(Late for School)

Ally and Marty quickly grab their skateboards, rush out of Doc's house, and out of the gate. Ally jumped on her skateboard and pushed herself forward so that she was rolling forward.

"C'mon, you slowpoke!" Ally shouted over her shoulder. "I'm coming! You got a head start!" Marty grumbled, pushing himself forward on his skateboard.

Both grabbed onto the back of a passing pick-up truck. The truck drove through Hill Valley square, letting go of the truck and caught a jeep when they got there.

The square was lively today, people were everywhere. They drove by a yoga class that used to be a diner. Marty and Ally waved to them through the windows, to which the instructor waved back.

In the middle of the square, was the famous clock tower with the one statue of a mountain lion on each side of the clock. However, the clock itself wasn't working; it was stuck on 10:05 because of a lightning storm that struck it thirty years ago.

(Hill Valley High School)

The twins make it to the school, hoping they weren't late. Ally's boyfriend, Michael was leaning against the school steps.

"Hey, Mike," Ally said, jumping off of her skateboard and jogging to her boyfriend. "Hey, you guys," Michael said, giving Ally a hug and a kiss.

"We're not late, are we?" Ally asked. Jennifer came out from the front doors. "Yeah, you guys can't go through the front. Strickland's looking for you two. If you two get caught, it'll be four tardies in a row," Jennifer said to them, pulling Marty by his sleeve.

They ran around the side of the school to get inside

(Main Hallway)

They make it inside and walk to a corner. Jennifer looked around the corner and didn't see anybody there. "Okay, it's clear," she said.

"Oh, thank god. There's no way that we can get in trouble for this," Ally said, feeling her boyfriend's arm wrapped her shoulders.

They start walking down the hallway. The siblings hold their skateboards under their arms. Put her guitar over her right shoulders.

"What happened this time?" Michael asked. "Eh, it wasn't our fault this time. Doc set all his clocks twenty-five minutes slow," Marty answered, wrapping his arm around Jennifer's shoulders.

Suddenly, their vice principal, Mr. Strickland, grabbed Marty's shoulder with a hard grip, stopping them in their tracks.

"Doc?" he said to them. All of the teens stopped and groaned inwardly. They had to deal with Strickland every day. It was becoming annoying.

"Am I understanding that you two are still hanging around Doc Brown?" He said, pulling out four tardy slips, giving one to each of the teens.

"Let me give you two a nickel's worth of advice: This Doctor Brown is dangerous. He's a real nutcase. The both of you hang around him any longer and you both are going to be in real trouble," Strickland told them as they walked down the hallway.

"Oh, yes sir," Marty sarcastically said. "Blah, blah, blah. We get it." Strickland shoved Marty pretty hard on the shoulders. "You two got a real attitude, Mcfly! You and that sister of yours are slackers! You two remind me of your old man when he was coming here, he was a slacker too!" Strickland berated.

Ally sighed in annoyance. "As entertaining as this is, I think we're done here. Can we please go now?" she asked sarcastically. Micheal cracked a smile at his girlfriend's snarky attitude. It was one of the reasons why he loved her.

They were about to walk away but Strickland held them back again. "I hear that band of yours is on the roster for band auditions after school today. Why do you two even bother? You two are just like your old man. No McFly ever amounted to anything in the history of Hill Valley!" Strickland shouted, getting nose to nose with Marty.

'Jeez, can he sound anymore of an asshole?' Ally thought to herself. Micheal wrapped an arm around his girlfriends' shoulders. "Yeah, well, history is gonna change," Marty optimistically said.

"Let's get outta here, guys," he said, making head gesture down the hallway. The four teenagers walk down the hall to make it to their homerooms. They couldn't wait for the day to end so they could practice with the band.

(At School)

Ally had always loved performing with Marty in their band, which was called The Pinheads. She was the second bassist. Other than the accident with Doc's amplifier, they were pretty talented musicians. Micheal and Jennifer would stay on the side so they could watch them perform.

When it was their turn, Marty and Ally walked up on stage with their guitars at the ready. The siblings took a glance at their significant others and they were given a thumbs up in return.

"Alright," Marty said, grabbing the microphone and spoke into it, "We're The Pinheads," He had spoken to the four judges that were on the gym floor. The band started to play their song of choice, which was The Power of Love by Huey Lewis The News.

Ally swung her guitar as she played along with Marty. The judges weren't at all impressed about their performance, and the blank expressions on their faces really showed it. The main judge picked up a bullhorn that laid next to him.

"Alright, that's enough. Hold it, hold it!" he shouted through the bullhorn. The band stopped playing instantly. Marty and Ally lowered their guitars and stared at the cynical judge. They couldn't understand why he had cut them off before they started to sing. "I'm afraid you are too loud," the judge said, shaking his head in a disapproving way.

Marty and Ally looked at each other then at their significant others, who were looking at them with sympathetic looks on their faces. They couldn't believe that they were shut down like that, making them feel discouraged.

(The Town Square)

The four teens make their way to the town square. There were a lot of people driving their cars and walking through the middle parking lot of the square. Even there was a white van with a picture of the mayor on it driving around the town, having three smaller bullhorns on the top. It was telling the citizens to re-elect Goldie Wilson as mayor.

