The sun was shining brightly over the village, as Ichigo, Grimmjow, and Wendy walked towards Roubaul's hut. Determination etched itself on their faces, though it manifested differently in each of them. Ichigo's jaw was set, his amber eyes wandered as he watched the villagers simply relax and enjoy the great weather. Grimmjow strode with his usual swagger, his smirk daring the world to defy him. Wendy, though visibly nervous, kept her head high. Her petite frame seemed to radiate a quiet but unwavering resolve.
The trio reached Roubaul's hut in silence, each lost in their thoughts. Ichigo knocked once and stepped inside, the others following close behind. Roubaul sat cross-legged in the center of the room, his calm yet resolute expression betraying the weight of what he was about to say. The air felt heavy, charged with the gravity of the moment.
"Welcome, children," Roubaul greeted, his voice steady, though his eyes lingered on each of them as if silently measuring their readiness. "I wish this were a mere visit, but you know why you're here. Today, we face the Oración Seis."
"We'll take them down," Ichigo said firmly, his voice cutting through the tension. "No matter what it takes."
Grimmjow chuckled and leaned against the wall, crossing his arms. "Spare us the speeches. Those bastards don't stand a chance."
Wendy clasped her hands tightly in front of her, her voice quiet but earnest. "We'll do our best, Master Roubaul. Everyone is counting on us."
Roubaul inclined his head slightly, studying them. "Indeed, and I have faith in you all. But you must understand, this is no ordinary battle. The Oración Seis are ruthless, and their power is immense. This mission will demand more than just strength; strategy and unity will be your greatest assets."
Ichigo stepped forward, his gaze sharp and focused. "What's the plan? Where are we meeting the others?"
"There's a rendezvous point north of the village gates," Roubaul explained. "Look for an isolated structure—it will be hard to miss. Other members of the resistance are already gathering there. I cannot stress enough the importance of cooperation. Each of you has a role to play." His gaze shifted pointedly to Grimmjow.
"Grimmjow," he said, his voice firm but not accusatory, "I know you prefer to fight alone, but this is not a battle you can win by yourself. I need your word that you'll work with the others."
Grimmjow's smirk faltered, and he let out a low growl. "Tch. Fine. I'll play nice—as long as they don't drag me down."
Roubaul allowed himself a small smile. "That will suffice. Just remember, pride can be as dangerous as any enemy."
He turned to Wendy, his expression softening. "Wendy, my dear, your strength is remarkable, but you are still young, and this mission will test you in ways you've never experienced. Stay close to your brothers, and trust in their protection."
Wendy straightened her back, determination flickering in her wide eyes. "I understand, Master. I'll be careful. Carla and I will head to the rendezvous point right away."
"Good," Roubaul said, pride evident in his voice. "Some of the resistance members should already be there. Go now—and may the wind guide you."
Wendy gave a small bow to Roubaul and a quick wave to her siblings. "See you soon!" she called, hurrying out of the hut.
Once she was gone, Roubaul's expression grew heavier. He turned to Ichigo and Grimmjow, his voice lower, carrying the weight of a deeper truth. "There's more you need to know. Wendy is strong, but she is not the only one who must tread carefully. The Oración Seis are not like any enemies you've faced. They are cunning and will not hesitate to exploit your weaknesses."
Ichigo crossed his arms, his tone unwavering. "We'll handle it. These guys won't be a problem."
Roubaul nodded but did not share the younger man's confidence. "Good. But remember this: Nirvana is their ultimate goal. If they succeed in releasing its power, the devastation will be unimaginable. Your mission is to destroy it—at all costs."
Ichigo frowned, his brow furrowing. "And after it's destroyed? What happens to you and Cait Shelter?"
A long silence followed, broken only by Roubaul's quiet sigh. "Once Nirvana is gone, my magic will dissipate, and my time in this world will end. I will find peace. But without my magic, Cait Shelter will no longer exist. The guild will disband."
Ichigo's eyes widened slightly as the realization struck him. Wendy. She would be devastated—not just by the loss of the guild, but by the truth that would inevitably come to light. Grimmjow noticed the look on Ichigo's face and scoffed.
"Don't get all sentimental, Shinigami," Grimmjow said, his tone sharp but underpinned by something almost reassuring. "We'll deal with Wendy when the time comes. Focus on the mission."
