Arc 3: Mission 18: Schneenis Part 1

The Next Morning…

"Zzz… Zzz…" Suskian snored as he laid in bed, uncovered to have his bare body out on display. The wives of Suskian were asleep as well and surrounding him without being covered by any blankets. But, they did have a few uninvited guests standing at the foot of the bed: 3 women dressed like a mafia boss, a Maiden, and what looked like a business woman.

"So, this is the Commander that supposedly came from another world? Didn't think he would be fucking a few Nikke… Seems he takes good care of them, like you thought, Sakura," the mafia boss woman said as she moved her black and white hair to the side.

"You can say that again… Though, they should cover up. They could catch a cold like that," the Maiden looking one said as she had a traditional fan open in front of her mouth.

"…Though, he is huge. I thought he would be a scrawny guy. But, those muscles are a different story," the last one said as she raised an eyebrow. The first to wake up was Silver Wolf as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes and glanced to see the 3 women look at them. Silver Wolf blushed as she covered herself.

"Umm… I was not expecting us to have any guests over," Silver Wolf said as she picks the blanket off of the floor and covered the others with it while getting some underwear to put on.

"Don't worry about it. We got plenty a view of your Commander…" The mafia boss woman said with a smirk on her face, "He's packing a lot of heat."

"Oh, no… He's… Our husband," Silver Wolf said and the 3 looked confused at her, "It's a… Long story." Rapi was the next to wake up and rubbed her head while holding the blanket over her body to cover herself. She then took notice of the 3 women and glanced over at Silver Wolf getting dressed in a white t-shirt that hovered above her knees.

"…Underworld Queen. I assume you're here for some reason?" Rapi asked in a stoic tone as she got out of bed and slips a shirt over her body, letting it hang above her lower thighs and some black panties underneath the t-shirt, "Who exactly let you in?"

"Furina," The mafia boss woman said and Rapi sighed.

"I forget Furina is Tetra as well… Ah, okay. What is your business with us, exactly?" Rapi asked as she folded her arms.

"Right to business, I like it…" The mafia boss woman smirked as she folded her arms, "News of your efforts have passed all around the Ark, and we're interested in a little… Business deal. We are aware of how strong your… Husband is, but we have heard that we will be getting some visitors from Furina and we can provide some protection for the ones that won't fight…"

"…I see. There might be some who are not soldiers like us… But, I assure you its not up to me. Suskian is the one who would be willing to answer that question for you," Rapi said as she glanced at Suskian before looking back at them, "He should be up any second now…"

"Ugh… Note to self, take melatonin when having a particularly long night…" Suskian muttered as he sat up and cracked his neck and stared at the women as they stared at him, "Hello. Ummm… How did you get in here?"

"Furina," Rapi said and Suskian blinked a few times before realizing he is naked under the covers.

"Could you ladies.. Give us a few minutes to get dressed…?" Suskian asked them, rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh, we saw everything. You're packing," the Maiden said with a smile. Suskian sputtered at that and blushed heavily. Yuni and Melina awoke simultaneously and looked a bit dazed and stared at the women. Yuni quickly broke her daze and blushed heavily.

"Underworld Queen?! What the hell are those from the Outer Rim doing here?!" Yuni said in shock as she covered herself with the blanket, "Ah… This is mega awkward…"

"…3 maidens, staring at us with such… Lust. Apologies, but can we have a little privacy to prepare for the day?" Melina asked in a daze. Said Finger Maiden yawned and got out of her daze.

"Fair. We will wait outside. Moran, Sakura… We are heading outside," the mafia boss woman said as she headed out of the room. Both women headed out as well and Suskian blushed as he got out of bed with Yuni following behind him. As the Saiyan and his wives got dressed, they wondered why Underworld Queen was visiting them.

"…I wonder what is going on?" Rapi asked as she looked at Suskian.

Minutes Later, Main Room…

The group of 5 came into the room, looking at Underworld Queen and their comrades in confusion. Furina stood up and greets Suskian with a bow.

"Sorry we didn't contact you earlier, Furina. Was a bit busy last night…" Suskian told her, "So, what is a squad from the Outer Rim doing here?"

"Well, my boss Willow has some things to request from you and the Commander, Suskian. It's… Rather important," Furina said as she looked at him calmly. He raised an eyebrow and Furina hands him a tablet.

"Willow? As in Willow Schnee, who is the leader of the Workbus Squad?" Rapi asked in confusion as she folded her arms, "I thought you worked directly under Mustang."

"I do and I don't… I do work directly under Mustang, but I don't at the same time. In Reality, I'm indebted to the Schnee family and my true boss is Willow. I owe her a lot for keeping me out of the streets of the Outer Rim," Furina told Rapi, "If she needed ANYTHING, I would do anything at the drop of a hat for her."

