AN: Sorry writer's block but I had a little help.
Decided to add what's going on topside, sort of a callback to the first episode of Winx club season 4 in the Hallway of enchantments which show a rogue gallery of enemies.
And added a reference to one movie in the vent scene for laughs while the monsters are sneaking about along with the mishaps in that Haunted house episode.
Chapter 13: Lust tower
Meanwhile back in Alfea, the grand halls of Alfea, the most prestigious boarding school for fairies, stood serene and quiet—at least on the surface. Inside the Headmistress's office, tension filled the air as Kylie, Dana, Haruna, Sara, and Yui stood nervously in front of Faragonda, the wise and calm Headmistress, and Griselda, the stern Deputy Headmistress. They had been trying to explain the whereabouts of their missing friends, Beth, Theo, and Zaira from what the KND told them about the whereabouts of Beth, Theo and Zaira.
But Isla and her posseé were trying to slander them…
Kylie gesturing earnestly, "Headmistress, we promise, Beth, Theo, and Zaira didn't just skip school for no reason! Our friends told us they went to-"
Before Kylie could finish, Isla and her posse barged into the office, smirking smugly.
Isla interrupts with a dramatic tone, "Because they joined a violent gang of terrorists! Isn't that right, girls?"
The rest of Isla's clique, agreed, "Oh, totally. They probably ditched school to start vandalizing in the otherside."
Faragonda raised an eyebrow while Griselda crossed her arms, looking unimpressed. Kylie, Dana, Haruna, Sara, and Yui exchanged annoyed glances but stayed quiet, letting the Headmistress deal with the interruption.
Griselda said firmly "It is wrong, of course, that Beth, Theo, and Zaira skipped classes and ventured into uncharted and dangerous territory like the fiery Underworld."
This made Isla and the other mean girls give a smug grin at the girls.
But Griselda continued with a sharp tone, "However, I also expect our students to show some integrity and set a good example by telling the truth."
The smug grins of Isla and her posse immediately vanished. Now it was Kylie, Dana, Haruna, Sara and Yui's turn to grin.
Isla and the the other mean girls protest but Faragonda calmly speaks, "Now Isla, you expect me to believe that Beth, Theo and Zaira deliberately skipped school to start vandalizing in the human world for merely 3 days?"
Isla opened her mouth to argue, but no words came out. Her friends looked equally flustered. Griselda nodded approvingly at Faragonda's statement.
Faragonda continued, "And even if they did, we have to ask ourselves - why would they do something like that? What could have possibly possessed them to ditch school and head to the afterlife?"
"According to one of our friend's, they claim Beth along with Theo and Zaira with the monsters are playing detective in Pentagram city, the capitol of Hell because the dragonballs were stolen by a demon," said Dana
Faragonda's eyes widened at this revelation.
"Dragonballs? Stolen by a demon?" she repeated, surprised.
Griselda seemed equally shocked and said, "That's a serious accusation. Are these friends of yours sure about this?"
"They said there was video evidence in Beth, Zaira and Theo's Room." replied Dana. She pulled out a laptop from the room connected to a camera. She roll back the tape only to show the footage where a cloaked shadow emerging from a portal ransacking the room and snagging the dragon balls before disappearing through the portal.
They all looked into video of the portal which shows a familiar city, one Yui, Sara and Nat knew too well after an incident involving the Yominet site that led them to that dystopian metropolis.
Sara leaned closer to the screen, "That portal… it looks familiar."
Yui's eyes narrowed, "Yeah. We've seen that city before."
"That's pentagram city, Alright" confirmed Sara. "Remember the Yominet incident?"
"I can't believe they left to retrieve them without consulting or alerting us." complained Yui
"I think they didn't want to bother us because we were busy with organizing the New Year's party days ago" reasoned Haruna.
"Be as it may, they are in very real danger" spoke Faragonda in a grim voice.
"Ugh! How come they're getting off scot free!" whined Isla, "They broke the rules!"
Miss Griselda turned with a stern tone to the mean girl possé, "We'll discuss that later. For now, Miss Isla, you and your friends may return to your studies. Immediately..."
Isla and her clique gave each other frustrated looks before sulking out of the office. The moment they were gone, the tension eased slightly.
While the mean girls walked out of the office, something drew Dana to a hall within the Headmistress's office. She finds a part of the hall which contains paintings of every single threat they have faced and even some forgotten figures.