Ichigo nodded reluctantly. "Yeah, you're right."
Roubaul's gaze softened. "I will explain everything to her before I go," he promised. "But I cannot guarantee she will understand or forgive us. We've hidden the truth from her for so long. Be prepared for her anger—and her heartbreak." He informs them. "Now, go," Roubaul said, his voice regaining its authority. "The future of this land rests in your hands."
Ichigo and Grimmjow nodded and stepped out of the hut.
Wendy and Carla had been navigating the dense forest for a good while when the outline of a building began to materialize through the trees. It was modest but distinct, standing alone amid the greenery, just as Roubaul had described. Wendy's heart quickened at the sight.
"This should be it, right, Carla?" Wendy asked, glancing to her left where the white-furred feline padded gracefully beside her.
"From what you said about the Chief's explanation, it matches the description," Carla replied, her tone as composed as ever.
Wendy shifted her gaze back to the building, an unfamiliar mix of emotions bubbling inside her. The daunting thought of confronting a dark wizard guild threatened to overwhelm her nerves, but there was also a budding excitement—a chance to meet mages from other guilds, each carrying their own unique skills and stories. Her apprehension was overrun by the latter, and she found herself picking up her pace, eager to meet the group.
As she neared the entrance, her foot caught on a loose stone, and she stumbled forward, nearly falling. Her recovery was clumsy, and the noise drew the attention of everyone inside. Conversations came to an abrupt halt as dozens of eyes turned toward the doorway, locking onto her small frame.
"H-Hello," Wendy stammered, straightening herself and bowing slightly. "I'm Wendy Marvell, one of the mages sent from Cait Shelter."
For a moment, there was silence, followed by a low, skeptical voice. "What? They sent a kid?" A towering, bald man with a strong, imposing presence stepped forward, his brow furrowed as he scrutinized her. He then felt an odd aura rather around her, Her magic must be something special. His gaze drifted to the sword she carried, and his expression shifted slightly. 'Hmm, maybe there's more to this girl than meets the eye,' he thought. Finally, he offered a faint smile. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Wendy. I'm Jura of Lamia Scale. Welcome."
Before Wendy could respond, a sharp, feminine voice cut through the room. "I thought Cait Shelter was sending three wizards. And why would they send a child to a mission like this? It's completely dangerous, wouldn't you agree, Lyon?" The speaker was a woman with dark pink hair and piercing eyes, her tone laced with both curiosity and disapproval.
"It seems rather Idoitic if you asked me. Sending a kid on something like this." A man with silver hair answered.
"Don't underestimate her," Carla interjected, catching up to Wendy with a graceful leap to her shoulder. The Exceed's voice carried an air of authority that demanded attention. "Wendy is a very capable wizard." She then turned her sharp gaze on Wendy. "And mind your step, child. You nearly injured yourself before even entering the room."
"Sorry, Carla," Wendy murmured sheepishly.
As the conversation unfolded, Carla suddenly tensed, her fur standing slightly on edge. She felt a pair of eyes boring into her with an intensity that made her uncomfortable. Turning her head, she locked eyes with a small blue-furred cat standing beside a blonde girl. To Carla's astonishment, the cat's expression shifted dramatically—his pupils turned into heart shapes as he stared at her with unabashed adoration.
'Another Exceed? Here?' Carla's mind raced. She knew that eggs from her world had been scattered, but encountering another Exceed still managed to take her by surprise.
The blonde girl beside the blue cat smirked slyly, covering her mouth with her hand. "Oooh, you looove her don't you? Happy?" she teased, her voice dripping with playful mockery.
"It's weird when you say it Lucy!" the blue cat snapped back, his face flushing with embarrassment as he looked away from Carla.
Wendy, oblivious to the feline drama, straightened her posture and addressed the room again. "My brothers are on their way," she explained. "They had some things to discuss with our guild master before leaving."
As she spoke, she became acutely aware of a specific gaze resting on her. Turning her head slightly, she spotted a young man with spiky pink hair staring at her intently, his brow furrowed as if deep in thought.
'Why is he looking at me like that?' Wendy wondered, confused but too shy to confront him.
The boy's own thoughts mirrored her confusion. 'I feel like I've seen her before… but where?'
