Chapter 1:
At Riverdale High, Josie McCoy, Valerie Brown, and Melody Valentine were at their table, eating lunch. "It's happening again," says Valerie. They see Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge fighting over Archie Andrews.
"I wish they would stop being ridiculous," says Josie.
"I don't blame them," says Valerie, "he is kind of cute."
"Yeah, but it would be easier if he would just choose," says Josie, "hey, Melody, turn around."
Guys were gushing over Melody again. "Um… hi," says Melody, "help me!"
"Come on," says Josie, "it's time! Alan?"
"Ladies and Gentlemen," says Alan, "Josie and the Pussycats!"

Everyone cheers. "You girls are amazing," says Sabrina.
"Thanks," says Valerie. Sabrina walks away. "I'm telling you, there is something weird about her."
"I like what I hear!" They look. "Alexander Cabot III and I would like to be your manager! My card!"
Josie takes a look. "Jack of Spades," asks Josie.
"Wrong card," says Alex. He then hands them the right card. "Just think about it. I could make you big and you could make me more money!"
"Excuse us," says Josie. The girls then huddle up.
"So, how'bout that weather," asks Alan.
"Yeah, it's pretty nice," says Alex.
"Look at us, Alan and Alex, that's funny," says Alan.
"You're not very bright, are you," asks Alex.
"Not really. I'm Alan, the band's roadie and Josie's boyfriend."
"Well, glad to meet'cha," says Alex.
"Okay, we're in," says Josie.
"Great, my address is on the card, we can talk at my place!" Alexander then leaves.
"Alexander Cabot, where have I heard that name before," asks Valerie.
