Chapter 6
Naruto and Jose stared at each other intently, now normally the Wizard Saint wouldn't take his opponent seriously, but having heard a lot about him and his skills. It would've been a horrible idea to underestimate the person in front of him.
"Instead of us fighting, why don't you join my guild, we're the number 1 guild in Fiore after all. Under my guidance, you'd be unstoppable, think about it." He smirked at the Jinchuriki, thinking he would accept it.
Naruto scoffed at the offer, like he'd join someone that didn't care about his own members. He also attack and kidnapped his girlfriends and sister figure. What the hell is this guy on.
"No." Was all he said infuriating the wizard saint. How dare he refuse him when he, Jose Porla is a Wizard Saint!
"You'll pay for denying me, boy." Jose sneered with disappointment.
"You first asshole." Naruto said with a growl as he decided to make the first move.
Naruto rushed towards Jose who merely smirked at his foolishness of charging head on against him and sent out a blast of his magic.
"Dead Wave!" A purple magic circle appeared in front of him as a purple beam shot out of it straight at Naruto who didn't stop his charge.
All of a sudden a wall made out of earth appeared in front of him just as the beam would've hit him, hit the wall instead, causing cracks to appear instantly before it shattered and caused an explosion. The Wizard Saint cackled at the destroyed wall that tried to defend against him.
"Hahahaha, see you pathetic mage, you don't stand a chance against me if you can't defend against that!" Jose laughed with a crazed grin on his face. He never noticed that he had been snuck up on from behind.
"Rasengan." A voice whispered, though he was still able to hear it couldn't react in time as the blue sphere was slammed into his back. He shouted from the intense pain he could feel as the technique drilled into him and sent him crashing into the wall in front of him face first.
Jose ripped himself out of the wall and sneered at the undamaged blonde that was in the spot he was standing in a moment ago. How'd he get behind him without him noticing?! He's a Wizard Saint for crying out loud!
"You'll pay for that boy, now die!" Jose shouted as he sent out more "Dead Waves" at the blonde who dodged and weaved through the spells.
Naruto stuck out his hand with a technique in mind before saying it out loud.
"Almighty Push!" Jose was hit with an invisible force that pushed him and crashed into his throne where he had once sat. Naruto wasn't done however as he pulled out a sword that was strapped to his back and did two one-handed hand signs for another technique. "Wind Style: Wind Slash!" His sword started glowing white and slid his sword downward. The results were instant as the spot where Jose crashed into exploded.
Naruto waited for the wizard saint to come out since he knew that he wasn't done yet with those two attacks alone. He didn't have to wait long as Jose came out from the rubble, though he wasn't unscathed and had a slash that went over his left shoulder. He had a scowl on his face and was beyond mad at this point.
"THAT'S IT, I WILL NOT BE HUMILIATED LIKE THIS By A BRAT OF THAT BASTARD MINATO! DIE!" Jose 's eyes changed and began glowing black with yellow pupils with the area thickening from his magic power as he was now flaring it.
Jose was far from calm. His patience had long since worn thin, and frustration was etched across his face. His once proud and arrogant demeanor had been shattered by the realization that the boy before him was far stronger than he had anticipated. He could feel the immense pressure from Naruto's chakra not that he knew what it was though. It was ffar beyond anything he had encountered in his years as a Wizard Saint.
He clenched his fists, summoning more shades to his side, their ghostly forms swirling around him in a menacing dance. "I've fought battles you couldn't even comprehend, boy! I've torn down guilds, crushed wizards, and bent magic to my will. You're nothing compared to me!"
With a sudden burst of speed, Naruto vanished from his spot, leaving only a faint shimmer in the air where he had stood. Jose's eyes widened in shock as he struggled to follow Naruto's movements, his senses unable to keep up with the blond shinobi's speed. The next moment, Naruto appeared directly in front of him, his fist already cocked back.
"Don't you dare speak about my father that way!" Naruto shouted as he drove his fist into Jose's midsection with devastating force.
The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the air, and Jose's body was hurled backward, crashing through several walls of the ruined guild. Debris flew everywhere as Jose tumbled across the ground, finally coming to a stop in a cloud of dust. For a long moment, there was only silence.
Naruto stood calmly, his arms crossed over his chest as he watched the dust settle. His chakra flared around him, bright and radiant against the darkening sky. It was clear that the battle had barely begun for him—there was no sign of exhaustion, no hint of strain. He was far from his limit.