His musings were interrupted by a calm but commanding voice from the far side of the room. "Your brothers?"
The speaker was a woman with scarlet hair in armor, her posture regal and her tone both curious and measured. Wendy's attention snapped to her.
"Oh Wow! Your Erza Scarlet right? It's so cool to meet you and yes, ma'am," Wendy replied, bowing her head slightly out of respect. "Ichigo and Grimmjow should be here any moment."
"Well, I suppose we should wait for them before going over the plan," Jura said, addressing the room with a calm yet commanding presence.
The atmosphere settled slightly, though curiosity lingered in the air. The woman in armor turned her gaze to Wendy, her expression inquisitive. "Wendy, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of magic do you use?"
Before Wendy could answer, a shorter man with a sharp, observant look spoke up, his voice thoughtful. "Yes, and your scent—it's unusual. Your magic carries a distinct signature."
"Indeed," Jura added with a nod. "I can sense it. Your magic is powerful, far beyond what one would expect from someone your age."
Wendy straightened her posture, feeling the weight of their attention. "I use Sky Dragon Slayer Magic," she explained. "It's a combination of combat and support magic. My brothers taught me how to fight."
Her words hung in the air for a moment before the room collectively reacted, surprise etched on every face except Carla's.
"What? You're a Dragon Slayer?" A young man with black hair looked at her, his tone a mix of shock and intrigue. He glanced toward the spiky-haired boy beside him, who looked like he was ready to jump out of his seat. "You seem a little too excited about this, Natsu."
"No way!" Natsu's face broke into a wide grin. "You too?!"
Wendy turned to him, blinking in confusion. "What do you mean? Are you a Dragon Slayer as well?"
"You bet I am!" Natsu replied, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. "I'm the Fire Dragon Slayer!" His chest puffed out with pride. "Were you also raised by a dragon?"
"Yes," Wendy said, her expression softening. "I was raised by Grandeeney, but… she disappeared suddenly, and I haven't seen her since."
At her words, Natsu's grin faltered, replaced by a somber expression. "So it happened to you too, huh?" he murmured. "Igneel disappeared years ago. Same thing happened to Gajeel—he was raised by a dragon too, but they vanished without a trace."
Wendy's eyes widened. "There's… another Dragon Slayer?"
Natsu nodded. "Yeah, Gajeel's the Iron Dragon Slayer. It's like all our dragons just up and left around the same time."
The revelation left Wendy stunned. Meeting one Dragon Slayer was a surprise, but learning there were others, each sharing a similar fate, was overwhelming.
Before she could process it further, Natsu stepped forward, his curiosity rekindled. "Wendy, I've got a few questions for you—"
"Wait a minute, Natsu," the scarlet-haired woman interjected, her tone firm but not unkind. "We need to focus on the Oración Seis for now. You can talk to Wendy after we deal with them."
"But, Erza—" Natsu began, only to be cut off by another voice.
"We get it, Natsu," said the black-haired boy, his tone laced with exasperation. "But now isn't the time. Her brothers aren't even here yet, and we're about to go over the plan. Try to focus."
"Not you too, Gray!" Natsu groaned, throwing his hands in the air.
Gray smirked. "Someone has to keep you in line."
The exchange brought a flicker of amusement to the tense room, and Wendy couldn't help but smile slightly at the banter. It was clear that, despite the gravity of their mission, this group had a bond forged in camaraderie and trust.
"Let's hold off on personal questions for now," Jura said gently, redirecting the conversation. "Once her brothers arrive, we'll begin the briefing. Until then, let's focus on the task ahead."
"Well while we wait, why don't we take a seat, lovely lady." A masculine voice spoke next to Wendy as she felt a hand on her back. She looks up to see a blonde haired man in a suit and tie.
"Hibiki is as subtle as always, huh, Ren? " a short blonde-haired boy remarked dryly.
"Seems not, Eve. She'll be quite the looker when she is older" another man in a similar suit agreed.
The room's lighthearted atmosphere froze when a deep, commanding voice cut through.
"What the hell do you think you're doing with your hand on Wendy?"
Ichigo and Grimmjow moved swiftly through the dense forest, the silence between them stretching until it was broken by Grimmjow's voice.
"You got any ideas on what to do after this is over?" he asked, his tone casual but curious.
