Aragon yelled, "NO! You're destroying me! I put my core in that amulet! Please don't kill me!", and all eyes widen as they heard him, and Dora growled, "What do you mean you put your core in there? Are you lying to me, traitor?".

"No!", Aragon shouted. "I transferred my core to the amulet, just in case of the event of my body should anything happen to it, be destroyed. At least that way, I could still continue my spiritual existence. I used some of your dragon magic from your own amulet, Dorathea, as a way to better protect the transfer. It was a way of also weakening you to make sure you could never rise up to me.", he explained as everyone looked to Dora.

Val was honestly tempted to keep going; letting him continue to exist even as a ghost was just too much for a vile being like him.

"Your choice, Dora.", Dani said. "I will be the first to admit though, letting him go while keeping his amulet, it might come back to bite us down the road. Last thing any of us, I think, want, is his revenge and him actually having the power to achieve it.".

Dora was silent, tears of angst and horror and such in her eyes as she felt violated, as her dragon magic is part of her, and she loved being a dragon…to think he did it for all those sixteen hundred years…Dani was right…She wanted her kingdom to be free, to be happy, to be themselves, to see the castle gleam better than before, with flourishing nature to the land around it.

She exhaled deeply, "Sam, would you please have Danny take you to…somewhere else farther, to how you got here? I do not wish to have a young child witness this. I, as princess of this kingdom, must put an end to Aragon's reign permanently, and Dani and Valerie, you decide if you want to stay here and support me, or leave with Sam and Danny.".

"Sure. Come on, Danny.", Sam took his hand as he looked back. "We won't see him again?", Danny asked as Sam nodded. "Yeah, we won't see him again. Dora will make sure of it.".

Danny gave a small nod in response to Sam's words as the two of them left. Meanwhile, Dani and Valerie stayed put, though Val made sure to hand Dora the rock. Aragon growled as he stared them down.

"You don't have the guts, sister… you never did.", Aragon sneered; he knew now it was either him escaping with his afterlife or her condemning him to either damnation or nothingness. If they let him live though, how he had plans to make a comeback. Perhaps it would take centuries of planning, but he would return and take back what was rightfully his.

Dani pinned him even stronger, as Dora turned over to face him, with Val petting her dragon leg that's standing while she's holding the rock in her other claw.

Dora stared him down, "Did you ever even consider regretting what you did and said? To me, this kingdom, everything, the halfas, and Valerie?".

"Never.", Aragon growled. Dora closed her eyes and shook her head. "You always were so hateful, brother, even when we were alive, even as children. Perhaps some of that had to do with Father and how Mother did nothing about it in the short time she was with us.", she sighed.

"Rotten to the core from the start practically. You can't do much about that, I'm afraid, Dora.", Valerie told her. Dora nodded, "I know…May Mother and Father understand why I had to do this. Goodbye, brother. Let this be quick as I don't even want to hear your pleas.", opening her eyes, and breathed fire on the rock, creating it to be hot, and Aragon widened his eyes, "NO!".

Dora then aimed the stone hard at the amulet with all the force of her dragon strength, and suddenly, the amulet finally shattered, revealing a white core which is breaking and disappearing fast, and Aragon writhed in pain, shouting, "No, no, this can't be the end of me!", as he can't move, as Dani got off him, dusting off her suit with disgust, and they saw his body vanishing with every break of the core.

They watched as he continued to fade until there was nothing left. It somewhat reminded them of that infamous time travel movie from the mid '80s. After a few moments, the trio took a deep breath as Dani looked to Dora.

"I understand that must have been very difficult to do.", Dani said as Dora nodded. "It was probably something that had to be done; the damage he could've caused. Sixteen hundred years of this place was not enough for him; he desired all of the Ghost Zone.", Dora sighed. "It's done now though.".

"Will you be alright?", Val asked as Dora gave another small nod. "I will need some time, but the rule falls to me, even if we're all dead.", she gave a small, grim chuckle.

Dani replied, "Well, don't you need to get started on getting rid of those fires and bring the sun back, and take this place out of the Dark Ages?", with a smile.

Dora looked up with a small smile, glancing at the castle, seeing the people, realizing that they had seen it all, and exhaled, "Right. It's time for a new beginning, even if we need some time.", before flying off to extinguish the flames with her fire that Aragon had done to the land, the trees, and the castle, and then to destroy the dark clouds that has been overhead for the last 16 hundred years, revealing the sun and some fluffy clouds, hearing the people murmur in amazement before cheering for Dora, "Long Live Princess Dorathea! Long Live Princess Dora!", in awe and basking in the long-awaited warmth of the sun in the kingdom, even with the distant background of the Ghost Zone over the gates of the kingdom.

Dora landed on the highest turret, and roared a deep, triumphant roar, officially claiming the kingdom, and spreading the news to the Ghost Zone, looking even better and glorious in the sunlight than in the darkness.