From the rubble, Jose staggered to his feet, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. His face was twisted with a mix of rage and disbelief. "You… you insolent brat!" he growled, his voice shaky from the pain. "I'll make you regret this!"
Jose raised both arms, and the air around him seemed to warp, his magic distorting the very fabric of reality. Dark energy crackled at his fingertips as he began to chant a powerful incantation. Above him, the sky darkened further, and a massive spectral figure began to form, towering over the remains of the battlefield. Its eyes glowed with an unnatural light, and its form twisted and shifted like a creature from the abyss.
"This is the power of a Wizard Saint!" Jose roared as a large Phantom Colossus fully manifested, its presence oppressive and overwhelming. The colossus raised one massive arm, its hand crackling with destructive energy. "You will be crushed under my magic, just like everyone else who dared to defy me!"
The colossus swung its arm down toward Naruto with a force that shook the very earth. The sheer power of the strike sent shockwaves through the air, causing buildings to crumble and debris to scatter in all directions.
But Naruto didn't flinch or look intimidated in the slightest. He stood calmly, his eyes focused on what was happening. He clapped his hands together with a thought a wood dome appeared, covering him just as the arm descended upon him. There was a loud bang that resounded in the area. Jose stared in complete shock and horror at seeing that the wooden dome had not only withstood with attack, but it didn't even have a crack. The dome opened up, revealing an unharmed Naruto who had the same expression on his face.
"It's time to finish this and I'm going to show you what happens to those who hurt the ones…. I love!" Naruto shouted the last part, his voice taking a demonic tone as his body radiated even more power, scaring the wizard saint even more. The group along with Mira, Lucy who was being carried by Natsu much to her embarrassment, and Levy who had gotten free thanks to Natsu beating Gajeel arrived to see this with them being in awe, his parents showing nothing, but pride seeing how strong their son was.
"That was for attacking my guild and my family." Naruto said, his right arm extended before he pulled it back. He suddenly appeared next to Jose Porla and punched him again on the face. "That was for trying to start a war with us and hurting everyone."
Another punch from his right, hitting Jose Porla in the stomach, causing him to spit some blood.
"That was making the ones I care about cry."
He kept punching Jose Porla without stopping, breaking his bones, knocking his teeth and spewing blood.
"That was for targeting Mirajane and Levy. Hurting Cana. Erza. Seilah. Ur. Lisanna. Elfman. Natsu. Gray. Happy. My parents! Our guild! This is all for my comrades and most of all my mates you hurt, you bastard!"
The group watched in awe as Naruto was beating Jose Porla, a guild master and member of the Ten Wizard Saints, like a ragdoll.
"This is intense." Gray whistled at how angry and powerful his friend was.
"Amazing…" Lisanna said in awe with stars in her eyes at her brother figure. She wanted to be strong like him too. Maybe she could get training from him?
"He's so strong!" Natsu exclaimed, looking excited with Lucy looking at him with awe as well, but his comment made her deadpan at him since it was such a Natsu thing to say.
"That's my boy/sochi." Minato/Kushina thought pride was evident on their faces.
"How is this happening!?" Jose Porla thought through the pain as every punch sent him on the verge of unconsciousness. "How is this weakling beating me! I am the Phantom Lord's Guild Master! He is nothing but trash!"
"DIE!" Jose Porla exclaimed as his eyes changed to red, his magic power increasing. "DARK PULSE!"
He released a wave of purple energy bigger than Death Wave towards him. Naruto simply raised his right hand and absorbed the attack, no longer was he going to entertain this fool.
"I-impossible," Jose Porla said as he stopped the attack, staring at Naruto when he noticed the attack wasn't doing anything to him.
"W-who are you?" Jose Porla asked as he backed away, fear of this monster that he had been fighting. Naruto walked up to him while his Chakra was still visible and the air was very thick making it hard for a lot of people in the room to breathe, but his friends didn't feel it as much, but could tell he was pissed off.
"I am Naruto Uzumaki Senju, but to my enemies, I'm the Shadow Slayer of Fairy Tail." Naruto said as he held out his hand as a Rasengan formed in his hand, but he wasn't done yet and pumped more chakra into it as it gained four small wind blades.
"Wind Style: Rasengan." He flickered behind the man and slammed the powerful spiraling sphere into the center of his back. Jose Porla flew and crashed into the wall and into the next room, his back scorched and bent in an inhumane shape. His eyes were completely swollen from the beating he took.
