YRNFS Solvernia VII

Guest Quarters

"My reactor has been breached, reme-"

"Tell my wife that-I"

"For the Emperor!"

"We'll hold them back here. Just get the Bastion through!"

"GTVA Command to all Allied Units, the Capella Main Star is going Supernova! EVACUATE THROUGH THE VEGA JUMP NODE IMEADATLY!"

With a jolt Wolf's eyes snapped wide open. He was breathing heavily and his body was covered in a cold sweat. The Terran stared upwards at an unfamiliar ceiling, confused at first his mind slowly filling out the blanks of what happened over the last day.

Capella, the United Aurora Federation, the Permaisuri, Admiral Solvernia, Lt. Thompson, New Aurora, 66th Galm Squadron, New November City, Empress, SJ Sathanas 17

Wolf calmed his breathing down, his view slowly shifted downward to his own body seeing that he was wearing unfamiliar clothing. Right, the Aurorans provided him with some sets of civilian clothes while they are cleaning his flight suit and the clothes he wore beneath it.

Looking to a small clock on the bedside table on his left side the Pilot could see that it was around 1400 Auroran Standard Time in the day. He went to bed directly after taking a shower at around, if he remembers correctly, 0025 AST in the early morning. Had he really slept for over 13 hours?!

The Terran brought his right hand up to his forehead feeling the wetness from his sweat. Oh well he whould have used the shower again anyway.

Wolf looked over to his right side seeing the bed cover he most likely has thrown off while turning about during the nightmare he had while sleeping.

Time to get up, he has been lying around for way too long.

Slowly Wolf sat up in the bed before turning left and bringing his in socks covered feet on the relative warm floor.

Standing up Wolf looked around the Room, this guest room he was given on the YRNFS Solvernia VII was quite generous, truly a night and day difference to his rather spartan personal quarters on the GTD Aquitaine. The only quarters he had lived in that he could compare to the room he was now standing inside where both on the GVD Psamtik and GVD Memphis. Understandably as the Vasudan species mainly focuses their society on scholarship, artistic skills and prophecy rather than warfare. The poor performance of the GVSG Edjo automated sentry gun being a rather good example of this.

Only it was much warmer in the quarters the Vasudans provided him with, only natural with the Vasudans preferring hotter climates as their species hailed from Vasuda Prime a desert world.

The Room was outfitted with the bed he slept in situated at the left wall, a office table and wardrobe on the right wall. He could see that the office table had on it placed a Auroran computer interface that has a holographic keyboard with an holographic display showing the symbol of the United Aurora Federation. There was also a rather luxurious looking couch and several smaller articles of furniture strewn about the room.

A large window showed the outside with New Aurora's surface far below. From what he could see the YRNFS Solvernia VII has positioned itself now directly above New November City which was clearly visible from orbit. Interestingly thanks to it being day on the Surface he could see that the sprawling City was located near a coastline of the continent.

It wasn't a surprise for the Terran after the attempt by the Shivans that Admiral Solvernia placed the Fleet directly over their capital. In the distance Wolf could see also some sort of large space station, perhaps some sort of trading or defensive station like the Galactic Terran Installations of the Arcadia Class.

Around one million people live down there, he could remember Captain Tokemi Galm 1 inform him. Most likely these people don't know how close they came to being wiped off the face of the Universe.

What Empress did was clearly impressive.

The Terran breathed a sign before turning towards the rooms entrance. Next to the bulkhead on the floor he spotted a pair of clothes lying that looked familiar to him. Walking over and picking them up the pilot could see that it were his underwear and his issued gray shirt, gray pants and black socks. There was also a pair of Auroran military boots in black. With a small smile Wolf grabbed his clothes plus boots and walked over to another bulkhead that lead to a small bathroom attached to the quarter.

The bathroom was small with basically only a sink, mirror, toilet and a shower.

Wolf placed his clothes on the sink and the boots on the floor in front of it. Once being ready the Terran grabbed a shampoo with a label calling itself Favonius Vanilla scent with a small written under label calling it the Queens favorite and a small doodle of her face giving a wink. They really love their Queen could the Terran think.

Taking off his clothes Wolf went into the shower while using the shampoo.

Once he finished he stepped out and used a towel to dry himself off. Staring into the mirror Wolf looked himself over. His body while not having the stature of an bodybuilder was still defined in an athletic build. A build he needed to work hard to archive and maintain as it is a requirement when you want to be a Fighter Pilot.

While looking himself over the Terran noticed his rather messy three or now four day beard, running with his fingers of his right hand over it Wolf mused that he really should get a shave. Problem being that his personal shaving utensils and belongings are in another dimension hopefully still on the GTD Aquitaine. He should really get to writing a report and send a message through the interdimensional subspace corridor connecting former Capella with the Aoi System. Hopefully the GTVA has not collapsed the Capella-Vega subspace corridor and they find a way to at least send his belongings via a programmed freight drone with a subspace drive over.

Yes, small subspace drives are expensive as hell, but they will definitely do this when they can get in contact with the UAF.

