First off…welcome to 2025! And belated happy Valentine's day!

My apologies for the late update. In what was supposed to be a monthly update turned into a three-month hiatus as I got entangled in office work whilst having some situations with my personal life, hence I got delayed in working on my fanfics given that I am juggling in working of 20 fanfics of different series.

But now things have stabilized and here is the new chapter.

With that out of the way…many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I am really happy and this inspired me to bring in the next chapter, and here the story advances further as the current scene splits into two separate situations, in which someone having a battle suit similar to the one that Midoriya is wearing is being confronted by Team Idaten where the sidekicks mistook him for a villain and an ILLEGAL vigilante;

And then Izuku Midoriya is about to face danger after narrowly defeating the Paradisers and leaving the leader alive, and there Midoriya is facing a situation as he has no actual experience in dealing with dangerous villains and that the battle suit he unwittingly wore serves as a means of protection.

Meanwhile…

The scene shifts at the undisclosed location where the members of Team Itaden are surrounding the mysterious crime fighter identified only as Gant, and there the Team Idaten members are eager to go into action as they believe that they found themselves a GOOD CATCH as they deem Gant a villain and told him he is about to pay via dues to the whole of society.

However Gant spoke and explained to them what he actually did, which Enigma, Onemu Shinya and Bigshot were taken aback and the trio huddled and began discussing, where they pondered on giving Gant a chance to explain himself and find out if he is the INFORMANT that Ingenium mentioned earlier and the three main sidekicks are now thinking of calling Ingenium and get confirmation.

"Think we should call Ingenium…?"

"Yeah, we should…"

"Me too…if that guy is telling the truth…"

"My thoughts exactly…then we should call Ingenium right away."

"I'll see if I could stall that guy and calm him down…"

"Me too…"

"Okay, it's decided and…"

"Huh?"

"What?"

However, the rest of the Team Idaten members were becoming impatient and eager, and there they drew out their support weapons and one of them said that they better get to work and subdue this suspected villain and haul him to jail so that Ingenium would be pleased, which the rest of the Team Idaten members nodded in agreement as they also drew their support weapons, poised to launch an attack.

"Okay, guys! We got ourselves a villain to catch! Let's take him down and drag him to jail!"

"Yeah!"

In response, Gant began to assume a fighting stance as he realized that he is about to be targeted, as he maintain his defensive stance, his black-colored cloak flapped behind him as the rest of Team Idaten members are getting ready to lunge at him, feeling that they may have found a catch that they could show to Ingenium and prove that they are very capable sidekicks.

"Alright, guys…we got ourselves a catch. Let's take him down and show to Ingenium why we're his best capable sidekicks…we beat this guy down and show it to Ingenium. Let's do this!"

"Yeah!"

Enigma, Onemu Shinya and Bigshot saw this and noticed that Gant only assumed a defensive stance and has not launched an attack, and there the trio sensed that something is amiss and they told their fellow sidekicks to stop and wait for Ingenium to give the order, but the rest of the sidekicks reiterated that Gant is a suspected villain and may be connected to the Creature Rejection Clan.

There one of the sidekicks said that until Ingenium gives a new order, they are going to take Gant down regardless of the circumstances, which the others roared in agreement.

"Whatever the circumstances…we're taking the villain down! It's our duties as sidekicks and future pro heroes! Are you guys with me?"

"Yeah!"

Gant braces himself as the rest of the Team Idaten members are getting ready to lunge towards him despite Enigma, Onemu Shinya and Bigshot urging their fellow sidekicks to stop and wait, and there one of the sidekicks made the move and fired a support weapon blast, and Gant instinctively dodge it, and there the rest of the sidekicks began to charge and there two of the sidekicks attempted to jump on their target but he flipped them aside and they landed COMICALLY on the ground yet the other sidekicks were taken aback as Gant showed a very graceful defensive move.

