I need to explain the long silence between chapters 3 and 4. I don't want to get into it but work and school we're taking its toll on me, giving me no time to write or anything related to having free time. I also want to say that chapters 4 through 8 were finished long before I posted them. So that's why this chapter explains why there was silence.
This chapter takes place around the same time of Dumbledore reading the prophet a few chapters back. I don't know how long the Ilvermorny Arc will be, but I would like it to be short and quick. I'd also like to say that I'm not good at creating OCs, and I'll probably forget their names and more, but the ones who are important, they will have a description at the bottom of the chapters they are introduced in.
I would also like to add that Harry will have the fear of people touching him. He got this fear from the abuse the Dursley put him through and he won't be able to get over it, unless it is from someone he trusts, loves and cares about. I'd also like to say that both of his pairings will also have a phobia, Daphne will be a germaphobe and Nym will be an autophobe.
THANK YOU ALPRAZ AND NANU FOR EDITING AND HELPING WITH THE STORY

Boston, America
—
Harry was exhausted, both physically and mentally. Why? Cause it seems as if the International Portkey took immense amounts of energy and concentration on the user. So after touching ground in Boston and having to deal with the horde of people awaiting him, the young wizard found that all his energy was drained and used.
But hiding the exhaustion and tiredness behind his Occlumency wall, the Potter Heir had to prepare himself to meet Governor William Abrabram Potter, the Head of the American Branch and Governor of New England. Harry didn't know much about the man, only what his Aunt Vicky told him, and that was just that the Governor took his job seriously and had tendencies to forget who was in his company.
"You ready Harry?" The earlier mentioned woman asked, making the young 9-year-old shake his head. The American Potter chuckled, and he felt a weight on his shoulder, making his emerald pools look to her. "You don't need to be worried, I assure you my dear. Both my brother and your grandfather have been making plans for this since before you were offered an education at Ilvermorny." She leaned in and whispered. "However, if I know my brother as well as I do, I do believe he'd be ecstatic to see someone from the main branch visiting his home."
Harry thought about what she said and after a few seconds more he nodded, his nerves calming after this information was given to him. The Potter Heir then watched as the woman's smile grew and stood straight, and without another thought, a pull came from his gut.

Elsewhere
—
The Potter Heir knew the feeling, and that was the sole reason why Harry didn't keel over and puke his breakfast out. Slowly opening his eyes he found himself standing in front of a train tunnel going through a mountain, and judging by the tracks, it was abandoned and unused. Looking at his surroundings, Harry's confusion only grew, for all around the two Potters was a landscape of trees and grass, not a single mountain in sight.
"Where are we?" He asked with curiosity and interest laced into his voice. Harry looked to his relative and found her smiling at the tunnel before them. "Aunty?"
The woman looked at him and her smile grew. "You'll find out soon Harry, and when you do, what you will see will be a sight to behold." With that, she placed her hand on the center of his back, and gave a small push towards the tunnel.
The boy nodded as they walked into the tunnel, and as Harry entered the tunnel, his interest only grew as he tried to understand why his aunt wouldn't give him a clear answer. Shaking his head he fought the desire to know to the back of his mind, like she said he'll know later. So with the desire hidden away, Harry continued walking into the tunnel, the exit getting further and further away. But after a few more steps the Potter Heir felt a wave of ancient, powerful, and unknown magic wash over him, and because of this wave of magic Harry had closed his eyes when it washed over him, and when he opened them he was greeted to a sight that solidified what his mother figure said earlier.
Before him was a grand gate, one that had a very familiar old English P in the center, and from the color and the etchings all over the metal. Harry could only say the gate was made purely out of goblin metal. On both sides of the gate, were hedges that stood over 9 feet high, and spanned for over 59 feet on both sides. But what truly made the sight was what was on the other side of the gate.
Once Harry laid eyes on the Potter estate for the family's American branch he was left breathless at the manor's magnificence. Standing before him like a greatt fortress prepared to shield his family from all life's misfortunes. The manor was made of stone in various shades of grey and beige in an alternating pattern giving the house an aged, but regal appearance. It was made of various structures such as a greenhouse, solar, shaded drive, a large covered veranda whose roof served as a terrace, multiple arched windows in an older European style along with many spires on the roof which was a pleasant sky blue color, and finally in the middle of the home was a tower that was easily four or five stories taller then the rest of the manor.
