Crazy Day Chapter 3

Lincoln was still in shock from the text message his friend had just sent. At first, he thought it was all a bad dream. He remembered walking at night to the cave where his best friends Clyde, Ronnie Anne, and Sid were, seeing glowing gems, and being hit by a blast of energy. He woke up thinking it had been a nightmare, only to find out through a text message from his friend that it had all actually happened.

"It was not a dream at all," Lincoln says, still looking in shock. But after shaking his head to get rid of his shock and looking at the time, he knew that it was 5:10 a.m.

Well, while I am up, I can at least take a shower before my sisters wake up. With that, Lincoln got out of his bed and started to head out of his room. Entering the hallway, he managed to get to the bathroom without making any noise that would cause his sisters to wake up.

After finishing his shower, Lincoln washed his head. After a few minutes, Lincoln noticed something in the vent. "Hm, who is in the vent?" Lincoln said. He heard a sound and knew who was in the vent.

"Cliff Lincoln says." After speaking, Cliff walks out of the vent, looking at his owner and meowing at him. "Hi, Cliff," Lincoln says, petting his head, causing him to purr.

After Lincoln pets Cliff, Lincoln contemplates something. "Man, I wonder what it's like to be a cat," Lincoln says. Suddenly, Lincoln senses that something has happened. He opens his eyes and finds himself on the ground. "Why am I on the ground?" Lincoln asks.

When he looked up, he saw that he was as tall as Cliff. "Cliff, when did you become taller than me?" Lincoln asked. When he tried to scratch himself, he saw that his hand had a paw. "Wait, why do I have a paw?" Lincoln said in shock. Before he could do anything, Lincoln looked up at the mirror. When he jumped up and onto the mirror, he looked at his reflection. He saw that he was no longer a human; he was a white snowball cat with blue eyes.

Lincoln emitted a loud scream upon discovering that he had transformed into a cat and subsequently began to panic.

I am a cat, I am a cat, I am a cat. Linclon in a panit.

Before Lincoln had a chance to act, he heard a knock at the door. "Linky, sweetheart, is everything all right?" a voice inquired. Lincoln immediately recognized the voice as belonging to his second-oldest sister, Leni. However, it was not onlyeni; the rest of the family stood outside the door, while their parents remained downstairs.

"Damn it," Lincoln said, hearing another knock on the door. This time, the voice was not his mother's, but his older sister's, who always bullied him. "Yo, Stinkin', open the door," Lynn Jr. said, causing Lincoln to shake in fear. After a few seconds, Lynn called out again, even angrier. "Stinkin', if you don't open the door, I'm going to break it down." Lincoln still didn't say anything, which made it even worse.

"Lincoln, get out of the bathroom or I'll tell Mom," Lola said, yelling and knocking on the door hard. "Yeah, hurry up, dude, I need to get ready for school." "Lincoln, if you don't open the door, I'm going to turn you into a human pretzel," Lori added.

"Okay, that's it, Lincoln, you asked for this," Lynn said, backing up to get ready to charge. Lincoln tried to find a way to escape. He kept looking until he remembered how Cliff got in. Back in the hallway, Lynn Jr. was still backing up until she started running toward the door. Once she knocked on the door down, she let out a mischievous smile.

Okay, Stinkin, it's time for your... Before Lynn Jr. could finish her words, she looked around and saw Lincoln not there.

The Loud sisters exclaimed in shock that Lincoln was not there. "Hey, where are you, Stinkin'?" Lynn asked, looking around until a voice called out, "I'm right here." The Loud sisters turned around and saw their brother leaving his room. However, they noticed that Lincoln looked terrified as if he had seen a ghost or something.

Lincoln tried to explain to all the Loud sisters, but some of them did not understand what he was saying. "Why did you scare me and ruin my beauty sleep?" Lola asked, rubbing her eye and looking angrily at her brother for waking her and the rest of the sisters up.

"Oh, sorry, I just had a bad dream, but it's nothing to worry about," Lincoln said, rubbing his head. "Sigh, having a bad dream, that's literally it," Lori said, getting annoyed. "Yes, sorry for that," Lincoln spoke, looking down, but then Lynn remembered something. "Wait, were you in the bathroom? How did you get out?"

"What are you talking about, Lynn? I was in my room the entire time," he said, trying his best to lie so they would drop it. Before anyone could say anything else, their mother's voice called out, "Kids, breakfast!" Rita said.

"Okay, we will deal with this later," Lori said, causing all the Loud sisters to head downstairs, not before glancing at their brother with annoyance. Once they were all gone, Lincoln breathed faster, unable to believe what had happened.

"Did I just turn into a cat?" Lincoln said, still in shock and unaware of what had happened. "How did this happen?" Lincoln wondered until he remembered the events in the cave. Within a few seconds, Lincoln was back in his room, retrieved his phone, and put it down.

While Lincoln prepared himself, he could not help but think about what had happened to him and worry about his friend as well.
