Great and Powerful Trixie

"Ladies and Gentleman! Boys and Girls! Welcome to the show!" A voice calls out in a dark room "Prepare to witness a human woman who has mastered the wonder of flight!"

A crowd cheers ad the room lights up showing it was a circus tent as we see a large Pyroar head on a wall with an open mouth, smoke comes out and a figure appears. It was a blue skinned woman with white hair, she wor a blue dress with a blue jacket with light blue stars on the sleeves, golden shoulder jacket pads, purple knee-high socks, blue high heel shoes and a blue magicians hat with a purple feather and also a purple cape with blue stars on it.

The world's Greatest and most Powerful Magician…" The speaker possibly the Ringmaster announces "The one….The only….Trixie Lulamoon!" The crowd cheers more.

Trixie smiles and then jumps off the platform she was on and begins to float before flying up into the air. She then flies around the circus tent a sign revealing the name was 'The Big Clockford Circus'. Once Trixie was done she wraps herself up in her cape and then vanishes leaving behind only her cape and hat. The crowd cheers as they ate it all up.

December 26, 8:12 PM, Big Clockford Circus, Circus Entrance

We see standing at the entrance having just left were J, Jaden and Kairi who had just attended the circus for a fun day out and finished it with watching the big show. Kairi was amazed by what she just witnessed at the circus

"Wow…That was like being in a dream…" Kairi said happily "I haven't even caught my breath yet"

"Hehe…That was amazing! Wasn't it, Kairily?!" Jaden said also happy.

"It was great!" Kairi said nodding "There was a dancing Ursaring…and a tiger that jumped through a ring of fire…A Donphan that rode a giant ball…Not to mention that girl who flew through the air!"

"Teah! Trixie Lulamoon! She was absolutely fabulous!" Jaden said in agreement.

"Huh? …What? Trixie…" Kairi said in surprise.

"Trixie Lulamoon! The World's Greatest and Powerful Magician!" Jaden told her.

"A magic-ician?" Kairi asked confused, despite being months since coming under Jaden's care with J helping out as well, Kairi is still learning about thinks in the outside world from Keyblade Village.

"No, a magician." Jaden told her.

"Umm…Miss. J." Kairi said looking at the drone

"Huh? What is it, Kairin?" J asked.

Kairi asked "Does magic have anything to do with channeling spirits?"

'I don't think it has anything to do with channelling…' J thinks on it and asked, "You don't know about magic, do you Karin?"

"I'm sorry…" Kairi said smiling

J then in her mind palace wrists as she thinks 'I braved the winter cold and took Kairin to see the circus. It's been six months since that terrible incident in Keyblade village…and it was during that trying time that I met Kairin…'

J in the real world looks at the smiling Kairi who as holding a plush she won from a game and thinks smiling 'Thankfully, she seems to be recovering from it, and is returning to her normal self.'

"Ahh…It's time to go." Jaden said seeing the time.

"You're right. We can't miss the last train." Kairi said nodding.

"Kairin! You remembered the train!" J said smiling impressed.

"Of course I did!" Kairi said happy for the praise. But she then gets concerned as she said "But I don't really understand what everyone means by 'express train.'"

"Well, J….Se you later." Jaden said with a smile. "I'll come by to help clean the office. It's got to be spotless for the new year."

"Don't worry about it. Really." J tells him.

"You are going to visit Miss. J on New Year's?" Kairi asked Jaden.

"Maybe." Jaden said nervous on where this was leading.

"I am glad you get to spend your New Year's with your special someone!" Kairi said happily.

"K-KAIRILY! Look! It's time to go!" Jaden said flustered

"Happy New Year, Miss. J!" Kairi said smiling and waving at J.

J looks at her and thinks ''Happy New Year'…I really hope it will turn out that way…'

December 28, 9:12 AM, J & Co. Law Offices

J was at her desk finishing the latest bit of cleaning in the office as she thinks 'Well…Today wraps it up for this year…I hope I can finish cleaning this place up in one day.' She smiles and looks at a poster on the wall, it was advertising the newest character added to the White Ranger universe which Jaden went out and bought right way as he was a sucker to all things White Ranger. Funny enough she heard from Jaden who heard from Kota that they were intending to give this new ranger hero their own movie. She already knows that Jaden will be dragging her to see it with him.

Speaking of she suddenly hears the White Ranger theme which was her phone and answers it saying "…Hello, this is J & Co Law Offices."

"J! It's t-t-terrible!" The voice of a panicked Jaden is heard on the other end.

"Ahh, Jaden. Perfect timing…" J said with a smile "Things are terrivble here too!"

"Huh?" Jaden said confused.