"Harry, I welcome you to the home of the American Potter Family, Potter Mansion." He heard from beside him and within a few seconds the visage of his aunt came into view. "What we came through was the secret entrance to the Potter Lands, and only those with Potter Blood can see its entrance and enter without being harmed or killed."
The Potter Heir nodded dumbfounded, too amazed at the sight in front of him but also about the advanced magic that would be needed to achieve such a thing. Hadrian went to ask about it, wanting to know what runes or magic were used to create such a thing. However, before a word could leave his lips, a familiar popping sound came.
"Lady Nudist," a voice came from in front of them, and immediately Harry started coughing as his emerald green pools flew to the owner of the voice. "The Master has requested that you and The Potter Heir, to go see him in his office immediately upon entering the Mansion."
Just as the house elf finished and vanished, Harry watched as a disgusting-looking red light hit the spot the elf once stood. He looked to the owner of the spell and found his aunt glaring at the spot with her wand before her. "Damn that elf and damn you William, for allowing her to call me that."
Harry went to laugh but before a sound could be made, the young wizard felt a sapphire glare on him. "If you laugh my dear Hadrian, you will find your first year at Ilvermorny a little more complicated than you would like." With a hastily made nod, he watched as her glare and frown turned into kind eyes and a smile. "Good, now let's go in before my brother does something else really stupid."
With that, the two began making their way to the mansion before them. To Harry's amazement when he walked towards the grand gates, he expected them to open just like any gate he had seen, but what happened told the young wizard that he was still learning the secrets and wonders of magic. For when he walked towards the gates they didn't open to him or his aunt, but began semi-transparent and as he walked into them he went straight through them, giving the young lad a feeling of warmth flowing through his gains as he walked past them.
The Potter Heir looked back to the gate with eyes sparkling with curiosity and wonder as the gate returned to its usual color. "Amazing isn't it?" A new voice from ahead spoke up, making Harry turn to its owner.
He found a woman with immense beauty, long flowing white hair with beautiful Nordic blue eyes. With her were 2 kids, the oldest looking was a boy with serious chocolate brown eyes and dirty blonde hair, he looked to be a year older than Harry. The last was a girl with cute deep blue eyes and shoulder-length white hair.
Harry didn't need to wonder who the people were, for he already knew from his studies. They were the wife and children of Governor Potter, Lady Emmeline Potter nee Malfoy(Main Malfoy Branch), and withher,r David and Elizabeth Potter.
When he saw them Harry went to bow, this was their home and their lands, and he was their guest. However before he could show respect to the matriarch and her family, the lady of the family spoke up, stopping him. "Heir Hadrian, there's no need to bow to us and if it was my husband who was in my place, William would be bowing to you saying it's a great honor to be housing a member of the main family."
He nodded slowly, not knowing how to respond to what he was just told. Thankfully Hadrian didn't have to say anything, for his aunt spoke up for him. "Hello Em, it's nice seeing you again but I do believe you know that my brother is waiting for myself and my ward." Vicky said, as he stepped into his view.
"I do know that my Lord Husband is waiting for you and Heir Hadrian." The matriarch said with a nod and Harry saw a glint in the woman's eyes. "But as you know, I have a duty to uphold whenever we have a guest or visitor that comes into my home." Her eyes then flew to him and he watched as a small smile grew on her face. "Heir Hadrian, I as the matriarch of this household, welcome you into our home."
At that, the British Potter Heir watched as she waved a hand and as if it was scripted, a house elf appeared before him with a tray of a single loaf of bread and a glass of water.
"Eat and drink, and we promise that no harm will come upon you while you live under this roof or in our presence." The blonde woman continued, and at this point, Harry finally knew what was going on. This was an ancient tradition the Potters once upheld to to promise the safety and security of anyone who would reside in their home. Taking the loaf of bread, the younger Potter took a bite of it and quickly took a sip of the offered water, but once the liquid touched his tongue, he immediately wanted to spit it out for it wasn't water but wine.
