Garrett soon returned, and looked over the paperwork that Lady Angara had finished. He then picked up the pile, and went to take care of his part. Just as he reached the door, Angara said something.

"Did you need something, my lady?" Garrett asked.

"On your way back, bring Zenon. I need him to tell me his solutions for the fields." Said Angara.

"Yes, my lady." Said Garrett.

It didn't take long, and Garrett was back with Zenon. Garrett opened the door, and led Zenon inside. Zenon stopped in front of the Lady's desk, and waited for her to look up. When she did, Zenon could see that she was not wanting excuses. He cleared his throat, and took in a deep breath.

"My lady, I was unable to come up with anything that wouldn't be considered as an excuse." Said Zenon.

"How did you become the Minister of Agriculture, if you can't figure out issues that plague the kingdom?" Angara asked.

Zenon became angry, and clenched his fists.

"I did my best, and you are saying it's not enough. I inherited this position from my father, he taught me how do this job." Said Zenon.

"I see. It seems that a child that was born in a normal village is more suited for the job than you, but unfortunately, I can't take it over, nor can I remove you right now." Said Angara.

"Then please, my lady. Tell me your idea." Said Zenon.

"If you don't fertilize the soil that is used for growing food, then you are just killing the soil. You need to fertilize the soil to replace what growing food takes from it." Said Angara.

The shocked look on Zenon's face was complete shock.

"Lady Mia said that it was unsanitary when I suggested something like that. She said that the fields would be fine." Said Zenon.

"Well, so in a way she's tried to destroy this kingdoms food sustainability. I guess that you know now what needs to be done." Said Angara.

"Yes, my lady. I will get the word out to the villages, explaining what needs to be done, and how to do it." Said Zenon.

"Then what are you still doing in my office." Said Angara.

Zenon then quickly went back to his office to get information ready to be taken out to the villages. Garrett had been watching, and was shocked on how Lady Angara was with Zenon. He needed to know why she spoke to Zenon as she did.

"My lady, can I ask why you spoke to him like that?" Garrett asked.

"He compared me to Lady Mia again. He may not have said it at the beginning of the meeting. On the other hand, I needed him to clear his mind so that the hint I gave him to take root." Said Angara.

"I see, but I wonder. Are you going to remove him?" Garrett asked.

"No, but from now on; inheriting a position will not continue. Going that route, only causes issues." Said Angara.

"What do you mean?" Garrett asked.

"If they know that their positions are not secure, then they will work hard, and use their heads; to make sure that they keep their positions. Maybe even stop comparing me to Lady Mia." Said Angara.

Garrett could see that working, but still didn't know how the other Ministers would take to the idea of not handing down their jobs to their sons. He then noticed the time, and said that he was going to eat. Angara looked up, and noticed the time, and said that she'd see him after lunch.

Angara was so focused on her work that a knock on the door caused her to jump. She told them to come in, and when the door opened, Serena peaked her head in.

"My lady, I came to let you know; lunch is ready." Said Serena.

"Thank you, I will be there in a moment." Said Angara.