Ichigo glanced at him before replying, "I've got a few. Maybe we should find a town to settle in. The village is nice and all, but I think it's time for something more modern. Plus, we could consider joining one of the guilds we're about to meet."
Grimmjow nodded, smirking slightly. "Yeah, that makes sense. That hut's too damn small anyway."
Ichigo chuckled at the comment. "You're not wrong about that."
As they continued, the building Roubaul had described came into view. The door was open, and they could see a group of people gathered inside.
"Looks like they've already started," Ichigo remarked, his tone calm.
"Yeah, looks that way—" Grimmjow stopped mid-sentence, his expression shifting into a deep scowl. His pace quickened, surprising Ichigo, who immediately matched his stride.
"Are you doing okay?" Ichigo asked, concern evident in his voice.
"Well while we wait, why don't we take a seat, lovely lady." A voice was heard.
Grimmjow's scowl only deepened hearing that as they reached the entrance, stepping inside, The group didn't notice as they seemed to be in conversation.
Before anyone could even acknowledge them, Grimmjow's voice thundered, cutting through the silence like a blade.
"What the hell do you think you're doing with your hand on Wendy?"
The voice thundered through the room, silencing all conversation. Everyone turned toward the newcomers, their attention immediately drawn to the intense, menacing aura radiating from one of the men—a blue-haired figure whose sharp gaze was locked onto Hibiki.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Ren questioned, his tone wary as he addressed the blue-haired man.
Hibiki, however, remained silent, his face pale. Grimmjow's piercing glare was enough to freeze him in place.
"I'm not going to ask again." Grimmjow's voice was low and threatening, his words cutting through the tense silence like a blade. Ignoring Ren entirely, his focus remained solely on Hibiki. A deep blue glow began to emanate from him, and suddenly, a crushing pressure enveloped the room.
It felt as though gravity itself had intensified tenfold. Most of the room staggered or fell to their knees, their breaths shallow as they struggled to withstand the force. Only Wendy appeared somewhat unaffected, though even she felt the weight pressing down on her. Unlike the others, she seemed accustomed to it, standing steady as she approached her brothers with a bright smile. Which makes every eye her as well. It is clear that they're assumptions about her were way off the mark.
"You guys are here!" Wendy chirped, her voice cutting through the oppressive atmosphere as she moved to stand between them.
"Calm down, Grimmjow," Ichigo said firmly, stepping forward with an air of authority. "We're supposed to be cooperative, remember?"
Grimmjow didn't break his glare at Hibiki, his scowl deepening. "Tell that to the guy who thought touching Wendy was appropriate," he retorted.
"I don't like it either," Ichigo admitted, his tone even as he eyed Hibiki, "but this isn't the place for it. We're here to work with them, not start a fight."
Grimmjow held his gaze for a moment longer before letting out an annoyed huff. With a visible effort, he withdrew his aura, the crushing pressure vanishing as quickly as it had appeared.
The group collectively gasped for air, their bodies trembling as they regained control.
"What… the hell was that?" Gray managed to say between breaths, his voice shaky.
"I couldn't even move," Lucy added, fear evident in her wide eyes. "It felt like my whole body was pinned down…"
"That must have been some kind of Gravity Magic." Erza speculated, her composed voice cutting through the room as she recovered quicker than most. Her sharp gaze moved to Ichigo and Grimmjow, appraising them.
Meanwhile, Natsu's reaction was entirely different. Despite the lingering tension, an excited grin spread across his face, his hands trembling—not from fear, but from sheer exhilaration. His thoughts raced as he recalled the suffocating power that had rendered everyone in the room powerless. 'These guys must be insanely strong!' His grin widened as his blood began to pump with excitement. 'I've gotta see if they'll fight me once this mission's done!'
The room settled into uneasy silence as Ichigo placed a calming hand on Wendy's shoulder, his calm demeanor contrasting sharply with the chaos moments before.
"Sorry about that." Ichigo said, his tone polite yet firm as his amber eyes scanned the room. "We're from the Cait shelter guild, and we're here to assist with the Oración Seis."
Grimmjow crossed his arms, his expression still sour but no longer threatening. "Just keep your hands to yourself," he muttered, glaring briefly at Hibiki before stepping back.
The group exchanged uncertain glances, still processing the sheer presence of Wendy's brothers. It was clear these two were no ordinary mages, and the weight of their strength hung heavily in the air.