Placing the cup down on the tray, the small creature quickly vanished and Harry looked to the Lady of the house and saw that her smile was still present. "With that over you should get going to see my husband. But know that once you are fully welcomed and ready, you are welcome to wander the halls and lands around the Mansion."
After giving a quick nod and smile of appreciation,. Harry watched as Lady Emmeline and her children left, walking back into the house. "Let's get going Harry." His Aunt said from beside him, and hearing this he followed in suit.
Entering the home of the American Potter Family, Harry could say one thing as he made the short walk towards the Lord's solar. Whereas the British Potter family had armor stands, picture frames and some medieval weapons with shields littered on its walls, the American family had some of the same, with armor stands and pictures, but the major difference was that they had muggle firearms on their walls, showing their affliction towards the deadly weapons.
"Before you ask or do something stupid. Those firearms have not had their firing pin removed, so whatever you do don't fuck with them." Vicky said from ahead of him, making the British Potter Heir look at her. "We have a firing range and a hunting ground on our lands, and during your time here you might be able to get yourself familiar with them, but as of now don't touch them."
He nodded and jogged to catch up to his aunt and when he did, the woman smiled and Harry felt her ruffle his already untidy hair. He pouted and waved her hand off his head, and all he got from the woman was a chuckle as she removed her hand.
When the two came to a stop, Harry looked at the door in front of him, and all he could say was that it fit a Lord's Office. It stood at 9ft tall and was made out of cherry wood with iron steel hinges and handles. Etched into the wooden door was the American Potter coat of arms and its motto.
Harry started fiddling with the ring that rested on his third finger on his left hand, dreading what might happen when he opened the door. Taking a deep breath, the British Potter stepped forward into the solar of one of the most powerful and influential people in Magical America: Lord William Quinn Potter, Governor of New England, Head of the Founding and Governing House of Potter
The moment the door opened, Harry felt the man's azure eyes on him, giving the feeling that he was standing on the chopping block. It also didn't help that even when the man was sitting in his chair, it didn't hide the fact the man stood over 6 feet tall. The fiddling of the heir ring intensified as the towering figure stood up from his black leather chair.
This gave the Potter Heir a better look at what his host was wearing, and the only thing Harry could say was that Lord William Potter was the spitting image of a bureaucrat. He wore what would be a gray three-piece suit, with the jacket hanging off a coat rack to Harry's right. The Lord also had a double shoulder holster over the waistcoat, the left holster holding the man's wand and the other holster on the right held a handgun.
As the figure grew closer, Harry found himself looking at the Lord's face. A face that held no emotion and looked as if it's been through many conflicts and wars. His hair was in a princeton style and was parted to his right. Going with the dirty hair were a pair of azure blue eyes that seemed to look through his soul.
"Heir Potter." Came the voice of the American Potter Lord, and to Harry's astonishment he didn't sound like he looked or have the feel the Lord gave him. "First may I say that it's a great honor to house a member from the main family and to know that it's the Heir of the Main Potter Family, my ancestors would be weeping tears of joy in their graves."
Harry nodded slowly as he took in the man's words, still amazed at how different the voice sounded to the looks and feeling the Lord gave him, yes the man's voice was hoarse and strict, but that didn't hide the emotions either.
Remembering who he was standing before, Harry gave a courtly bow and said. "Thank you Lord Potter, for allowing me to reside under your family's roof while I'm here. I promise it'll be like I was never here and I look forward to the next two years." Finishing, Harry stood straight, and when he looked to his host he watched as a smile dawned on the worn man's face.
A smile that quickly turned into a burst of laughter, revealing that the strict looking man had a sense of humor Harry wasn't expecting. "No Heir Potter! You needn't thank me in the slightest." The laugh stopped and as he held his hands behind his back. "It's more like I should be thanking you. To the members of the American branch, it's an honor and duty to allow anyone from the main branch reside here in America."
Harry nodded, still confused on what the man said, and out of habit he went to show his appreciation in thanks again.
—
"I swear Heir Potter. There is no need to thank me at all. I would also like to welcome you to call myself Uncle wh-." Lord Potter said as he placed a hand on the British heir's shoulder, not knowing that the boy didn't like people touching him, and brought horrid memories to the forefront of Harry's mind.