Once again Gant began to assume a fighting stance before making an impromptu statement which the rest of the Team Idaten members brace themselves for an apparent retaliatory attack.

"Riser…Gant! Suisan!"

The Team Idaten members stood still as they were dumbfounded at what Gant just said, as they felt that what he just said didn't made any sense to them.

"Huh…?"

"Eh…?"

"What…?"

"Riser…what…?"

"Gant…?"

"Suisan…?"

"What the heck…?"

"Is that a trick…?"

Ch. 4: Yokisenudekigoto part 4

The atmosphere became silent and tense as the sidekicks of Team Idaten are baffled at what Gant just said, yet they quickly recovered their composures and one of them urged the others not to fall for such cheap tricks and said that as sidekicks of the pro hero Ingenium they must show ZERO TOLERANCE towards villains and ILLEGALS, which the rest of the sidekicks roared in agreement.

"Guys! Come on! That villain is making a mockery of us! We're the sidekicks of Ingenium! The proud members of Team Idaten! Let's do this! ZERO TOLERANCE on freaks like him! Let's go!"

"Yeah!"

However, Ingenium arrived and shouted at the sidekicks, displeased with what he just saw and there he ordered them to stand down which the rest immediately followed but a select few appeared to be defiant as they tried to explain themselves and tried using cheap alibis to justify their actions in an effort to appease the pro hero into not suspecting anything.

However, Ingenium told the disobeying sidekicks that he overheard everything and there he asked Enigma, Onemu Shinya and Bigshot what transpired and the three main sidekicks told Ingenium what really happened, and there Ingenium sternly reprimanded the sidekicks for their reckless actions and for RED-TAGGING someone without concrete proof, saying that he never approve the so-called ZERO TOLERANCE.

The erring sidekicks tried to lie their way out but Ingenium wouldn't have any of it, and in desperation the erring sidekicks demanded to know why a pro hero is defending an ILLEGAL vigilante, and there they claim that he is suspected of being behind the abduction and murder of several victims, but Ingenium pointed out that Gant is his secret INFORMANT and there the pro hero revealed that he was the one who instructed Gant to stall and stop the Creature Rejection Clan and save the kidnapped victims.

The erring sidekicks were stunned and in disbelief and there they foolishly tried to discredit Gant even though it was in vain because of the testimonies of the three main sidekicks.

"No way!"

"That armored guy with the cape is a fraud!"

"A liar!"

"He's a sham!"

"A villain!"

"He must be taken down!"

"You're being fooled by a fake INFORMANT!"

"That's right!"

Ingenium shook his head and reiterated that Gant is his informant and even said that Gant would personally answer to him. The erring sidekicks were stunned into disbelief and refused to accept this and began accusing Ingenium of PLAYING FAVORITES by choosing a FAKE SIDEKICK over the LEGITIMATE ones, but Enigma, Onemu Shinya and Bigshot told the erring sidekicks that they are the ones at fault because of their actions and for acting in a non-heroic way by unjustly accusing Gant and for instigating a fight.

There Ingenium told the erring sidekicks that they are terminated from Team Idaten and the erring sidekicks were pissed and refused to admit their faults and shortcomings and began badmouthing Ingenium before grudgingly leaving the scene, which only a handful of the remaining sidekicks of Team Idaten remained and there the honest ones assured to Ingenium that they won't follow the bad one's examples, which the pro hero nodded in approval.

"So then…can I count on you?"

"Yes sir!"

"Then help me keep the agency alive and full of honesty."

"Yes sir!"

After that Ingenium glanced at Gant and gave a nod, in which the latter nodded and quietly took his leave, and there the remaining Team Idaten sidekicks approached Ingenium and asked who Gant is and why the pro hero defended him, and there Ingenium told his sidekicks that he will explain everything once they hear back to the hero agency office and 8he would reveal what he knows, and the remaining sidekicks nodded in acknowledgement.

"We must first continue our patrol. Once we get back to the office there I'll tell you everything."

