Response to questions or statements:

-NewGuest123: Glad you approve of it!

-Yeah, Omni's really damaged right now and accidentally revealing her deepest and most intimate moments to people that she has only known for just a little bit. She does really need therapy. She's spazzing out like crazy.

-Yea, Omni's going to have words with Omni once she manages to get herself back together.

-TK0421: Yeah, again, only reason why I may see Avatar 3 is to see human tech, weapons, and vehicles.

-Yeah, Omni's really out of it, and it's pretty much the entirety Ben's fault.

-Again, you're going to have to read to find out. But yeah, Omni's not going to be happy when she learns she's been spewing her personal life and deepest moments to them. Even if they're not total strangers at this point, she's still not ready. So, yeah, she's going to be in massive pain, be hurting, and extremely furious once this is over.

-This was just how he was written in the show, as uncaring as to what was happening. Honestly, I understand would probably do the same. I mean, if living batteries that liked to pull pranks that could potentially cause harm and shoot out lighting were buzzing around, I wouldn't want to be involved either. For the aliens part, I assume he just doesn't think so? Again, following the episode here.

-Yea, Omni's going through some tough times. She's hallucinating and tripping balls at the same time while revealing personal details about her life to the Tennyson cast. She's accidentally revealing her deepest and most emotional moments in her past life to relative strangers. Plus, she's randomly singing songs.

-Chronosign: Again, made some of the changes you recommended that I like. Again, thanks.

-Ha, good one.

-Ultima-owner: I don't think they ever said in the show. So, for now, let's just say from the fifties.

-DBZfan45: Yup, she's out of action for a time, so the trio's going to have to handle this without her input.

Chapter 21: Tourist Trap

The three Tennysons' made their way down the ruined and deserted street as they searched for the Nosedeenian. With no one in sight, Ben took the cloth off the Omnitrix as it still pulsed weakly. Though, her singing through the city's civil defense alert system had ceased a few minutes ago after singing Take On Me by A-ha.

"You hear anything from her yet?" Max asked. Keeping his eyes on a look out as he watched for any sign of the alien.

"No..." Ben said as he continued fiddling with her dial. Trying to get a response out of her as they marched onward.

"So, who do you guys think Cadmon is?" Gwen asked out loud.

"I don't know.." The ten year old boy mumbled. "But whoever he is, Omni seemed to be pretty close to him. Wouldn't you say?"

"It's possible. I mean, she looked like she was on the verge of breaking down when she thought Cadmon left her." The redhead agreed. "Or maybe an alien that worked on her when she was built or something?" She offered.

"Maybe, she seemed to be pretty close to one another." Max spoke up.

"Maybe they were lovers or something?" Seeing Gwen and Max looking at him questioningly, he continued. "I mean, she called him 'honey' and she looked desperate to make him not leave?"

"I mean, you got a point?" Gwen admitted reluctantly. "Is that even possible, can AI even date?"

"It could be..." Max shrugged. "Or it could be that she thought she was someone else from a movie or something, she had been watching a lot of those on the internet. It could be she was just hallucinating or something."

"In any case, we'll deal with it later. Right now, we need to catch that thing before it causes any more damage." Max ordered as the trio began focusing on their search.

'"Maybe we could draw it out with batteries or something?" Gwen suggested nervously as she continued to look around for any sign of the creature.

Suddenly, the omnitrix beeped as it glowed bright, drawing their attention once again. The projector once again spun up as a mashup form appeared right besides them. Omni now sported a M40 gas mask, sporting what looked to be combat fatigues with body armor and ALICE webbing while holding a M4A1. Static spots still scattered around on her, primarily on her limbs and torso.

"Heads up, guys!" She called out as she fired her weapon down a nearby alleyway. "We got a hostile!" The AI took cover behind a nearby wall. As soon as she spotted the Tennyson's staring at her weirdly, she raised her weapon system at them threateningly.

"Hey, guys! We got more of them lab coats here. Where's Freeman?! Where'd he go, you pencil necks?!" She demanded.

Playing along, Max raised his hands placatingly as he slowly approached. "Omni, it's us. It's okay, just put the rifle down. It's okay, everything's okay."

"Stand too, devil dog!" Her tone suddenly changed from threatening to friendly as she swirled around. Pointing her rifle every which way before her form stuttered again. Once it became clear, it showed her in the same outfit, but this time her face was uncovered, revealing the same mid-to-twenties woman they saw having a breakdown back at the motel. Now lying down with her back against the wall.

"GAH! I'm hit!" She called out as she lied slump against the wall. With Max kneeling down as he tried to comfort her, despite not being able to touch the AI for obvious reasons.

"Omni, please." He pleaded with her. "I know you're not right in the head now and you may be suffering in ways I can't imagine. But please, we need you right now. We're dealing with a threat and we need your help."

Omni stared at him with her mouth slightly open, gaped like a fish, with her eyes bright and lit up as she stared at Max, ignoring her supposed wound as she stared at him lovingly. Making him shift in place as he looked uncomfortable with the look she was giving him.