"Y-you -hack!-damn trash-koff!" Jose Porla exclaimed as he coughed blood. He tried to stand up, but he realized that he couldn't move. He couldn't feel his body nor could he feel any magic. "M-my body! M-my magic! W-w-what have you done to me?!"
"I destroyed your Magic Container and shattered your spine." Naruto replied in a cold tone as he glared at Jose Porla, whose face was riddled with horror and despair. "That's the price you get for messing with Fairy Tail. Live with being pathetic. I'm going to send your soul to the afterlife and to hell where you belong." He growled, his eyes blazed in fury as he grabbed Jose roughly and placed his hand on his head with the other on his shoulder to keep him still.
He knew what he was about to do. He was going to remove the man's soul from his body and kill him.
Just before he could go through with it though, he felt his shoulder get grabbed, stopping him. He turned his head to the person and saw it was Seilah who was giving him a stern look.
"Don't do it, Naruto-kun. I know what you were about to do and I can't let you do that." Seilah said with a stern, yet soft expression, making him growl in annoyance.
"He needs to suffer for what he's done. He attacked you, the others, Mira's siblings, threatened my home, my guild, and my parents. I think this is justice deserved." Naruto argued with a glare aimed at the now crippled wizard saint who was unconscious.
"I know, but you can't kill him. It would be against everything that this guild stands for if you do this now. You're not a killer and I won't let you start now after starting a new life here." Erza, having heard what he was about to do, made her way towards them. Her eyes softened knowing he was hurting.
"What would you have me do then, do nothing else and just let him get away with this?!" He shouted frustrated and not understanding why she and Seilah were stopping him. Doesn't he deserve what was coming to him and more? The girls were nearly killed and yet, they want this man to live even after what happened to them?
"I know what he did, but killing him won't do you any favors. I know you're angry at him, but that isn't the way to do it. Please don't, do it. Be the better man that I and the others know you are. Be the man that Yugito and Fu loved." Mira, having grouped with the others, not wanting him to kill him, was pleading to him as she hugged him from behind.
Naruto's eyes widened at her words when she mentioned his former lovers. He looked to see Levy and Ur standing not far from them and their eyes showed that they didn't want him to kill him too and have him pay for his crimes, even if the latter didn't care as much if he died or not. Suddenly his body started glowing blue and green making Erza and Mira let go. He grunted from the unknown, yet familiar chakra that had somehow been inside him. They all wondered what was happening when the two energies began forming and taking shape.
He and everyone else was completely surprised when two people appeared next to them and it brought him to tears at what he was seeing. They looked exactly the last time he had seen them before they were captured. It was Yugito with her blonde hair in her signature braid and her brown eyes with her normal Shinobi clothes. Fu was standing next to her with her mint green hair with her orange clip and her orange eyes as she wore her usual clothes. They both had smiles on their faces that showed nothing, but love for him.
"You've done enough. Let him live, you don't have to kill anymore, that was your past life. You're no longer a shinobi of Konoha or the Alliance." Fu told him, her smile not leaving her face.
"You're a member of Fairy Tail and we couldn't be any prouder of you beloved." Yugito finished with her smile that brought him to tears.
"H-How?" He managed to stutter out being in shock at what was happening.
"Before we died, we placed a piece of our Chakra inside you should you ever need us and we've seen everything that's happened since our deaths." Yugito told him and he went to hug them, but they held their hands up with a shake of their heads. He didn't do anything, but he was confused about their actions.
"We aren't physical, only here in astral forms, so you would just pass through us unfortunately." Fu said in sadness and she could feel her heart breaking when she saw how sad he was about this.
"Why are you here?" Erza asked, in awe and confusion. Awe of seeing her boyfriend's former fiances and confusion about what they are doing here. Seilah, Mira, Levy, Minato, Kushina, and Ur had joined them and were just as shocked to see them here.
"We came here to stop Naruto-kun from doing something that he would regret and with the turmoil he was in, it brought our chakra out for us to help him. We know what he's done, but killing him won't change anything or make things better." Fu said with Naruto looking down at the unconscious Phantom mage and then looked up to see everyone smiling at him.
"Don't let your anger and hatred control your actions. Don't let him stain your hands." Yugito walked up to him and cupped his cheek with Fu doing the same to the other one. Even if she couldn't feel his warmth, she could feel all the love coming from him for her and Fu.
