"My my, what is a child doing here all on his own?"
During a very stormy and rainy day, a young boy with dull blue hair, dried itching skin, and traumatized red eyes, he could be seen hiding under a random bridge, and only found by a young looking woman with red hair, yellow swirling eyes and a simple yet expressionless smile.
"Where are your parents, did you run away from them?"
And the woman was currently attempting to speak with the young boy, who could only itch his skin in response, which did caused red marks and small amount of blood to leak out.
"... I killed them…"
Though the boy still replied to her, and his answer did interest her.
"Oh? And how did you killed them?"
The woman tilted her head curiously, more curious to learn more about the boy.
"... W-With my Villain Quirk…"
Was all he said about himself and the type of power he had, which was something he believed about himself.
"A Villain Quirk, huh? Very harsh of you to say such a thing."
Again, the woman was interested by the answer she was given by the boy, as she then kneeled down and looked at him even more curiously with her swirling eyes.
"Would you mind showing me it?"
"N-No…"
"No need to be shy, I'm sure it's nothing."
"I-I don't want to."
"Please, for me-"
"I SAID NO!!!"
The woman wanted a demonstration of the type of Quirk that the boy had, which he refused, as he wanted to avoid causing anymore death and harm for anyone, though the woman persistence, and asked again to see his power, which he tried to refuse, as the question started to bother him even more, as horrible memories flooded him mind and caused him to scratch himself even more, however that didn't stop her, as she pressed on and started to pressure even more to reveal his power, which caused him to get frustrated, annoyed and very angry, so much so that he did as he was asked and showed the type of dangerous power he had, specifically showing her by suddenly grabbing her in the face and suddenly disintegrated it nearly instantly by decaying it.
"N-Not again, I-I didn't mean, I-"
This caused the boy to go wide eyes in horror, traumatized even more at what he had done, as he stepped back and teared up again.
"SOMEONE! A HERO! PLEASE! HELP ME!"
The boy couldn't take it anymore, as not even scratching himself helped him calm down, started to scream and yell as loud as he can for help, begging specifically to a Hero, any Hero, however no matter how much he screamed, all he was meant nothing, as no one seemed to even pay attention to his desperation.
"You're too reliant on Heroes."
However, one did hear his call for help, that being none other than the person he just killed, as she was somehow back up and alive, looking back at him with the same cold swirly eyes and smile that he decayed not too long ago.
"B-But, I-"
"That's why I hate this new world that we live in."
The boy was obviously shocked by her sudden revival, however he wasn't given a chance to question it as she started to explain how she hates the type of world she lived in.
"This world has been too complacent, too lazy, fat and spoiled with comfort."
The woman even scoffed and frowned at how much the people have been so, "Careless", to put it simply, and she couldn't accept the way they've been acting about their carefree life.
"Tell me, how many people saw you alone, and did not help you, just because they thought a Hero would save you?"
And what the woman asked the boy next, he couldn't help but slowly realized what she was talking about, as memories once again floods back to his head, only now noticing how much everyone, him included himself, thought everything would be ok, just because Heroes would always be there to fix everything, resulting in everyone doing nothing to actually help him.
"... Everyone I've met…"
Trauma and fear was now slowly turning into pure hate and fury, as he started to scratch himself again, though not because he was scared and stressed, but because it was all he could do to release all these negative emotions he had started building up inside himself.
"Hm, how unfortunate."
The woman lets out a small hum at this sudden change and new development of the boy, slowly standing back up to her feet.
"Let's go."
She then reached out a hand for the boy.
"H-Huh?"
This was definitely enough to snap him out of his rage and look at the woman in surprise, clearly not expecting her to offer a hand to him.
"If a Hero won't come in to save you, then it looks like I would need to take their place and do their job for them."
Though she just simply explained to the boy that she would take the responsibility of saving and helping the young boy, since no one would, hearing such a thing, it was enough to make him tear up and want to cry, though for a different reason this time.
"B-But what if-"
Though despite having someone finally come to save him, a flash of hesitation and fear appeared on his mind, as he was worried that he might hurt her with his Quirk, but then he stopped himself, as he remembered how he used his decaying powers earlier on her, and while he did kill her, she somehow was able to come back to life and act like nothing just happened to her.
"O-Ok, I trust you."
This was enough to not only make him feel safe, but know that she could actually survive being around him, newfound comfort filled his heart and mind, as his shoulders felt less heavy with burden and worries, with no more reasons to hesitate, he wasted no time in grabbing the hand that was given to him, which did started to decay again, however she didn't seem to care and started to walk away, making sure he followed her.
"Since we're well acquainted, mind sharing your name with me?"
As they walked, the woman decided to take this chance to finally get to know the boy she was taking home, starting off with wanting to learn his name.
"... My name is dead now…"
Though it was a question that he didn't want to answer, because he was no longer the same person he was before, someone who loved Heroes and thought the world was still full of hope and justice.
"Is that so, well I guess it's my job to come up with a new name for you, hm?~"
This made the woman giggle softly at such an answer, but since he apparently didn't have a name anymore, she decided to take the responsibility of giving him a new name instead.
"How about, Tomura Shigaraki, doesn't that sound nice?"
And after a bit of thinking, she finally thought of one that felt fitting and gave him his new name.
"Y-Yes, I like that very much."
This made him happy, made Tomura Shigaraki very happy, not only because this will forever define the new person he was now, but because it was a name given by the only person that actually saved him, such warmth and kindness he was receiving, something he's been denied so many time, it was enough to calm his hate and rage, if only for a little while.
"It's very nice to meet you, Tomura.."
She looked back at Tomura Shigaraki, and just gave him a very warm and comforting smile, like how a mother would give her own son.
"I'm Makima, and I hope we get along very well together~..."
I'm combing the world of both MHA and Chainsaw Man, so both Heroes and Devil Hunters exist, both Villains and Devils exist, this will no doubt change a lot of things about the world and characters in them.
(BTW, might as well take the chance to explain how Heroes and Devil Hunters work)
Heroes: Unlike a Devil Hunter, where anyone could just sign up, no matter who they were, being a Hero is a lot more difficult and not as easy to achieve, especially if you have useless or no Quirk at all, but in exchange, if you managed to become a Hero, not only would you receive excellent training, unlike Devil Hunters who are usually self taught, but you would gain fame, money and so many other benefits that Devil Hunters don't usually get.
(And due to many pros that come with being a Hero, people are less willing to even consider joining the Devil Hunters, let alone support or rely on them)
Devil Hunters: Back in the past, Quirks didn't exist, however Devils were still around even before Heroes, which means Devil Hunters was a thing way before that, their main job, as the name applies, was to hunt Devils, but now, since Quirks and Heroes exist now, they are just treated as support, foot soldiers basically, if a Hero was around, they will be forced to treat them as their Boss and listen whatever they have to say, whether or not they are a Pro or Noob Hero, also being a Devil Hunters is usually treated as a place where people with Quirks but failed to become Heroes go, so if a Devil Hunter has a Quirk, they are only allowed to use it against a Devil, or if a Hero was around to tell them how to use their Quirk, only Experienced Devil Hunters are allowed to use their Quirks however they want, also they get paid less in comparison to being a Hero, it's not bad payment, however a Devil Hunter can only afford a normal house, while being a Hero usually buys you a mansion.
(Despite the many Cons, believe it or not, thanks to Devil Hunters still being around, there's not a lot of Villains that exist, since most of the villains would just sign up to become a Devil Hunter instead of committing Crime)