"The office is a terrible mess! And I have to clean it up!" J told him.

"What are you talking about?!" Jaden yells out

"Umm…My dirty office." J said confused "What are you talking about?"

"Listen J! You have to turn on the TV!" Jaden tells her.

'The TV?' J thinks more confused and does so.

"This is Kent Brockman live for our earlier top story….Now let's check in at the scene!" The news reports.

'Huh? What happened…?' J thinks concerned

"…To repeat earlier, we're hear at the Clockford Big Circus." Kent reports as he was on the scene. "The Clockford Big Circus has become the centre of a sensational murder. The scene has created quite a stir among the throngs of excited onlookers!"

The Gladford…I mean…The Clockford Big Circus…" J said stunned

"That's the circus we went to! Right?!" Jaden asked still on the phone.

"They're saying that there was a…. murder." J said to that.

"Yeah! They arrested her too!" Jaden tells J.

"A-Arrested who?" J asked him.

"Trixie! They arrested Trixie Lulamoon!" Jaden says.

J thinks back to the performance they saw of Trixie and thinks 'Trixie Lulamoon. Fans just call her Trixie. A popular human magician who fly through the sky at will…' She then thinks of a poster Jaden got of Trixie posing in the air 'Jaden said he was a huge fan of Trixie…"

"Alright, J! I'll see you in two hours at the Detention Centre." Jaden said on the phone.

"Huh? What?" J said confused.

"See you there. You've still got plenty of time to clean up your office later!" Jaden said to her.

"W-WWWHHHAATTT?!" J yells out in shock but Jaden hung up. "Oh, great cooperate shares!" She looks like she has no choice but to go down to the Detention Centre.

December 28, 11:19 AM, Detention Centre, Visitor's Room

The two were waiting for Trixie to be brought out and Jaden in anger said "What are they talking about? Why did they arrest Trixie?"

"You're asking the wrong person on that one, Jaden." J tells him. "Maybe she used her magical skills to deal death with a slight of hand…"

"Trixie Lulamoon would never do such a thing!" Jaden tells her.

"FABULOUS! What the young man just said was absolutely fabulous!" A female voice yells out shocking the two "What a clever boy! Such a fabulous understanding of events!"

'…What's with all this fabulous talk…' J thinks confused.

They then look posing dramatically on the other side of the visitors glass was Trixie said smiling "Welcome to the Visitor's Room!" She diding have her hat or her cape on at this time.

"It's TRIXIE! J! Look! It's the real Trixie Lulamoon!" Jaden said excited.

"Alright dear. Pick a card, any card." Trixie said to Jaden holding a deck of cards and fans them out for Jaden to pick one.

"S-S-She called me dear!" Jaden said swooning a bit from that "J!"

Trixie chuckles and said "Time's running out dear! Pick a card, any card!"

Jaden thinks then takes one "T-This one…"

"Uh-huh. I thought you would pick that one dear." Trixie said smiling and poses "The ace of hearts!"

"AHHHHHH! She got it! She got it! J! LOOK! SHE GOT IT!" Jaden said excited showing his card.

"What can I say dear…You've stolen one of my most valued possessions." Trixie tells him smiling and poses dramaticall "One of the Great and Powerful Trixie's hearts…"

"Trixie…" Jaden said and nearly passes out.

"Well…Time to make this an absolutely fabulous time!" Trixie said smiling.

"Trixie! You should let J pick a card!" Jaden tells her.

'Eep…I don't want to steal one of her hearts…' J thinks to herself.

"And you are…?" Trixie said looking at J unimpressed and said "Oh, how silly of me! You must be dear's servant bot!"

"His servant bot?" J said to that insulted by that.

"Whatever…Hurry up and pick a card, any card…" Trixie said fanning out the cards again.

"Umm…I want this one." J said taking one.

"So dear, let's be honest here…" Trixie said looking at Jaden. "You came to this visitor's room to visit me, didn't you?"

"Y-Yes! I'm your biggest fan!" Jaden said smiling

Trixie poses and says "Fabulous! Absolutely fabulous! Thank you very much!"

"Hey…Umm…What about my card?" J asked her.

"Think of it as a souvenir." Trixie said nonchalantly. J just deadpanned stares at her.

"Well J…I think it's time to get to work." Jaden tells her. J just looks up at the ceiling. "What's the matter, J? Why are you looking at the ceiling?"

"I was just thinking about what I should have for lunch, batteries or hard energon." J tells him.

"Dear…Drop the Miku looking drone over there." Trixie said to Jaden "Shower me with your attention. Okay?"

"O-O-O-Oh, yes…!" Jaden said with a smile

"Ab-so-lute-lyh…FABULOUS!" Trixie said posing.

