Sneak Peek #3: A Difficult reunion
The fairies and Sparrowmen in Pixie Hollow were getting more anxious, thanks to Tink taking most of the Pixie Dust for Peter Pan and the Lost Boys to use. Tink has joined Peter and the Lost Boys and it was about six weeks ago since she ran away and decided to join Peter. This was still a bit of a shock to everyone in Pixie Hollow, that the most talented Tinker alive would just abandon them, and even leave without saying goodbye. Her four closest friends; Fawn, Iridessa, Silvermist, and Rosetta were so devastated that they didn't know if she was okay or not.
Rosetta noticed Terence and saw the devastation on his face too. Rosetta, her mother instincts kicking in flew over to him and placed a comforting arm over his shoulder. Terence looked at her.
Rosetta: Terence, Are you alright?
Terence: *Sadly* No, Rosetta. I just don't know where Tink is. I looked everywhere for her. I didn't get to tell her how I felt about her or to say goodbye.
Rosetta showed some sympathy and so did Silvermist, tears in her eyes as she went to Terence's left-hand side and pulled into a hug.
Silvermist: Oh, Terence, we know. *She let her tears flow and let Terence share the embrace with her.* We know. She meant everything to us too.
Fawn and Iridessa were the next into the scene.
Fawn: Terence, we miss her too, and nobody knew this would happen. But we'll just gonna have to accept it, we don't know if Tink will ever come back.
Iridessa: Truth be told, we're not the only ones who have taken this too hard. Vidia has been so hard on herself since after the last fight she had and she's still scared that she might revert back into rivals with her.
Rosetta: Also, Clank and Bobble don't know if they will carry on Tink's tinkering. They sure knew how to brighten her day and be supportive of her.
The four girls tried their best to stay close to Terence at all times. Just then, Viola appeared and blew her horn. The group of five turned to her as she approached.
Viola: Terence, Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, Silvermist; Queen Clarion Awaits at the Pixie Dust Tree.
Wondering what this could mean, the Group of five flew over to the Pixie Dust Tree without giving second thoughts; after all, they couldn't keep the Queen waiting. Once there, Terence, Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, and Silvermist noticed that Vidia, Clank, Bobble, and even Lizzie and her father, Martin (Both in fairy forms) were there as Queen Clarion insisted they be there at once.
Vidia: Oh, hi guys. *She had been feeling uncomfortable since it happened.* I guess you were called for too.
Rosetta: *concerned* Is this about Tinker Bell?
Bobble: Aye, we think so, Rosetta. It'll probably be the scout fairies finally found where Tink will be at.
Lizzy couldn't stop thinking about Tinker Bell, ever since she heard of when her very first fairy friend had abandoned her kind, she and her father did all that they could to keep Pixie Hollow secured as well as set up defenses around the entrances (kind of like Swiss Family Robinson) and look after everything where Tink has left off. Martin placed a comforting arm on his daughter's shoulder as it was still a shock for him.
Viola: *exits from the chamber* Okay, now. Queen Clarion states you can come in now.
It was the cue for the group to enter the chamber, and they stood before Queen Clarion and the Ministers of the Seasons. Queen Clarion let a worm smile to the group and nodded to them.
Martin: You called for us, Queen Clarion?
Queen Clarion: Yes, Martin. We have some good news. The Scout Fairies have finally found where Tinker Bell is.
Everyone who heard this news was happy now that Tink was found. Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, Silvermist, and Terence were the happiest, and Lizzy ran over and hugged Queen Clarion.
Vidia: *Though she is happy to hear Tink has been found, she is confused if Lizzy was allowed to embrace the Queen like that.* Is she allowed to do that?
The Minister of Spring: I could ask the same question.
Lizzy released herself from the Queen.
Lizzy: oh. um... *Feeling awkward* I'm sorry. I guess that was a bit awkward of me?
Queen Clarion: *she was not offended* No, dear. I am just as happy as you all now we know the report of Tinker Bell's whereabouts.
Rosetta: *sounding relieved* Thank goodness. The poor sapling, I thought we would never know if she's still in Neverland.
Fawn: That means we could find her at the place she is, and we can bring her home.
Iridessa: This is wonderful. Finally able to see her again.
Silvermist: Do you know where she's at?
Queen Clarion: Okay, girls. Okay, settle down. From what we heard from the Scout Fairies,...
The Minister of Autumn: She is at a hideout underneath a hollow tree, and it's not far from Pixie Hollow.
The Minister of Spring: There was a boy who had dug it out and made it into a dirt hideout for him as shelter.
The Minister of Summer: We are certain that's where Tinker Bell might be. She seemed to be fond of this boy who was stranded on this island for a few months.
The Minister of Winter: We believe it must've happened after the pirates who have arrived and he might've stowed away.
With that said Fawn, Iridessa, Silvermist, Rosetta, and even Vidia shivered at the thought. They remembered that Pirate incident a few months ago when it was about to be the four-season festival. Though Vidia was happy to know that Tink was okay, she felt a little uneasy because of the last argument they both had which led to Tink running away. Queen Clarion witnessed the feeling, she knew that Vidia still had a lot to learn as this friendship thing they started over due to the misunderstanding still felt new to her as she disserved that second chance. Fairy Mary, the head of the Tinkers glided over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder, and she flinched but relaxed a little bit. Vidia looked at her and she gave her an encouraging smile with a simple nod.
