It was a harmless prank, or at least it seemed that way at the time. How was he supposed to know she would even drive to where a pet store was?! While he didn't want it to seem like it wasn't funny, he didn't think she'd even drive remotely close to one! He was just hoping she'd crash into the ditch he had perfectly placed with a target, he had his priorities. It was already hard enough explaining it to Emma, but now she wanted him to explain it to her dad, and he scared Chase a whole lot. "E-Emma, d-do I h-have t-to?" He asked her. "Yes! You're the one who broke the breaks on my car and now you have to explain it to him!" She yelled. "H-how w-was I s-supposed t-to know it was yours and not one of my friends? You all have similar c-cars..." he said. "THAT DOESN'T MATTER! YOU BROKE MY CAR AND NOW YOUR GONNA EXPLAIN IT TO MY DAD UNDERSTOOD?!" He gulped and nodded. Once they got to the door Emma's dad was waiting there. "Hey dad, Chase has something he wants to tell you," she said, pushing Chase towards him. "H-hey s-sir…" Chase said nervously. "What do you have to say?" He asked him. "S-so u-uh… I uh… I… well… it's a funny story I'm sure you'll laugh at it… well… it's hilarious…" "I'm sure it's funny and I'm sure it's hilarious now there's one thing I don't know, what is it?" "Well uhm…. I may have accidently cut the breaks off of Emma's car but please don't kill me she and all my friends have the same car in the exact same color so I didn't know!" Chase said quickly, putting his hands up over his face. "Get. Away. FROM MY DAMN HOUSE!" Chase gulped nervously and ran as fast as he could. Why didn't people understand he didn't know it was her car?
He tried out for Total Drama so he could get away from all the hate people online were giving him. Lots of comments saying: "All those poor animals, how could you?" and "I can't believe he could be so selfish, like own up to it dude!" were really getting to him. So he quickly resorted to stopping his vlogs for the time being, just until everything died down. He always had to cry himself to sleep cause nobody was even trying to be on his side, just Emma's. He ripped every picture of him and Emma, trying to forget she was ever in his life. Though they never broke up as far as he was concerned. "YOU! WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?!" "Babe?" "DON'T CALL ME BABE!" Why didn't Emma like being called babe? Usually it was all she ever wanted him to call her. Were they through? All because of a car? She couldn't be serious…..
So she was serious. And she told everyone what had happened, and nobody even bothered to ask him his side of everything. It was upsetting that she could just tell everyone and nobody would even think of asking him how everything really happened. To make matters worse his two best friends from the vlog said that if he didn't get his act together they were gonna leave the vlogs too. Everything Chase had worked for was going down the drain, and him with it.
It was the merge and the final 6, Chase had to make things right before he couldn't. "Hey Emma, can we talk, please?" He asked her, begging. "Fine, what do you want?" He asked her. "I was wondering if you and I can start over? Please, I've been thinking long and hard about this. I'll give up everything, the vlogs, my helicopter, and even my friends. Just please, can you rethink our relationship?" She sat there in silence. Chase was hoping she'd accept his apology, cause he knew if she didn't he would never have anything to live for again. "Okay, I'll rethink our relationship. You'd really quit the vlogs for me?" She asked him. "You're my everything Emma. The moment I accidently broke your breaks off your car I messed up, and I never wanna make that mistake ever again. I never wanna lose you, you were the best thing to ever walk in my life, and as soon as you walked out of it I didn't know what to do Emma. I felt like ending everything if we couldn't be together," he said. She wrapped her arms around him, causing him to start crying in her arms. "I love you Chase," she said. And this time, she meant it for all it was worth.