'Absolutely cringe inducing.' J thinks to herself getting annoyed but decides to least try and talk to her

"Trixie, I was hoping you could tell me a little but more about yourself…" Jaden said smiling.

Trixie poses and said "FABULOUS! I think we should get to know each other better, too! Why don't you come and sit next to me?"

"Umm…There's a big piece of security glass between us…" Jaden points out to her.

"Oh, sweet Celestia! What in the world?!" Trixie said sweating and uses cards to fan herself. "If only I could use magic! Then I could make this wall disappear…"

'What is this girl talking about?!' J thinks annoyed then says "Anyways…. Lately, you've become awfully famous, haven't you Trixie?"

"That's Great and Powerful Trixie to you, Miku drone! Get it straight!" Trixie tells her.

'Jeez, organics nowadays…They get their socks in a twist over nothing!' J thinks sighing. She then said "Anyway, Great and Powerful Trixie, you won a very prestigious award recently, did you not?"

"I did indeed! It was FABULOUS!" Trixie said posing. "I won the Magician's Grand Prix, held by the Association of International Magicians. It's an award that recognizes that I am the most fabulouso of fabulous world magicians. There was a trophy, and a bust. It was fab…I mean it was an amazing day."

"Wow! That's incredible!" Jaden said in awe.

"Isn't it?! I'm certifiably the greatest magician in the world!" Trixie boasted.

'I'm going to guess she didn't win a trophy for most modest magician.' J thinks to herself.

"You are signed to an exclusive contract with the Clockford Big Circus, correct?" Jaden asked Trixie.

Trixie poses dramatically and said "That's the long and short of it. You sure do your research dear! I'm impressed. You just can't watch a magician on TV, you know?! Magic is so fabulous, you have to see it with your own eyes, dear!"

"You're right! You're so right!" Jaden said happily

"However, the circus…It's a dinosaur. A thing of the past." Trixie then tells the two. "Nowadays, no one even cares about what goes on there."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Jaden asked surprised.

"That's why I signed the contract!" Trixie told them.

"That's why you signed the contract?" J asked surprised.

"Thanks to me, the Clockford Big Circus is fabulously popular!" Trixie tells them boasting again. "People come out in droves to catch a glimpse of the magic of Trixie Lulamoon! I revived the dinosaur that is the circus! But to me, it was just another magic trick! Isn't it just wonderful, dear?"

"Y-Yes…" Jaden said unsure how to feel on that.

"I made all the old crusty circus performances obsolete!" Trixie said grinning.

"But I kind of like the circus performances…" Jaden said looking down.

'Jaden looks a bit down…' J thinks on it. She then looks at Trixie and asked "Tell me what happened at the Clockford Big Circus."

"Ahh…Last night. The Ringmaster was murdered." Trixie tells her.

"The Ringmaster…You mean Harvey Clockford?" Jaden asked thinking.

"Someone smashed him over the head, I hear. He was slumped over on the ground." Trixie explained "Even though it was the middle of the night, the police trooper presence was fabulous. The police troopers questioned me at length…"

"Questioned you about what?" J asked her.

"About everything…I was the last one to see the Ringmaster before he was murdered." Trixie tells her. "I saw him last evening…In his room."

"So then why were you arrested?" Jaden asked her.

"Arrested? Don't make an ant hill into a mountain, dear." Trixie said to that. "They just wanted to consult with me on matters…That's all."

"J…I don't think Trixie understands how serious this is." Jaden said concerned.

'He's right…I think I should shock her back to reality…' J thinks and then asks "Before the murder, you met with the Ringmaster?"

"Uh-huh." Trixie said nodding.

"What did you talk about?" J asked.

"Things that aren't for your ears." Trixie tells her smiling.

"Jaden. Would you please ask her?" J said to him.

"What did you talk about with the Ringmaster, Trixie?" Jaden asked smiling.

"It was nothing…Small talk really…" Trixie said with a bit of a shifty eyes "We were just having a chat about my salary."

"Salary?" Jaden said to that.

"I am the one bringing in the crowds. I think that I should be compensated at such. You agree, don't you?" Trixie boasted.

"Y-Yes…" Jaden said unsure on that.

"That's all you talked about?" J asked her.

"Of course! It was a fabulous chat!" Trixie said posing. But just then J senses her Logic Solver Keychain glowing in her chest pocket and the world darkens around her and Trixie and three sets of chains wrap around the magician and three Psyche-Locks locks them into place.

'Just fabulous! I mean…Argh! Now she's got saying it!' J thinks at that slapping her head.