"What's with the rogue gallery Miss Faragonda?" Sara inquired looking at the portaits and statues representing the threats.
Faragonda and Griselda exchanged knowing looks before the Headmistress led the rest of the girls into the hall. The walls were adorned with portraits and statues of various figures—some familiar, some forgotten.
"Pictures of the magic dimension's enemies.."replied the Headmistress, she even pointed to familiar enemies like the Trix, Darkar and Valtor. "All the enemies are here,"
The girls scanned the collection, spotting familiar faces.
"Hey look! Even the Child hating supervillians are among them" laughed Yui.
Faragonda nodded, "Yes, but there are also forgotten figures and threats that you may one day have to face."
At Faragonda's words, Griselda's expression shifted to one of deep concern. She looked at the portraits and statues with a solemn expression, her mind racing with thoughts.
"Forgotten figures..." Griselda whispered, as she scrutinized the pictures of the enemies they have faced before.
Faragonda continued, "Yes, there are some figures here we have yet to face, and perhaps our girls have walked into their path."
Dana then stopped at a particularly large portrait far back in the Hall of Enchantments, one that made her squint curiously.
This portrait contained some bizarrely sinister creatures. There was a two-headed sea serpent-like creature in the left corner of the portrait, with a dichotomy in her anatomy; her body was divided into two, indicated by the left half of her body appearing white and the right half of her body indigo. Both heads share lengthy fin-like white hair styled in a mohawk. However, the left head is more humanoid, has webbed ears and electric blue eyes with black sclera and cyan eyeshadow, while the right is more animalistic, has a longer neck, pupil-less seafoam green eyes, and a fanged, eel-like snout. In addition, the left head's hair has faint pink streaks on it with a black strip and violet gradient interior; the right head's hair is bioluminescent, with black streaks on the topside, a dark violet-cyan gradient interior, and green spots scattered across. She is wearing a sleeveless high-collar black crop top with a diamond-shaped cutout and twin downward-facing swirls, the right swirl being violet and the left swirl lavender. She wears a black skirt featuring a semicircle-patterned rim bearing the same color split as the swirls. She also wore elbow-length gloves; black on the left and white on the right. Each head wears a light cyan pearl necklace with only the left head wearing pearl earrings, and has a cyan belt to match.
Next to the serpent creature was an indigo, rooster like creature with a cyan mane showing two extra heads, and he wore a cerise suit decorated with a few hearts along with a cerise tophat while he had his left hand holding flames forming a heart.
On the right corner of the portrait was an anthro vixen with insect like features along with multiple arms, a pair of antennae attached to her ears, and a small pair of insect wings. She has yellow and pink-striped fur like a bee, and black markings that give a dripping appearance down her arms and legs. Her hair and tail seemed to be made of either honey or lava lamp fluid and glow bright pink, blue, and orange, with her stomach also being a lava lamp. She has a pink stripe on her head. She wore red, yellow and black clothes.
On the left starting the second row was an obese jester like creature, that wore a green and lime green jester hat with some yellow decoration that looked like a crown and a green and black suit that was decorated with a few bones but the tie was yellow with a dollar sign.
In the center of the second row, was a titanic and muscular dragon that had two pairs of warm orange-yellow eyes, and two pairs of striped-horns that are different in appearance - the outer horns are longer and are two shades of mauve, while the inner horns are shorter and are black-and-white, similar to that of a male imp, and they are positioned in a way that resembles a pitchfork. His skin appears to be different shades of red with claw-like fingers, darker-red markings, and warm orange-yellow lava-like stripes covering his wings, neck, and left arm, while on his right the stripes are dark red. He also sport black spikes coming out his back, all the way down to his large, demonic tail, which has a spearhead-shaped point at the end. His outfit consisted of a mauve tank top under a black torn vest with tassels, red lapels, and golden fasteners shaped like barbell weights, black leather trousers with a belt that has a golden skull buckle, and black cowboy ankle boots.
On right side of the dragon was a lavender four-armed sheep-like creature with long puffy wool acting as her hair. She had a melting black candle on her head with a pink flame, similar to the Baphomet demons, with the tips of her ears also resembling the melting wax dripping from her candle. She haf a pair of thin, black, pointed horns on top of her head, and her arms had a black-purple gradient that stops at her fingers, resembling fingerless gloves. She has five eyes on her face — one pair being her main eyes, with horizontally slit pale pupils, the second pair slightly smaller, positioned just above her main eyes, and the last singular eye on her forehead. She also has an elongated white neck with five eyes vertically down the front, with three having black sclera, white irises and long lashes, and two being a blank purple.
