"Look at this,' said Heyes gesturing at the computer screen.

The Kid leaned over to peer at the text on the screen. "A new fanfic? About us?"

"Nah, it's the stupid so-called review of the fic. It's a scammer Kid. Look, this is a fake review mentioning how much the writing "inspired" this idiot!" Heyes waved his hands in the air and rolled his eyes. "Now he wants the writer to pay for art to go with the story. Can you believe that?"

The younger man contemplated that, a finger tapping his lips. "Aren't there other websites where lots of people do artwork for fictional characters? For free? If the writers wanted art to go with their stories, why not approach those people for a –"he squinted at the words on the screen, "collaboration on a story? Why pay some stranger who looks like all they do is manga and anime anyway…whatever that is?"

Heyes nodded emphatically. "But here's the best part, I've been reading up on this…they want to put their art on somebody else's work then post the whole thing online and make more money off it by charging people to read it! And that's a clear violation of copyright law and intellectual property as well. So they want writers to give them money for some lame computer generated art and then get them sued for it! What a bunch of idiots! Do you realize how many writers have been approached for money?"

"How in the world do they have all the free time necessary to go on line asking for writers for money?" The Kid shook his head. "Don't they have real jobs?"

"Nuh-uh. It's so much easier –" dripping with sarcasm, "to click on every new story posted on this fic site and paste in the same message to every poor writer who still uses it, instead of being on the newer, more secure site," Heyes muttered as he pushed 'Publish New Story'.