"Too loud. Unbelievable. If this keeps up, Ally and I won't be able to play in front of anyone," Marty grumbled, clearly sulking about the whole thing. "Marty, you guys can't let one rejection get the better of you," Jennifer said.

"Agh, maybe we're just not cut out for the music industry," Ally said, feeling just as discouraged as her brother. "Don't say that, Ally. You guys are great. And that audition tape of yours is amazing. You guys gotta send it into the record company," Micheal said as he pulled out the audition tape from his pocket and he pressed it to Marty's chest.

"What was it that Doc was always tell you guys?" Jennifer started, only to be cut off by Marty. "We know, we know. If you put your mind to anything, you can accomplish it," Marty said. "It's not like we haven't heard that a million times before," Ally said, rolling her eyes. Sometimes, Ally would write the songs for the band.

Writing music had been a passion of hers since she was 7 years old and they've gotten better since then. The band has been successful because of her help.

"It's good advice, you two," Micheal said, sitting on the top of the bench. "Yeah, but what if they don't like the tape when we send it in?" Marty asked unsurely.

"Yeah, they could say 'Get out of here, kids. You got no future ahead of you. I don't know if Marty and I can take that kind of rejection," Ally added, sputtering her lips.

They walk to a bench that sat many feet from a table with two ladies asking for donations for the broken clock tower.

"Jesus, were starting to sound like our old man," Ally continued, sitting down on the back of the bench with her guitar leaning against her leg. Jennifer started to tie her shoe on the bench seat.

"C'mon, Ally, he isn't that bad," Jennifer said to her. "Yeah, be happy that he's letting Marty borrow the car tomorrow night. And we're going to do some karaoke," Michael said, seeing his dad's truck coming.

"Aw, shit. It's my dad. I gotta get going. I'll see you guys later. I'll call you tonight, Ally," he said, kissing Ally real quick before he left. Ally, Jennifer, and Marty said bye to him before he left.

Marty stood on the bench and saw a delivery truck driving up to the Texaco gas station. It was carrying a jet black1985 Toyota SR-5 with its yellow-capped KC Daylighter spotlights on the roll bar on the back of it and it had four door on it.

"Check out that 4x4! That is hot! Someday, Jennifer. Someday," Marty said, aweing at the truck. He would talk the time to marvel at certain things.

He took Jennifer by the hand to where they both were standing up. Ally grinned up at them. That's what her boyfriend would do.

"Wouldn't it be great to take that truck up to the lake, throw a few sleeping bags in the back and see the stars?" he said, gently grabbing her waist, making her giggle. "Stop it," she said.

They sit down on the top of the bench with Ally. "Does your mom know where you guys are going?" Jennifer asked. Marty smirked at her question.

"Nah, get out of town. Our mom thinks I'm going camping with the guys," Marty said. "Yeah, she thinks I'm hanging out at my other friends' place to do some studying. Plus I got us both covered. Although, I gotta make Marty pay up," Ally said, elbowing her brother in the ribs.

"What?! You're just now bringing this up?!" Marty said in shock. Ally laughed at his reaction. "I'm just kidding. Plus, you know what mom would say if she found out. She would tell us how she never did that kind of stuff when she was a kid. Or how dad never had gone off with other women other than herself. The woman was born a nun," Ally said, shrugging her shoulders.

"At least she's trying to keep guys you respectful," Jennifer said, putting a hand on Marty's chin. "She's not doing a great job," Marty said. "Terrible," Jennifer said.

They were about to kiss but one of the ladies that was running the booth for the clock tower get between them with a can with coins inside of it. They all looked over at her.

"Save the Clock Tower! Save the Clock Tower! Mayor Wilson is sponsoring an initiative to replace that clock!" she announced. The three teens look over their shoulders to look at the clock tower.

"Thirty years ago, lightning struck that tower and it hasn't since. We at the Hill Valley Preservation Society think it should be "Thirty years ago, lightning struck that tower and it hasn't since. We at the Hill Valley Preservation Society think it should be preversed exactly the way it was as part of our history and heritage." The woman elabrolated.

Marty and Ally puts a quarter in the can. "Here you go, lady. There's a couple of quarters," Marty said. "That should help you out a bit," Ally said with a smirk.

The lady smiled in elation. "Thank you. Don't forget to take a flyer," she replied, handing Marty a flyer before walking back to the table.

"Now… where were we?" Marty asked. "I remember," Jennifer said, leaning to kiss Jennifer. But before they could, they were interrupted by a car horn. "Jennifer!"

Jennifer looked over and saw her dad's stationwagon. "Hmph, it's my dad. I've gotta go," she said, getting up from the bench.

"I'll call you tonight!" Marty called as she started going to the car. "I'll be at my grandma's! Here, let me give you the number," Jennifer said, jogging back over and she wrote the number on the flyer.

"Bye," she said, kissing Marty. "Bye, Jen!" Ally called. "Bye," Jennifer said as she got in the stationwagon.

Marty took a look at the flyer, seeing the number and the words, 'I love you.' on it.

Marty smiled at this and puts the flyer in his jacket. They grabbed their skateboards and grabbed the back of a cop car, kneeling down so he wouldn't see them.

They were ready to see Doc's new invention later tonight.