"Shall we go?", Valerie asked Dani. "We probably need to hurry back before folks really start to ask questions. Or worse, your parents get involved.".

"Oh, yeah! I almost forgot about the school!", Dani realized before she grabbed Val's hand. "And of course...", she blushed.

"Tomorrow; sometime tomorrow, we have to talk.", Val smiled as Dani felt her heart fluttering at the thought. Dani smiled with a blush, "Yeah...", and Dani then took up Val to fly, heading to the Specter Speeder, which is humming and ready to go. "Hey, it's not scratched up anymore!".

Sidney smiled, "You pick up a few tricks for cars that got kinked back then. Figured the Speeder is like a car, so, it's better. Of course, it's not shiny or anything, but...".

Dani replied, "It's perfect, Sid! Now, our folks wouldn't really notice that anything's off if they do, really.", and Danny nodded, "Yeah!", as Sidney blushed a bit, surprised at being praised.

Then a roar sounded out, and Dora came around, landing, changing back to ghost form, and hugged Dani and Val, "Thank you! I promise I'll come around sometime to visit, but like I said before, I need some time.".

Val chuckled, "Yeah, we'd like that. Heck, we could introduce you to awesome movies and all. Make it an adventure!", and Dora smiled widely, "I'd really love that, Valerie...And Dani, thank you so much for being involved, and you know what, I think some of the ghosts will respect you now, perhaps giving you a deserved break for a while.".

Dani exhaled, "That'd be great, and you're welcome, Dora. It's great to have a new friend. And I forgive you for everything, it wasn't your fault, it was his. Okay?", and Dora smiled happily, "I needed to hear that, thank you. And you, Danny, you were brilliant, young brave one.".

Danny blinked, "Really?!", and Dora nodded, "Oh, yes. If you were here, you'd make a great squire, and of course, eventually knight like your sister.". Danny smiled, "Gee, thanks, Dora! Ooh, are we invited for your party like the year anniversary of your reign or something?".

Dani scolded, "Daniel, do not rush Dora's time like that!", and Dora shook her head, "No, it's okay, Dani. Danny, of course you all are invited, and this time, no forced dressing or anything.", with a smile.

"Cool!", Danny grinned, and Dora chuckled before glancing at Sam, "Thank you for being a voice for me, Sam. I guess I needed a kick in the butt...literally.", and Sam chuckled, "Well, not a kick in the butt, but yeah, I get what you're saying, and you're welcome. It was all you, your choice, your heart. I just helped it along.".

Dora smiled, "I know...And if I wasn't straight, I might consider courting you as you are a fine, strong, beautiful woman, but unfortunately, I am not your type, with being a carnivore and all.", and Sam smiled, "Ah, it's the thought that counts...But thank you, Dora.", with a bit of a blush before smiling and gesturing to Sidney, "Oh, have you met Sidney? He did a fabulous job leading us here, and if it wasn't for him, we would probably have been lost or in trouble if he hadn't warned us and all.".

Sidney widened his eyes as he blushed, stammering, "It wasn't no big deal, really.", rubbing the back of his head, realizing that he's literally talking to a princess, the new ruler of this kingdom corner of the Ghost Zone.

"I wouldn't think so..." Dora smiled. "If not for your guidance, they might never have found this place.". None of the others that traveled with him were going to mention the radar in the Speeder that picked up Valerie on their way to the castle.

Sidney's blush grew redder as Sam patted him on the back, "Heh, probably never imagined in your life or afterlife that you'd be complimented by a princess, eh?".

Sidney smiled nervously, "No...Umm, Dora...Would...would you like to come to the Christmas Truce party?", and Dora widened her eyes in surprise and joy, "Really?! I was never able to come at all before!".

"Yeah...If it's...it's okay with you, I don't suppose if you don't mind me giving you a tour of the feast and all at the party.", Sidney chuckled nervously, and Dora smiled, "I'd love that! Wow, I never imagined that I could have many friends. Well, I'll see you around, Sidney. Goodbye, everyone!", before patting Sidney's shoulder, and went dragon, heading back to the castle.

Sidney sighed dreamily with a smile, and Sam chuckled, "Come on, loverboy, help us backtrack the way back home.", and Sidney blinked, "Oh, yeah, right, let's get you guys home!".

And so, they packed into the Speeder, taking off, with Val commenting to Dani, "Maybe ask your dad to update this, I mean, make him think that there would be a day where the Fenton Family together goes into the Ghost Zone.".

"We'll think of something.", Dani said as she took a deep breath. "Boy, Sam, you certainly catch some eyes sometimes...", she teased as Sam rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, well, how about Sidney here?", Sam chuckled. "If I didn't know any better, you got a chance to snag a princess.", with a smirk. "Oh, golly...", Sidney gulped as he was almost short circuiting with nervousness as the group flew back towards the Fenton Portal.

Danny giggled, "Face it, Sid, you're lucky! I mean, the other kids you hang out in that ghost school of your domain never met or made friends with a princess! You're an awesome nerd!".

