Meanwhile, D2G is heading home after a visit to the aquarium with his buddy Runny-Eye Dale. D2G is carrying a big bag of merchandise, mostly booklets about dolphins and other aquatic mammals.
"What is it with you and dolphins, anyways? This just your new interest or something?" Dale asks.
"You could call it that, but I don't think you would understand if I tried to explain. It's a project of mine, so to speak." D2G responds.
"Yeah, sure, don't bother, I don't really care that much. Are you really okay with letting me stay over at your place for a while?"
"Of course! It's not your fault your houses both got blown up by city-destroying monsters! That's why I moved out of the city to begin with, there's always some kind of nonsense going on that I want no part of."
D2G and Dale arrive at D2G's house. The first thing that D2G notices is an odd chalk symbol on the front of his door.
"Damn, guess living off the grid still doesn't keep me safe from vandals." D2G says with a sigh, before unlocking and opening the door. D2G starts to step inside, but stops himself when he notices that there are clumps of dirt and moss dotted along the floor.
"What's wrong?" Dale asks, having not yet seen inside.
"I think someone broke in, there's a bunch of dirt on the floor." D2G explains, gulping quietly as his paranoid thoughts begin to race with ideas of what could have happened while he was gone. He takes out his phone, but finds that the battery is too low to turn on since he was using it to take pictures the entire time they were at the aquarium. "Ah, damn, my phone's dead. Alright, I'll go and grab us a beer, you call the cops, I'll be back out in just a moment."
D2G cautiously steps inside, peeking around every corner as he makes his way to the kitchen, noting that the trail of dirt seems to be going in the same direction. As he enters the kitchen and flicks on the light, he immediately notices that something is off, since there's a halloween decoration on his counter and the shelves from his fridge are sloppily strewn across the floor. D2G carefully walks over to the fridge, beginning to sweat. Just as he puts his hand on the fridge's handle, the toy skeleton's head rapidly jerks to face him.
"WHADDYA WANT?" the toy shouts, and D2G is startled by the sudden noise. He stumbles backwards, pulling open the fridge door in the process and revealing the Sodfather crammed inside of it. Before D2G can even process what he's seeing, the Sodfather lurches out of the fridge and onto him, tackling him to the ground and putting its horrifying visage right in his face. The toy skeleton begins to dance in place and sing a heavily distorted song.
"I'm a very spooky guy…" chants the skeleton, the pace of its dance accelerating as the song continues. D2G lets out a scream, frantically shoving the Sodfather away. The toy skeleton, which is by now obvious as being possessed by the powerful demon Henceforth, continues rattling loudly as the song plays and its dance gets faster and faster, having had its limits removed by Henceforth's Stand, Super Freak. D2G runs to the door, only to have it slammed shut in his face. While D2G fumbles with the door handle, the Sodfather stands up and starts slowly walking towards him. D2G, in a panic, pulls out Celloe, preparing to escape to a different dimension to get away from this terrifying situation. D2G can barely focus enough to strum his Stand's strings, his heart racing with adrenaline. However, this proves to have the opposite effect than granting D2G an escape, as his own fear, which has been uncapped by Super Freak to approach infinity, causes the dimensional portal that opens to lead directly to a nightmare world of pure horror. Black smoke spills out of the portal and across the floor, followed shortly by a large swarm of bats, and then a skittering group of huge spiders. A ghoulish shriek rings out from within the portal, and after a moment, an eye peers through straight at D2G. The eye is sunken deep in the skull of a vile, horrific monster, its gaze evoking a sense of dread like no other. D2G scrambles, trying to close the portal, but a nightmare hand adorned with hooked claws grabs the edge of the portal and forces it open wider such that the abomination on the other side may pass through all the way. D2G can only watch as Ardmoune, an entity describable only as fear itself given physical form, steps through the portal and into his kitchen.
"Dude, there's a crazy guy in here!" Dale says, suddenly interrupting the moment when he shoves the kitchen door open, having managed to wrestle Zathotah away from it for long enough to open the door. The moment Dale comes into view, Ardmourne simply points down at him, and he's immediately disintegrated into nothingness. Ardmourne then uses the same finger to beckon at the doorway, and Zathotah steps into view, clutching a black eye that Dale managed to give him in their altercation. Ardmourne then points at D2G, who is currently shriveled up on the ground, petrified completely.
"You enlisted this man to bring me forth, Zathotahhhh?" Ardmourne asks, and Zathotah, stricken with fear just by beholding Ardmourne, slowly nods. "Ahahaha…I think he has earned a little treat for his troubles."
Zathotah nods again, and takes out a little piece of candy, setting it on D2G's chest. Ardmourne holds out a fist above D2G and slowly opens his digits, causing moisture to return to D2G's body as his heart begins beating once more, though he remains unconscious.
"Those who allow terror to control their hearts are only adhering to the natural order of things, as they ought to be." Ardmourne turns slowly to face the Sodfather, which has its arms raised as it's approaching Ardmourne, in the feeble hope that it may be able to best the fear lord himself. "Aww, you precious thing. Zathotah, remind me to get one of these for myself some day."
The moment Ardmourne finishes speaking, he makes a twisting motion with his hand, and the Sodfather goes rigid, stopping dead in its tracks as all life leaves its body, leaving it frozen towering over the unconscious D2G. Zathotah takes out his special chalk and draws a large sigil on the wall, creating another short-distance portal to exit the house since Ardmourne is far too large to take the door. As the duo exits the room, the toy skeleton, which has by this point slowed down and become even more distorted, performs one last shimmy, sending the toy off of the counter and causing it to become unplugged, severing Henceforth's connection to the mortal world. Ardmourne and Zathotah come out of the other end of the portal and leisurely walk away from the house.
"Hello? Hellloooo? Damn kids and their prank calls." the voice of Woo Hoo comes through Runny-Eye Dale's discarded phone on the ground, before the line goes silent.