"Loyal to a fault. I like it. So, what exactly does she need with me and Ryu?" Suskian asked as he looked at the tablet and switched it on. Suddenly, a holoscreen pops out of the tablet and the face of a mature white haired woman with long braided white hair appeared on screen.

"Ah, I see you have come into contact with my young friend. You must be one of the 2 Commanders making a name for themselves. I am Willow Schnee, matriarch of the Schnee family and leader of Workbus. I am also the leader of the Schnee Weapons Industries in the Ark. I am a pretty important person here in the Ark. I wish to met you and your comrade Commander soon… Will that be okay?" The woman told him and Suskian glanced at Melina before nodding his head.

"Yes. I hope this meeting would be… Friendly in nature. We have been dealing with a lot for the past few days…" Suskian said earnestly.

"I have heard there are larger things at play here and you and your Commando Units have been dealing with it first and foremost. Do not worry, I will be as respectful to you as you are to me. Meet me on Royal Road in 1 hour. Furina will lead you to my location," Willow said with a smile. Suskian looked at the others and they nodded their heads.

"We'll be there," Suskian said.

"Good. See you then," Willow told him and hung up. Suskian hands Furina back the tablet and looks over at Silver Wolf, who was chewing on some bubble gum while tapping away at a holoscreen and swiping at the same time.

"What you up to?" Suskian asked her and she glanced at him with a smirk as she blew a pink bubble and it pops as she is about to answer.

"Well, considering the looming threats we have to face, I'm gonna have to make a Gravity Chamber," Silver Wolf said as she glanced at him, "But, I forgot to bring the tools that I needed."

"I have a suggestion," Suskian said to her and she looked at him while still typing away at her holoscreen, "We have a simulation room in the Ark. You could upload some of our training simulations there."

"Instructor Ingrid would be interested in that," Rapi said, "In fact, I can go with you to talk with her."

"Bet. I might have to convince her," Silver Wolf said with a smile, "Sorry, Ryu. I'm gonna borrow Rapi for a bit today."

"Oh, Rapi. I also got you this," Melina said as she hands her a black wooden staff with a baby blue crystal sitting on top of it, "This is a Glintstone Staff. Remember yesterday, when Frieren said you would have an affinity with magic? Well, you would need a conduit to conjure the magic for now… And, these make the perfect conduit for it." Rapi took the staff and looked at it for a bit before the staff's crystal began glowing violet purple and a small bright purple orb hovered in midair around her.

"Oh… That's rare," Suskian said with a smirk.

"What is going on?" Rapi asked with question marks appearing above her head.

"You subconsciously activated a spell, albeit one that is a passive," Melina said in surprise as she stared at the purple orb, "What's even more impressive is that the orb changed color."

"This is the Starlight spell, right? The one that acts as a light in dark tunnels?" Suskian asked Melina and she nods her head.

"It has also been repurposed to a buffing spell for sorceries," Melina said as she looked at Rapi and the floating orb, "It depends on how bright the orb is by how potent the user's magic is. Here, allow me." Melina held up her left hand and a golden bright orb hovered above her hand. It was the same luminescence as Rapi's own orb, which shocked Melina and Suskian.

"Melina… It's the same brightness," Suskian said and Melina nods her head in shock.

"What does that mean…?" Anis spoke up.

"I am using about maybe… 25% of my overall magic pool to make my orb glow this bright. Rapi is 1/4ths my magic pool, which is MASSIVE compared to normal Tarnished and other magic users. Frieren, Suskian, and another are the only ones who outmatch me by a large margin."

"That… Honestly doesn't help us compare," Ryu said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"...I'll elaborate. A normal Tarnished's magic pool is big, but it's not exactly stellar. Their magic pool pushes to the point of… Let's say about the size of a football field," Ruka said as she folded her arms.

"What's football?" Neon asked. Ruka flinched and sighed.

"Okay, then half the size of the Simulation Room," Suskian replied, which got most of the Nikke in the room balking in shock, "And, you know how big that room is. Now, compare that to Melina and myself, who are close to maybe 4 Arks worth of magic power."

"You're kidding," Chris said softly as she stared at him.

"Wish I was," Suskian said, "And, Rapi is somehow emitting close to 1/4ths of Melina's base magic pool. Which in comparison… Is one Ark."

"…" Everyone was silently processing this information, especially Rapi, who stared at the orb surrounding her.

"If I had to put a number on her magic pool, it'd be about… Close to 30. As for name, Intelligence… Which scales best with Sorceries and Glintstone Magic," Melina told them as she glanced at Rapi and rubs her chin, "That means you have access to mid tier sorceress right off the bat, like the base Glintstone spells as well as Ice and Magma spells."

"Magma?! Like, ACTUAL Magma?!" Anis balked in shock. Rapi stared at her hands and blinked a few times, shocked at what she just learned about herself.

