Primordial Destroyer:
Chapter 2: Primordial Genesis I.
Sleep didn't exist.
Those three words alone struck great horror into Beerus's heart.
He wished it were a joke.
He wished that his current wife, as she'd proclaimed herself as, simply just didn't know of it and that was why she'd been confused when he'd asked why he couldn't go to sleep. And then reaffirmed she really had no idea what he meant, when he'd pressed her on it.
This seemed to be around the beginning of Creation in this place after all so it wouldn't have been too hard to believe, and that had been what he'd reasoned to himself at first.
After however many failed attempts for him to drift off into slumber as he desired to do, and with no luck as not even a hint of drowsiness set in like it absolutely would've by now were he still in his old World, he was forced to accept the harrowing reality for what it was.
One of his three favourite things to do in life – arguably his most beloved – and the one which he'd done the most of by far, was something that at least for now he could no longer do. No matter how much he tried to will it to happen.
That was the kind of revelation that would've sent him into full panic mode, and had definitely set off major alarm bells in his head that this new Universe he'd become a part of was cursed. For a place where sleep did not exist, to him, was a place of pure torture the likes of which he would've never allowed to exist if he had any personal control of it.
A part of him internally lamented this. Cried out in agony over it. Screamed profanities at whatever higher power was responsible for this World's existence that it had made a most horrific mistake, in his mind, of not including sleep from the beginning. A concept that was of the highest importance!
Were he alone, he imagined he'd have lost it by now and thrown a fit over being incapable of slumbering, hamming up enough dramatics to have Whis, were he here, intervene and disable him for his own good before he might try anything stupid in his distressed state.
Luckily for him, he wasn't alone while being forced to deal with such a horrendous truth.
He had Gaea. And right now, she was very much helping him cope with this terrible and inescapable reality as they drifted through the void.
"There, there, husband~." The Goddess cooed tenderly with a glowing smile, hugging him close as she softly held the back of his head while lovingly kneading her fingers into his scalp. Her other hand rubbing his back with gentle strokes, tracing its own slim fingers along his bare skin and flesh in no particular pattern. "I know not what upset you so, but know that I am here for you, as I'm sure you shall be for me."
"Mmrrphm…" Beerus purred in deep pleasure as a response. His mind feeling like mush under Gaea's hands as each motion of her palms and fingers sent blissful waves of sensation through his tingling body. His eyes lidded and fluttering with a lack of focus, back arching with each trace of her hand. His hips giving subtle shakes to her ministrations as she petted him most delightfully.
And all as he shamelessly rubbed and rolled his face into the divine warmth of said Goddess's breasts, which squished all over his intruding features and puffed out and jiggled around his head. Their unparalleled perkiness, springiness and softness making her wide bosom the single most comfortable set of pillows he'd ever had the honour of resting himself on, of plunging himself deeply into, and ensuring he was naturally relaxed as he soaked in and inhaled her scent.
Ohhhhh… I could stay like this forever… The God thought to himself in a great daze, as the initial shock of raw, powerful negativity he'd felt at the personal discovery of sleep's non-existence was muted by his closeness to Gaea. The Goddess he'd only just met, and yet right at this very moment, felt already like an inseparable part of his being.
"Huehue! We can stay like this as long as you like, Beerus~!" She told him with a soft and riveting giggle that sent something aflutter within him. "I do not mind. For embracing you like this feels wonderful for me as well."
"Nnrgh… I'll hold you to that…!" He muttered into her mounds almost dreamily.
"I'm sure you will, husband." She giggled again as she felt his wound arms tighten over her back. "Your thoughts are clear to me even without words. I can feel from how you cling to me that you are not wanting of separation."
Oh, definitely not. She didn't know the half of it!
To let go of her was already something of a foreign concept in his mushy mind. An affront to decency itself, he would go as far as to say.
Sure, his pesky erection ached like a nuisance between their melding bodies as it longed for satiation, but he could easily ignore that.
For the time being anyway. For if there was anyone that he'd be willing to have sex with after an eons-long stretch without it, it'd be her.
There wasn't a doubt in him on that one. For she was his kind of Goddess that ticked all his boxes. The kind that could actually pull such a desire out of his hedonist heart, where otherwise it was absent by his other wants. The ones he had been most known for in his old world, besides his penchant for destruction.
Eat, sleep, fight if he could find a decent enough opponent, repeat.
The last he could probably get out of Gaea like the first, for he could feel an immense power from her, but the thought of striking her left an incredibly sour taste in his mouth.