"You baka, you've been through so much and yet, you've only grown from what faced. We're so proud of you Naru-kun." Fu smiled with tears appearing in her eyes.
Naruto dropped Jose and fell to his knees. How could they look at him with such love and affection after failing them and everyone else. They were dead because he wasn't strong enough to protect them.
"How? How can you still look at me with such love when I couldn't save you. I failed you both and everyone else. How can you smile at me knowing that I couldn't stop Madara and Obito? I don't deserve either of you after what happened to you. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Naruto sobbed while banging his fist on the floor repeatedly, bearing all of his feelings to them as everyone watched him break down.
The girls couldn't bear to see him like this and moved towards him with Erza bringing his head into her shoulder as she let him cry. Levy, Ur, Seilah, and Mira were in tears as well seeing him like this. It wasn't right to see him crying and blaming himself. Mira was rubbing his back in a soothing manner, hoping to at least be able to comfort him. Seilah, Ur, and Levy couldn't do much, but they sat beside him to show they were there for him.
Kushina and Minato meanwhile watched as the girls comforted their son with sad expressions, but knew that he needed them more than ever and would let them be there for him. They looked at Fu and Yugito in awe and surprise of what they had heard. It was remarkable for such a thing to be possible. They wanted to speak with them, but now wasn't the time as their son needed them even if this would be the only chance they'd get to see them.
After a few minutes of crying and calming himself down, he was now in control of himself, but he didn't look at them. He just looked at the floor unable to meet their gazes, ashamed of himself. They saw this and frowned sadly at their lover at how much he must've suffered when they died. And seeing him like this made them want to cry themselves, but held back their tears. He showed even after they died, he never stopped loving them and even now that hadn't changed and it made them smile inwardly.
"Naruto-kun, look at me." Yugito told him gently and he did as told and his eyes widened when he looked at them. They were smiling at him. "What happened to us wasn't in any way your fault or to blame either. Madara and Obito were the ones responsible for what happened to us. You had no way of knowing when they would come after us and even if you had known, as you were at the time, you wouldn't have been able to stop them." She said, making him grit his teeth despite wanting to argue, she was right.
"And even if you didn't save us, you were able to rescue Matatabi-chan and Chomei-chan from being fully sealed into the statue and were able to reverse it somewhat. You saved our partners and that is something that we are both grateful for." Fu gave him a warm smile.
"And you didn't fail us, you had done everything you could, but it wasn't enough at the time. Over the last three years though, We've seen how much you've grown and become happier with everyone here. It's time for you to finally forgive yourself because we never once blamed you and neither does anyone else for that matter." Yugito smiled at her beloved, making him look at them with wide eyes.
Yugito and Fu noticed he wasn't saying anything, their smiles growing as they looked at the girls and then at Minato and Kushina with smiles widening even more at seeing them.
"You're his parents, it's an honor to meet you both." Yugito said as she bowed at them with Fu doing the same.
"The pleasure is ours, thank you for being there for our son when we couldn't." Minato said as he held Kushina who leaned on his shoulders with tears in the corner of her eyes at what was happening.
"Naruto wouldn't stop talking about you two and told us all about you. His eyes lit up when he told how he met each of you. It was just so beautiful hearing him talk so fondly about you. I couldn't have approved of any women better in our old home than you two." Kushina said, making them tear up at her kind words.
"Thank you for being there for him and helping him get over what happened. It was thanks to all of you that he was able to smile and find love again." Fu gave them warm smiles, full of nothing, but gratitude.
"We're Fairy Tail, so of course we'd help him." Mira gave them warm smiles as the others nodded in agreement.
"He's really something, he's done a lot for me over the last few months and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him." Ur said with a smile.
"He's helped me accept my past and become a stronger woman despite what I went through and my insecurities and fears." Erza told them with a smile.
"He was there for me when I almost lost my siblings and helped me get over what happened and to move on from it." Mira had tears appearing just thinking about all the things that they'd been through since they met.
"He didn't care how much I loved books or how nerdy it sounded and accepted me for who I am. He loves me for me and all of me, the good and the bad." Levy gave a soft smile, but frowned when she looked down at her not so developed chest.
"Naruto-kun didn't care that I was a demon when we met and it surprised me. Most humans hate me, but he didn't and yet despite how I treated him upon meeting him, he still showed kindness. It was something that drew me in." Seilah gave her beloved a small smile as she along with the others put their hands on their shoulders or comforted him in some manner.
