It was a sunny afternoon at the Martin home. Daphne Blake, who was still on the top shelf, was fast asleep, leaning against one of the books behind her, but oddly, Braedimus Prime wasn't with her. As she slept, a blue van pulled into the driveway of the house. Daphne woke up to the sound, and as she looked out the open window, she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Transformers, roll out!" Braedey jumped out of the van, but with what looks like a helmet shaped like Braedimus's helm. "Haha! Good to be back!"
Daphne's eyes were wide in shock. "He's back..." She said quietly in surprise, and looked to everyone on the ground. Slinky, Rex, Rocky, and Potato Head were playing cards on the ground. "Everybody! Braedey's back! He's home early from Autobot Camp!" Daphne announced, as Rex smiled in response.
"Places, everybody! Braedey's coming!" Hamm announced, and everyone headed off to where they were, leaving the stack of carrds on the floor. Daphne got back in position, just as Braedey entered the room, humming the very catchy and rocking 'Transformers: Animated' theme song.
Braedey got on a stepladder, and saw Daphne on the shelf. "Hey, Daph. Did you miss me?" He asked, then held him in his hand. But, as he walked next to the cards, he stopped, and saw Daphne's broken arm. "Oh. I forgot. Your arm's broken." Then, his voice sounded almost monotone, losing all emotion in the process. "I don't want to play with you anymore."
Then, Braedey did the one thing he thought he couldn't do: he lets go of Daphne, making her fall towards the ground, and he recoiled his hand away from the doll. The redhead doll fell down onto the pile of cards, but as she hits them, she seems to keep falling forever and ever down into a deep crevasse, and as she fell through an 'Aces' card, she fell into what could be a trash can down on the ground.
Daphne looked around, and saw the arms of other toys lying all around her. She gasped in shock and disgust, and she quickly began to climb out of the trash can. "No, Braedey!" She cried out, unaware that the arms have come to life, and were rising out of the trash can. "No, Braedey! Don't do this!" Daphne cried out, looking around. But then, she was grabbed in a choking hold by one of the arms, and was being pulled back down into the trash.
Just then, Braedey appeared, but he didn't seem fazed at what he was seeing inside of the trash can. "Goodbye, Daphne." He said, his voice echoing.
Daphne looked up, as she was almost buried amongst the broken arms, and she saw Braedey was putting the lid on the can. "No! Braedey, please!!!" She cried, tears in her eyes, but the brunette places the lid down, and everything went black.
Daphne suddenly screamed out, sitting up in the process, and she looked around at where she was. She was still on the shelf, and was in Braedimus's arms, who was woken up by her scream as he looked at her in concern.
"Daphne! Are you okay?" Braedimus asked to her immediately. He could sense she was scared, worried, and earlier, she was mumbling about something in her sleep.
"...l'm scared, Braedimus. Really bad dream." Daphne admitted, then she looked at her limp broken arm with a frown. "No thanks to this!" She smacked it against the book opposite her, and a lot of dust that had accumulated on there blew everywhere. She coughed a bit, trying to get the dust out of her mouth, but then, she then heard what sounded like someone coughing from behind the book she had just smacked her arm against.
Braedimus heard this too, and decided to take a look to be on the safe side. He gently moved the book back a bit, and to his shock, there was a little penguin toy, with a red bow tie on. This was Wheezy, a squeaky penguin toy. He was covered in dust from head to flippers. "Wheezy?" He said in shock.
"Wheezy, is that you?" Daphne asked in surprise.
"Hey, Prime." Wheezy wheezed to Braedimus. Then, he saw Daphne. "And hello, Miss Blake."
"Wh... What are you doing all the way up here?" Daphne asked, now pushing the book out of the way for the two to see Wheezy.
"Yes. I thought Mum took you to get your speaker fixed months ago." Braedimus knelt down to the little penguin, who walked up to him and Daphne. "Scoobert was sad. You were like his favourite toy."
"Nah." Wheezy sighed softly. "She just told him that to calm him down, and then, put me on the shelf." He then sighed, giving a little wheeze.
"But, Wheezy, why couldn't you call out for help?" Daphne asked him. "We could've helped get you fixed."
Wheezy turned to her. "Well, I tried squeakin'. But, it's still broken. No one could hear me." He then tried to squeak, but only got a wheeze out of it, before he coughed from the dust. "Besides, the dust aggravates my condition." He coughed, and wheezed, kicking up a lot of dust, before he fell back, only for Daphne to hold him in her good arm.
"Easy, old friend. You need to rest." Braedimus told him softly.