"Cadmon..." She mouthed again as she smiled at Max. "I-I knew you'd come for me, I never lost doubt, I knew you'd come for me."

"Omni, I'm sorry, but I'm not Cadmon." Max tried to say apologetically despite still having absolutely zero clue as to what she was talking about

The Omnitrix ignored him as she continued looking at him affectioning. It would have been adorable if not for the fact that it was clear she was not in the right mental state "Cadmon... t-there's something I need to tell y-you." She looked down shyly as she looked to be... blushing? Averting her gaze with Max who now looked really awkward. With even Ben and Gwen looking uncomfortable. All of them having the feeling that even though she was hallucinating, this was probably a very emotional and intimate moment between her and whoever she was imagining she was talking to.

"I-I-I-I t-t-think I l-love-AAGGGHHH!"

Suddenly, she froze up like she was being tased before spazzing out on the floor before turning into static. Hearing Buzzing, they turned to the source as they noticed a Megawatt siphoning electricity from and messing with the Omnitrix with a mischievous look on its face.

"Hey, leave her alone!" Ben demanded as he tried to kick the alien. Only for it to disappear at the last minute and reappeared behind Max and lifted him up in the air much to his dismay.

"AAAGH! That's not funny! It's just painful."

"Don't worry, Grandpa!" Ben reassured as he turned on the watch and cycled through the aliens. "I know just the hero to deal with a troublemaker like this!" He slammed on the dial as he transformed into... the Galvanic Mechamorph

"Uh, why did you choose Upgrade?" Gwen asked with a raised brow.

"I didn't" Ben retorted. "I think it's Omni. She's messing up my transformation now that she's on the fritz!"

The Nosedeenian then dropped Max, prompting Ben to catch him as he set him gently on the ground. With the Megawatt shimmering and wreaking havoc on the nearby exhibit as it stood on the worlds largest chicken with a cackle.

"Alright, twinkle toes, time to go home!" Ben declared as he fired a laser from his face at the xeno. Having learned he could do that from Omni when he was practicing with the alien form a couple of days ago. With the Megawatt scurrying about as he dodged the laser as it tore through several buildings and exhibits. Sending pieces of debris flying everywhere as Gwen and Max took cover behind a nearby hot dog stand.

"Hey, Doofus, whose side are you on?!" Gwen complained.

"Man, what will it take to ground this electric devil" Max wondered as Gwen suddenly got an idea.

"That's it! Grandpa, you're a genius!" The ten-year old girl shouted as she ran off to put her plan in action.

"Oh, uh, thank you, Gwen. Wait why?" He asked as he got up and ran to follower her.

After several minutes of fighting, Ben closed in on the alien, he tried to grab it before being shocked and thrown onto the ground. "Ugghhh, ok, don't touch the electric guy when you're made out of literally living metal." Ben nodded as he rubbed his throbbing head.

The Omnitrix then suddenly turned him back into human. Much to his dismay as he began tampering with the watch.

"Omni, come on! That wasn't ten minutes!" He begged as he touched the Omnitrix. As her voice once again came through on the city's loudspeakers.

Step one, you say, "We need to talk"

He walks, you say, "Sit down, it's just a talk"

He smiles politely back at you

You stare politely right on through

Some sort of window to your right

As he goes left and you stay right

Between the lines of fear and blame

You begin to wonder why you came"

"Omni!" Ben yelled in exasperation. "This is fighting time! Not singing time!" He complained as the Megawatt closed in on him all while laughing manically.

Then a truck pulled up beside Ben, with Max opening the door as he demanded Ben hop in. Which he did immediately without missing a beat

"What are we doing?" He asked.

"Giving this thing a science lesson it won't forget." Was all he said as he floored it. With Ben noticing that they were carrying the world's largest thermostat in the back as the Megawatt chased them.

"Hey, Mega-weird! Come get us!" Gwen shouted as she shifted a gear from the front passenger seat. The thermostat was then released into the groud as it landed vertically as the Megawatt, not having enough time to stop, crashed into it as the rod glowed with yellow electricity as the alien trickster vanished.

"What just happened?" Ben asked.

"We just used the biggest thermometer in the world as a lighting rod." Gwen retorted smugly. "Who needs an alien superhero when you got good ol' fashioned brainpower."

"Of course, the ground is basically just one big conductor." Mayor Earl deadpanned as he appeared once again from out of nowhere.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Oh no," Gwen said in growing concern. "It means that the Megawatts are just zipping around underground until they find a way back to the surface."

As if on cue, various telephones began ringing down the street. Making Gwen and Ben look at each other nervously.

"They're multiplying underground..." Max said with worry.

At that moment, the multiplying Megawatts shot up from underground. Lighting up the sky and area with yellow lightening as they all cackled madly as the Tennysons' watched in horror.

It didn't help Gwen's mood as the song Omni was singing on the loudspeakers continued.

"Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated?

I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else

Gets me frustrated

Life's like this, you

And you fall, and you crawl, and you break

And you take what you get, and you turn it into

Honesty and promise me I'm never gonna find you faking

No, no, no"