Naruto couldn't believe everything he heard his girlfriends say about him. Couldn't they see how much of a failure he was? How could they say those things about him when he couldn't save his fiances? He doesn't deserve them, their encouraging words, they were light and weren't failures like he was.
"Naruto-kun, you need to stop thinking this way about yourself. You aren't a failure, you do deserve happiness and love. Even if our life was cut short, you gave us the best times that we had together. You gave us love and what it felt like to be in love with someone. You proved that Jinchuriki can find happiness even if ours was short, we don't regret anything and are so proud to have been the ones that you loved and wanted to love." Fu got down to her knees and cupped his cheek. Even if she wasn't there physically she could still feel all the warmth that he gave off.
"And now you've found people that love you and want you to be happy." Naruto managed to stand and the girls looked at him worriedly, he gave them reassuring nods that he was okay and turned back to Fu and Yugito.
"Even if what you say is true, how can I not kill him to make sure he won't ever bother our guild ever again? He nearly destroyed my new home and really hurt my friends and nearly killed my loved ones. He deserves to die for it." Naruto sneered at the wizard saint who was still knocked out.
"Not like this though. Please." Levy said, understanding why he was angry and wanted to do it, but she couldn't let him go through with it.
"It's because you would be doing what Sasuke wanted for so long. Revenge. Remember what he went through to be able to kill his brother? Even after he killed him, he went after the village next and the kages." Yugito told him, making him flinch at the comparison of what he would turn into.
"Would you be satisfied or would you put your hatred towards something else? We don't want to see you become like that, so let him be arrested and dealt with by the authorities. You've saved your home already and everyone else." Fu added, making him nod slowly and they smiled at him along with everyone else.
He dropped the wizard saint not caring for his condition as he was enveloped in a sudden hug from the front and behind. He looked down and saw that Mira and Levy were holding him. Now he felt like shit making them worry like this and cursed himself for nearly breaking one of the most important rules in Fairy Tail which is the act of murder.
He looked up to everyone and saw they were giving him proud smiles for what he was doing. He turned towards his former lovers and saw that they were beginning to fade making his heart ache knowing this would be the last time he'd see them again.
The two gave him soft smiles knowing what was happening. Their chakra was fading and with one last thing, they walked up to their lover as Mira and Levy stepped back allowing them to give him one last hug.
"Don't fall into despair, my love. Remember we'll always be with you and will always love you till the end of times." Fu said with a bright smile as she was about to disappear.
"We'll always be watching over you, so never lose faith in yourself and always fight for your precious people and loved ones. Like Fu said, till the end of times." Yugito's form disappeared completely leaving a stunned and teary eyed Naruto along with everyone else who was shedding their own tears that heard their words.
He closed his eyes, calming himself with deep breaths. "Thank you." He whispered to himself." When he opened his eyes, they were no longer in Rinnegan, but normal blue again. He then walked towards everyone else standing a distance away.
"Are you alright, girls?" He asked in a gentle tone.
"Y-yeah," Levy stuttered, looking at the ground bashfully. "I'm alright."
"And so is everyone else." Ur smiled at him as did everyone else, getting a nod from Naruto.
"Let's go home then." Minato told the group as they left the base. As they headed out of the building, Naruto saw that Levy and Mira were limping somewhat, most likely from what Phantom Lord did to them when they were captured and so he created a shadow clone and it picked up Mira while he picked up Levy who both squeaked at the sudden actions.
"H-hey!" Levy squeaked with red cheeks while Mira got over her shock and snuggled into the clone getting chuckles from Minato. and Gray. Ur and Seilah had pouts since they wanted to be carried like them. Natsu who was still holding Lucy just smirked at her best friend since she had teased her when she made a similar noise because of Natsu when he picked her up suddenly.
As they all made their way towards the exit, the wind shifted behind them before someone appeared; a giant, fat man wearing a green cloak, gold-colored shirt and a scarf, with a top hat that matched his cloak. He was grinning madly, his weird, cross-shaped pupils looking at Naruto who was in the back.
"How tragic," He thought in glee as tears leaked from his eyes. "To have you experience such a fate as this. Truly tragic."
Just as he was about to cast a spell on Naruto, he stopped as he felt an intense pressure that caused him to break in cold sweat.