As for the first, he planned on getting a bounty out of these huge boobs of hers – because he could definitely feel the milk contained and sloshing within them, just waiting to be sampled – at some point.
Maybe around the same time he gave in to his third leg's wishes and – presuming she consented of course, because he was no animal – began giving her what he dubbed the 'Destroyer's Deluxe Experience'.
Which no matter how much Whis had laughed at calling it that millions of years before he'd met Goku and his gang, he would attest was a perfect name.
His previous partner in bed – a good-looking queen with a voice and personality he gravitated toward – would've done the same.
…If he hadn't destroyed her planet and people – including her – before then for poor bedding and several of her closest servants attempting to assassinate him in his sleep on her orders, after they'd done the deed. All ironically to protect their world from him.
Their idiocy was truly a shame. They brought such a fate on themselves though. Without the silly attempt on his life, with their halfway okay food and the good time he'd had with the queen, he'd have probably let their planet off from destruction even with the subpar bedding. At least until he'd woken up from another lengthy nap of his.
"You know I must say, I look forward to introducing you to the others. Doubtless they've noticed your presence since it came into being, so I'm sure they'll make themselves known to you soon. And if not, I shall call out to them. For it wouldn't be right to not at least give you, my husband, a fair greeting." He heard his wife say, sounding rather eager at the prospect.
The former GOD of Universe 7 merely grunted in assent at that.
How many others even were there? Two? An eventual hello to them was fine. Made no difference to him whether he met them or not, so long as he had Gaea. Because she was all that mattered right now within this almost lifeless void. One that he hoped if it didn't have its own real start to life soon to get the ball rolling, would at least bring the concept of sleep into itself for him.
Somehow.
He didn't know how in the hell it would, but it better end up doing it!
"Ahhn..." Beerus suddenly exhaled blissfully with a pleasured shudder passing through him as Gaea's fingers swept through his hair and kneaded his scalp in the most delightful way yet. The action reducing his thoughts to putty in conjunction with how her fingers traced over his spine in a way that made his back arch and quiver for more.
"Hmmhmm. You really make such pleasing sounds, husband~!" the dark-skinned beauty commented with a musical-sounding hum that was like a blessing to Beerus's ears, as she discovered his sweetest spots. "Hearing them from you brings about this feeling in me that I cannot describe, yet want to have more of~!"
And more she got, for her ministrations began stroking at his sweetest spots almost exclusively. And to say that Beerus was becoming a mushy mess at her petting fingertips would be an understatement. The experience only making him more addicted to her, especially while remaining so rooted in the embrace of her bodacious bosom.
He was entirely at her mercy and perfectly okay with that fact.
It had to be said, Beerus didn't think he'd ever felt such a pull towards anyone as he did her right now.
Not even a day he'd known her – not that 'day' or even time itself may exist yet – and already it felt like she was the one to complete him.
Her presence, her cuteness, her voice, her personality, her body, her ministrations, her odour.
It was all the perfect package for him.
Being held by her and taking all of that in – as weird as this sounded coming from him as he was hardly the poetic or romantic type – the joy she brought to what would've been his otherwise troubled soul, it lit up his being like countless, twinkling stars shining across a planet's sky.
Not just in a figurative sense, but also in what felt like a literal sense to him too, as she held him so perfectly…
Yes. Even without the ability to sleep, this felt so –
"Oh my!" Gaea suddenly exclaimed, somewhat jolting Beerus from the stupor he very much wanted to stay in as long as possible, and to his grave chagrin, halting her ministrations. "What are those!?"
What? Those…? The destroyer blinked up at her, as he saw the Goddess staring up above them, her adorably attractive face set into a wide-eyed expression of child-like wonder.
Curiosity getting the better of him, he reluctantly pulled his head away from her pliant pair and followed her gaze up with his own eyes to see for himself what had captivated her attention.
…What the…!? His eyes widened when he saw what "those" were.
Or rather what they looked like at a distance.
Stars.
Not like the ones he knew from his old world. More like shining beacons of heavenly light as opposed to hot balls of gas.
They were just as dazzling though, if not more so. And he felt that more than he saw, as together they lit up the primeval Universe. Their combined light making the dark mists shimmer softly as they were touched by illumination for the first time, and for the briefest of instants exposing another mist beneath their glow that permeated everywhere. One that was clear of any colour and which'd otherwise been invisible beforehand.
This brought with it a significant degree of liveliness to what had been a dark and mostly lifeless-feeling void before. For it was almost as if the mists were alive and taking in the new addition to Existence. Each of them beginning to swirl and dance lightly all around the Universe as if in recognition of the change that'd just occurred to it, now being beneath those heavenly gemstones.
