Chapter 2

In Lancer's Class

Sam, Tucker, Kwan, and Star were sitting in the back and the other students are staring at them for multiple reasons. 1. Sam and Tucker are both ripped. I mean everybody knew Manson would be in good physical condition because out of the used to be Trio she was the most athletic and she was a vegetarian. But Foley had a total glow up. He was still a Tech Geek, but he was an attractive Tech Geek. Like in the Movies. His hair had grown and now he has long dreads that are in a bun. His glasses are more in style and his clothes fit his body perfectly so everyone can see clearly that he had abs and muscles. That were making the girls in class both popular and nerd drool. He's even gotten taller he's now 6'2.

"Dang Foley got a glow up!" One of the A-listers said. There were many mumbles in agreement to that statement. Tucker Foley was Tech Geek, but he was a very attractive Tech Geek.

As the students marveled about Sam and Tucker's Glow up. Mostly Tucker's . Nobody expected to see two people burst into the room out of breath. " I think… we… made… it." The young man said. His muscles flexed slightly as he caught his breath. His voice was deep and it gave the girls in the class goosebumps. His voice was so HOT! And with those muscles. The girls were all thinking the same thing. "Please let him be single?"

The girl beside him was just as out of breath as the boy next to her. Mr. Lancer chuckled. "Well I have good news and bad news Mr. Fenton.which one do you want first?"

Everyone gasped except for Team Phantom that is. "That's Fenton! " one of the members of the football team said.

"Wow! I thought Foley's glow up was a surprise, but look at Fenton he's ripped." Another football player said sounding a little jealous.

Dash was at a loss for words. Fenton! The king of losers of Casper High was ripped and his voice finally went through puberty. His voice was strong and deep and by the looks. That every girl in class was giving him. He was clearly going to be a chick magnet now.

Lancer cleared his throat. "As I was saying before Mr. Fenton. Do you want the good news or the bad news first?"

Everybody leans forward in their seats to hear the Raven haired boy better. In other words. They just wanted to hear him speak again. His voice was so deep and soothing that held such authority like that of a leader.

Danny smiled and everyone in the room was blown away. His smile seemed to brighten the whole room. " Give me the bad news first." He said.

Lancer chucked. "You and Ms. Grey will be seeing me for detention after school today."

"Dang it Danny!" Valerie said.

He pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead. " I'm sorry Babe I thought we could have a quick make out session before class.

This made the whole class burst into laughter. "You mean the reason you two were late because of a make-out session." Kwan said trying to get his breathing back in order.

Dude, have you seen my girlfriend? How could I not?" Danny states. Which causes Valerie's cheeks to heat up.

There were many sounds of disappointment from the girls in class to hear that he was already taken.

Danny extended his arm for Valerie and she gladly accepted it he lead them to their seats. As the gentlemen that he is, he pulled out Valerie seat for her.

"For you. My Queen." He said

Valerie giggled. " Thank you, My King."

There was a chorus of Aww throughout the classroom. The interaction between the two of them was just so adorable. Danny had always been sweet and kind. But nobody seemed to care or be interested in him. Or they were too afraid of the A- listers to approach Danny. He was Dash's number one target. Now they wished they had at least tried. Kwan and Star did.

They got kicked out of the A-listers because of it. But they seem happier than anyone has ever seen them. Ever since leaving the A- listers Star has show that she wasn't more than just a satellite. She was smart, funny, and artistic. Things she had to hide because she was an A-lister.

Kwan was also a tech wiz like Tucker but he had to hide that side of himself because of his status as an A-lister. Now that they weren't anymore they could finally be happy with who they truly were. It was all thanks to Danny. He took them into his group and helped them be themselves. Just like he did with Valerie Freshman Year. They seem happier being with Danny and his friends than being with the A-listers.

Dash didn't like that one bit. He blamed Fenton for the fact that he lost his best friend. He didn't care that Fentoenail had some sort of miraculous glow up. He was still a loser and it was Dash's job to put the freak in his place. Little did he know that he would regret it soon.

Class went by fairly quickly and Danny answered practically every question. This put a smile on Mr. Lancer face. Danny was always his favorite student. When he had started freshman year he had had high hopes for the boy. He was told by his older sister Jazmine that Danny was very bright and intelligent. And she was absolutely right. He was. But after the lab accident that same year his favorite student changed.

He would come to school late fail tests and quizzes and turn in unfinished homework and school assignments. Lancer didn't understand what the accident did to Danny at first that is. He wouldn't fully understand until the end of sophomore year.

To think Daniel Fenton was the hero of Amity Park Phantom himself. Lancer had an idea that he was , but it all became fully clear when Phantom crashed through the window of his classroom during his lunch break. The two white rings appeared and Phantom became Fenton. They sent the rest of that Lunch period with Danny explaining everything to him.

After that day Lancer has been more lenient towards Danny and the rest of Team Phantom. But of course he had to keep up the appearances. Nobody needed to know that the detentions he gave them were fake.

The bell rang and the students in Lancer's class quickly got up and rushed out of the classroom. Except for the members of Tram Phantom. Mr. Lancer told them to stay behind for a bit. Lancer closed and locked the door so that they wouldn't be interrupted.

They knew exactly what that meant. He wanted to know the real reason why Valerie and Danny were late. They all took a seat in the desks in the front.

"So who was it this time?" He asked.

"It was the Box ghost." Danny said honestly.

"Don't you defeat him fairly quickly?" Lancer asked.

Danny nods. "He had his daughter with him so we kind of had to on a show since the kid was watching."

Lancer nods. "Is there anything else I should know?"

His question put a big smile on his students faces. "So GhostWriter is thinking about adopting you like he did with Jazz." Danny said.

Lancer only laughed at that. "He was serious about that."

"I'm guessing he payed you a visit already?" Sam asked curiously.

Lancer nods. "His visits are nice and we get to have deep conversations about our favorite authors and books. The three of us even have a book club now."

"Aww." Team Phantom said in unison.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He said.

After conversing for a bit more Lancer gave them each a late pass to give to their next period teacher.

"See you at lunch Mr. Lancer." Tucker said.

Lancer smiled. He started to prepare for his next class when his watch beeped signaling that a friendly ghost was approaching. Lancer relaxed and continued what he was doing. Soon a ghost messenger phased through the window.

" William Lancer." The messenger said.

"Yes that's me." Mr. Lancer said.

The messenger gave him Manila folder and then went about his business. Mr Lancer sat at his desk and opened the folder. Inside was a time medallion, a list with all the names of the students in his first period English class, a stack of permission slips and a letter.

Lancer picked up the letter and began to read it aloud.

THE LETTER

William I am Clockwork. I'm sure Daniel has mentioned me. I am The keeper/Master of Time. I'm reaching out to you to invite you to become a member of King Phantom's high council. I also wish to inform you that the permission slips are for a field trip to the Ghost zone. The Guys In White are planning something against ghosts specifically Phantom. This field trip will help to stop the GIW 'S plans.

Sincerely, ClockWork.

Lancer was shocked about what he had just read. He placed the letter and the medallion in his satchel and zipped it up. He would have to discuss this with the Danny and his friends when they came to have lunch in his classroom.