"What's the point in prolonging the inevitable?" Wheezy sighed, now looking up at the two. "We're all just one stitch away from here to there." He pointed his fin over to outside the window.
Braedimus and Daphne looked in the direction Wheezy was pointing his fin down to, and they both saw Naomi was nailing a sign down outside in the front yard. The sign read 'YARD SALE', and there also was some boxes and tables out in the front yard.
"Yard sale?" Daphne read the sign aloud as she looks on.
Braedimus' optics go wide in shock as he gasped. "Yard sale." He whispered in shock, and he looked down to the ground. "YARD SALE!!!" He bellowed, blaring his horn in the process, and that immediately wakes everyone up. "Everyone! Wake up! There's a yard sale outside!" He announced.
"Yard Sale?" Buzz asked, who was sitting on the bed with Woody.
"Now?" Woody added.
"Sarge! Initiate emergency roll-call NOW!" Braedimus ordered to Sarge, who popped out of the Bucket Of Soldiers.
"Sir, yes, sir!" Sarge saluted immediately to Prime at once. "Red Alert! All civilians fall in position now!" Immediately, all of the toys began to line up in a single file formation, as Buzz and Robot had a small clipboard to see who was here or not. "Single file! Let's move, move, move!"
"Hamm?" Buzz started.
"Here." Hamm replied.
"Potato Head, Mr and Mrs.?" Buzz reads the list.
"Here." Both Potato Heads acknowledge back.
"Troikas. Check, check, check, check, check." Buzz continued down the single file line.
"I hate yard sales." Rex groaned while rubbing his hands together in worry. But then, he heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "Ah! Someone's coming!" He yelled, and everyone headed back to their original positions. Braedimus and Daphne both hide Wheezy, and they freeze or fall limp.
Just then, Naomi walked into the room, now holding a box with the number 25 on it, and the cents symbol on it. "Okay. Let's see what's in his room." She said, still feeling bad about what happened to Daphne. Naomi found Slinky, and she gently places him up on the bed next to Woody and Buzz. "There you go, Slinky." She gently patted the toy dog's head, and she looked under the bed. She found the game of Scrabble, with all the pieces inside it, and she placed it inside of the box.
Next, Naomi walks around to the other side of the bedroom, and found Rex standing on three jigsaw puzzle boxes. She picks up the T-Rex toy and places him up on the desk, and she checks each box. She takes a look and she saw the jigsaw boxes have their pieces. "Okay. That's good." She placed them in the box.
Finally, Naomi looked at the top shelf. Oddly, she saw Braedimus standing there with Daphne. "Hey. What are you doing up there?" She gently picked up and held the Autobot toy in her hand, and she saw he saw the same face as her son's. She couldn't help but smile. "I guess that is why he loves you so much: you look kinda like him." She then saw Daphne up there, and she took a guess. "I guess you just wanted to be closer to her to protect her. Okay." She places him back up on the shelf next to Daphne, and she began to look about. Then, she found Wheezy, and sighed to herself.
"Bye, Prime." Wheezy wheezed quietly to the two, and was placed inside the box.
With that, Naomi left the room, and she heads off down to the front yard of the house, whilst Braedimus and Daphne watched her leave, looking down at the penguin toy inside the box.
"Oh, no. Wheezy!" Daphne was worried for the little penguin toy. Then, she had an idea. "Wait! That's it!" She immediately whistled out, and a loud barking sound came up from outside the room. Scoobert now entered the room, looking left and right to find where the whistle came from, then he looks up, and he barked at the two toys. "Hey, boy!" Daphne waved. "Up here, Scoobert!"
"Hang on tight." Braedimus held Daphne in his arms, and he mentally commands something. On his back, some metal shifts, and a four-engine jetpack with large wings attach and lock onto his back. "Wait for us, Scoobert." He called to the Great Dane, who stood still.
Braedimus jumps off the shelf, him and Daphne gliding safely to the ground, and Scoobert arranged himself so they'd land on his back. The two toys land safely on him, Daphne sitting behind Scoobert's collar, and with Braedimus behind her, one arm wrapped around her, and the other holding onto the collar.
"Okay, Scoobert. We've got to get to the yard sale to save Wheezy. Yah!" Daphne told him, and with that, Scoobert barked out four times, and the Great Dane ran out of the room!!
"Prime! Daphne!" The other toys called out to the two, but to no avail. They were shocked of what they had just witnessed.
"They're nuts." Potato Head said.
"Her arm ain't that bad." Slinky was referring to Daphne's broken arm.
"Don't do it, Daphne! We love you!" Rex cried out.