And on the very top of the portrait was a pale blonde man but his eyes had a light yellow sclera and red pupils. His mouth was full of sharp teeth, sporting black sharp eyebrows, and his eyelids are light purple. His forearms also appeared to be dark gray when his sleeves are rolled up. His white and red clothing is somewhat like that of a circus ringmaster; he wore a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden snake and a red apple over golden spikes, which resemble a crown, and a red-lined and red-trimmed white popped-collared suit with eight golden buttons - his coat worn over a light red-and-white striped waistcoat with two golden buttons and a small, accessorized black bowtie. He also woers a set of heeled black knee-high boots. But what was noticeable was the six white and red wings behind his back.
Dana asked the headmistress who were those creatures on the portrait, while pointing, "Ms. Faragonda, how come there's a painting of monsters over here?"
Faragonda, who had been walking ahead, stopped abruptly and glanced back at the painting. Her expression shifted to one of alarm before quickly softening into a calm, composed demeanor.
But she calmed and explained in a measured tone, "Those are NOT monsters, Dana. And calling them that would be an insult to the native inhabitants of Mewni and the harmless garbage monsters."
Dana's eyes widened as she listened to Faragonda's explanation. "Sorry," she quickly apologized, feeling a bit embarrassed at her choice of words.
Faragonda gave a small reassuring smile, "It's okay, Dana. It's a common mistake many make. But do remember, those beings depicted in the picture are far from harmless." She then gestured towards the painting of the mysterious and ominous creatures.
Faragonda's gaze returned to the painting as if remembering something deeply troubling. The girls exchanged uneasy glances before Haruna spoke up.
"But what are they?" Haruna walked over to see what Dana was looking at.
Faragonda and Griselda exchanged serious looks, clearly debating how much to reveal. After a brief pause, Faragonda turned to the girls, her tone grave, "Those are the Deadley Sins, a group of ancient and monstrously powerful demons who rule over the seven rings of Hell, with Lucifer being their leader."
The girls froze as the weight of Faragonda's words sank in. A chill seemed to settle in the room, and the once awe-inspiring Hall of Enchantments now felt eerily oppressive.
"The Deadley Sins?" Haruna spoke up, her voice tinged with fear.
"And Lucifer... as in, the devil?" Kylie added, unable to hide the dread in her voice.
Faragonda nodded gravely. "Yes, the seven rings of Hell and the demons who rule over them are a real thing. And Lucifer, also known as the devil, is their leader, the High King of the fiery underworld."
Faragonda stepped closer to the painting, gesturing to each figure as she spoke.
Faragonda points to the two-headed sea serpent, "This is Leviathan, the Sin of Envy. Her dual nature reflects the jealousy and inner conflict that envy creates."
Faragonda gestures to the indigo rooster like chimera, "This is Asmodeus, the Sin of Lust. His flamboyant appearance and hypnotic charm embody the seductive nature of lust."
Faragonda points to the vixen with insect-like features, This is Beelzebub, the Sin of Gluttony. Her insatiable hunger for indugence is as endless as her glowing, lava-lamp-like form."
Faragonda motions to the obese jester, "This is Mammon, the Sin of Greed. His obsession with wealth and material possessions is reflected in his gaudy attire."
Faragonda turns to the massive dragon, "This is Satan, the Sin of Wrath. His titanic size and fiery appearance reflect the destructive rage he embodies."
Faragonda gestures to sheep-like demon, "This is Belphegor, the Sin of Sloth. Her lethargic yet haunting presence represents the apathy and stagnation of sloth."
She then finally points to the pale blonde man with six wings, "And this… is Lucifer, the Sin of Pride, The Devil himself and king of the Seven Rings of Hell. His wings and regal attire symbolize the arrogance and self-importance that define pride."
The girls stared at the painting in stunned silence, struggling to process the horrifying revelations. Yui finally broke the silence.
Yui barely whispered "So… they're real. All of them."
Faragonda said grimly, "Yes. And while they rarely interfere with the Magic Dimension, their influence can still be felt. They are ancient, powerful, and far more dangerous than most beings could comprehend."