The air in the room shifted as Jura addressed the two newcomers, his authoritative voice commanding attention. "Finally, it seems you have arrived." His gaze settled on Ichigo. "Your sister informed us that you would be a little late. However, I'm not certain which name belongs to whom. Are you Ichigo?"
"Yeah, I'm Ichigo Kurosaki," the orange-haired man replied, his tone steady and calm.
"Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez," the blue-haired man followed up swiftly, his voice edged with impatience.
Jura nodded, his expression measured. "With you two here, we can begin discussing the plan and move forward."
Before Jura could continue, Lyon interjected, his gaze fixed on Grimmjow. "Hold on, Jura. Before we proceed—what in the world was that just now? Are you a Gravity Magic user?"
"No," Grimmjow replied curtly, his tone as sharp as his glare.
Wendy stepped forward, her cheerful voice breaking the tension. "Grimmjow-nii uses Lightning Devil Slayer magic, and Ichigo-nii has Shadow God Slayer magic." She spoke as if the revelation was the most natural thing in the world.
The room fell silent, stunned yet again by this family's extraordinary abilities.
"It seems your family is full of powerful mages," Lyon said cautiously, his uncertainty clear in his voice. 'Just what is going on with these two?' he wondered.
Erza's piercing eyes narrowed slightly as she focused on Grimmjow. "Wait, did you say Lightning Devil Slayer magic?" She paused, her expression contemplative. "I assume you're the wizard who worked with Cana?"
Grimmjow crossed his arms, his posture radiating a mix of defiance and disinterest. "Yeah, that's me," he admitted.
"Well," Erza began, her tone softening as she offered a respectful bow, "on behalf of the Fairy Tail guild, we owe you our thanks."
Grimmjow raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised. "Why is that?"
Gray echoed his confusion. "Yeah, why?"
Erza straightened, her voice firm yet appreciative. "From what Master Makarov told me, Cana was injured during a mission you both took together, and you saved her life."
The revelation shifted the atmosphere in the room once more. All eyes turned to Grimmjow, the weight of his earlier display tempered by this unexpected act of heroism.
"This guy was the one who helped her?" Lucy asked aloud, her voice tinged with lingering fear but also a growing sense of relief. Knowing he'd saved one of her guildmates softened her initial apprehension.
Grimmjow shrugged, his expression indifferent. "She would've died if I didn't step in. It wasn't a big deal."
To him, it was nothing worth mentioning, but to the Fairy Tail members, it added a new layer of complexity to their perception of him. Despite his intimidating aura, Grimmjow had demonstrated a willingness to protect others, even at great personal risk.
"Can we move on now?" Grimmjow said, his tone impatient. "I didn't come here to talk about the past."
Jura nodded, reclaiming the room's attention. "Very well. Let us begin."
"Wait!" The short man from earlier spoke up standing on a carpet with lights that seemingly came out of nowhere.
"What is boss!?" The three boys in a suit a tie answered in unison
"Before we start I need to use the restroom as he begins to waddle away.
"Good luck sir Ichiya!" the three spoke together again
Everyone else in the room deadpanned at the antics. Meanwhile hidden in a closet, two small blue creatures stare at Ichiya.
As Ichiya made his dramatic return, the group turned their attention to the mission briefing. "I have returned, man!" he announced flamboyantly, striking a dramatic pose. "Now to begin, Hibiki!"
"Yes, sir!" Hibiki promptly activated his Archive Magic. A holographic screen and keyboard appeared in front of him as he began typing swiftly.
"That seems to be Archive Magic," Jura observed, nodding in approval.
"And what does it do?" Ichigo asked, his curiosity piqued.
"It stores and displays information," Hibiki explained, as additional screens materialized, each showing an individual's photo and details. "We have intel on our enemies."
The group listened closely, their focus sharpening.
"First, we have the snake wizard, Cobra," Hibiki said, displaying an image of a man with a large purple snake coiled around his body.
"This guy looks like nothing but trouble. That smirk says it all—he's up to no good," Natsu declared confidently.
Gray and Lyon exchanged knowing glances, not surprised at Natsu's lack of self-awareness.
"Next, we have Racer, a wizard we assume has speed magic based on his name," Hibiki continued, showing a man with a long nose and a lean build.
