Aboard the Sunny sat two individuals, who placed themselves on deck, leaning against the railing. The night was cold but just warm enough for both to enjoy a small talk. They were having a lovely late night talk about their dreams and adventures, their pasts and their presents.
"Thank you, Sanji" Nami murmured but the cook had heard it over the hard breeze. "I should be thanking you, mademoiselle. If it weren't for you, then I'd probably still be at the baratie" Sanji joked, taking a sip of his drink. It was true. At the baratie, when they first met, he couldn't take his eyes off her. She looked like a goddess who suddenly appeared to see him. Of course, it was only a matter of time before he found out that she was in a crew with his now captain.
"I love you, Nami." He didn't expect her to say anything back. It was pretty much usual for her to smile when he said it. But when she murmured those three words, his heart instantly fluttered with joy. He had waited years for her to say it. And now, his prayers were sent. "You're drooling." He was cut off from his trance and back to reality to find Nami staring back at him with a smile.
"I love you too, Sanji..."

That was only a year ago, yet she remembered it like it was yesterday. A bitter memory that she'd rather leave behind.
Now she sat in front of him, kneeling next to her captain who got kicked by the man she thought she knew and loved. He betrayed them. He betrayed her.
"I don't care about you guys anymore. It's best if you leave and never turn back." He said it with no remorse or doubt. As if he didn't see them as anything. Like they weren't just his crew mates. "I'm getting married to the most beautiful woman and I don't want any of you to ruin it! My journey with you filthy beings ends here." It broke her heart as he mentioned the woman. She was sure he could hear it shatter into a million pieces. Wasn't she the one he told was the most beautiful? Wasn't she the one he swore to love? "Turn and never come back. Big Mom said she'll let you go without any problems." She hadn't dared to look him in the eyes. How could he? Luffy even believed in him that he'd come back and be a crew again. He even pushed through to at least get his cook back.
The blond man turned only to stop in his track as he heard the voice of someone he wished he didn't hear at the moment.
"Sanji!"
He turned and saw the ginger swiftly walk up to him. She maintained eye contact throughout her way only to stop in front of him. Tears had spilled down her cheeks, dripping down to the dry. He felt guilty knowing he made a lady cry. Not to mention the girl he loved. Or once loved. He truly felt guilty. But the next moment, he felt his left cheek burn. The stinging pain left a big red mark upon the left side of his face.
"You traitor!"

As she boarded the Sunny, she saw the Vinsmokes and Charlotte family watching them depart. She knew he was there as she felt his eyes staying on her. She didn't care. And she knew he didn't care at all about what would come for the Straw hats.
"Sanji darling! Let's head back to the castle and get ready!"
"Yes, my love! I can't wait to see you in your dress!"
It gutted her ears to hear that girl's voice. Gosh, did she wish to just Thunder Tempo her. What saddened her, though, was the fact that Sanji didn't even care about her anymore. As if she were just a dummy to use. Another girl he toyed with.
She hated how he was always easy to manipulate. Anything that has boobs and a skirt on, he'd definitely fawn over and she just hated it.
And yet, she fell for it. Like a fool. She was drawn to a flame and got burned in the end.

Throughout the journey back to Zou, she felt miserable. The rest of the crew had asked where the cook was but only received sorrowful looks. They already knew it was about to happen anyway.
Now she was leaning on the railing at the deck again where they both used to talk together. Only thing now is that she was alone instead. She hated him. Despised him. Just when she thought she could finally share her heart with someone, they end up breaking it and throwing it away.
Luffy and herself had taken it the hardest. No more cook on the ship anymore and the only one who could cook decently was she herself and Robin. But she didn't want to be in the kitchen. Not when it was his.
Brook and Zoro both already expected this. The skeleton only mumbled profanities under his breath about that dumb cook. The swordsman had only huffed, saying he should've cut him before he could do harm towards the crew and how he never trusted him in the first place.
The rest felt gloomy. They had not expected him to leave so easily. Not to mention going to Big Mom's crew. He always seemed loyal and happy to stay with the straw hats. Yet, here they were, all torn up because he left them just like that.