"I wouldn't try something like that if I was you." Naruto said as he turned his head, getting everyone's attention, glaring at Aria with cold blue eyes. "Leave, before you really piss me off." He finished demonically.
Aria could see a giant fox, flaming cat, and giant beetle, their eyes baring down on him as they glared at him. Unable to hold on, Aria fainted and would never be able to get the images he saw being haunted by them.
Don't mess with a Tailed Beast and those they consider family!
"Excellent work, Naruto-kun," Erza said with a nod. "Thanks to you, we've won the war."
"…Don't mention it, but it wasn't just me, but everyone did their part." Naruto said before he started walking. "Let's get out of here before the explosions go off."
"Explosions?" Seilah asked with a deadpan stare.
Suddenly, the top of the robot exploded, causing the entire building to shake. During the entire time he was there, he had created some Shadow Clones and sent them to plant explosive seals all over the robot.
"Guess we were too slow," Naruto commented as another part of the robot exploded getting shocked looks from some, cheers from Kushina and Natsu, deadpan or incredulous looks from everyone else.
"Why the hell did you set explosions!?" Gray exclaimed as everyone ran as fast as they can from the shaking robot.
"To get rid of this abomination that nearly wrecked our guildhall," Naruto replied as Levy held on to him as tight as she could to avoid falling off with Mira doing the same with the clone.
"Not fair! I wanna destroy Phantom Lord's guild!" Natsu exclaimed.
"You should've told me, I would've helped too son!" Kushina whined childishly, getting chuckles from everyone else as Minato rolled his eyes at his wife's antics.
The group then quickly escaped the exploding robot via jumping off it. Their comrades watched them as the robot fell apart from the explosion, falling to the ground.
They arrived to the others as they saw the group heading their way. Cana ran towards them and saw how badly hurt her friends were. She also noticed the tear stains that Naruto along with nearly everyone else had, which made her wonder, what happened over there.
"The war is over!" Minato exclaimed in a loud voice. "WE'VE WON!"
Once they realized what he just said, the mages of Fairy Tail suddenly smiled widely before they all cheered, jumping into the air. Makarov who didn't participate in it couldn't keep the grin off his face at seeing them overcome this.
"Let's get you girls checked out. All three of you look like you went through a tough time." Naruto said with Natsu nodding his head in agreement.
It wasn't long before they met up with everyone else at the guild hall or what's left of it with Chomei with them still who had a sad smile seeing everyone hurt and their home partially destroyed.
The members of Fairy Tail was gathered in front of their partially destroyed guild building, looking sad as the place they spent so many years in gone. They won the war, but lost an important battle, protecting their guild.
"Thank you for saving our home Chomei!" Cana thanked the Biju with a large smile.
"You're the best!"
"Tell Matatabi thanks for protecting us from the Jupiter Canon."
"You're all so awesome!
These were a few of many of the compliments he was getting and he had a large blush on his face that was easy to see. Naruto laughed upon seeing it knowing that he along with the others weren't used to getting thanked or complimented. They deserve it though for helping protect the guild from the mecha. Inside the seal Matatabi wasn't faring much better as she was also blushing from the praise why Kurama was chuckling at his siblings reactions.
Makarov and Minato stood in front of them, looking sadly at the guild hall that they were supposed to protect. He then noticed the sad and guilty look on Lucy's face.
"There is no need to be sad," Makarov said, still looking at the guild hall, though the sad look he has is gone. "Guild halls can be rebuilt. I'm just happy that no one got badly hurt from this foolish war."
Lucy still didn't look up, tears appearing in her eyes, feeling responsible for the cause of the war. She felt a hand, causing her to turn and saw Natsu was grinning at her
"This isn't your fault, Lucy. You're one of us." He said in a reassuring tone. "No one blames you."
"He's right, Lu-chan," Levy agreed with a small smile. "We don't blame you for what happened."
"Yeah! It's not your fault!" Another said in agreement.
"You're one of us! Of course we won't let them take you!" Lisanna shouted with a bright smile on her face.
"Aye!" Came the reply from Happy.
"You're like my daughter and no one takes mine from the mama bear." Kushina wrapped the girl in a tight embrace.
She looked at her guildmates and then at Kushina, who all assured her that they didn't blame her for the mess that happened. She was touched as she looked at them before she started crying into the redhead's shoulder.
