Author Notes: Hi, I know it's been a while. Firstly, I would like to apologise for the long delay, I've been so busy with my final year of school, but it's almost finished now. In the last week or so, I've found it quite therapeutic to write, so as my exams are starting, I am starting this story (and will finish after exams)

Secondly, a couple of people have messaged me about continuing my first story, Cheated, and I do plan to, but have major writers block, so am still figuring out how to continue.

I've uploaded the first few chapters of this new crossover, and am quite excited about it, so please let me know if you spot any issues, or what you think - feedback from readers really is the best way of improving.

So, enjoy…

Prologue

20 years ago, after getting married, King Adam Beast and Queen Belle founded the United States of Auradon, or just Auradon for short. They united the dozens of Kingdoms in the land under one rule, so everyone could get their happily ever after.

One problem, however, still remained – villains. Each story had a villain, from the Evil Queen to Gaston, Captain Hook to Hades, and worst of them all, Maleficent. Having heard of Adam and Belle's plan to banish the villains to the Isle of the Lost, Maleficent rallied together all the villains in the land to fight back, and take Auradon for themselves.

The battle lasted several months, and hundreds died at the hands of the villains, but eventually, the heroes discovered Maleficent's hideout. In one last act of evil, Maleficent cast the zombie curse, spreading a thick, green mist across Auradon, and infecting hundreds of innocent people. The curse transformed them into undead, mindless zombies, who were controlled by Maleficent herself. She used the zombies to fight the soldiers of Auradon, but ultimately good prevailed, and Maleficent, along with all the other villains, zombies, and all supernatural creatures that sided with her, were banished to the Isle of the Lost.

Fairy Godmother cast a protective barrier around the Isle, blocking all magic to be used from inside, stranding the villains with no form of escape. Without her magic, Maleficent could no longer control the zombies, so they instead returned to normal consciousness, and were able to live relatively normal lives on the Isle, but were forbidden to return to Auradon in case Maleficent took control of them once again.

For 20 long years, Maleficent and the other villains remained on the Isle in exile, plotting and scheming for the day they would return, and have revenge on the people of Auradon. And that day was almost here.

Ben stood as the seamstress took measurements of him, watching out of the window at the Isle of the Lost. The dark, stormy cloud above it growled with thunder, as Ben couldn't help but wonder what it was truly like there. It's time for change, he thought, as his parents walked into the room.

"I can't believe my son is going to be King," Belle said, holding back a sob.

"At 16 no less," Adam added, with an equally proud but slightly nervous tone. "I feel like I didn't make a single good decision until I was 42."

"You married me at 28 Adam," Belle scolded.

"I said what I said," Adam chuckled, earning a light slap on the arm from his wife.

"Anyways," Ben said, drawing the attention of the room back to himself. "I've decided what my first proclamation as King will be. I've thought long and hard about what kind of King I want to be. I wish to be remembered as a kind, thoughtful and fair ruler. And being a fair ruler means giving everyone in the kingdom a fair chance," he continued, looking back at the the Isle. "I am going to bring the children of the villains, along with all the mythical creatures who were banished to the Isle back to Auradon."

"WHAT?!", Adam roared, causing everyone else except Ben and his mother to scurry from the room. "Are you trying to kill us all?!"

"They deserve a chance to live like us, Dad!", Ben shouted back.

"Ben, those people were put on the Isle for a reason," Belle added, in a much calmer tone. "It's for our safety. We can't have villains running around freely"

"But their children are innocent!", Ben countered. "They live their lives inside a prison for the crimes of their parents! And what of the Zombies? They were just in the wrong place at the wrong time!"

"If you do this, you won't be remembered as the fair King. You'll be remembered as the stupid, naive King who doomed us all!", Adam growled.

"Better than being the tyrant, Beast King, who imprisoned a bunch of innocents!", Ben yelled.

"You wash you're mouth out, boy!", Adam shouted back at his son. "I've given you everything! A castle to live in, food off our table, the best education in Auradon. Hell, I'm even giving you my damn crown! And this is how you repay me! By calling me a tyrant, and dooming my people!"

"Ben, even if your father agreed, something of this scale would need council approval. And I can't ever seeing that happen. It's a nice idea, but it's just not possible," Belle said.

"I know that, Mom," Ben sighed. "Something like this takes time. That's why we start small. I've selected six individuals to be brought over, and they can start Auradon Prep at the start of this year. Eventually, we would bring more over in phases, until everyone is given a shot."

Adam and Belle stood silently for a moment, looking into each others eyes and contemplating their son's proclamation. "So, what do you think?", Belle asked her husband. "It's hardly like 6 kids are able to take over all of Auradon."

Adam growled under his breath before replying, "Fine. But when this thing goes south, and mark my words it will, you take back this ridiculous proclamation, and do things by the book."

Ben couldn't help but feel a grin grow across his face. "But when this program is a huge success, you have to admit that you were wrong, and apologise to these kids for leaving them on the Isle."

"So who are the six you selected?", Belle asked, cutting the growing tension between her husband and son.

"There wasn't really much to go on," Ben said, grabbing the clipboard he was using earlier from the desk. "But I chose two zombies, called Zed Necrodopolis and Eliza Zambi, a werewolf called Wynter Barkowitz, and three villain's children: Jay, son of Jafar, Evelyn Grimhilde, daughter of the Evil Queen, and finally… Mal, daughter of Maleficent the Evil."

"You can't bring Maleficent's daughter to Auradon!", Adam shrieked. "Maleficent was the worst of them all! Who knows what her daughter would be capable of!"

"Exactly!", Ben said. "Maleficent is the evilest of the evil. If I can prove that even her daughter can be good, that's got to be enough evidence for the council to allow more kids over. And I'm not sure why, but I have a good feeing about her."

"Are we really going to allow him to do this?!", Adam asked his wife.

"Honey, he is going to be King in a month's time. We need to learn to trust his instincts," Belle replied before turning back to Ben. "Ben, you have our full support. Send out the invitations."