Sidney blinked before smiling, "I never thought of it like that before...That's actually...gee whiz, maybe I could at least get the pimples gone for good...maybe a bit of braces...".

"Wait, you could age?", Dani asked, and Sidney replied, "Well, it's a bit... mysterious, there are rumors that those of us who break our final confines and can encroach on the land of the living, we could age according to our needs if we want to. It's not a tested science. And before you ask, Dani, I don't truly know everything, the Ghost Zone is not exactly like your world, being magical, mysterious, and what was that modern word you mentioned, oh, yeah, awesome.".

"I swear, sometimes I wish we could come clean with Mommy and Daddy.", Danny spoke up. "Be able to tell them so many things about the ghosts and all; they'd actually listen and be more... understanding.".

"Oh, right, as opposed to those pseudo-fascist Guys in White.", Sam pointed out. Their end goal was carrying out secret government orders to exterminate any and all supernatural events and entities.

"Don't remind me...", Dani groaned as Sam glanced back to Sidney. "So, Sid, you might decide to age yourself, like you were mentioning. Thinking a princess like her deserves a more stud of a man?", Sam teased as Sidney went red-faced again.

Val replied with a smirk, "Stop it, Sam, you gotta stop making this poor boy blush so much or he will be that way forever!", and Sam chuckled, "Sorry. Can't help it.".

Dani glanced at Sidney, "Hey, you will do fine, Sid. Dora is a great woman, and she couldn't care very much about looks...I mean, she changes into a dragon, and nerds love dragons, right?", with a chuckle.

"Um, well… I…", Sidney tugged at his collar. The whole nerds with fantasy and dragons weren't as prevalent in the 50s as it was a decade or two later.

"Okay, okay, we'll let off.", Val chuckled before the group reached the portal. Sidney parted ways and returned to his ghostly domain while Sam and Dani rushed Valerie into the bathroom to try and quickly clean her up.

"Alright, so just to get the story straight, Dora, with a few fancy magic tricks, took you away as a bit of a precaution just in case some of the other girls got a bit… catty.", Dani advised. "And then she was called away to something important, so we'll be on our own mostly with the guys and their talent show. Considering everything, I don't know anyone who won't truly buy that.".

"It's a bit disturbing how oblivious this town can be to supernatural events.", Sam said. Val snorted, "That's the understatement of the century. Still, we better hurry and get this talent show done and get a really good night's sleep. I've had enough about being stressed and worried for you, Dani.".

Dani made a smile, blushing, "I agree. Anyway, you're good?", and Val nodded, "Yeah…through I admit I missed my banging dress…before Aragon destroyed it. It's so weird that the jocks and others take such oblivious, clueless looks about my change of dress, but still, this is awful even for me with this different dress…".

Then Dani gasped as her breath appeared, and Val commented, "Not again.", before a ghostly handmaiden appeared with a smile, holding a wrapped bundle, and Val gasped, "My dress! How did…I thought Aragon ordered it destroyed…".

The handmaiden replied, "Verily. But Princess Dora had secretly ordered us to keep it safe when back in the dressing room. She had forgotten to give it back to you, so here…".

"Thanks.", Dani nodded as she handed the dress over to Valerie before she returned to the Ghost Zone. "Talk about convenience.". Val was starting to tear up as Dani smiled.

"It looks wonderful on you, Valerie…", Dani whispered as they glanced over to Sam as she smiled and stood up, "I suppose we have a few minutes before people get truly concerned… I'll wait outside…"

Dani replied, "Um, right. I better join Sam too…At least Danny is getting tired.", and Val smiled, "Right, you better check if your folks are almost done with their date night, so Danny won't be alone, but at least I'll have both of my best friends support me and laugh about the boys on their talent show."

Dani nodded as Sam chuckled, "Sounds good to me.", and so they headed to settle the night with that plan while Val happily went to change back into her well-earned beloved dress.

Valerie came out, now looking no different from the moment that Dora had taken her. "How do I look?", Valerie asked as Sam smiled, "Like you never had been abducted by some ghostly prince who wanted to marry you.", she teased as Val rolled her eyes before looking to Dani.

"Dani?", Val asked. "Beautiful…", Dani spoke as Val went a bit red-faced hearing that. "Sorry, I just…", Dami sheepishly blushed with a chuckle.

"Come on you two, I know how much you want to talk but let's wait until the heat dies down first before doing that.", Sam insisted.

Dani and Val blushed, and they agreed to Sam's words, and so, after making sure Danny's asleep, with her parents coming back from their date night, and they headed back to the high school via ghost flight.

So, again, like usual, the other teenagers and Lancer and all took to the complacent yet pathetic excuse, and the talent show was rather meh with a couple good ones here and there.

Valerie found a winner out of it all, and after that, they got some burgers at the Nasty Burger just for needed comfort food, and after hugs, and grabbing their scooters, they split up, heading to their homes to get much needed sleep, especially Sam and Dani.