Knut passes by as he's sweeping and yelps when he sees he's near the portrait of the Sins. "Ahh! That paitning of the king of Wrath is looking at me!"
Griselda snaps back, "No, it isn't! It's just a picture."
" So… you're saying Beth, Theo, and Zaira are in their territory right now?" asked Sara sounding nervous
Faragonda sighing heavily, "I'm afraid so. And that is why it is imperative we bring them home safely."
The room fell silent again as the weight of the situation pressed down on them. The view lingered on the painting of the Deadly Sins, their sinister forms almost seeming to move in the flickering torchlight. The girls, now acutely aware of the danger their friends were in, steeled themselves for whatever came next.
Back in hell, Beth's group is huddled in a dark alley, just outside the fancy Lust Ring club where they planned to tail Fizz and Ozzie.
They watched as they stepped into a purple limo and it drives off.
No choice, Beth gestures Theo and Zaira to follow her. Beth sprouts her wings to fly over, Theo follows than Zaira while holding the bag where the monsters were. Krumm curled up deep in the bag, he hated flying because he was scared of heights.
The Robofizz just watched as it was forced to follow them.
The group followed to limo until it stopped a tower like building. The tower inherited the extravagant style of Asmodeus himself and was taller than any building or skyscraper in the Lust Ring, reaching the height of the clouds. The top had rings of windows and many hanging lights, as well as tail feathers wrapped around that resemble those of Asmodeus. The tower was magenta in color with multiple blue windows and a modern style.
The couple stepped in as the group landed nearby another building watching. They landed closer by an alley trying to figure out their next move.
Icki paced nervously, his large ears twitching as he glances toward the tower. "This is crazy. No—this is worse than crazy. This is suicidal! We're breaking into the place of a deadly sin AND his creepy clown boyfriend. Do you have any idea of what they'll do if they catch us?"
Theo couldn't help but joke, "Let me guess. They'll pull your ears and call you a bunny?"
Ickis whirls around, glaring at Theo, "I'M NOT A RABBIT! How many times do I have to say it?!" He gestures wildly to his body, "Do rabbits have claws? Fangs? NO! I am a terrifying monster from the land of nightmares, thank you very much!"
Theo then added, "To be fair, Verosika and her clique did mistake you as one. So in case you're caught, chances are Fizz and Oz might mistake you for one."
Ickis threws his arms up in frustration, "I can't believe this. Even Fireball Theo is mocking me!"
Oblina then spoke up, "Never mind, Ickis. We have bigger problems than demons mistaking your species. Like how we're going to sneak past the literal embodiment of Lust and his overly cheerful jester."
Beth agreed, "We have a job to do. That dragonball isn't going to return back to earth by itself."
Zaira looked at Beth, then added, "Yeah but one problem:howare we supposed to get in there? It's like they left the door open for us."
Beth steps forward, looking at the mansion with determination. The others gather around her, though Ickis is still muttering about how doomed they are.
Beth tells them the plan, "Okay, here's how it's gonna go. Ickis, Krumm, and Oblina will sneak in through the vents. Same plan as back in Crimson's mansion. You find the dragonball and bring it back outside. Simple."
Ickis points out a problem, "Simple? That place has, like, a billion floors! How are we supposed to know where it is?"
Beth grinned and explained, "Easy, when it comes to jewelry. You usually take it off and place it on a dresser, vanity table or a night stand in a bedroom. You just have to find their sleeping quarters"
Ickis shuddered, "I'm not comfortable with that…What if they're already in the bedroom? Or worse—what if they're doing Lust Ring stuff in there? I don't need that burned into my brain."
"I'm all for getting the dragonballs but… shouldn't we be giving him a consolation prize?" Theo asked with a shrug. "Well, if they're a couple as we suspect, maybe something else? I'm just saying, if we're breaking into their home, shouldn't we leave Fizz a consolation prize? You know, a little something to say,'Sorry we burgled you, have a nice day.'"
Zaira answered in a deadpan voice, "Like what? Chocolate flowers?"
"What about this? " Theo pulls out some antique jeweled brooch in the shape of a frog. "I still got left over from that bit of treasure…"
Zaira muttered, "A frog brooch?"
Oblina interrupted, "Nevermind that, we must stick to the plan. This is a covert mission, not a delivery service."
Beth motions for them to move closer to the building, skirting along the bushes. They crouch behind a fountain shaped like a pair of entwined succubi. Ickis keeps glancing nervously at the windows by the entrance.
