.
"We also don't want to give them a name that millions of other people have. Besides, having a unique name builds character when a child gets teased because of it. I was teased some for my name, because it wasn't as normal as all the Rachels, Samanthas or Amandas in the world," Lynnette said. "We could name them something like Joseph I suppose, but the only problem with that is that they are probably several million boys in the world with that name, so it's hardly unusual or unique."
"Yes, Joseph is common, but so are a lot of other names like mine for example, as David has always been common.
"Lynnette, on the other hand, isn't as common as David or Joseph," Lynnette said. "I won't say it's uncommon exactly, just not as common as other names."
"What about Albert or John?" Dave suggested.
"Too common," Lynnette said, shaking her head.
"Aaron?" Dave suggested. When Lynnette shook her head again Dave continued suggesting names. "Jonathan, though I suppose that's kind of close to John, Elijah, Bruce, Nicholas, Dwight, Derek or Wayne."
"I kinda like Derek," Lynnette decided sounding more alert. "It's still pretty common, but not as common as the first name you suggested, and we can spell it differently than the usual way to differentiate him from the other Derek's in the world."
"We could always call him, Dirk," Dave suggested with a grin
"Why would you suggest that?" Lynnette asked.
"Because Dirk is another version of Derek," Dave explained
"You know if I ever knew that as Letty I don't remember and I definitely didn't know that."
"It is a really, really old version, but it is still used today, even if it is more uncommon than Derek," Dave said.
"I think we'll go with Derek, but we can always call him Dirk as a nickname," Lynnette said.
"Alright then, we'll name our little boy, Derek, which is fine with me and we can always spell it with two Rs and an ICK instead of the traditional way if you want," Dave said.
"Now all we need is a middle name," Lynnette said.
"The middle name is easy, as we can use Spencer or Rocky as middle names," Dave said.
"Both would be pleased if we use their names, as middle names for our sons," Lynnette said smiling hugely pleased with the idea. "Rocky at least isn't going to be around in a few decades."
"Which is why it's a good idea for his name to live on in our family," Dave said.
"Rocco would be honored and so would, Spence," Lynnette agreed.
"Well, we'll name our son Derrick Spencer Rossi," Dave said. "The next son, we have, we can use Rocco or Rocky for a middle name."
"Now that we have finally decided on a name for our son, I think it's time we order some food as I'm starving."
"Your wish is my command gorgeous," Dave said, as Lynnette sat up and Dave rose to his feet. "So, what would you like? I'll have to order it and have it delivered since Giorgio has already retired for the night."
"I've been in the mood for Italian for several days," Lynnette finally said.
"You should've said something sooner and I would've been happy to take you out for a nice Italian dinner or to order it for here if that's what you wanted," Dave said.
"I don't want to be a bother," Lynnette said, and Dave gave her a look.
"You'll never be a bother," Dave told her firmly. "I'm well aware that pregnant women get cravings and if you want Italian, then you shall have Italian. Luckily, we live in a city where there is nearly every cuisine you could ever want. You have to tell me what you want though, in order for me to fulfill whatever you desire, as even because we're mates doesn't mean I can read your mind."
"I know and I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I don't know what I was thinking," Lynnette said.
"It doesn't matter, but from now on, I want you to tell me what you want and I'll do my best to fulfill any request," Dave said. "You've made me so happy Lynnette, you have no idea how much. I finally have you, my mate, back again, so anything you want is yours. I'm very well aware you can provide for yourself, since you have money of your own, but that doesn't mean I don't want to spoil you rotten just because I'm so happy that you're, back at my side."
"Just like I'm happy to be here," Lynnette assured him, even as she kissed him tenderly, which Dave accepted.
"I'll go look up the nearest Italian place," Dave said, "and it should be here within half an hour so. We haven't had Italian since we met and married, so this will be a first for us."
"I love Italian and eat it every few weeks," Lynnette said.
"I love Italian too, I simply meant, this will be the first time we've had Italian as a couple," Dave said smiling tenderly.
"This will be one of many firsts," Lynnette agreed before she released Dave to go order Italian for them both for a late night snack.
