AUTHOR's NOTE: -

So, where do I even begin.
If you are new to my channel, then hello there, how do you do?
If you are an old reader of my channel, then you probably know that my channel has been pretty much dead, with stories left untouched for a long time. And it's not that I don't want to write, but, a lot has happened in my life, so at this point I am just waiting for the days to pass by.

So you might ask, "Then why post this chapter here and now?"

And to answer that, all I will say is that this thing, this story and idea, just suddenly struck my head, and I just HAD TO write it down.

So I don't know if I will continue this story or not. If you see no update on the story for three years, then feel free to adopt it.

For that reason, this story will not be placed under crossover, and will be under MHA tag for the foreseeable future.

With that being said,

Disclaimer: I don't own any part of My Hero Academia, or Honkai Impact 3rd and they belong to their respective creators. This is just a derivative work, made for entertainment only, and is not made with the intention or goal for any type or form of monetary or financial gain.

And thus, without further delay, let's begin.

CHAPTER 1 - The Goddess On the Moon

IZUKU MIDORIYA, AGE- 3

Ever since Izuku Midoriya became three years old, he started to dream of the Moon.

In his dreams, the Moon was a place filled with wondrous structures with pillars and sanctums that looked old, yet futuristic, a massive, broken, statue of a woman, which glowed purple from the cracks.

And in the middle of the sanctum, was a massive garden, and in the middle of that garden, laid the most beautiful woman he had seen in his admittedly short life.

Her head covered in long white, almost pearlescent hair, that draped over her as if they were her blanket. An old, but well taken cared white and orange jacket laid just beneath her hair and over her body, as if hiding her and providing warmth that was centuries old.

Her face, all but flawless and sharp, but still carrying traces of childishness. And even with her eyes closed, Izuku was sure that she had the most beautiful eyes.

When he first told this to his mother, Inko Midoriya, she first thought the he was making up an imaginary friend, since Izuku did not have a lot of friends his age.

But when this same dream kept on repeating for a few weeks and there seemed no end to it, his mother got worried and took him to the doctors. But all that led to was more questions and a quirk test, to check for early quirk awakening.

But that changed everything for our little Izuku.

IZUKU MIDORIYA, AGE-6

It was a good evening for most people, with the cold winds of early December bringing a chill that warranted people to wear warmer cloths.

But it was not a good evening for our little Izuku, who became six years' old just five months ago.

"STOP IT, KACCHAN!" Izuku shouted, when he saw a little boy being bullied by his once best friend Katsuki Bakugo.

Katsuki's red eyes, filled with fury now focused on Izuku, instead of the kid that he was bullying.

"HUH!? Why would I do that!? DEKU!?" Katsuki shouted back, with small explosions popping in his hands, like firecrackers.

"That's not how a Hero should behave, Kacchan! A Hero shouldn't hurt people!" Izuku tried to futilely argue.

"HUH!? WHO GETS TO DECIDE THAT!? YOU!? YOUR JUST A DEKU!" Katsuki shouted, his explosions growing bigger. "Besides, a Hero's job is to beat the bad guys and win! Have you seen All Might ever loose!?" Izuku stuttered, unable to find answer, yet "But Heroes don't just beat the villains! They also save and rescue people!" Katsuki answered "THOSE WHO CAN'T SAVE THEMSELVES ARE WEAK! Besides, I am going to be the number one hero, and beat all the villains to dust!" Now Katsuki walked right up to Izuku's face and grabbed the front of his t-shirt and lifting Izuku up a bit, with his two friends/lackeys standing behind Izuku, preventing any route of escape. Katsuki brought his face close to Izuku's and snared, "And did you know, that it's the villains that obstruct a Hero's justice? Right now, you are that villain, Deku. And do you know what happens to a villain? THEY GET BEATEN UP!"
And with that, punches, kicks and explosions rained down on poor Izuku. All he could do then was curl up in a fetal position, with tears streaming down his face.

After what seemed like an eternity, they stopped, and with one last kick they turned to walk away from Izuku, whose bruised and battered body laid on the ground. And as they were leaving, Katsuki turned and said, "If you know what's good for you, stay down, just like the quirkless deku you are."

All Izuku could do was lay there and cry, thinking to himself, why? Why was he born without quirk? Was he a bad boy, and this was his punishment?

Izuku stayed in that position for what seemed like hours, before he began to get up, wincing every now and then as pain flared across his body.

By the time Izuku had managed to drag his beaten and bruised body to his apartment's door, it was already eight.

As soon as Izuku opened the door to his apartment his mother rushed to him in worry.

"IZUKU!" Inko cried with tears simmering in her eyes. "Do you have any idea how worried I was!? What time do you think it is!?" and then she spotted the dust on his cloths and bruises on his arm and face. "AND ARE THOSE BRUSIES!?" Inko screamed with worry over her son's health. She knew that as soon as word came out that her son was quirkless, her son lost all his friend, and even the teachers and adults started to ignore him. But she didn't know that it was so bad that he was being beaten. Now the bruises on her son proved otherwise.

But before Inko could enquire further, Izuku bolted to his room, which was filled with All Might posters, figures and many hero merchandises, and locked hi room.
All Inko could do, was be there for her son when he came out.

Inside Izuku's room, all Izuku could do was lay on his bed and stare at the ceiling, hoping, praying, that maybe tomorrow will be different. And before he knew it, the day's exhaustion caught up to him like a freight train, and within a minute, Izuku had drifted to the land of dreams.

What none of them knew, or realized, was that from that day forward, nothing would be the same anymore. And exactly at midnight, when the clock struck twelve, and the day shifted from sixth to seventh December, the world pulsed, and for the briefest of moment, the full moon in the night sky flickered purple.

At the same time Izuku started dreaming the same dream he had for the last three years.
Though Izuku didn't know why, but today the dream felt a little different. There was a hum in the air, an extremely strong but equally comforting power was present in the air and the surroundings, as if the very universe was singing. But all of this did not matter to little Izuku. All he wanted was just one thing. One, singular thing. And just like that, he did what he had done, every single day, for the last three years. He sat down near the woman, and started talking. He talked about how his school was, he talked about how he saw a pro Hero, Death Arm, fight a villain with a metal hand quirk, he talked how even today, he had to sit in lunch alone, he talked about how his neighbour's dog almost peed on his precious red shoes. And finally he talked about how his former best friend turned bully had beaten the snot out of him.

And for a moment, everything got quite. Then finally Izuku proclaimed, with conviction and determination unbefitting of a six-year-old child, "No matter what happens, I WILL become a Hero, who will save people with a smile on the face. I will tell them 'Fear not! Because I am here!'"

No matter how you look at it, it was a childish wish, a wish that would be buried under the cruelty of the world, yet for all of its harshness and cruelty, the world was still beautiful. And thus, the world granted his wish.

The beauty, who had been sleeping for as long as Izuku could see her, began to stir. And then with a lazy yawn, and a quick stretch, she sat up. And then she opened her eyes. And Izuku got captivated by those twin orbs, grey with a hint of purple. And her iris? It was like looking into twin purple stars. Then, with those twin orbs, she started to look around her, as if wondering where she was. And as she looked around, Izuku was awestruck by her, just like he was awestruck when he first saw her. And then, as if she had read Izuku's mind, her eyes snapped toward Izuku, locked eyes with him, and she smiled.

With that Izuku's eyes snapped open, in his bed, and drenched in sweat, and his clock by the bedside table reading 4:23 AM.