Beth then whispers "Krumm,"
"Yeah?" asked the small hairy monster.
Beth whispers something to him, to which Krumm grins "Surveillance. Got it."
Krumm rolls his detached eyeball across the ground, near the glass door discretely, peering in the entrance of the building. The eye sees Fizz and Ozzie stepping onto an elevator after greeting some succubi.
Krumm turns to the group, and explains what is inside the place and about the elevator, looking up at the massive tower, his hands clutching his eyeballs nervously, "I don't like the idea of having to go up there…"
"You don't have to go if you don't want to," said Zaira gently.
"Oh No!" Ickis protested. "If we're going then Krumms coming along also,"
It's true, whenever they did scares, Ickis, Oblina and Krumm were always a team. It never stopped them before when they went on adventures for scare assignments.
Even Oblina added her input, "I don't like it either, despite it being risky but we the three of us being grabge monsters have the advantage of being small in size and easy to hide," She turne to Krumm, "Listen, Krumm, we've done this a hundred times before. Sneaking through vents is practically second nature to us! You'll be fine, as long as you don't look down. Or look out. Or look at anything reflective."
Ickis then asks, "Wouldn't it be faster if we use the dragonradar, in case it's not in plain sight?"
Zaira shook her head. "Bad idea. The dragonradar makes noise, it might alert them. They'll be wondering where that beeping sound is coming from."
There's a brief pause as the monster trio exchanges uncertain glances. Finally, Krumm sighs and adjusts his grip on his eyeballs.
So the three monsters sneak in through the vent undetected by the succubi and incubi working there, Oblina was right they were small enough to steathly pass by.
They begin climbing toward the vent entrance, which is located near the base of the tower. Ickis leads the way, grumbling under his breath about how "not a rabbit" he is. Beth, Theo, and Zaira stay behind, watching as the monsters awkwardly clamber up the side of the building.
Theo leaning casually against a wall, "So… we're just gonna wait here and hope they don't get caught?"
Beth just shot Theo a look, "We're going to watch their backs. If anything goes wrong, we'll come up with a distraction."
Zaira looked up at the glowing tower in concern, "They better be quick. I don't want to find out what happens if we get caught in the Lust Ring."
The monsters disappear into the vents, Krumm muttering about heights, Oblina grumbling about Ickis' ego, and Ickis nervously trying to convince himself that this is all going to work out. The glowing lights of the tower reflect off the clouds above, hinting at the chaos yet to come.
While the monsters, Ickis Krumm and Oblina were climb the air ducts, the staff inside of the building were going about their day, one security incubus notcied something on the screen which was a digital blue print of the air conditioning system. Mne of the monitors flashed red, accompanied by a loud beep. On the screen, the digital blueprint of the air ducts lights up, with a blinking red dot in one section labeled "Unidentified Blockage: Zone 1-1C."
It alerted Warning Blockage detected.
"Looks like we got ourselves a blockage." said the incubus.
But what the staff didn't know was that it was the three monsters that had snuck into the vents.
"Whatever it is, we've got a button for that." Said one succubus. She presses the letter "P" on the keyboard. "There. Purge activated."
Back with the monsters, they finished climbing onto a ledge withing the vent, they are alarmed by the sound of vent clattering which echoes through the vents, making all three monsters freeze.
Before they can react, a deafening whoosh roars through the duct system. The monsters are caught off guard as a powerful gust of wind blasts through the vents, sending them flying like leaves in a hurricane.
They screamed as they were blown away within the ventilation shaft like a strong wing pushed them around as they all of the vent up, left and right through the entensive the air ducts.
"WHOA!"
The monsters are whipped around the ventilation system like pinballs, crashing into walls, spinning through sharp turns, and ricocheting down long tubes. The camera cuts to the security room, where the succubus and incubus casually watch the red dot zip through the blueprint like a rollercoaster.
Back in the vents, the monsters' wild ride finally comes to an abrupt halt as they smash face-first into a metal wall. The impact leaves a cartoonish dent in the shape of their faces.
A nearby worker passing through the hallway hears the loud crash and glances up at the vent. He sees the dented wall but shrugs, assuming it's just part of the building's bizarre design. He walks away without a second thought.
The monsters reluctantly get back to their feet and continue crawling through the vents, more cautious this time.