Minato smiled at his wife, knowing that while she can be a tomboy most of the time, she can be gentle as well when she needs to be. Makarov smiled as he watched them comfort their crying member before looking at the setting sun, enjoying the glowing bask of victory.
"…But now, I have to handle the Magic Council…" he thought, sweatdropping. "NOOO!"
"M-Master!?" Erza exclaimed in shock as Minato cried. "What's wrong?"
"I think I know what's going through his head." Makarov hung his head as tears formed in his eyes as he realized what his predecessor was crying about. "DAMN IT!" He cried out, now they'd have to deal with those fools that make their lives hell.
"Minato, Makarov get ahold of yourselves!" Kushina jumped from her husband's outburst along with the others.
Seilah blinked. "Never would I imagine I'd see your father cry like this. It's kind of humorous and sad at the same time." She didn't know which to go with it, while Ur on the other hand just laughed, finding the whole thing hilarious.
Erza then stepped forward and took control of the situation as she usually did. "Alright everyone! Seemingly late in the day, we will all go home. Come tomorrow, we will begin rebuilding the guild. Any complaints?"
Even if anyone did have any, no one stepped up to the powerful mage for fear of being flattened. Kushina though was beaming, seeing her fellow redhead take charge, she was so proud of her. Smiling happily, the woman then stretched her arm out. "Good. Now, off to bed with all of you!"
Hearing a murmur from the crowd, the mages began talking amongst themselves as people began breaking away and heading for home. Watching as they left, Naruto sighed. It had been a rather big day, so sleep was sounding good, especially for Mira, Levy, and Lucy. They've had a hard day with what they went through.
In the place where the Fairy Tail guild once stood, the mages were busy rebuilding, carrying lumber and concrete as they build the foundation of their headquarters. Mirajane, Lisanna and Mira were giving refreshments to the builders, though Lisanna made sure that Mira didn't do too much and overdo things.
It's been two weeks since the Fairy Tail/Phantom Lord Guild War, and the victorious guild was slowly rebuilding itself. The mages were happily and quickly doing construction work except for a few people.
All of Naruto's girls met up the next day after the war and talked about their meeting Yugito and Fu with Cana when she heard this was beyond shocked at hearing what happened and how they all met his fiances or at least their chakra imprints. Cana felt jealous and sad she couldn't have met them like everyone else, but was very glad that they had stopped their boyfriend from committing murder on Jose. They promised themselves that they'd be the ones to help him next time and not have to rely on someone else to be there for him. It was an experience though that they'd never forget and would all agree that Fu and Yugito were the Alpha's.
"Man, I can't believe the damn council questioned you guys non-stop for a week, they're so annoying." Kurama grumbled as he laid on Naruto's shoulder having been brought out of the seal along with the others while Naruto was eating from a bento that had been prepared for him by Mira.
"Don't be such a grouch Kurama, it had to be done or else they could've gotten in some serious trouble with them." Matatabi said as she sat in his lap with a purr, loving how he was petting her.
"Bah, we could deal with them no problem." Kurama scoffed dismissively, not worried in the slightest.
"But not everyone can brother and besides Mira, Levy, and Lucy are still recovering, so it wouldn't be good for them to have to move too much right now." Chomei said, perched on his shoulder.
"Oh, Naruto-kun, there you are. Ahh Kurama-kun, Matatabi-chan, and Chomei-kun, it's good to see you again." They looked up to see Mira along with Levy, Lucy, and Cana walking towards them, still wrapped up in bandages with the latter drinking from a large mug. They had been interrogated by the magic council to figure out what happened.
A Week Earlier…
As the mages build the foundation of their new building, the Magic Council Knights suddenly appeared, wanting to ask some questions.
"RUN AWAY!" Natsu and Happy exclaimed in fear as they ran as soon as they saw the knights.
Only for them to be caught by a magic trap.
"Natsu, Happy, why?" Lisanna facepalmed as the two flailed helplessly in the air.
"It's because they're idiots Lisanna-chan." Naruto said to the youngest Strauss who sighed at her boyfriend, not bothering responding.
"UWAH/NO!" Makarov and Minato cried, having dreaded this moment since the war ended.
"Masters, please calm down!" Erza exclaimed to the crying third and fourth masters.
"Get a hold of yourselves!" Kushina shouted to the masters.
