Later on, it was night time. The siblings lost count of how many hours they were stuck in Biff's garage. They didn't think he'd come out until they heard the back door to his house open. "Biff! Where are you going now?" his grandmother shouted from inside of the house.

Biff rolled his eyes and turned towards the house, extending a hand. "I told you, Grandma! I'm going to the dance!" he spat. "When are you coming home?" his grandmother shouts. "I'll get home when I get home!" Biff shouted, entering the garage.

Before he came inside, Marty and Ally hid inside of the back of Biff's car with the tarp over them. "Don't forget to turn off the garage lights!" Biff's grandmother reminded.

Biff gets in the driver's seat, turns the car on, backs it out of the garage, and heads down the street. As he left, Doc rides past him on a bicycle. He rode the bike into the open garage, not seeing Marty and Ally there.

"Marty? Ally?" he calls, but got no reply. "Damn, where are those kids?" he says to himself, tearing the price tag off of the hat he was wearing. He turns and leaves the garage, heading in the direction of the town square.

As Biff kept driving, there was a tunnel up ahead. Marty pulls out the walkie-talkie. "Doc, Doc, come in, over!" Marty whispered. "Marty, Marty, come in!" Doc says over the device. But the car enters the tunnel, cutting them both off. Marty ducks behind the front seat with Ally.

"Marty! Ally!" Doc exclaimed but got no reply. Doc makes it to the square and is shocked by what he sees. "Oh my…" he quietly says. He has spotted the other Delorean under the covers. He walks over to it. "Great Scott…" he mutters, lifting up the covers and peering in. "Oh my God," he whispered in disbelief.

Marty pulls out the walkie-talkie again the minute they were out of the tunnel. Looks like they were having trouble getting a signal. "C'mon, give us a signal," Ally curses under her breath.

Once they did, Marty starts talking into it. "Doc, Doc come in!" he says, nearly shouting. Doc picks up his own device and talks into it, "Marty, Ally, what happened? I went to Biff's house and you two weren't there!"

"Doc, you just missed us. We're in the back of Biff's car on our way to the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance, over," Marty told him.

Doc made a horrifying realization, accidentally running into their other selves would cause disaster. "Marty, Ally, I'm afraid we're gonna have to abort this entire plan, it's getting much too dangerous!" he exclaimed into the walkie-talkie.

"Doc, the almanac is on the dashboard, so don't worry," Ally whispers into the device, "We'll grab it when we make it to the school," "Marty, Ally! It is important that you two don't run into other selves!" Doc exclaims. He failed to notice that his 1955 counterpart had appeared to make some adjustments to his 'weather experiment'.

"Our other selves, Doc?" Marty asked. "Precisely! Remember, your other selves are at that exact same dance with your parents!" Doc responded. "This could get heavy, Doc," Marty moaned. Doc rolled his eyes at his joke and muttered, "Heavy, heavy," He turns back to the device, "Whatever happens, you two must not let your other selves see you two! The consequences could be disastrous!"

Before he could say another word, a familiar-sounding voice calls him. "Excuse me? Yes, you with the hat," the voice called. Doc turns to face the owner of the voice, only to quickly turn back around as he saw it was his younger self. Doc pulls his hat down so that his younger self wouldn't recognize him. "Who? Me?" he asked.

"Yes, be a pal and hand me my five-eighths wrench out of that toolbox?" Young Doc asked. Present Doc backs up to the toolbox and he asks, "Five-eighths? Don't you mean three-quarters?"

"Why, yes. How did you know that?" Young Doc asked in surprise. "Oh, I happened to have a little experience in this area," Present Doc answered, handing his younger self the required wrench. "Well, I'm hoping to see some lightning but the weatherman says that we're not going to have any rain," Young Doc said.

"Oh, there's going to be a lot of rain alright. Wind, thunder, lightning… it's going to be one hell of a storm," Present Doc smiled and replied. Young Doc seemed to ignore what Present Doc said and replied, "Well, it was nice talking to you. Maybe we'll meet sometime in the future,"

"Or in the past," Present Doc whispered, getting on his bike and he rode away from the Delorean. He had to make sure that Marty and Ally succeeded and did not have the same encounter as he did.