"Yes sir!"

Meanwhile, the scene shifts back at the scene of the incident where the leader of the Paradisers, Hammerhead, stared wide-eyed at seeing one of his henchmen getting knocked out by Izuku Midoriya who is garbed in a red suit of armor and a red cloak, yet Hammerhead wasn't daunted and refused to believe that Midoriya made the first shot and stubbornly felt that it was just a lucky hit and told the armored Midoriya that he is just lucky but he won't get another lucky streak.

"Not bad, kid! Not bad!"

"…"

"You just got lucky…but it won't do you any good!"

"What…?"

"Either way…you're going to die!"

"You think you can get away with this…? Dream on."

"What…?"

"Though I'm Quirkless and just an ordinary boy…I'm not letting you murder innocent lives…so I'll stop you right here and now!"

Hammerhead is getting pissed yet he is determined to uphold the Paradisers' reputation and not risk getting their reputation being tarnished and decided to show everyone why the Paradisers are a force to be reckoned with, and there he ordered his men to use whatever means necessary to kill Midoriya, which the Paradisers nodded in acknowledgement.

"Yes, boss!"

The Paradisers charge towards the armored Midoriya and he realized that he needed to find an opening and take them down one at a time, and as one of the Paradisers got close, Midoriya instinctively made a move and tripped the Paradiser, and as that Paradiser fell down, Midoriya goaded the others to follow, and as they did so, Midoriya moved out of the way and the rest of the Paradisers ended up tripping over one of their fellow Paradiser and they fell to the ground.

Hammerhead twitched his eyes in annoyance at seeing his henchmen being clumsy and felt that their reputation as DANGEROUS MERCENARIES is about to be tarnished and there he berated his henchmen to stop being clumsy and do something about Midoriya as he is making a fool out of them.

"You idiots! That kid's making a fool out of you lot! Get up and kill him! He's all alone and he won't stand against you! Use the battle suits you're wearing! And the weapons!"

"Yes, boss!"

Hammerhead reminded them why he chose them as his BEST HENCHMEN and why he gave them the power suits, which he urged them to make use of it to show everyone why they are to be feared and not let someone like Midoriya make a fool out of them, which the henchmen nodded in acknowledgement as they realized that they can't let a kid like Midoriya make them look like idiots.

"Yes, boss!"

Realizing that Hammerhead is right and that he has to prove that the Paradisers are a force to be reckoned with, one of the Paradisers got up and brought out a grenade and pull out the safety pin and is ready to throw it towards Midoriya, but Midoriya realized that even if he managed to avoid the grenade he feared that the explosion and shrapnel might struck innocent passerby and there he saw a fallen trash can near him, where Midoriya thought fast and used the battle suit's power to kick the can which then struck the Paradiser, and in turn the Paradiser was knocked backwards and accidentally fell on top of his fellow Paradisers, and dropped the grenade and fell beneath the bodies of his fellow Paradisers, and the rest of the remaining Paradisers stare wide-eyed in horror – for a reason.

"The grenade!"

"Its going to blow!"

"I'm out of here!"

"Let me through!"

"Get off me!"

"Out of my way!"

"Let go!"

"Help!"

Although their battle suits protect them from most forms of injuries, they do not have helmets, thus their heads are vulnerable and one fatal strike on their exposed heads are enough to kill them, and there the grenade exploded, and the Paradisers where hurled upward before hitting the ground, and you can see that the Paradisers are all dead as their exposed heads suffered fatal injuries due to the shrapnel, shards and explosive impact from the grenade explosion.

Majority of the now-dead Paradisers have their heads blown off, their brain tissues and skulls exposed, scattered all over the area, and the ground is filled with a pool of blood.

Hammerhead stared wide-eyed in shock and disbelief that his fellow Paradisers are laid down dead, and the armored Midoriya stood there facing the remaining Paradiser, his red armor intact with no signs of damage whilst his cloak flapping behind him, and there Midoriya glanced at the window of a shop and saw his reflection.