Countless in number they were. Seemingly unending above-head from where they were, stretching on as far as physical eyes could see.
But Beerus felt it. Felt them. All of them. He knew the exact number, as absurdly high as it was. As high as the number of atoms in the average mortal's body back in his old world. A factoid of trivia he only knew because of a random conversation he'd once had with Whis that he'd since forgotten the reason for.
And he knew. He knew from one look alone that they existed because of him, as baffling as that sounded. His heart and soul told him well from one look that he'd bore them into the fabric of existence with how Gaea had made him feel, and now they were all here to stay.
A permanent fixture etched upon his other body. One which now that his gaze was upon it once more, with their help, he could better make out its vague shape despite its impossibly vast dimensions.
A dome.
His other body was a dome that seemed to respond to his better understanding of it – his new nature – by lowering itself.
He could sense it, how it covered Gaea on…
All sides…
With barely another thought, Beerus turned his head down to gaze below at what his other body, for lack of a better term, had him sensing.
And that's when he saw what'd somehow eluded his sight up to now.
A wide-reaching and seemingly endless stretch of flat Earth. One that he could also now sense the great depths it plunged to from top to bottom with his focus on it, spanning down what had to be a distance as great as planet Earth's circumference, if not more.
And that great stretch of Earth was sealed in a way by his starry dome. It was like his other body was the lid to cap off the Earth – which was far more disk-shaped than anything – from the top.
Earth…
Gaea was the Earth.
That realization hit him later than it should've, and with it came another one. One about himself.
If she was Earth, then him being above and 'covering' her like this meant he was…
"The Sky." Gaea muttered in awe. Her eyes – her gorgeous eyes – practically sparkling beatifically as he glanced back up at her and saw her wondering at his other form. "It just came to me now. That word. It fits you so well. You with your beautiful Form I created. With its shining dots brought by you, it now lights up all within Khaos that I inhabit and gladdens me so…!"
Huh? Khaos? Was that what she called the void they were in?
Whatever. Beerus let that detail slip from him and focused on what she'd said before it.
Or rather, the way in which she'd said it.
Hearing her call it his 'Form' in the singular and refer to the dome as what she'd created as opposed to his physical body that she hugged close to her… it triggered something within him.
No. It was more accurate to say it enlightened him on a feeling he'd had already but had failed to accurately place before as his senses almost subconsciously broadened on himself.
He'd been mistaken before.
The dome wasn't another or second body of his… It and the one Gaea was embracing, as absurd as it would've sounded to an outside party and even himself were he not in the position he was in, they were…
They were, in a very literal sense, one and the same. Two sides of the same coin, to use an analogy he'd oft heard before.
Even though it appeared as though they were separate, they were not. They were fully connected as one singular body – or 'Form' to use Gaea's terminology.
It wasn't visible to the naked eye, nor could it be physically interacted with, but this bipedal body of his was tethered to the dome. An extension of it taking the shape of a humanoid for a reason that eluded him, as opposed to remaining purely…
What was the correct term here?
Celestial? Elemental? Primordial?
Beerus didn't quite know what fit best here, but they all sounded like they fit well enough to be used interchangeably.
One thing he did know, was that as he came to this conclusion his very soul itself shone with acknowledgement at his own thoughts.
Acknowledgement of them being the truth.
And another thing was that Gaea was no different, he also realized.
He could detect it now. She too was tethered like he was. Her physical form he was interacting with now being but an extension of the Earth beneath him. One and the same, two sides of the same coin.
That by itself would've been quite the proverbial 'lightbulb switching on' moment, but that wasn't the end of it.
No. There was something else for both of them. Something else about their beings that he hadn't fully deciphered, but it felt like he should've by now.
Whatever it was, it felt familiar, yet different and far more meaningful to his senses at the same time. Like something he'd had before to a degree. Something that intertwined him with her in a way that words could never fully encapsulate.
Agh… What was it?
"Do you have a name for those shiny dots, Beerus?" Gaea asked, cutting through his thoughts like a sword through the air with her sweet and curious-sounding voice. "They are of you, after all."
"Ah…" He made a sound as her question registered, before answering almost automatically. "They're called stars."
"Stars…" The Goddess repeated the word back in nearly a whisper, before her smile somehow brightened with further cuteness. "A wonderful name for them that encapsulates their splendour, husband!"
