Erin's POV

Mokuba tensed up as Duelist Kingdom became visible from the chopper. I placed a hand on top of his and the younger Kaiba sibling gave me a grateful smile. Not long after we started dating, Seto told me what happened here, and it was understandable why Mokuba didn't like this place.

The chopper landed with ease outside of the castle and Seto got out first. Mokuba and I followed suit and I gave my Zaldrizes his briefcase.

"I'm sure his majesty is somewhere in that castle" Seto stated. "Time to give him or whoever is disguised as him a royal beating"

The doors to the castle opened casually, and seeing it was empty, Mokuba said maybe Pegasus's staff was on vacation or something.

Not likely I thought as the three of us went inside.

Suddenly I sensed danger and warned the Kaiba brothers not to move. And it was a good thing I did because if they had made another step they would have fallen into the depths below.

"That's so not cool! We could have fallen at least 200 feet, nice save Erin"

"I won't let any harm come to you or your brother Lekia" I replied to Mokuba.

Having enough, Seto shouted for Pegasus to show himself, and my blood ran cold when an eerie laugh responded. Then the fake Pegasus emerged from the shadows from the opposite of the room.

"Your lack of patience never fails to amuse me"

Balerion, Vhagar, and Meraxes hissed which confirmed my suspicions that this wasn't the real Maxmillion Pegasus.

"You just as irritating as ever," Seto told the imposter.

"Come on where's the love Kaiba Boy? After all, we've been through so much"

"I didn't come here to catch up; I came here to duel you so you can get out of my life!"

"That's not nice! What have I ever done to deserve such hatred?"

"It's a long list, and I'm short on time," Seto continued, starting to lose his patience.

"Most recently, you stuck your nose where it didn't belong when you started buying up pieces of my company, and I'm sure you're the one who's been ruining my reputation lately by starting this monster scare, aren't you? Admit it! You made it look like duel monsters are taking over the world just to get some attention!"

The fake Pegasus made a comment which Seto brushed off before he noticed me and Mokuba.

"Ah I see you not only brought young Mokuba, but also the Nine-Tailed Fox as well"

"You leave them alone" Seto spat. "Your attention should be on me Pegasus, now I suggest we duel before I really lose my temper"

My Zaldrizes held up his duel disk to prove his point and it wasn't long until a dueling arena was being lowered.

"Come on, buddy, we can watch from up there," I notified Mokuba nodding at the railing. Mokuba nodded, and a short walk later, we were behind said railing. Below was the dueling arena with the fake Pegasus and Seto on opposite ends.

Mokuba shouted his support to my Zaldrizes and my mate looked at his brother and gave him a smirk before doing the same to me. His attention then went to Pegasus and he hooked his duel disk up to the panel in front of him.

Here we go I thought as the duel began.

The imposter started the duel off with Toon Alligator in defense and placed one card face down. Seto's first monster, Spear Dragon, and my Zaldrizes used it to destroy Toon Alligator. The fake Pegasus lost 300 life points thanks to Spear Dragon's special ability and my mate's monster went into defense mode. He concluded his turn by laying two cards face down.

Mokuba and I sweat dropped as the imposter used Toon Table of Contents, and as expected, Toon World was played at the cost of 1000 life points. Toon Masked Sorcerer appeared and I shook my head.

Seto smirked and revealed his Cloning Trap Card and now had his own Toon Masked Sorcerer. The fake Pegasus got annoyed when Seto pointed at his head and mocked the imposter. The intruder had no choice but to end his turn due to him not being able to attack Seto without repercussions.

I then saw the familiar glint in my boyfriend's eye and knew he was about to summon Blue Eyes. And sure enough, my Zaldrizes sacrificed Spear Dragon and Toon Masked Sorcerer to bring out the fierce dragon of light.

"Now that's what I'm talking about! Go Seto!" Mokuba shouted.

"In case you have forgotten Kaiba Boy, only Toon Monsters can destroy the other, so my sorcerer is safe for now"

"I haven't forgotten and I won't let a technicality stop me!"

The fake Pegasus sighed before revealing Toon Mask.

Mokuba and I then did an anime fall as a mother freaking Toon version of Blue Eyes came to life.

"You know how much I hate that thing!" Seto shouted. "Your cartoon dragon is a disgrace to the original Blue Eyes!"

"Damned straight!" I agreed.

Blue Eyes Toon Dragon cried, and having enough, Seto played Shrink. The Toon version of Blue Eyes got smaller and Seto commanded his Blue Eyes to attack. But the attack missed and Blue Eyes Toon Dragon looked relieved.

"I hope Seto draws a card that will help him soon"

"I hope so too Lekia"

Seto then chose to play Charms of Lamentation and every time Blue Eyes attacked and should the attack fail my Zaldrizes could draw a new card. For now, all my mate could do was keep up this strategy until he had the card he needed.

After his draw, the fake Pegasus paid 500 life points so Blue Eyes Toon Dragon could attack Seto directly. But Seto was ready and revealed Negate Attack but the fake Pegasus countered with Toon Rollback. But instead, the imposter sacrificed the mini Blue Eyes, and Toon Dark Magician Girl took Toon Dragon's place. I wasn't going to lie; Toon Dark Magician Girl was cute, but Mokuba and I winced when she successfully attacked Seto directly, making my beloved's life points go down to 2000.

Blue Eyes then was ordered to attack again, and as predicted, the attack missed Dark Magician Girl. But that was all Seto needed, and he drew a new card. And that gorgeous smile of his came to his lips. After insulting the imposter Pegasus my Zaldrizes played A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon. Blue Eyes returned to his hand just as a fiery dragon came to life.

It then destroyed all of the fake Pegasus's magic and trap cards. Toon World got destroyed, and with it, Dark Magician Girl. My mate then finished his turn by playing Versago the Destroyer in defense mode. The intruder was quiet and I bet whoever he really was, he was about to reveal his true identity. And I was proven right when Seto's opponent's voice changed, and the intruder threw off his disguise.

In the fake Pegasus's place was a human male I didn't recognize but it was obvious he knew Seto.

"You're gonna pay for tricking me like that! Identify yourself!"

The human stated his name was Alister and that their duel was about to become more serious. I definitely had a bad feeling about this.