Zoro walked down the crow's nest just to see the navigator back at the railing again. This had been the third night in a row that she stood in the cold breeze and probably crying. He knew the relationship between Sanji and her and he knew they had something going on. He just wished she'd realize how much of a bastard he was.
Today, he wasn't going to let her cry over him again. He'd like to see the old Nami, who very bossy and money obsessed. Not sad and droopy. He missed seeing the smile on her face everytime she managed to get him to work or seeing the whole crew have fun. Of course, he wouldn't want to admit it to her since both of them liked arguing and bossing each other around.
Ever since the two year training, when they came back as a crew again, he finally found his feelings for the navigator. It wasn't some petty rivalry, no. It was something more. Everytime he'd see her anywhere on the ship, he'd find it hard to concentrate in a way that he was caught off guard. But he couldn't do anything as he knew she was not his. But Sanji's. He watched as the two shared glances, long enough to see the full meaning behind it. It upset him, of course, but at least Nami got to be happy with who she chose. But now that the bastard had gone and left Nami to sulk and suffer, he now had a chance to change everything.
"Nami." Zoro called out towards the navigator. She was surprised to hear anyone this late being awake, but when she realized it was Zoro, she needn't to be worried as he was mostly a night owl. Sadly though, she hadn't replied. It was just the breeze that talked back to him. "What's up with you?" Truth be told, he never knew how to comfort someone, nonetheless a woman in her feelings "I'm fine." Was all she said and turned back to being gloomy. Zoro knew better. He walked closer till he stood next to her. "You know, crying about him is a waste of time." She turned to face him. She was about to argue to him about how careless he was and how he should mind his own business before he cut her off. "He left you easily like yesterday's news. He found someone else and instantly forgot you. It's unfair, don't you think?"
He was right. Sanji barely had any doubt in his words. Neither did he call back and ask to be saved. It wasn't like Enies Lobby. Robin did ask to be rescued but for he, he hadn't had a wish. She saw how he looked at Pudding. With so much love and adoration, much more than how he used to look at her.
"Yes... But I do miss him though." Nami answered, her voice was soft and almost broken from all the crying. "If you're still thinking about him, then you're living in the past. He already moved on and so must you. There are multiple men out there who'd like to serve you and obey to you."
"How are you so sure about that?"
"That guy from... What's it called, Water 7. He had goggles on I think."
"Oh, him... I never say anything in him."
"That bastard in Thriller bark? You were gonna marry him."
"Ew! Him? He looks like a furry!"
Zoro chuckled loudly, the silence getting interrupted by their conversation. "That was hilarious. How about... Me?"
She stopped in her tracks as he asked that question, caught off guard by his bluntness.
"What do you think about me...?" He let that question linger in the cold air for a minute, thinking about his next words. "I'm... Look, I know this is out of the blue... And I understand what you might be thinking, right? But listen, I know we had our disagreements and fights, we don't always look eye to eye but I've always... I always am on your side no matter what. And I'll always be there to save you. Either in fights... Or when you really... Really someone. I'm always here, Nami. And... Contrary to believe, I actually do enjoy being around you... A lot. You're nice... A bit of a brat though, but that's besides the point. Look... I'm saying this with all my heart and in no means to ill intent but... I think I'd like to try something between us."
She stood in silence, watching him with big brown eyes as he confessed. She didn't know how to feel as it was all too sudden. "Zoro... " She was too caught up in her feelings that she missed the swordsman's gaze. He felt like an idiot after the confession. Why'd he say it? Why'd he ramble like a fool? He knew she'd decline knowing how much stress was going through her, how much pain she had to suffer after Sanji's betrayal. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have..." "It's okay, Zoro." Without a second thought, she took his hand in his, surprising him by the sudden contact.
"We can give it a try."

"Papa!"
"I'll be back home in two days, my precious. Just wait. I'll bring back lots of toys and candies!" A blond man spoke to a Den Den Mushi. He was currently at an island with Big Mom's crew. They anchored to get more supplies for their next stop. "Yay! Mama said she can't wait to see you again!" The little girl on the other side spoke.
He and Pudding had settled and started a family after the wedding. It had been seven years after that.
"Tell her that I love her. And I love you too, Taffy." Sanji spoke and dialed off. He was now walking through the big town of this Island. The log pose had been set to store for one day so he decided to walk around the town to at least enjoy what was here before the crew left the next day.