It wasn't until his sister grabbed his hand and forced it off his guest that he realized his fault. When he looked at the young lad, William was surprised to see dread and fear written all over the British boy's face.
"Because of Harry's past, which I won't tell you anything about, he has the fear of being touched by anyone he doesn't know or trust." Came the voice of the person who was gripping his hand, and when William looked into those familiar eyes, he saw the seriousness in them. "So, for the time being, don't lay a finger on Harry."
The American Potter Lord nodded, and pulled his hand away after it was released. Looking to his guest William saw the young lad standing behind his sister, his emerald eyes still filled with fear. "I… I'm sorry." He said quietly as his azure eyes looked to his sister. "Lord Charlus did mention something about this, but it seems the excitement clouded my mind."
William watched as Vicky rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, muttering something that he couldn't hear. Giving a small nervous chuckle after watching his sister turn to calm the British Heir, as William watched this he went back to his chair, and began thinking about what had just happened before him and the trauma that were at the forefront of Heir Hadrian's eyes. Yes he knew what trauma looked like he fought in the fucking Vietnamese War for fuck sake, he has seen grown men cry as their best friends got killed in front of them. And even if his trauma was different from that of the boy in front of him, he knew what trauma looked like.
Taking a deep breath with his interlocked hands hiding his eyes and elbows on his desk, William made a vow to his ancestors in that moment of silence that he won't let the Heir of House Potter feel as uncomfortable and filled with such fear, again under his roof. The American Potter opened his eyes and dropped his hands, allowing him to see how the young wizard was doing.
A great relief filled William when he found that all the fear that once blemished Hadrian's was gone, and the young boy's occlumency shields were back, all which were destroyed when he placed a hand on him. Looking to Vicky the Potter Lord watched as his sister nodded, giving him the notice that his guest was alright.
Looking back at the young wizard he watched as the Potter British Heir went to speak, but before a word could leave, William held a hand up stopping Hadrian from speaking. "Hadrian, I hope you don't mind me calling you that?" The boy shook his head nervously, and he continued. "I am sorry for what I just did, I was informed about your fear of being touched by your Great Grandfather. But the excitement of knowing a member of the main family coming to stay, just overtook all reason."
William stood to his feet and bowed. "So please accept this as my apology." He looked up and watched as Hadrian nodded, relieving an unknown weight from his shoulders. Standing straight, he continued. "With that over, I'd like to tell you that you need not be so formal with myself nor my family. You will be living under this roof for the next two years, coming here for school holidays and summer vacation, so you will be more of a family to us than others and we'd like you to see us as such. But if it takes you time to get comfortable with us then we'll wait."
He smiled at the boy in front of him and saw the shock in the lad's face. "Th-thank you Lord William." The Potter Heir said with a nod. "It-it'll take time but I'll try my best to see you and your family as my own family."
William nodded and sat back down in his leather chair. "And that is perfectly fine, Heir Potter." He said as he grabbed a piece of paper on his desk, going back to his lordly duty's. "Now with the introduction over I must get back to work. Hadrian, you will have a room to yourself, but don't take that as saying you can't wander the halls, you are welcome to traverse the Mansion and the areas around it. Just keep cautious on the boundaries and barriers around the property."
The Potter Lord watched as the boy nodded in thanks and was guided out by his young sister, but before the two of them left, William gave his last words. "Before you leave, my son still needs to get his school supplies. So in a few days my wife and children will be going out to shop for them. If you are interested, you are welcome to go with them." He finished as he began doing the paperwork. Unknown to him was the boy have a silent thank you for generosity as the British Potter Heir left with Victoria to show him his room for the next 2 years.

American Potter Family:
Coat of Arms: A shield before a crossed wand and musket, and in the shield were five quadrants, one in the center and four around it. The middle held the ever familiar Old English P. The one north of it held a slumbering griffin, to signify where the family came from and their origins. The east quadrant held a figure with his face hiding behind a cloak, with a wand in his right hand and a round stone in his skeletal hand(Ignotus Peverell and the Deathly Hallows). Below the middle held a scale, showing that the family held justice and equality. The last quadrant, the one to the west, held a lotus to show a rebirth of a new generation of Wizards and Witches in America.