With a goal in mind, Wolf started to put his clothing on, when he put his feet in the by the Aurorans provided boots he noticed that they where at least one number too large.

Better too large than too small.

Rolling his eyes the Lieutenant Commander finished and walked out of the bathroom.

After a quick glance around the Pilot decided to leave the room and see if he can speak to Admiral Solvernia so he can get to work on the most weirdest report made by a Terran ever.

When he walked through the automatic bulkhead he spotted a Neuko Automata standing on the opposite side of the corridor in front of his provided guest room.

This Neuko while looking exactly like the ones he met before was not carrying a rifle, instead the Neuko wore a rather lavishly styled Dress.

The Neuko stepped towards him.

"Greetings, Wolf Lt. Commander. This platform is Guide-type Neuko Automata designation Unit 046134. It is this platforms objective to provide Wolf Lt. Commander with guidance around the YRNFS Solvernia VII to places that he is allowed to enter. The places that are available are mess deck, port-side Fighter Hangar, rec room, barber shop, gym and sickbay. Where wishes Wolf Lt. Commander to go?" asked the Automata in a friendly tone, a far call from the emotionless Guard-type Neuko he had the pleasure of walking with.

Wolf will definitely not go to the sickbay in the next couple of days.

"I wish to speak with Admiral Solvernia, she promised me to inform me about the Persean Sector." asked Wolf wanting to get ASAP to writing his report so that he can get this quickly behind himself.

The Neuko stared back at him before answering after several seconds.

"Apologies, but Solvernia Admiral is not available at the moment. From information available she has an audience with Charlotte III Permaisuri in the Royal Palace on New Aurora. I have sent a notification to Solvernia Admiral. In the meantime, where does Wolf Lt. Commander wishes to go?"

Wolf raised an eyebrow. Great he now has to wait.

"Can you give me a sit rep on both of the Sathanas Fleets? Have they attacked this Caeli Constellation and Stjarna System?" inquired the Terran concerned with having been out for more than 13 hours.

The Neuko only replied with a short and dry no data available.

Shaking his head slowly he came to the conclusion that right now he can't do much. With nothing to do he should check on the GTF Perseus to make sure that the Aurorans didn't get the bright idea of taking it apart.

"Lead me to the port-side Fighter Hangar then, please." replied the Terran slightly annoyed.

"Affirmative, please follow me." instructed the Neuko before leading the way.

When they both reached the Hangar Wolf could see that the Aurorans thankfully have not taken apart the GTVA owned Fighter. There where still Scientists walking around taking scans, their expressions showing that they were simply fascinated with the Nankam Aeronautical build Interceptor. Most likely the reverse engineered Shivan particle shields and weapons.

He could also see several UAF Officers, probably Pilots, and Hangar Service Crewmen looking in wonder at it.

With having made sure that the Fighter was still in one piece the GTVA Officer tried to turn towards the Neuko and go somewhere else only to get interrupted by a very familiar Fox Girl Researcher.

"Hello! GTVA Officer Wolf! I still have some questions about your Fighter!" shouted the brown haired Fox Girl rather loud across the vast Hangar before running towards him which made everyone turn towards him.

Wolf breathed a sign. He will have to talk. Great.

When the Researcher finally reached him she started to talk so quickly that the Pilot only raised his right Hand.

"OK, please slow down. Could you please introduce yourself first, Ma'am?" asked Wolf the Fox Girl Researcher.

The Researcher stared shortly at him before answering.

"Oh yes, where are my manners. I am Pandora La Fayette, leading Researcher in matters of Human Domain Technologies and all other unknown ones. Please excuse my forwardness since it's not every day I get to see something that isn't covered in thousands of cycles old dust." introduced Pandora herself slightly blushing.

There is this Human Domain again which Admiral Solvernia has mentioned before. Perhaps he can get some answers out of this Miss La Fayette. Weird, the name sounds...French?

"No problem, I do myself have questions about this Human Domain, perhaps we can come to some form of agreement. Like I answer one of your questions as long as they are not classified and you answer one of mine?" asked the Terran Pilot the Auroran Researcher.

Pandora pondered his proposal shortly before nodding with a bright smile.

"Alright, but I start first." replied the Fox Girl.

Wolf only nodded even when he basically has already answered one of her questions before.

"So about the FTL drive. How does it work?" asked Pandora.

Wolf simply explained the Researcher the same technical informations he once told to the Admiral.

"Wow! Vibrations to enter subspace and reach other areas in the galaxy this quickly?! But it is rather restrictive compared to Hyperspace FTL Travel. But still Wow, the only thing the Human Domain has coming close to such travel times is their Gate Network. A Network they had to build themselves over thousands of cycles!" replied Pandora fascinated while taking a note on one of the holographic interfaces that floated around her.

This small tidbit about this Human Domain made Wolf raise an eyebrow. How long had this Domain been space-faring when Pandora mentioned that it took them thousands of these cycles to build some kind of Gate Network.