The monsters crawl cautiously through the vents after their chaotic ventilation purge ride. They're bruised, annoyed, and increasingly nervous about what lies ahead. Ickis, leading the group, pauses as they reach a vent grating.
Ickis whispering Alright, let's see where we are now. Let's hope it's something useful this time.
Oblina sarcastically, "Yes, because the last vent full of those scented lotions humans use and "night toys" were so enlightening."
They peeked through the ventilation grating hopig they were on the right track but all it showed was some more Succubi carrying supplies to a factory like room.
Ickis shook his head at Oblina and Krumm before they crawl further down the vent. After a few minutes, they come across another grating.
When they peek through the ventilation grating they see some more incubi and succubi in some breakroom connecting to a hallway with a vending machine but with some colorful content they can't make out.
They eavesdrop on the conversation where they mentioned needing to deliver a package to Ozz which involved some supplies for the latest technology. It turns out, Ozzie and Fizz's home is located in the very top of the tower building, much to Krumm's horror.
The monsters exchange wide-eyed glances, realizing the implication.
Oblina whispered "Did you hear that? Ozzie and Fizz are at the top of the tower! That's where the dragonball must be!"
Ickis deadpan, "Oh, wonderful. The very top. Because this mission wasn't difficult enough already."
Krumm stammered in alarm, "T-the t-top? You mean we have to climb all the way up there?!"
Krumm actually faints when, after climbing up into a vent that leads to a high floor, he, Ickis and Oblina have to navigate up to the very last floor where Ozzie and Fizz's home is located.
"Krumm!" Oblina and Ickis slap him lightly, "Get a grip! You want the embodiment of lust or the other sins to find out the dragonballs secret?"
Ickis said "It's just up there…"
They push a scared and reluctant krumm up the ventilation shaft.
They continue crawling through the vents, climbing higher and higher. The neon glow from the factory fades as they ascend, replaced by dim, ambient light. The higher they go, the more Krumm starts to panic. He clings to the walls of the vent, muttering nervously to himself.
After a few hours, the monsters finally reaching the top of the largest vent shaft. When they peek out the ventilation grating, it shows a luxurious and very large room connecting to a bedroom. It had dark blue hues along with other matching warm colors, this must be the penthouse of Ozzie and Fizz which had glowing lights, fancy furniture, and a vanity which held some jester hats but what made the monsters uncomfortable was that the there more of those 'night toys' human use.
Oblina peered through the vent,"This must be it. The home of Asmodeus and Fizzarolli."
Ickis eyes widening, "Uh… are those… what I think they are?"
Krumm nods feeling disturbed himself, "Y-yep. Those are definitely human night toys. Why do demons even need those?! Aren't they, well… already Lust-themed?"
Oblina shuddering, "Don't ask. Don't think about it. Let's just find the dragonball before something else happens."
They carfeully and quietly drop down, no sign of the jester imp or the embodiment of Lust, not even the dragonball.
Ickis whispering as he looks around nervously "Alright,so far so good, no sign of them. Let's grab the dragonball and get out of here and fast."
Oblina rolling her eyes, in sarcasm "When does something go wrong with us?"
But before they can look over, they jump at hearing Fizz and Ozzie's voices aproaching. It seemed the couple had decided to take a shower and were emerging from the bathroom.
The monsters exchange panicked looks as the voices grow louder, signaling that Fizz and Ozzie are about to emerge. Acting quickly, they dive behind a large chest near the elevated bed, huddling together in panic as the door to the bathroom opens.
They look out and watch, Ozzie was wearing a red bathrobe while Fizz had made himself comfortable in some simple night wear.
Their eyes widen with recognition as they see the familiar orb glowing faintly. They beamed as they see the dragonball on Fizz's necklace as he removes it, casually places it on the vanity table.
Ickis whispered excitedly pointing, "Look it's the dragonball!"
"And all we have to do is get past them without being seen." Said Oblina
Ickis then whispered with a whine "But how are we going to reach it? Fizz is right there! What if he sees us? Or what if Ozzie sees us?! You heard what the Gromble said about demons—they don't like intruders from the world of the living!"
Krumm merely answered calmly "I don't think they'll stay in the room all night…."
Then watch in shock as Fizz changed his cap because as he removed it, under the cap revealed that the imp had broken horns!
The monsters shook themselves to focus. They watch as both Ozzie and Fizz just set up their stuff as if to have everything ready for tommorrow.