"Then we have Hoteye," he said, pulling up an image of a hefty man with a rocky, almost grotesque face. "He's a mercenary, willing to do anything for the right price, including murder."
"Sounds like someone to watch out for," Gray commented, his voice steady despite the tension in the room.
"Next is Angel," Hibiki said, showing a photo of a woman with striking white hair. "While she's beautiful, she's equally dangerous."
Lucy frowned, her gaze lingering on the image. "She doesn't look like a threat," she muttered, but the others knew better than to judge by appearances.
"Then there's this guy." Hibiki brought up a photo of a young man with jet-black hair. "Midnight. We don't have much intel on him besides his name."
"I wonder if that has something to do with his power," Erza mused aloud, her analytical mind already at work.
"Lastly, there's the leader: Brain." The final image revealed a man with shoulder-length white hair and intricate black markings on his face and body.
"This group seems... intense." Wendy commented, her gaze lingering on the screen.
"That's an overstatement," Grimmjow smirked, his arms crossed. His sharp eyes assessed. These guys look like a let down. Everyone would have said something but considering Grimmjow's earlier show of power they dont want to argue, everyone besides Jura.
"They're strong, believe that Grimmjow" Jura said gravely. "But we have strength on our side as well. If we work together, we can overcome them."
Ichiya, his voice full of enthusiasm, raised his hand dramatically. "However, there's no need for us to engage in direct combat! Observe!" He struck yet another exaggerated pose as Hibiki brought up a large holographic screen. It displayed a massive, horse-shaped vehicle. "This is the Magical Bomber, a weapon attached to Christina, which comes from our proud Pegasus Guild! It's our ultimate treasure!" Ichiya announced, his chest puffed out with pride.
Grimmjow's eye twitched at the sight of the flamboyant gesture. "Those poses... are a little much," he muttered, barely containing his irritation.
Gray snickered, glancing at Lucy. "I dunno, they're starting to grow on me."
Lucy, however, had been listening intently, a question burning on her mind. "Hey, guys… what exactly are they after?"
"Ah, excellent question, my dear!" Ichiya responded, his dramatic tone returning. "Deep within the forest lies an ancient power, a creation of a long-forgotten civilization. This power is known as Nirvana!"
"Nirvana?" Lucy repeated, her brow furrowing. She wasn't sure if she liked where this was going.
Ren, ever the pragmatist, stepped forward. "We don't know much about this magic, except that it's extremely destructive."
"They're after it because it could shift the balance of power in the world," Hibiki added with a grim expression.
Ichiya nodded, the light in his eyes dimming slightly as he continued. "They want to wield it. If they gain control of Nirvana, they could use it to wreak havoc on everything in their path."
Sherry, ever the skeptic, turned to Jura. "Do you know what this power actually does?"
Jura shook his head slowly, a look of confusion on his face. "No. I've heard of it, but no one knows what it really is or how it works. The ancient tribe that created it vanished long ago, and so did their secrets."
Ichigo stepped forward, his eyes focused and determined. The room fell silent as everyone turned their attention to him.
"I know what it does," Ichigo said, his voice firm. "Nirvana is a weapon of immense power. It was created by the Nivirt tribe, who once lived in this very forest. Its magic has the ability to invert light and darkness within people."
"Light and darkness?" Jura asked, his curiosity piqued but still confused.
Grimmjow cut in, his tone flat and blunt. "It means it can turn good people bad and bad people good."
The words hung in the air, and a murmur of disbelief rippled through the group. The implications were staggering.
"Wait… so this thing can mess with people's hearts? Change who they are?" Gray asked, his voice laced with unease.
Lucy's eyes widened. "That's terrifying. If the wrong person gets their hands on it, they could turn anyone against us—our allies, our friends. Everyone would be at risk."
Gray raised an eyebrow, his arms crossed in slight confusion. "So, all we have to do is control our emotions and we'll be fine?" His gaze shifted between Ichigo and Grimmjow, clearly looking for clarification.
Grimmjow, standing with his arms casually crossed, nodded firmly. "That's basically the gist of it. If you can keep your emotions in check, Nirvana can't mess with you."