His immediate response to that was almost 'I mean, I guess?', or a flavour of 'It's nothing special, really.' All with a dismissive air and shrug to something that beyond the shock of how they'd come about, wasn't really impressive in his eyes. Pretty-looking or not. Especially given that they served no utility beyond some illumination of an empty place he could already see anyway without them.
He managed to stop himself from his most natural response though. For in that moment the reborn destroyer saw an opportunity to use this to his advantage.
Far from being the smoothest at this but seizing his chance anyway, Beerus added on, "That it does. And they're all for you."
"Hmm!?" Gaea stared down at him in surprise. "Truly?"
"Yes." Beerus nodded purposefully into her sublimely soft, inviting, comforting and warm cleavage. Enjoying how its jiggly flesh gave way and squished about from the motion better than any pillow of his ever had. "I brought them into being for your pleasure. A show of gratitude for creating and being with me."
It was a half-truth at best. Blatant lie at worst. Pure and simple. But a pretty sentiment that sounded better than he'd made them exist without realizing because of fuzzy feelings she'd given him, which in itself didn't necessarily sound bad in context at all.
Beerus wasn't one for the mushy stuff to any degree. It normally elicited a cringe from him in all honesty, but he'd happily dip his toes into those waters if it really suited him to do so. And right now, in his new wife's bosom, it most certainly did.
Because Gaea clearly believed him with the way she looked at him now, almost teary-eyed at his totally not unintentional gesture.
"Oh Beerus…!" Gaea once more pulled his head close to her chest, and once more fully buried his face into her breasts. An action that Beerus more than enjoyed as they billowed out around his head and bulged around his now hidden features. A purr leaving him that rippled through the supple flesh of her Godly gazongas as he very happily inhaled a point-blank shot of her scent down his lungs.
A certain part of his anatomy also got even more lively as it pressed against her front. Another sign of his pleasure as well as how aroused he was.
"To think you would so quickly offer me such a sight to behold. My gratitude for this is beyond words! I will forever cherish this part of you that you have given me to see!" She exclaimed with the single cutest cry his ears had ever had the grace of hearing.
It was a joyous one that melted his heart so effortlessly that were it not for the effect she'd had on him already, he'd have been utterly shocked at the sensation.
As things stood now though, seeing and feeling her reaction to his stars, an idea formed in Beerus's noggin on how to make this even better. How to really drive this home so her affections – her addictive affections – would become stronger.
The idea was something that he just instinctually knew he could do before even attempting it, on account of those bright little lights being a part of his essence. And with very little effort on his part, which just made it even better.
And so, he focused on them and created an image in his mind. One for his Form to replicate for him visually. All for Gaea's viewing delight.
Beerus couldn't help the smirk that came over his boob-buried face as his Form responded to his will and did as commanded.
"Mmrrmph!... Look up again, Gaea… There's something even more special waiting for you now…!" He spoke into her wobbly flesh. The words muffled but still audible and intelligible enough for the Goddess to hear and understand them, as he refused to move his head away from the spot it was in.
Her 'cushions' made him far too comfortable to even consider doing so of his own will if it wasn't needed.
"Special…?" Gaea tested the word on her tongue in the way someone would if they didn't fully understand something. "Husband, what do you… hngh!?"
The Goddess's coming question was left unfinished with an astonished gasp as she gazed up again like he told her to.
Her eyes saw it right away. A sight impossible to ignore for how grand it was to her inexperienced eyes.
There before her, a good amount of the stars of Beerus's heavenly Form had done something unbelievable to her mind. They'd begun to connect to one another using lines of mesmerizing and noticeable light that somehow made the stars they connected shine ever brighter than the rest around them.
They took a shape for her. An image that, with hardly a moment's gazing at was enough for Gaea to recognize what it was of.
Herself.
Emblazoned upon the starry hide of the Sky was the glimmering portrait of Gaea – her likeness captured upon Heaven's canvas with a stunning level of detail for what made it up.
The star-spangled replication staring down with a bright smile at the real Gaea with 'eyes' made up of what – unbeknownst to her – looked like emerald-green spiral galaxies and 'hair' and 'skin' from what looked like rich-brown nebulae of different shades. All of which shimmered so gorgeously it was impossible to put into words, as they were 'invented' on the spot.
The Goddess's mouth remained open in stunned silence for a beat. Wide and glistening eyes entranced by her own image gazing back at her from her husband's heavenly Form.
"Mmrmmh… I call it a… constellation. The First Constellation." Beerus supplied. The sound of his words vibrating through her bosom as he patiently awaited her delayed response.