"We'll put a pin on this," Suskian said, "Silver Wolf, you and Rapi head off to your destination."

"We'll see you later today, Suskian," Silver Wolf smiled as she took Rapi by the left hand and left out the room.

Later; Elysion Headquarters; C.E.O.'s Office

"Here is the results for the latest scans for Project Black, Miss Ingrid," a white haired girl styled in a side braid said as she hands Ingrid a pink folder. She takes the folder and looks inside to see a bunch of lab results and hummed to herself, impressed with the positive results.

"Good. They will be ready to deploy soon…" Ingrid said and there was a knock on the door, "Come in." The door opened and in comes Silver Wolf and Rapi.

"Good Morning, Instructor," Rapi said earnestly as she salutes her.

"Ah, Rapi. Just the Nikke I was looking for. I wish to discuss some busi… What is with the weird orb of light hovering around you?" Ingrid said as she stood up and stared at the purple orb circling slowly around Rapi's head.

"…Oh, umm… It's complicated," Rapi said as she blushed slightly.

"…Well, does it have to do with this young lady with you?" Ingrid asked as she looked at Silver Wolf.

"Just call me Silver Wolf. Or Silver for short," Silver Wolf said with a smirk, "I have a proposal for you."

"…What are you offering?" Ingrid asked her.

"Well, as a Time Patroller… I help keep the flow of time steady with whatever I can help with. That includes training the others. I am told you have to keep your Nikkes in tip top shape, so you have them undergo battle simulations," Silver Wolf said as she waves her left hand to the side, "I am also in 2nd in command for battle simulations in the Time Patrol as well as any technology based issues that come up. I propose that I can update your battle simulations to match the incoming Tarnished and Time Patrollers that will come to inhabit the Ark."

"…I see. Well, I can't make that choice alone," Ingrid said seriously and Silver Wolf nods her head at that, "Ennik would need to be in on this decision. Her sister is head of the Simulation Room. Anything involving that would need her exclusive permission."

"No problem. We're free for today, so we can wait," Silver Wolf said with a smile.

"In that case, I do need to speak with Rapi for a bit in private. Weiss, can you escort miss Silver Wolf outside for a bit? I'll call you back in when we are finished," Ingrid said as she looked at Rapi.

"Yes, ma'am. Miss, this way please…" Weiss said earnestly as she led Silver Wolf out the door and closed it behind her. Rapi sat down in a chair in front of Ingrid's desk and Ingrid leaned forward.

"Rapi… How long have you been sexually active?" Ingrid asked as she looked at her seriously. Rapi blushed and clears her throat.

"…When we went on that mission in the snowy region," Rapi said as she looked at her, "I had sex with Suskian." Ingrid blinked in shock at this.

"Hmm, I see… And, have you used Red Hood at all?" Ingrid asked her and Rapi nods her head seriously, "Who saw it?"

"Suskian and Melina. The others were too far away to see it… Wait, I think Yuni seen, as well…" Rapi said as she shook her head. Ingrid rubbed her hands together and thought about her next words.

"Instructor, is there something wrong with what I did?" Rapi asked her as she looked at Ingrid.

"No, not inherently… I'm just worried about you frying all your systems and brain from overuse of Red Hood, that's all. And, learning you are also sexually active is a shocker… But, it may have to do with Red Hood as well," Ingrid said as she rubbed her chin, "Ever since you came to know Suskian, you have become bolder… And, more… Unfocused. But, I can tell you are slowly coming out of your shell. So, I won't admonish you for that. I just… Worry for you, that's all." Rapi blushed as she nods her head again.

"Though… Would I have to worry about Yuni telling anyone?"

"No," Rapi said as she looked at Ingrid, "We can trust her." Ingrid nods her head while looking at Rapi with a smirk.

"Good. You haven't left me astray, Rapi. I need you to run some simulations to check your battle condition. And, I'm curious about this orb," Ingrid said as she points to the orb.

"…I need you to not dissuade or laugh when I tell you," Rapi said as she pulls out her Glintstone Staff, "It's… Magic. Apparently, I'm quite adept at it, from what Suskian's master told me while I was in Limgrave. Melina gave me this and this orb appeared after that. It's a sign of how large of a magic pool I have. It's about 1/4ths of Melina's base magic pool, which to her… Is about 4 Arks worth of electricity." Ingrid sat in silence as she stared at Rapi.

"You're… Not lying about that, are you? You have power that is as much as the Ark itself?" Ingrid asked in shock and Rapi nods her head.

"It's unrefined, but that's the gist of it. I guess that's what Silver Wolf wants to do with the battle simulations update to the Simulation Room. Maybe she made a way to give us a fighting chance against the looming threat…" Rapi said as she laid the staff in her lap, "I will also be taking specialized training with it from Suskian and his master when she comes to the Ark."