The trio sneaks out from their hiding spot, slowly making their way toward the vanity. But as they do, the inevitable mishaps begin.
As Ickis crawls toward the vanity, he is unintentionally sucked into the vacum cleaner screaming when Sharon the imp maid got distracted briefly who was cleaning the room.
Fizz hears his faint screaming and glances around, frowning.
"Did you hear something?" inquired Fizz looking puzzled.
Asmodeus glancing lazily toward the sound, shrugs "Probably, someone getting it on…"
Oblina, trying to avoid being seen, but is accidentally slammed by the door leading to a closet by an obvlious Ozzie, who had ideas after his movie night with Fizz.
Krumm, meanwhile, tries to sneak around the other side of the room. Unfortunately, he slips and falls into a bucket of detergent water left by the staff. His eyeballs float up in the bubbles but nobody notices.
Fizz and Ozzie, oblivious to the chaos that had unfolded in their bedroom, walk to the living room lounge, to simply relax watching a small movie.
Eventually, the monsters regroup after their mishaps, with Ickis shaking off the vacuum bag, Krumm retrieving his eyeballs, and Oblina emerging from the closet looking frazzled.
Ickis whined "Are we done yet? Please tell me we're done."
Oblina replied "As soon as we grab the dragonball we leave."
The three of them turn their attention to the glowing dragonball sitting on the vanity. It's orange hue reflecting faintly in the dimly lit room.
Finally they climbed and manage to grab the dragonball discretely. Ickis carefully grabs the dragonball, managing to lift it without making a sound. The trio exchanges relieved glances as Ickis holds it up triumphantly.
As they prepare to leave, Krumm pulls out the frog-shaped brooch Theo had given them earlier. He looks at it nervously before placing it carefully on the vanity table in the spot where the dragonball had been.
Oblina grabs a small piece of paper and hastily scribbles a note. "Sorry for taking the dragonball but it's one of Earth's supernatural treasures. Here's a gift in return!" She places the note next to the brooch.
Krumm looked at the note, and spoke, "That… doesn't sound very convincing."
Oblina shot him a look, "It's better than nothing. Now let's go."
after scrambling back to the ventilation shaft, it then focuses on the note as the note flutters gently landing near a magazine, indicating that it would become important later on.
The frog brooch gleams faintly under the light of the room. The magazine cover had Lust ring News and the headline read "Royal Scandal Special" featuring pictures of Asmodeus and Fizzarolli.
Oblina sighed "Let's just hope they don't come looking for us after they find the note."
From the penthouse, the glowing lights of the Lust Ring shine outside the window. The dragonball is finally in the hands of the monsters, but the note and brooch linger ominously, ensuring the couple might have something to say about this later.
The monsters, battered but triumphant, crawl back down the ventilation shaft with the dragonball in tow. Ickis leads the way, still grumbling about how much trouble they went through to get it, while Krumm and Oblina struggle to keep it from falling out of their hands as they head back. After some awkward maneuvering, they finally reach the vent they entered from and drop down into the shadows outside the tower.
They sneak back to the rendezvous point where Beth, Theo, and Zaira are waiting. The fairies were seated waiting in the alley, their eyes scanning the tower nervously. When the monsters emerge from the shadows, Theo jumps up, relieved.
Theo exclaimed "There you are! What took you so long? We thought you got caught or something."
Ickis grinning smugly as he holds up the dragonball, "Mission accomplished"
The dragonball glows faintly in the dim light, and the fairies exchange impressed looks. Beth steps forward, inspecting the orb closely.
Beth said "You got it! Two dragonballs down, five to go. Way to go guys"
Zaira sighed in relief, I can't believe you actually pulled it off. You didn't run into Ozzie or Fizz, did you?
"We did kind of saw them but they didn't see us either…" said Krumm
Oblina smirking Unfortunately, which we had a few mishaps.
Ickis still nervous, "Yeah, well, I don't think they're gonna be too happy when they find out we borrowed it. You think they'll come after us?"
Oblina replied shrugging. "Perhaps. But that's future us's problem. For now, we have what we came for."
Krumm says,"Though I'm surprised since these robofizzes were made from this place, they didn't have security like we saw one."
The monsters began exchanging nervous glances which Theo notices. "What do you mean? What aren't you telling us?"
Oblina looked at the girls and explained, "I did not believe it was important but after seeing that these were made here. Well before we followed Fizz and Ozzie to the tower… there was a tiny incident at the lounge that caused our fall."