"Constellation…?" She ultimately murmured in disbelief, having definitely not expected this. "I-I don't…"
It didn't take a genius to see that she'd been rendered speechless.
Beerus could've just left it at that, but as he felt her grip subconsciously tighten on him, and the warmth of her body against his grow greater, he was emboldened to take it one final step further. Just to cement what he wanted from his wife.
To that effort, he quickly wracked his brain for something to say, something that sounded romantic and mushy – which he was terrible at and usually didn't bother with on the occasions someone caught his fancy. But in this scenario, he felt it was necessary to get the most desired outcome for himself.
Coming up with nothing original fast since he wasn't the kind of guy who engaged in proper romance by any stretch, his memories soon kicked up something he'd heard long ago in response to his plight.
Upon recalling it, he almost instantly cringed but managed to keep himself reined in. Mostly because of Gaea's presence, but still.
Unable to think up anything else, he mentally said screw it and channelled forth the sappiest shit he'd ever heard from a hopeless romantic to an alien princess as vain as the number of planets in a galaxy with a painted portrait.
It was something that at the time made him shudder with displeasure when he'd heard it himself, almost nuking the planet on the spot for disgracing his ears with its pretentiousness, but which had ended up winning the girl over with great fanfare.
And which, unlike in that case, actually held true here in context as far as he was concerned.
Well, a lot truer than when he'd heard it anyway. Which made repeating it easier for him.
Even when a part of him told himself to leave it be and destroy it from his mind like he'd ultimately destroyed the world those two inhabited for some of the worst-tasting food he'd ever had.
"Another gift for the most beautiful Goddess. This I humbly make for you, whose enchanting visage could never truly be replicated. For she is already perfect in every way, transcendent in every measure. Sublime in every sense. Her every breath a gift, her every smile a treasure, her every thought and emotion to be cherished, for her presence is divine, her person worthy of worship before my begging eyes."
The words were spoken with as much passion as Beerus could muster, even in the face of a part of him cringing at himself for daring to regurgitate this 'poetic' drivel. The kind he'd have never come up with himself for numerous reasons. He'd have gagged before doing so, even without the relentless teasing he knew would follow from Whis.
And heavens forbid he sung this in verse, dragging out the words as if he was in an opera house with a deep enough bellow to shatter glass like the original composer. He was no damn bard, after all. His own ears would probably try to separate and flee from him if he did, and he wouldn't blame them.
He'd given the singing crap a go once. And only because Lord Zeno, for whatever damned reason, had wanted all the GODs to sing for him.
Never again if he could help it. Only the threat of total erasure by Lord Zeno could make him reconsider.
Regardless of his refusal to go to that length though, his passionate words had the intended effect he was hoping for.
He felt the thump of Gaea's holy heart against his ear, and could practically sense the beaming of her spirit as she clutched his head even deeper into her pillowy mounds of Nirvana.
"B-Beerus…?" She stuttered so cutely he almost faltered there and then as he saw the gold-hued blush of her cheeks and the adorable expression of amazement.
And he used that visual to motivate himself to soldier on to the end for the prize that awaited.
"You are the reason I exist and draw breath, for I was born to please and this I know. I am but one who is blessed to be. Blessed to be with you now. For you are the eye of my deepest affection, the sole owner of my beating heart, the eternal keeper of my shining spirit! The centre of my world with which I could not bear to live without, and which I long to remain beside forevermore. For as I give this gift unto you, I know that you are the greatest gift unto me."
He finished somewhat softly for himself, but with as much emphasis as he could push out. All as he met Gaea's gaze and didn't blink even once, nor did he pull a face at himself.
Not even when it occurred to him that he may've just also invented the concept of poetry in this world, specifically the romantic kind.
If so, nobody he knew from his old life – Whis in particular, though Champa was a close second – was here to witness it and make any remarks or give irritating looks at his expense. And that alone made such a thought bearable for him.
What made it far more than bearable though was the reaction of Gaea following his conclusion.
She had the look of a woman who was ready to cry, which might've been cause for concern if not for the wobbling smile that he saw beginning to form on her lips.
"Oh, husband!" She cried, clearly overwhelmed as she hugged his head closer than ever to her heart, submerging his face the furthest yet in her mushrooming masses of divine flesh. "Your words and acts… they leave me with this… this feeling that I know not how to describe! But it is one that fills and shakes my very being in ways I… I had not… Hmmmrmh!"
The Goddess gave up on attempting to express herself with words rather swiftly in what sounded like a girly squeal at the end. The kind that had Beerus's blood pulsing harder and the stars of his dome twinkling indiscriminately to his mood.