He walked past a shop not thinking much about till something caught his eye. It was a poster of the Straw Hat pirates all in one picture. He's heard the news that Luffy had found One Piece and is now the King Of The Pirates. Lucky bastard. At least he managed to reach his goal. He looked over the poster some more till his eyes landed on her.
Nami.
He still remembered how she slapped him back at home. She looked hurt. Although it had been several years after that incident, he still couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt in his chest. Luffy too had begged him to come back to the ship and sail away. His face was still embedded into his brain. Anger, sadness, hurt and determination written in his eyes.
But it's over now. He shouldn't worry about anyone's business and life when he's got his own. He walked some more down the street, enjoying the people and weather.
"Kuina!"
That voice. That voice belonged to someone he knew. But why was she here? He looked into the direction he was sure he heard and behold, there she stood.
The unmistakable orange hair that glowed in the sun, the brown eyes that resembles chocolate. Her hair, however did get shorter though. Its style looked to be one from back at East Blue. Her body had changed too, her bosom and hips had grew wider. she even had more weight on but still skinny. Her outfit was a simple yellow shirt that stopped mid waist and a white skirt that went till her lower knees. She still looked like a goddess after all these years.
"Kuina! Come back, I've made lunch!" She called out. A small child around the age of five had skipped from around the corner and into Nami's arms. Who was that child? He looked closer to see she had orange hair as well. The same as Nami's. Did Nami have a family? No, she couldn't. She'd never. She was known to only like money and oranges. But then again, who was this child?
"But me and papa were training!" The little girl pouted. Nami picked her into her arms and was about to walk off but stopped. She saw him.
"Kuina, you dropped your swords! You better not do this next time as I've paid a fortune for it!" A heavy voice had followed. The form suddenly appeared in front of the two ladies. "Sorry, papa!" "It's okay. Nami... is there something wrong?" The man had turned into the direction Nami had set her eyes on.
"Moss head."
"Oh, Love cook. What are you doing here?" Asked Zoro not even caring what his answer would be. "Look, I don't even care what you're here for but just go on and don't look back. If Luffy finds you, all hell would break loose." Luffy is here? "What do you mean?" Sanji managed to speak after a long time. "He believed you'd come back, you know." Luffy indeed believed for quite a while that the cook would come back. But as those days became years, he drifted off from that thought. He then ended up finding another cook who he accepted as a member a few months after the incident and after that, it stayed like it.
"Nami!" All their attention turned to face that sound. It was Robin. She held hands with a child who seemed to have blue hair. "Oh, hello there, cook!" The woman greeted before walking towards the ginger. "Ah, Robin! I just made lunch! Would you mind joining us?" "I'll just call Franky if he's up for it." The older woman replied. "Jhonny, please stay with Nami while I get your father, alright?"
Meanwhile the two rivals stood, overhearing the two women talk about. "Just go. You're nothing to us anymore and the rest would probably beat you up before I do. Go back to your own family. The one you left us for." Zoro barked, he bawled his fists ready to hit any part of the blond's face. "Zoro, let's just go. He'll go away eventually." Nami spoke, stopping both from starting up a war.
Sanji watched as both of them walked off. Zoro gave him one last glare though, before he went inside a building. And not long after, came the big cyborg and Robin, holding hands. Usopp, Brook, Chopper and Luffy followed behind happily. The only reason they hadn't spotted him was because the streets now had been packed with more civilians.
They all lived happily without him now.
Already having a perfect family after the One Piece.
He missed them...
But they did not miss him at all...
Only if he asked for help,
Only if he begged to be rescued,
But it's the past and there's no changing that.
He could only with that in another life...
He'd not make this choice.
"Zoro, stop looking like that. I'm sure he's passed." Nami tried calming the swordsman. He only grunted in response. That damn bastard dared to come back after all he's done. Thinking it was okay to show his face. "Papa, uncle Luffy will eat all your food if you don't eat!" "Luffy! What did I tell you about stealing food in my house!" The navigator had slammed her fist on the rubber man's head. "Sorry, Nami!"
"Nami, don't give him another concussion."
"I don't care! I made enough for everyone!"
"The food tastes good, Nami!"
"Indeed."