He noted that his helmet vaguely resembled that of a phoenix where he recall reading a children's book about a story of how a PHOENIX RISEN FROM THE ASHES, and that the author of the said book has the name of Glenn, and there a livid Hammerhead demanded to Midoriya to tell him who he is and why he would dare oppose the Paradisers, and due to the shock and bewilderment of what happened around him, he unknowingly and unintentionally did a fighting pose that are commonly seen on live action serials, which Hammerhead twitched his eyes in annoyance.

"Huh? What are you…?"

"I'll stop you…no matter what!"

"Don't get too cocky. You were just lucky my men got killed due to their carelessness…"

"Still I'm going to stop you!"

"Hah. You think you could with such a cheap suit you're wearing…"

"I may not be a pro hero…but I'll stop you! In the name of…Riser…Glen! Kenzan!"

"Huh…?"

"…"

Midoriya was overwhelmed by the situation that he seemingly got lost in the moment and did a fighting pose and tells the remaining Paradiser that he calls himself Riser Glen, and Hammerhead twitched his eyes as he believe that Midoriya is making fun and looking down on him just because the younger boy narrowly defeated the Paradisers by sheer luck and there he decided to get serious and kill Midoriya, and once that is accomplished he would recruit new members to reform the Paradisers.

"Okay, kid. No more games."

"…"

"I'm going to waste you for real!"

"…"

"Not only I'm going to wreck that cheap suit you're wearing…I'm going to make a good bloody pudding on your corpse!"

"…"

"So say your prayers, you brat!"

"…"

While Midoriya maintained his fighting pose, he blinked his eyes as he realized what he just did, and felt that he got carried away by watching too many Tokusatsu superhero shows, and he even wondered why he suddenly calls himself Riser Glen.

"Huh…? Why did I say that…? Does it make me look lame…?"

However, Hammerhead took advantage of the distraction and began using the power suit's power and began using brute strength to punch the armored Midoriya but the latter somewhat reacted through sheer luck and uses his armored hand to catch Hammerhead's fist, and stopped him in his tracks, surprising the remaining Paradiser as he could feel the impact of Midoriya stopping his POWER PUNCH.

Hammerhead attempted to punch his target again but Midoriya uses his left hand to catch the other punch and Hammerhead was seething in disbelief as he refused to accept that Midoriya's battle suit is stronger than the power suit that the Paradiser is wearing and there he made a sneak attack by kicking the armored Midoriya on his gut, but all he managed was having his target staggering a few steps backwards before stopping.

Hammerhead stared wide-eyed in surprise as Midoriya's battle suit showed no signs of damage after the kick he delivered, and that Midoriya appeared to be relatively unscathed as he stood still and straight while his red cape flapped sideways, and there Hammerhead was seething as he felt that his reputation is being jeopardized and seeing the corpses of his fellow Paradisers, Hammerhead realized that he has no other choice but to fall back and reorganize as he now needed new henchmen to recruit and to find a way to get funds to upgrade the power suit he is wearing.

And there Hammerhead began to use verbal distraction as he planned to make an escape and get away from Midoriya to avoid getting captured.

"So then…"

"…"

"Who do you call yourself…? Glen? What kind of shitty name is that? It doesn't fit for a pro hero…"

"I'm not…just an innocent boy you tried to kill for no justifiable reason…"

"But I do…I will kill anyone who dare get in the way of my NOBLE CAUSE…"

"By committing frustrated murder?"

"Yeah…it's justifiable…and you'll be the first to experience it!"

"!"

Hammerhead's plan worked as Midoriya – currently as Glen – was distracted by Hammerhead's verbal tactics as he sneakily took out a grenade and pull out the safety pin and threw it towards his target, and Midoriya stared wide-eyed as the grenade hits him squarely and then exploded, whilst Hammerhead made his escape as he began hijacking a passing SUV where he grabbed the driver, crushed his neck which killed him then commandeered the SUV and fled from the scene.