At the same time, he also sensed Gaea's Earth below shaking with her mood as well. Its vibrations felt against the edges of his Elemental Form. And as it did, something magical happened which sent a profound, substantial shock through both of them as their humanoid manifestations and cosmic bodies simultaneously interacted with closeness.
It was as if they were bonding together as one. A connection that went well beyond merely the physical. Pushing deeply into the spiritual and perhaps even further beyond, right into the pit of the realm of the abstract itself.
The sensation was unlike anything Beerus had felt up to then, and his eyes damn near rolled back as he fast approached his limit.
The limit on how much he could take before losing all restraint.
And it appeared he might not be alone in that camp, for he could feel the air around Gaea changing and saw a glint enter her eyes as she held him closer than ever.
It may've been eons since his last foray, but Beerus was still sharp enough to catch the signs that she was more than ready to go beyond mere cuddling like this, as beloved as it was by him. To reach right into much more carnal activity.
And he was all for it. His heart, mind, soul and Godhood all in lockstep.
But that was when the unexpected occurred.
Beerus hardly had the time to bask in his wife's heightened warmth and prepare himself for his first coupling in a long time before he sensed a shift occur around himself and Gaea.
And then, a feminine voice that was definitely not Gaea's spoke out.
"Interesting… It would appear that you have made quite the partner for yourself, Gaea."
Beerus went stiff and felt a rumble in his very being at the entity's speech. His eyes going wide in surprise when his senses suddenly went haywire.
The new voice sounded quite regal and ancient. It was also warped as though reality itself was struggling to comprehend it, resounding from everywhere at once and making everything around them ring with every syllable uttered.
With the new voice also came an unfathomable presence that surrounded Beerus from every angle. One that he somehow hadn't detected before but felt it full force now like a cosmic event going off in his face. One that touched both his body and soul and sent a mighty tingle through both.
And one so great that one simple fact became clear immediately.
The entity was powerful. So powerful in fact that he was almost pulled away from Gaea as he immediately went on-guard instinctively.
An occurrence that'd very rarely happened in his old life.
"O my apologies, Husband of Earth and Creation. It would appear I've started you. Forgive mine intrusion as well, for I know of what your intent is and have foreseen already what shall become of it. Something which I do not seek to stop, given the importance of it, but with the actions you've taken and change I know your presence shall bring, I felt compelled to better acquaint myself with you first before you proceed."
Everything around both himself and Gaea twisted then at the entity's words. The mists that made up this primeval place coiling and swirling wildly at every angle, as what constituted for space began to ripple all around.
And with those ripples, Beerus felt both his manifested human form and dome Form simultaneously vibrate intensely, and Gaea was much the same.
Something was approaching. Something that most mortal minds, and even a number of divine ones from his old reality, wouldn't have been able to mentally or even spiritually grasp.
No, wait. The 'approaching' part wasn't accurate. Approaching implied they were elsewhere and coming toward them from a certain place.
This entity felt like it was everywhere and nowhere at the same time to his bamboozled senses. A literal contradiction that broke logic down to its most fundamental core and then laughed in its face. One that shouldn't be, and yet was.
One that had always been, and had never been not. Something which even invoking the term eternal for felt like a downplay.
It was only then that it finally clicked for Beerus and he mentally understood what was speaking to him and Gaea, no matter how ludicrous the realization felt.
The entity, the voice, the presence…
It was the only thing that 'existed' before both Creation and Destruction allowed for anything else to be.
It was… what one went to when totally Erased by Lord Zeno or utterly destroyed by a Destroyer in mind, body and soul. And only from the mercy of the former or the power of the Grand Priest, both of whom far exceeded everyone else, could one be brought back from.
True Nothingness – the Primeval Void itself.
Whilst Beerus was left gobsmacked and defensive at the sentient Void however, Gaea's features lit up at the voice's words alongside initial surprise. Her expression only becoming happier to contrast with his astonishment as she replied back cheerily to the entity.
And with a response that made Beerus's mind instantly jam to a halt.
"Ah! Sister Khaos! I had begun to wonder when you might speak again!"
AND CUT!
Welp, finally back with this one, lads! Know it's been a while for it but we're finally continuing it.
Sufficed to say, I hope you all got some enjoyment out of this one and buckle in, because we're following this up in early May with chapter 3, and then a little after for 4, and trust me, you're not gonna want to miss that one. Things are gonna be pretty wild in it, let me tell you!
