Allison McFly was always a hard sleeper, almost nothing could wake her up. She slept next door to Marty, her twin brother. Part of the ceiling was slanted and her bed was underneath it. Posters of her favorite movies and singers were hanging on the walls, which were of Cyndi Lauper, Queen, Eddie Van Halen, Bon Jovi, and Duran Duran.

The movie posters were of Cujo, Stand by Me, The Outsiders, Top Gun, Risky Business, The Shining, The Breakfast Club, and Poltergiest.

There was a desk adjacent to the bed with music sheets, books, pencils. Beside the desk, was a Sawtooth Candy Apple Red Electric Guitar with a pearl white pickguard. It was a gift from her parents when she and Marty turned 13 years old.

Allison had short brown hair that is rough, has grey eye blue eyes. Unlike her twin brother, his hair is much sandier than hers and his eyes are darker blue. Both have freckles on their faces, but Allison has a tad more muscle.

Marty was about a foot taller than her, letting her reach up to his shoulders. She was frequently teased by not only her brother, but by her boyfriend, Michael also. They have been dating for over a year, while Marty and his girlfriend Jennifer had dated about two years.

When Allison and Michael started dating, Marty was the only one of their family who was protective of her. Even though Michael was a nice guy, Marty kept his eyes on the guy.

She didn't hear the door open to her room. "Allie, wake up!" Marty shouted, throwing a pillow onto her, hitting her head.

"Ow! What the hell, Marty?" she grumbled, looking up at him through her tired eyes. "Get up, we're gonna be late for school," he said with a chuckle. Allie stretched her body and sat up. "Too damn early..." she muttered, standing up.

She already missed the warmth of her bed. She grabbed a light grey spaghetti-strap undershirt, a black sweater, black jeans with small tears in the right knee, and small tears in the left leg. She grabbed her grey fleece/black leather jacket and jumped into the shower.

After she got dressed, she went back to her room to get her grey converse shoes. "Marty, are we swinging by Doc's before we go to school?" Ally called.

"Yeah! Maybe he'll be back from whatever he is," the elder twin said, leaning against the doorway.

He wore reamd t-shirt with a white plaid overshirt with black suspenders, his denim jacket with a spotted interior, and light blue jeans

Ally grabbed her skateboard, threw her backpack on her shoulders and picked up her guitar case. Thankfully it wasn't too heavy for her to carry.

They left their house and made their way to Dic Brown's place.

(Doc's Place)

When they arrived, they weren't surprised to see that the front door was locked. Marty found the key under the mat and unlocked the door.

"Hey, Doc?" He said, looking inside the lab/house. There were several different clocks hanging on b the wall, ticking simultaneously. There was also a clipping of the Brown Estate being burnt to the ground.

There was also a automatic dog feeder, pouring wet food onto Einstein's bowl. Einstein is Doc's dog.

A television was on, explaining how plutonium was stolen two weeks ago from a powerplant.

The teens walk inside of the lab, looking around as they put their skateboards on the floor. "Doc, you here?" Ally called, but received no answer. "No surpise. He's not here," she continued.

As Ally walked around, Marty noticed that Einstein's bowl was already filled with old dog food. "Ugh, god," he said in disgust, kicking his skateboard backwards with his heel gently.

The skateboard rolled across the floor and hit a yellow box that was under the bed. "What?" Ally said, turning around after setting her guitar on one of the lab tables that was next to a large amplifier that is used for electric guitars and such.

"That's disgusting. *looks around* Where the hell is he?" she asked, walking around the lab. While she was doing that, Marty hooked his guitar up to the amplifier, turning the dials all the way up. There was a low humming sound that came from the large machine.

Marty stepped back, looking over at his sister with his sunglasses covering his eyes. "Allie, watch the master at work," he said, holding up his right arm, holding his guitar pick.

Allie turned around to look at him. "This should be good," Allie said, walking over to where her brother is. She stood behind on his right side, but she was also in the way of the on-coming blast.

When Marty strummed the guitar, it made a loud noise, and the teens were sent flying back into a bookshelf. Marty landed in Doc's recliner while Allie was sent to the floor.

The bookshelf behind them fell over, dropping all of its contents on top of them until they were both buried under them. Papers, binders, work stuff that Doc used for his experiments.

Allie sat up, getting all the stuff off of her. Marty, however, was still buried under the debris, only his legs visible. "Marty, you okay there?" she asked, watching him as he slowly emerged from the pile of papers.

"Yeah, I'm good. You?" he asked, lifting his sunglasses up to reveal his eyes. "Yeah, didn't hurt me too bad," she said, helping him stand up.

They both look at the now amplifier, which had been blown into pieces. "Whoa..." Allie said sofftly, watching a piece of the amplifier fall from the machine.

"Rock and Roll," Marty said with a sly grin. Then, the phone above them started buzzing loudly. They both run to the phone and Marty picked it up.

"Yo?" Marty said into the phone. "Marty, is that you? Is Allison with you?" Doc's voice said, coming through the phone. "Yeah, we're both here. Where are you, Doc?" Marty asked, nearly tripping over the fallen debris, the phone still in his hands.

Allie was behind him. "Doc, where have you been all week?" she asked. Marty put the phone on speaker so the both of them can hear him.

"Working," Doc said rather quietly. Marty set the phone on a table that was beside a pillar in the lab. "Where's Einstein? Is he with you?" Marty asked. "Yeah, he's right here," Doc answered.

Allie glanced around the room again and said, "Y'know, Doc, you're equipment has been on all week," "My equipment? Oh, that reminds me. Marty, Allison, you two beetter not plug those guitars of yours into the amplifier, there's a slight possiblity of overload," Doc tells them, not knowing that Marty already blew it up.

The twins look back at the amplifier and both suck in a sharp breath. "Now he tells us," Allie whisperered to Marty. "Yeah, really," he whispered back. "Um, yeah, we'll keep that in mind," Marty said at a normal level of sound.

"Listen, you two, this is important, can you two meet me at the Twin Pines Mall at 1:15 tonight?" Doc asked. "Why?" Allie asked. "I've made a major breakthrough and I'll need your assistance," Doc answered quickly.

"You mean late tonight?" Marty asked. "Yes," Doc said to confirm this. "Why so late at night?" Allie asked. "I'lll explain later, you two don't forget now!" Doc exclaimed, going no further with the explanation.

Suddenly, all the clocks struck 8:00, all of their alarms went off. The sound of the clocks going off startled the twins and they turned around to face the clocks.

Allie grabbed Marty's arm as a reflex from the abrupt sound. "Are those my clocks I hear?" Doc asked, hearing the clocks too.

"Y-Yeah! It's 8:00!" Marty shouted over the ringing clocks. "Perfect! The experiment worked! They're all exactly 25 minutes slow!" Doc exclaimed in excitement.

The twins paused for a moment, trying to think about what he said. Marty's eyebrows scrunched together in confusion.

"Wait, wait a minute, Doc! Are you telling us that it's 8:25?!" Marty shouted. "Precisely!" Doc answered.

"Damn! We're late for school!" Allie shouted, hanging the phone up with the touch of a button

Hey, you guys. I decided to rewrite this story. I hope this opening is better than the first one.