Clank: At least we can get to bring Tinker Bell home, and Periwinkle will be so happy to see her again.
Bobble: Aye, Clankie, this will be the best thing for her, even after seeing how sad and miserable she had been without Tink.
Rosetta: I know, the poor sapling. Terence and Lizzy here had the same misery once we tried to keep Pixie Hollow running and safe.
*The scene changes to outside of Hangmen's Tree; Peter's underground hideout.*
It was midday on the next day, and that's when the group: Lizzy, Martin, Terence, Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, Silvermist, Clank, Bobble, Blaze, Cheese, and Vidia flew towards the clearing where Hangmen's Tree was located in. They mostly looked around, keeping an eye out for any hawks or other predators, as well as making sure nobody saw them in their tiny forms. They then noticed small shadows coming out of the tree and kept themselves quiet under thick leaves sprouting on a bush, but were a bit skittish because of their golden shimmering aura which every fairy always had. The shadows were passing them, taking a closer look, and they noticed whom the shadows belonged to. Of course, the leader will be Peter Pan, but with him were six boys dressed in some kind of animal pajamas. Lizzy and Martin wondered and they heard of six boys reported missing in the paper; "six boys have disappeared in the night and no trace of them was seen." These six might be the missing boys. They waited until the boys were out of site and it was clear for them to use the special Pixie Dust they used to become humans and fairies at any time.
Tink was finishing up tinkering with the last details for the Lost Boys hideout. She had been so attached to Peter despite that they had met a few days ago. Peter and his new gang of Lost Boys were heading to Marooners Rock to teach these trouble-making Pirates a lesson. But as she did, she heard some jingling from outside. Out of curiosity, she flew out of the tree with one of the tunnels. It couldn't be Peter so soon, he's already fighting with James, maybe that'll be when he cut off his hand. But instead and to her surprise, it was her old friends; Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, Silvermist, and even Terence, Clank, and Bobble.
Tink: Girls? Terence? Clank? Bobble?
Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, Silvermist, Terence, Clank, Bobble: Tinker Bell! *Excited and relieved* We finally found you!
*Tink was so happy to see them, but noticed that they were now humans, they may not understand her unless Neverland granted humans the gift to communicate and contact with fairies, but then Terence gave her a second and a large pinch of the chartreuse pixie dust they used, it sprinkled on Tink, thus making her into a human just like the first time she did to have Lizzy encourage most of the citizens in London to believe in fairies. Tink was so excited to see her friends again.*
*Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, and Silvermist were the first to rush over to Tink and form a group hug. All of them giggling in excitement and happiness in their five-way hug/embrace.*
Iridessa: *Crying with joy* We were so worried about you!
Silvermist: *Innocently* Oh, you're okay! *Hugging Tink tightly.*
Fawn: We missed you so much! We thought we lost you.
Rosetta: Tinker Bell! *Hugging Tink, not wanting to let go of her*
*Tink laughed and smiled back as she was delighted to see her friends again. It was now Terence's turn to embrace her.*
Terence: Tink!
Tink: Terence! *They both embraced.* I missed you! But how did you all find me?
Bobble: We couldn't do it on our own, we have been around the whole Island, looking for you while setting up defenses and coverings around Pixie Hollow for its protection and safety.
Clank: It may have been almost six full weeks since you left, but Pixie Hollow remained the same. Also, we got some help.
*Tink turned and noticed Vidia slowly approaching.*
Tink: Oh, it's you Vidia.
Vidia: Yeah, but not just me. Now I just wanted to apologize about our last argument. I didn't mean what I said or to slap you, I was just hurt and angry. I get it now. and I'm sorry.
Tink: Ah, it's no big deal, Vid. Though I have hoped you might've changed a little bit.
Vidia: I also went to get help, from two friends you might remember. *She instructed Lizzy and her father, coming over.*
Tink: Martin? Lizzy?
Lizzy: Hello, Tinker Bell! *She was so happy to find Tink at last.* I'm so glad to see you again, and that we found you.
Tink: Lizzy. *Tink rushed over and pulled Lizzy into a hug.*
Tink: Oh, Lizzy. I missed you. *Lizzy threw her arms around her,* You and your father have been living in Neverland now? I couldn't believe it all this time.
Lizzy: We left our home in London as we needed to watch over Pixie Hollow, Tinker Bell.
Martin: We couldn't refuse to help your other friend, Tinker Bell. But wait until everyone hears we finally found you here.
Tink: But they don't have to know. No one does. I've been doing just fine the whole time with Peter, he and I met a month ago before summer, and we bonded close together and made a new hideout for the lost boys right here in Neverland, where they will never grow up. And it's been so much fun, better yet, I am the very first Lost Fairy, and the only girl in Peter's Team! Me! *Spinning around excitedly* Me!