End Flashback
It was safe to say that things had been sorted out with all the evidence that had been given to them by Naruto and Minato. With said evidence, Phantom Lord was disbanded with most of the mages being arrested with Juvia and Gajeel having escaped before they arrived. With all the rebuilding being underway, things were looking up for the guild and everyone was recovering from the ordeal.
Naruto smiled at the girls, seeing them getting better by the day.
"You girls look like you're doing better today, do you need anything or want anything?" Naruto asked, getting sighs from Levy and Mira while Lucy giggled at them while Cana just outright laughed, they felt like he was being too much at the moment with how protective he was acting.
"We're fine Naruto-kun, nothing you need to worry about." Levy told him with a smile on her face.
"You can stop fussing over us. We've gotten much better where you don't need to watch over us 24/7." Mira said, getting a sigh from him.
"Right, right. I just am worried after what happened and can't help, but worry." Naruto said, his face showing how he felt. This made the girls smile though they still felt a little annoyed at being constantly watched over by him.
"We're tougher than you think whiskers, so stop worrying so much." Cana waved off his concerns as he sighed knowing they were right and he needed to let them be.
"Though, we do have something we want to ask you, can you come with us for a moment?" Levy asked her hazel eyes, staring at him, who nodded.
"Sure." Naruto shrugged as he closed the bento, set it down, and got up from his spot before the group of five walked away from everyone else.
After walking a few minutes, they all stopped walking, far enough away from everyone, confusing Naruto and the Biju at their actions.
"Okay, why did we have to go so far from the guild?" Naruto asked with a raised brow in curiosity.
"Well, after everything that happened, so us four started talking and were wondering if you could start training us?" Levy asked in a quiet voice.
"We realized that we aren't nearly as strong as you, Seilah, Ur, Erza, Kushina, Master Minato. All we did was get captured and get hurt with the three of us." Lucy told the Jinchuriki who didn't say anything, but remained quiet.
"And even though I fought, I couldn't do anything while outside and if I had gone inside with you and the others, I wouldn't have been able to do anything against them." Cana said with a frown at herself.
"It's been two years since I actively used my magic and would like to start getting back into fighting shape again. I felt so weak during the whole thing and couldn't do anything to help." Mira said with a frustrated and sad look as she gripped her dress tightly.
The Biju felt bad for the girls and looked at Naruto, wondering what he would say, even if they already knew. They wanted to hear him say it.
He took in their words and thought about it, he had never thought them weak or helpless. Seeing them act like didn't seem right to him. With his mind made up, he smiled at them, his decision made, though it was an easy one to make.
"Of course I'll help." Naruto turned to Lucy with smirk on his face, making her a littler nervous. "I'm surprised you didn't ask Natsu for help with this, I mean you two and Lisanna have been spending A LOT of time together since I've been back." Her face lit up at his words with the girls giggling or smirking at her.
"Shut up, I want to surprise him is all and he wouldn't know how to really train me. You have seen him, right?" Lucy gave him a look that made them all laugh though the blush on her face didn't help. Kurama already bored jumped off his shoulder and ran back to the guild with Chomei following, wanting to meet other people. Matatabi stayed though, but she was now sitting beside him, having jumped out of his arms.
"True." He hummed as Mira, Cana, and Levy hugged him.
"Thank you, Naruto-kun." Levy said shyly as she kissed him on the right cheek, Mira on the left cheek, and Cana who didn't shy away, gave him a kiss on the lips that was more than a peck.
They watched as it turned from a kiss to them starting to makeout making Lucy uncomfortable with her eye twitching in annoyance while Levy and Mira both had pouts at not going for it themselves.
They separated after a few minutes though it felt like eternity, though Cana had the same smirk on her face, proud of herself, but was also feeling very aroused at how the makeout session had gone. She was going to be giving him so loving tonight.
"Thanks babe." Cana stepped back with the others as Naruto took a moment to compose himself, then realized that he had an audience as he face went from red to white in an instant and slowly he turned his head to where Matatabi was, who was giving him the largest grin possible.
It made him nervous.
"Oh don't mind me." Matatabi said in a fake innocent voice. His shoulders slumped knowing he wouldn't be hearing the end of it from her.
"Oh god." He groaned, already dreading the near future. He coughed into his fist and looked at the amused women with Lucy whose face was atomic red while trying to get herself under control. "A-anyway, we'll start once you three are cleared by Porlyusica and Cana. We can start tomorrow." They gave him determined looks at his words.
They weren't going to sit by and do nothing from now on.
