(7:30 PM)
(Lyons Estate Neighborhood.)
By the time it was evening, Ally and Marty finally make it back to the neighborhood, Lyons Estate. They grabbed the back of a pick up truck so they could get there faster.
They let go of the truck and turn into their neighborhood. However, when they got to their house, they see their Dad's car being towed in the drive way. The car was totaled.
They kick their skateboards up and walk on the driveway. "That's just great," Marty sighed in exasperation.
"Wonder what happened..." Ally sighed, tucking her board under her arm. They walked to the house and go inside, instantly hearing voices from inside the house. One belonged to their dad and the other belonged to Biff Tannen, their Dad's bully and supervisor.
"I can't believe you loan me a car without telling me it had a Blindspot! I could've been killed!" Biff said, berating their dad on the car. George, their dad, leaned against the dining table.
He was tall and lanky, having dark hair that was slicked back by hair oil. He wore black-rimmed glasses over his dark eyes. He wore a white shirt with a black tie and black slacks.
As for Biff, he had blonde hair that was short and his eyes were dark too. He wore a red shirt with a dark blue jacket.
"Now-Now, Biff, I never noticed that it had any blind spot when I drove it. *Notices Ally and Marty* Hi, kids," George said.
Ally rolled her eyes and Marty leaned against the little bar that was by the hallway that led to the bedrooms. "Biff, can I assume that your insurance is going to help pay for that?" George asked.
"My insurance? It's your car! Your insurance will pay for it. How else you do you explain that wreck out there? * Holds up jacket* How about my jacket? Who's gonna pay for my cleaning bill?" Biff berated.
'It was your dumb ass that wrecked the car...' Ally thought. She wanted to say it but she decided to keep her mouth shut.
"Where are my reports, Mcfly?" Biff asked in a demanding tone. "Um... well... I figured since they weren't due 'til-" George started but started to laugh when Biff grabbed him by the tie and knocked on his head with a fist.
"Hello? Hello? Anybody home? Think, Mcfly, think! *Let's go of George's tie* I've gotta have time to get it retyped. Do you know what would happen if I hand in my report with your handwriting on it, I'll get fired. You wouldn't want that to happen, would you?" Biff said, waiting for George to answer.
When George wouldn't answer, Biff grabbed his tie again. "Would you?!" he repeated.
"Well, of course not, Biff! I wouldn't want that to happen," George said. Biff let his tie go and walked over to the little bar, getting some candy from the little glass bowl.
"I'll have those reports finished tonight and run them on over there first thing in the morning," George said, doing a little dance. "Not too early, cause I sleep in Saturdays. *looks down at George's shoes.* Hey, your shoes untied," Biff said.
George looked down, only for Biff to hit him under his nose. George laughed a bit obnoxiously and Biff walked around him. "Don't be so gullible, McFly," Biff said, going into the kitchen.
He opened the fridge and grabbed a beer can from the fridge. "'Hmmm, I wonder how he crashed the car,'" Ally thought annoyed.
"I bring your car back to you and all you got for me is light beer?" Biff said, walking to the front door. He saw Marty and Ally staring at him.
"What're you buttheads looking at?" he asked. Marty didn't say anything but Ally couldn't hold her tongue. "The guy that crashed the car," she said.
Biff only glared at her for a minute. "Say hi to your mom for me," Biff said, walking outside. Marty stared at the door in disbelief.
George walked up to his youngest son and daughter, using his hand to lean against the wall. "I know what you two are gonna say. You're right... you're right. *Shakes his head* Biff just happens to be my supervisor and just not very good at... confrontations," he said to them.
Marty dropped the back of his head against the wall and does a hand motion towards the doorway. "But the car, Dad," he sighed, going into the dingy antiqued living room.
"He wrecked it! He totaled it! Not to mention he raids our fridge like he owns the damn place," Ally said, following her brother in the living room.
Marty turned around to face their dad. "I needed the car for tomorrow night, dad. Do you know how important this was to me? Do you have any clue?" Marty said in exasperation.
"I know and all I can say is... I'm sorry," George said, putting a hand on his chest.
(Dinner)
The entire McFly family sat down at the dining table. Marty and Ally sat on George's right side while their brother and sister sat on his left.
Dave, twenty-one, sat across from Marty and Ally, wearing a Burger King uniform. He kept one eye on the clock and the other on his food, and he wolfed it down in large sections, swallowing like a half-starved animal.