*Everyone was a bit surprised and confused. What did she mean by that? They had been worried sick about her and wouldn't know what would happen to her, but they had to keep trying to convince her to come home to Pixie Hollow.*
Lizzy: Tinker Bell, we don't understand. We've come all this way to find you, and we are asking you to come home to Pixie Hollow.
Tink: Oh, Lizzy. I'm already a member of the Lost Boys, and we have been having so much fun. Peter and I brought the Lost Boys here, as they never wanted to grow up, and here in Neverland nobody ever grows up. No Siree.
Rosetta: Tink, whatever you're saying, it's a bad idea.
Tink: Now don't be modest, Rosetta. They agreed to come here and they like it here, and Peter made me the second in command of this team. We were having such fun and games, like trapping some Indians who also live here, when we win, we turn them loose the same they turn us loose when they win, as well as visiting Mermaid Lagoon, *grumbled with an annoyed and disgusted look* though some of those mermaids were quite rude and narcissistic.
Terence: *He was just about to get impatient as Vidia was now* Tink, stop this nonsense. You probably should return them to their families.
Tink: They don't want to go home, they can stay here forever if they want, without anyone telling them what to do or say otherwise, no return home, and now Peter is their leader, he gives them orders.
Vidia: Tinker Bell, haven't you thought everything through? What is going on is more serious. They must return to the mainland as their families are probably worried about them right now, and you should also come home when we finally found you, back home in Pixie Hollow.
Tink: *Groaned* No, Vidia... *Sighed* I can't go back. I told you, they don't want to go home. I can't give back the oath, they need me and live their own lives here and besides, their families will just have them grow up and have them as non-believers like not believing in fairies.
Dr. Martin: Tinker Bell, it doesn't mean we just show up at their homes or take them away, which along with abandoning your friends without saying goodbye to them, is unacceptable.
Lizzy: Tinker Bell, we really needed you at home. We didn't know if you were safe or in danger, and think how depressed and miserable everyone would feel.
Tink: Well, that's their problem. They wouldn't support their belief in fairies, and it's up to the Lost Boys to stay or go home. This place is what they've ever dreamed of. I also made a place here with them.
Lizzy: But what about Periwinkle?
*Tink paused for a moment. Hearing her sister's name gave her more hesitation.*
Tink: *reluctantly and regretfully* She's better off without me and she should accept it.
Fawn: Tink, Periwinkle's your sister, she needs you, just like we all do. You mean everything to us, the other fairies in Pixie Hollow, as well as the animals who reside there.
Silvermist: *pleaded* Tink, Please. Listen to us. We can't live without you. Think of all of the times we had together, and we wished we would still do so, but you ran away from us as we were like your family.
Tink:*she looked at everyone's faces, but she kept her foot down and stood* Well, I'm sorry, Sil. But those days are over. I belong with Peter, and I'm a Lost Fairy Now. *With that, the group felt more hurt than ever. It's like a blow to the stomach, it was part of life that one friend would carry on without them and it'll be unknown if he or she would ever be seen again.* Right now, you all better get outta here before Peter sees you. He wouldn't tolerate anyone intruding his hideout.
Terence: But Tink, I thought we were true friends. And I didn't get to tell you how I truly felt for you.
Tink: So did I, Terence. But things have already changed. *She reluctantly turned her back and folded her arms.* Right now, my mind is already made up. I'm already comfortable right here with Peter and no one will ever get between us. It's over.
*Vidia, feeling as hurt as all the others, frowned and smoldered at Tink, she couldn't believe that she had become this selfish. She then turned sadly to Terence and Lizzy who were both hurt the most.*
Vidia: Come on, Sweetie. Let's go home.
Iridessa: But what about Tink? We can't live without her.
Vidia: Her mind is already made up. She's not coming with us. *She started escorting everyone out.*
Silvermist: But, but Queen Clarion's counting on us.
Clank: And so is Fairy Mary.
Martin: Everybody, she's right. We might as well eccept it. We must carry on and report this news to the fairies. *They then started making their way out of the door, but Lizzy paused and hesitated.*
Lizzy: Wait. *She rushed over to Tinker Bell, who turned to see her face and Lizzy threw herself at her as the two embraced. Tink held her close and gently stroked her hair. Everybody watched with emotion and tears fell in some of their eyes. Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, and Silvermist sobbed a little bit, even covered their tear-soaked eyes, Vidia looked on sadly as she rested herself against Martin who looked at his daughter with the same emotion and lowered his head. Clank and Bobble wiped some tears from their eyes as they tried to stay strong, but feel sad for their friend. Terence also looked at the seen sadly. Lizzy released Tinker Bell and they eyed each other with tears streaming from their eyes.*
Lizzy: *choked* Please take care of yourself, Tinker Bell.
Tink: I will, Lizzy. I will. *She wiped her tears away. She can hear a very loud scream and a rooster crow from a far distance.* You all better get going now. I'll be fine. *She let Lizzy go and sprinkled the chartreuse pixie dust on herself, thus returning to her fairy form. She looked on as Lizzy gave her one more look and gave a simple nod before she exited the door with all the others. Tink felt stuck for a bit, but she might need to find a way to help.*