The screen fades to a flashback of the night lounge. The glamorous venue is buzzing with activity: neon lights glow warmly, demons mingle and drink, and music fills the air. On stage, Beth is in the middle of her song number, standing confidently under a spotlight. The fairies and monsters are scattered around the lounge, all keeping an eye on the crowd.
Beth on stage singing:
You think you're so perfect, so smooth and refined,
But your love lives are rotten, a mess by design!
You ridicule others, but what's the truth?
This is your wake-up call, here's the ugly truth!
The song is a parody of "The Ugly Truth" from The UglyDolls, but Beth's lyrics are sharp and direct, aimed squarely at Asmodeus and Fizzarolli. The crowd murmurs in shock as Beth continues, unfazed by their reactions.
Beth pointing to Asmodeus and Fizzarolli in the crowd:
You laugh at true love, say it's nothing but games,
But look at yourselves—you're doing the same!
You humiliate others, tear them apart,
Yet you're the hypocrites with tangled-up hearts!
Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, seated near the stage, exchange surprised looks. Fizz looks annoyed, while Ozzie raises an eyebrow, clearly not used to being called out like this.
High above the stage, the monsters are perched on a metal scaffolding, watching the scene unfold. Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm are trying to stay out of sight as they observe, whispering among themselves.
"Why is she doing this? She's gonna get us all in trouble!" Ickis whispering "What's the plan again? We just wait for Beth to finish, and…
Oblina spoke trying to sound calm, "Just stay quiet. We're here to watch the crowd, not get involved."
Krumm then spoke "do you have feeling were being watched?"
Oblina rolling her eyes, "Krumm, no one's watching us. There's no recording things and We're in a scaffold. Who would even-"
Before she can finish, a mechanical whirring sound catches their attention. The monsters turn their heads and freeze as they spot a robotic Fizzarolli hiding in the shadows nearby, its glowing eyes locked onto them. The robot tilts its head, spying on the group without saying a word.
The monsters yelped in alarm thus misstepping on the scaffolding. Ickis trips first, grabbing Krumm for balance, and Krumm accidentally pulls Oblina down with him. The three of them tumble off the scaffolding with a loud CRASH, bringing parts of the stage set down with them.
The flashback ends, cutting back to the present.
Beth looks smug as the monsters finish telling their side of the story.
Beth shrugging "What? They deserved it. Someone had to call them out."
Oblina exasperated, "Yes, well, we didn't deserve to fall off the scaffolding!"
Krumm grumbled, "Or get chased out by a robot."
Ickis than asked sounding anxious "What if the robot's still watching us?! What if it knows where we are?!"
Theo rolled her eyes, "Relax Ickis. We handled it, didn't we? You're fine. And Funny I don't see Robofizzes nearby."
The group pauses to glance around cautiously. The street is quiet, and there's no sign of the robotic Fizzarolli. For a moment, they collectively sigh in relief.
Oblina looked about,"Yes. It semmed might have been a fluke…"
"Maybe it belonged to one those fans…" Zaira said before turning to glare at Beth, "Lucky for us, none the fans attacked us for Beth's stunt"
Beth only frowned while folding her arms, "Hey, I don't care if people liked my song or not. Hypocritical bullies like Ozzie and Fizz deserve to be roasted."
The group laughs nervously, the dragonball glowing faintly in their hands as they prepare to move on to their next mission.
"So what do we now?" asked Ickis
Beth replied in a matter-of-factly tone, "Next stop is the Wrath ring, the dragonradar signaled it's there"
"I just hope there's no high places or vents this time…" said Krumm
The girls and Monsters walk off down the street, their silhouettes illuminated by the dim glow of Lust Ring's neon lights. Then it shows a familiar Robotic Fizarolli, the same one that had been following them.
After chasing the fairies and monsters, the robofizz is seen dragging itself to the alley near Ozzie's tower.
The robot's sensors flicker as it picks up faint traces of movement. It swivels its head and spots the group far ahead, walking away in the distance. The fairies and monsters are completely oblivious to its presence, already yards ahead and focused on heading to the wrath to get the next dragonball.
It was obvious that the group doubled back, the Robofizz slumps slightly, clearly realizing it's arrived too late. Its shoulders twitch in frustration as it lets out a mechanical groan, expressing it by banging it's head repeatedly against the wall.
To be continued….