Jaden looks at J confused and asked "What's the matter, J? You look all bent out of shape." J hasn't really told Jaden about the Psyche-Locks and the Logice Solver Keyblade, but now wasn't the best time.

J then presents her Attorney's Badge to Trixie. The magician looks at it and asked "What is that badge? Is it used in a disappearing act?"

"I'm not a magician, Trixie. I'm an attorney." J tells her.

"An attorney? Then why are you wasting your time talking to me?" Trixie asked shrugging.

"She isn't wasting her time!" Jaden tells Trixie trying to make he see the reality of the situation "Trixie…You're…"

"Okay! Okay! Relax, dear…" Trixie said to him. "You're just a little overanxious, I think…" Jaden whimpers looking down and she looks at him then said "Anyways…I've been curious about something for a while now."

"What's that?" Jaden asked.

"Why do you keep looking at me with such a sad look on your face, dear?" Trixie asked Jaden.

"Be-Because! You've been arrested! For murder!" Jaden tells her firmly.

"Oh, don't be ignorant. They wouldn't arrest someone like me!" Trixie said with a confidant shrug.

"Why is that?" J asked her

Trixie dramatically poses and said "Obvously because I'm the Great, Powerful and fabulous Trixie Lulamoon!"

"So?" J asked not seeing a legit reason as to why.

"I'm the very big star of the Clockford Big Circus." Trixie tells her

"And that means?" J asked still confused.

"I'm rich. I'm paid fabulous sums!" Trixie said to that.

"Which means what?" J asked her but to that Trixie keeps slient.

"Trixie…" Jaden said to her.

"Quit joking around! You've got to be pulling my magic wand!" Trixie said sweating nervous. "The police troopers aren't really serious about all this, are they?"

"They don't arrest people as a joke." J tells her firmly. Trixie's eyes widen at that.

"Look at Trixie….She's crushed…" Jaden said to that.

"Well, she needed to wake up and smell the coffee." J tells him and thinks 'This is serious business.'

"Umm…Umm…" Trixie said thinking.

"Yes?" J said looking at her.

"Mik…I mean, Ma'am. You're a lawyer, right?" Trixie asked J.

"Huh? Oh yeah. I'm an attorney." J said nodding.

Trixie then with a panicked look said to her with a slight country accent "Please! Help me! I didn't kill nobody!"

"'Didn't kill nodbody?!'" Jaden said in surprise

"I may be slightly more spoiled that a pig in a hamburger mud pit…But a killer?!" Trixie said scared "That's insane…I…I…I could never…"

"T-Trixie?" Jaden said in shock.

"I swear!" Trixie said still scared. "I just wanted to be able to see the wider world then I would have back on a farm where they literally farm rocks…"

"Okay…Okay…I'll take your case." J said to her.

"R-Really?" Trixie asked her.

"Really." J said with a nod.

"Uh…Thank you much. You all are nice folks." Trixie said calming herself down.

"Ummm…Trixie." Jaden said.

"Yes?" Trixie said looking at him.

"Is that even your real name?" Jaden asked her.

"Yes it is, I thought of changing it my adding Great and Powerful made it better, through I did grow up in the country so I am not from a wealthy city." Trixie tells him

Jaden looked shocked and J asked, "What's the matter, Jaden?"

"Despite not having a name that sounds country she is partly a country bumpkin!" Jaden said in shock. J just remained silent.

A short while late Trixie was able to compose herself and said clearing her throat and said in the voice she was using before her breakdown "I must apologize for not being my absolutely fabulous self just now, dear."

"H-Huh?" Jaden said still processing.

"Miss. Attorney." Trixie said looking at J.

"Yes?" J said.

"At the start of this you took one of my cards, didn't you?" Trixie said now no longer dismissing her as an extra.

'Umm…Now that she mentions it…I did take a card.' J said seeing the card still in her hand

"It was the 10 of Hearts. Right?" Trixie said posing dramatically.

'Wha...How'd she…She got it right, again!' J said in shock as that was the card she drew.

"What can I say? You, too…You've stolen some of my most valued possessions." Trixie said to her with a smile. "Ten of the Great and Power Trixie Lulamoon's hearts…"

'You sure do have a lot of hearts, don't you?' J thinks to herself.

"Ah, ha, ha, ha…I'm putting my faith in you dear." Trixie said with a smile.

'She didn't just call me dear, did she?' J thinks sweat dropping.

"Alright! Let's make this an absolutely fabulous case! Come on, J!" Jaden said excited.

J nods and the two said goodbye to Trixie and head out to the circus to begin investigating

Well this will be interesting case, next time J and Jaden will begin looking around the circus for clues and suspects get ready