"That's only the first stage of it though, once it reaches its second stage it can do it without you having to even lift a finger." Ichigo adds
Erza's eyes narrowed as she turned her sharp gaze from Grimmjow to Ichigo. The tension in the air thickened. "How do you two know so much about this thing?" she asked, her voice low and measured. "It seems a little... suspicious."
Jura, who had been quiet until now, leaned forward in his seat. He shared Erza's concerns, his expression thoughtful. "I must admit, I too am curious. How do you know so much about this power?" He asked, his tone not accusatory, but probing.
Grimmjow's response came immediately, his tone sharp as a blade. "What? Is it so suspicious that we actually know something about this thing? Be grateful that we know what we're dealing with. It's better than stumbling around in the dark." His eyes flashed with impatience.
Erza held his gaze for a moment, her piercing eyes not backing down. "It's not that we're ungrateful," she said carefully. "But we need to know why you two are so well-versed in something like this. We're not just dealing with any ordinary magic."
"Actually, they aren't the only ones." Hibiki stepped forward, his expression serious but conflicted. The room fell silent as everyone turned toward him. Hibiki's face softened with a sigh. "I know about this magic," he said, his voice steady but tinged with unease.
The others exchanged glances, surprised. Erza's eyes narrowed slightly, and Gray raised an eyebrow, silently urging Hibiki to elaborate.
"I didn't want to say anything earlier," Hibiki continued, his tone almost apologetic, "because I didn't want to risk it affecting anyone. But now that it's out in the open... I guess there's no reason not to share." He paused for a moment, his eyes flicking to Ichigo and Grimmjow, before addressing the group at large. "If Nirvana is unsealed, it will emit a beam of light into the sky. Once that happens, it will seek out anyone in a weakened mental or emotional state."
A murmur ran through the room, and the weight of Hibiki's words sank in. He continued, his voice more somber. "When Nirvana reaches its second stage, that's when it can truly invert light and darkness—turning good people evil and evil people good."
The room went still as the full magnitude of the situation hit everyone.
"That's why these people need to be stopped," Ichigo spoke up, his voice firm. His eyes met Hibiki's briefly, understanding the gravity of what they were facing.
Jura nodded, his face set in a serious expression. "Now that we understand what it does, we can be more vigilant. We must be wary of its power at all costs." He stood tall, his gaze sweeping over the group. "Now, it's time to make our move. We'll strike before they can unleash Nirvana's full potential."
Hibiki gave a final, sharp nod. "We'll stop them before they can activate it."
Jura straightened, his leadership coming to the forefront. "We must begin our plan and set forth immediately. We cannot waste time. Our primary target is the Oración Seis. Time to move out!"
Without another word, everyone nodded in agreement, bracing themselves for the inevitable battle that awaited them. Each person's expression was determined—this wasn't just about stopping a group of dangerous individuals. It was about preventing a catastrophe that could alter the very fabric of good and evil in the world.
Grimmjow smirked, his eyes glinting with fierce anticipation. "Finally," he muttered, his voice low but eager. Without hesitation, he strode toward the door, his pace quickening as he made his way to the battlefield.
But just as he reached for the door, a flash of bright pink hair darted past him, nearly knocking him aside.
"You're right about that, I'm all fired up!" Natsu's exuberant voice rang out as he sped toward the exit, bursting through the doors with a single, powerful kick. The heavy wooden doors splintered and shattered under the force of his entrance, the sound of destruction echoing down the hallway.
Grimmjow's grin widened, a savage approval in his eyes. "I like this one," he muttered under his breath, watching Natsu charge ahead, all fire and fury. Without hesitation, Grimmjow's own predatory grin stretched across his face as he pushed forward, sprinting to catch up. "I'm not letting him find the first fight."
The rest of the group, though a bit surprised by Natsu's recklessness, quickly followed suit. There was no time to waste. Nirvana and the Oración Seis were still out there, and their mission had just become a race against time.
"Let's move!" Erza called, her voice commanding as she led the way, her sword at the ready.
And just like that, the group burst into action. The battlefield awaited them, and with it, the threat of Nirvana's dark power. The moment of preparation was over. Now, it was time for them to act.
However they didn't notice a feminine figure standing far in the distance, observing them closely more specifically, Ichigo.
Hey everyone hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. I'm happy to be able to put out a new chapter and I'm already working on the next one that should be out in a while. Thank you for reading!