"…Are other Nikke capable of learning magic? Or is it because of Red Hood that you are capable of learning magic?" Ingrid asked and Rapi hummed to herself, "Because if it is the first, we can do a mass training simulation for those who are capable of learning magic."

"You're… Taking this rather well," Rapi blushed as she looked at Ingrid.

"If anything, I'm well aware of sticking to reality. And, the reality is magic exists… And, it's strong enough to combat Raptures better than most weaponry we have for Nikkes. That's to say we won't get rid of any Nikke Weaponry or Nikkes themselves. If anything, we are adjusting to the help we are receiving. I sincerely hope your case isn't extremely rare and more Nikke can learn magic," Ingrid said as she folded her arms and looked at Rapi, "Rapi… Do you remember when we first met after you came back from the surface? How lost you looked…?"

"Yes… I do," Rapi said as she nods her head.

"…I don't see that in you right now. You're looking more to learn anything… And, you're looking more… Happier. That Suskian and his wife had a good impact on your life," Ingrid told her and Rapi blushed harder as she looked away, a small smile appearing on her face, "It… Makes me happy, seeing you come out of your shell."

"Thank you… Instructor," Rapi said as she looked back up at Ingrid.

"You may go. Tell Silver Wolf to head to the Simulation Room… I'll contact Ennik and tell her to meet you 2 there," Ingrid told Rapi and she nods her head while standing up and bowing to Ingrid, "And, Rapi?" Rapi looked at Ingrid fully.

"…Stay safe. Anything happens, you contact me immediately."

"…Yes, Instructor Ingrid," Rapi said and walked out after saluting her.

"…You made me proud, Rapi… More than you can even think," Ingrid said softly as she looked at the pink folder on her desk, "I just hope things go well in the future for humanity…"

Simulation Room; 30 Minutes Later…

Rapi and Silver Wolf sat in a few chairs that were set up in a large office like area with a bunch of holoscreens set up around the room. Silver Wolf was blowing a new bubble from her bubble gum, admiring the technology as Rapi stared at the Glintstone Staff in her hands, twirling it in her hands. The sound of some automatic doors opening was heard and Rapi and Silver Wolf turned their attention to the sound. In walks Ingrid, Andersen, and Syuen as they are looking quite serious.

"…Why is Syuen here?" Rapi asked as she glanced at Syuen.

"Is that a problem, rust bucket?" Syuen asked with a smirk.

"I can already tell you're a brat," Silver Wolf said as she stood up from her chair and stretched her body out, "Are we good to go?"

"Yes. Ennik cleared you for maintenance on the Simulation Room… As long as Syuen monitors your progress and gives feedback," Ingrid said and said the last part through gritted teeth.

"…That shouldn't be a problem. I'm doing like… 95% of the work anyway. I'll only need like half a day to work on the system update and Rapi will test the finished update," Silver Wolf said as she slips on a pair of black lenses visor and brought out a large black holoscreen, typing away, "Syuen, was it? Stand over there."

"You better know what you're doing, kid," Syuen said as she walked over to a console and checked the screens.

"I'm 22 years old. I'm not a kid," Silver Wolf said as she typed away at the holoscreen while chewing her gum, "I've been meddling with tech for about 80% of my lifespan, so I'm pretty sure I got this. Just be ready to read some equations when I bring them up on that screen." Syuen rolls her eyes and scoffed.

"Whatever," Syuen said as Silver Wolf went to work.

"…Rapi, where is Suskian and the rest of the Commando Units?" Ingrid asked Rapi.

"Outer Rim. They are meeting with Willow Schnee," Rapi said as Silver Wolf hummed to herself while typing away. Andersen perked up at that.

"Why would they be going to the Outer Rim?" Andersen asked.

"I… Believe they are getting a deal with Willow over having some Time Patrollers who are unable to fight to have extra protection from Workbus and Underworld Queen," Rapi said.

"Establishing connections all over the Ark… I see. Understood. Wish both Commanders would have cleared that with us, but Willow is someone who can be fully trusted. Her husband, however…" Ingrid said as she shook her head. Rapi raised an eyebrow at this.

"Never mind."

"First equation is coming up, Syuen. Check it and clear it with me," Silver Wolf said as she swiped her holoscreen to the console and a simple equation came up onscreen of the console. Syuen read it over and hums to herself while rubbing her chin. She solves it and glanced at Silver Wolf with a smirk.

"I see… You're good for your age," Syuen smirked.

"Naturally," Silver Wolf said as she types on the console and transferred it back to her holoscreen quickly.

"Good. First of 7 steps complete. We're gonna be here for a few hours, so hope you aren't busy with anything today…"

"Tch. You better do a good job," Syuen told Silver Wolf and Ingrid takes a seat and Rapi sits next to her.

"Wish I can stay, but I have a meeting to get to. Update me on any changes," Andersen told Ingrid and she nods her head. With that, Andersen leaves out.
