It's another upgrade story! Plus, worried Jacoba (as well as other members of the team).

The legalities: I do not own any of the Expendables franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au. Rated M just to be on the safe side.

Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Hope you enjoy!

Prompt: "Do I even want to know what this stuff on the walls is?"

She wasn't exactly sure what she was looking at anymore. Jacoba internally sighed as she shook her head and leaned against the door jam, never taking her eyes off of the sole occupant of the room. This was not really what she'd been expecting, to say the least.

About ten minutes before, Jacoba had been sitting at her desk in the hanger, reading through some potential jobs that Bonaparte had sent to her to review, when she felt the presence of one or more people standing in front of her. Looking up, she saw that she was right, as Mars and Galgo (which was an odd pair in and of itself) standing there. Furrowing her brow, she sat back and raised her eyebrow before asking, "What's up, boys?"

After Mars and Galgo shared a look, Mars turned back to the Amazon. "Umm, you may want to go check on Thorn."

"Why?"

Galgo sighed. "Trust us, Amazonas. You need to check on Thorn."

Jacoba sighed as she rolled her eyes and stood up. "Alright, alright. Where is he?"

"The Hub."

This had led her to where she was now. Shaking her head again, Jacoba stood straight and started towards Thorn. As she did so, she saw something out of the corner of her eyes. Turning her head to face the wall completely, she stopped in her tracks. There were equations and schematics written in some sort of ink (or some other medium) all over the one wall that didn't have shelves or desks on it. Sighing, Jacoba pursed her lips before turning back to face the hacker.

"Thorn, do I even want to know what this stuff on the walls is?"

For what it was worth, Thorn only jumped slightly before he turned towards her with his eyes very wide. "Oh, hey, Jacoba! What are you doing here?"

Jacoba sighed heavily as she walked over and put her hands on his shoulders. "Thorn."

This time, Thorn was the one who was sighing. "I got a bit carried away."

"Still doesn't answer my question. Do I want to know what this stuff on the walls is?"

"No, no you don't. Can we go get something to eat or something, please?"

"Sure, sure. But we are coming back to this later."

"I would be surprised if we didn't. Let's go!"