As the smoke cleared the scene shows that Midoriya – as Riser Glen – stood still as he is relatively unscathed and unharmed. His red armor and red cape were also undamaged and there he sighed in relief that he is okay and that there were no casualties other than the two cops that were killed earlier in the hands of the Paradisers.

As Glen survey the area, several vloggers and passerby who managed to keep a safe distance while witnessing the scene minutes ago, were using their smartphones to record what transpired (though the vloggers and passerby arrived after Midoriya accidentally transformed into Riser Glen, hence they are unaware of Midoriya's civilian identity), and they even witnessed and recorded the conversation between the two, thus they are aware that Riser Glen is the GOOD GUY.

"Whoa…is he a pro hero…?"

"From the looks of it…he's not…but judging from his height…he must be a middle schooler…"

"But he defended himself from that bald attacker…"

"Guess he must be a vigilante…"

"What's his Quirk…"

"He didn't show it…"

"Huh? Is he Quirkless…?"

"Must be…"

Suddenly, Riser Gant arrived and confronted Glen, and seeing the corpses of the Paradisers, as well as the corpses of the two cops who first responded, Gant became cautious and presume that Glen did this and attempted to apprehend him but the latter instinctively repel him as the two armored individuals began locking arms as they try to overpower one another yet Glen managed to break free and back away.

There Gant told Glen that he is taking him in for questioning and said that he is to answer to the charges of either homicide or murder and property damage, but Glen vehemently deny the accusations and explained the circumstances but Gant said that Glen would have to turn himself in and explain to the authorities, but the latter realized that he would be in trouble if he does so and that he would be subjected to a lot of unwanted scrutiny and reluctantly told Gant that he won't do so saying that he was a victim of the Paradisers' attack and that he is only defending himself.

"Sorry, but I can't…"

"Why?"

"If I turn myself in even though I was victimized by the Paradisers…the police would only berate me and subject me to community service and stuff…they would even keep me in their hit list…"

"If you committed no crime then at least turn yourself in and explain your side…"

"Even of I do…they won't let me off and would use me as a scapegoat…"

"Don't be foolish…"

"I have nothing to do with this…"

"I won't let you go…"

What Glen didn't realize is that Gant stealthily uses a smartphone to send an emergency text message to Team Idaten and inform them of the situation, and seconds later he received a text reply which Ingenium said that Gant would have to stall Glen as Team Idaten is on the way there, and there Gant decided to stealthily stall his target and tells him to surrender now, which Glen refuses.

To keep Glen from escaping Gant goaded his opponent and does a fighting pose before revealing his alias, and Glen got suckered as he does the same thing – doing a fighting pose before saying his name.

"Riser…Gant! Suisan!"

"Riser…Glen! Kenzan!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Midoriya narrowly defeated the Paradisers though it was through sheer luck brought about by the carelessness of the villains…leaving the leader as the remaining villain…and a brief battle ensued which Hammerhead narrowly escaped…

Gant got into a physical tussle with half of the sidekicks of Team Idaten but it is revealed that Gant was Ingenium's informant and there the pro hero fired the erring sidekicks and Gant was left to go…

Then Gant gets into a confrontation with Glen, resulting in a tense standoff between the two reluctant vigilantes…

Okay, though this fanfic is based on the Tokusatsu show Genseishin Justirisers, I took a few liberties by having the two Justirisers fight each other in battle, which never happened in the source material, and I thought this would add more to the story where the Justirisers started off as opponents before becoming comrades…

Regarding Gant's identity…he will be revealed soon…so be a little patient as more are on the way…

Though the chapter ended in a cliffhanger Midoriya is getting ready to fight what appeared to be someone that uses a similar battle suit, whilst figuring out how to use the Justipower he unknowingly acquired…

Well…this ends the opening story arc and now we are jumpstarting to a new one…