On Marty and Ally's left was Linda, nineteen, who was cute in a kind of sleazy way, partly because she invariably wore to much eye shadow. Marty and Ally tried to remember when they had last seen her without purple or green eyelids, and they finally gave up.
George grabbed a box of peanut brittle and poured it out in a small glass bowl. Ally was holding a can of Dr. Pepper while Marty had a can of Pepsi Free.
"Believe me, Marty and Ally. You two are better off not having to worry about all the aggravation about auditioning for the school dance," George tells his two kids. He held the bowl out to them.
Ally took some and put it on he plate. Marty shook his head, showing he didn't want any. "He's right, you two. Last thing you both need are headaches," Dave agreed, turned halfway on his chair.
George and him start laughing at something that was on the tv. It was an oldie show about a guy dressed up as a spaceman.
Ally smirked at this, but otherwise wasn't amused. She continued to eat what was on her plate. Then, their mother, Lorraine Baines-Mcfly, who was once an attractive. Now at 47, she was overweight. She drank more than what was good for her. She had more food on her plate than everyone else.
She walked into the dining area, carrying a cake and a Budweiser beer can in her hand. "Kids. We're gonna have to eat this by ourselves. Your Uncle Joey didn't make parole again," she said, dropping the cake in the middle of the table.
"Wow, I'm not surprised," Ally said. "Yes, so it'd be nice if you all drop him a line," Lorraine said, sitting down in front of George. David, Ally, and Marty.
"Uncle Jailbird Joey?" Marty asked. "He's your brother, mom," David said, narrowing his eyes at his mother. "Yeah. I think it's a major embarrassment to have an uncle in prison," Linda said, uncurling her hair.
"We all make mistakes in life children," Lorraine sighed, gripping the can a bit tightly. David looked over at the clock, and saw he was running late for work.
"Goddammit, I'm late!" he said, getting up from his chair and grabbed his coat. "David, watch your mouth! And come kiss your mother before you go," Lorraine said, pointing to her cheek.
"C'mon, mom, make it quick," David said impatiently, giving his mother a kiss on the cheek. He went over to his dad.
"See you later, Pop. *kisses his dad's head* Oooh! Time to change that oil," Dave said before leaving. George laughed at what Dave said.
"Hey, Marty. Ally. I'm not your answering service, but while you two were pouting over the car, Jennifer Parker and Michael Rogers called you two," Linda says to her youngest siblings.
"Oh, really? Guess we were too distracted," Ally said, looking at the clock. "I don't like them, you two. Marty, any girl that calls a boy is just asking for trouble," Lorraine said.
"What does that make me? Besides there isn't anything wrong with calling a boy," Ally said, drinking her soda. "Well, that's just terrible! Girls chasing boys! When I was your ages, I never sat parked car with a boy or much less called him," Lorraine said, making Ally feel a tad bit guilty because she would call Michael on occasion.
"How am I supposed to meet anybody? Like how Ally met her boyfriend?" Linda asked. Lorraine patted Linda's hand that sat on the table. "Well, it'll just happen. Like how I met your father," Lorraine said.
"That was so stupid! Grandpa hit him with the car!" Linda exclaimed. Lorraine smiled at her and said, "It was meant to be. If your grandpa hadn't hit him, then none of you would've been born," Lorraine explained.
"What was he doing out in the middle of the street like that?" Ally asked her mother. "What were you doing, George? Bird watching?" Lorraine asked.
George looked up from his paperwork. "What, Lorraine? What?" he said, not listening to what she was saying.
"Your grandfather hit him with the car and we brought him inside. He seemed so helpless. He was like a little lost puppy and my heart just went out to him," Lorraine said.
"Yeah, mom, we heard this story a million times, you felt sorry for him and you decided to go with him to the Fish Under the Sea dance," Linda said.
Lorraine shook her head and said, "No, no, it was The Enchantment Under the Sea dance. Our first date. I'll never forget it. It was the night of that terrible storm, remember George?" Lorraine asked, but was ignored by George.
"You're father kissed me for the first time on that dance floor. I realized then, I was going to spend the rest of my life with him," Lorraine said, looking down with a sad look in her eyes.
They could see just how loveless their parents' marriage was. Nether could remember the last time they had kissed each other. It made them wonder if they stopped after they had kids.
Ally and Marty turned in for the night, ready to see what Doc's experiment was at the mall. They couldn't wait.