"How high is this Human Domain on the Kardashev scale?" asked the Terran Pilot slowly, wanting to know in what he got himself into.

"Oh, that's an easy one. They are a type II Civilization." answered Pandora simply back.

Wolfs eyes and mouth opened wide.

A damn type II Civilization!

That means they are able to somehow consume a star's energy directly, most likely through the use of a Dyson sphere or something else.

This implies that they are able to build massive mega structures. Explains the massive ring he saw when he ended up here.

It also means that they could become a massive threat to the GTVA, even larger than the Shivans already are. He definitely needs to get to know how this Domain acts towards other civilizations they encounter. If they are hostile they need more ships of the Colossus Juggernaut Class.

No not just more! They need an entire armada!

Knowing his peoples luck they will definitely be hostile!

Typical Terran paranoia? No! More like Terran foresight!

Pandora stared at the Terran and raised slowly an eyebrow wondering why he has such an expression and was shaking slightly.

"Ahem Mister Wolf, you alright?" asked the Researcher concerned about the Terran standing in front of her.

The Terran wasn't answering, his mind rapidly jumping to conclusions and predictions. His breathing started to get faster.

"Should we get you to the sickbay, Lt. Commander Wolf?" asked Pandora La Fayette having witnessed the Terran start to hyperventilate.

At the word sickbay Wolf snapped out of his thoughts.

"I'm alright! Don't send me to that Doctor!" shouted Wolf before finally noticing what he was doing. Slowly the Terran slowed down his breathing.

He noticed also that everyone was now staring at him again.

"Alright..." replied Pandora slowly having witnessed the Terrans outburst in a completely different language that even her sub dermal translator wasn't able to translate.

"I am sorry for... what just happened. When I heard that this Domain is a type II Civilization my mind just went on a tangent of how dangerous they could be... ugh." explained the Lt. Commander slowly with a migraine forming.

"You Terrans sure are kinda paranoid. But than again the Domain hasn't really brought much glory on itself with all the things it did..." pointed Pandora out before not going deeper into the topic.

Wolf raised an eyebrow, oh she is a smart and sly girl, like a fox. She has especially said this right now so that he must answer her next question if he wants her to continue.

"So, next question." started Pandora La Fayette.

"Whats your full Name?" continued the Researcher with a smirk.

This question really just pulled the rug out from under him. He thought she would ask any other question about the Fighter and not something so personal.

"Is this really necessary?" asked the Pilot back honestly not wanting to give out too much informations about himself.

Pandora stepped closer.

"Yes, just between you and me. I got a bet running with one of my colleagues on who of us gets to figure out your full name first." replied Pandora in a hushed voice back.

The Terran simply stared at her. He does need to know what this Human Domain has done. Also if he has to live in this dimension till he can return home he most likely has to give out his first name anyway at some point.

"Name is Hans Wolf, are you pleased with this answer Miss La Fayette?"

"Hans? Wait, it's really such a simple name? Alright what do you want to know about the Human Domain?" asked the Auroran while she made another note on the holographic interface she had used before and stepped back.

Wolf wanted to know just well... everything.

"What does the Human Domain do to other civilizations or cultures it comes across?" asked the GTVA Officer her

"We don't have much, but what I was able to find out is that they never encountered other species as they use self replicating AI controlled Ships to terra form planets across the Galaxy. Perhaps these Terraformers came across other worlds with life and changed their biosphere so that whatever was not able to fight back simply died out. These Terraformers are after all armed. About your other question, well since you already answered my first question yesterday I should continue. When the Domain encounters, as example, other Human settlers that have colonized via the use of cryo sleep other worlds they either integrate them via diplomacy or they wipe them out when they don't agree to become a part of the Domain. When becoming part of the Domain you basically lose your culture since the Domain likes to homogenize everything into a fine uninteresting bland mix." explained the Researcher to Wolf.

This explanation will suffice. This Domains colonizing policy is definitely a massive violation of BETAC. Having faced extinction before the GTVA has policies that disallow uncontrolled terra forming of worlds that could one day have advanced life on them. Then there is the fact that the Human Domain likes to homogenize everything so much that entire cultures get basically wiped out. This is definitely a big no to the GTA side of the GTVA.

"So with all of this, do you want anything more to know, cause I got everything I need?" asked the Auroran further with a bright smile on her lips.

"No, this explanation will suffice for now. Thank you Miss La Fayette." replied the GTVA Officer grateful for all of these informations.

Pandora's emotions did a 180 turn.

"Ah, simply call me Pandora. Miss La Fayette is how my mother wants to be called." replied the Researcher with a rather sad smile.

Family problems? Asked the Terran Pilot himself having a rather strained relationship with his own Father as well, especially when it came to his own service in the military. It was not his place to ask right now.

Bidding the Researcher farewell, Wolf turned towards the Neuko which has silently observed the entire conversation and almost hailed sickbay in accordance to her protocols when the Terran started to hyperventilate.

"Please, lead the way to the barber shop" asked the Pilot scratching his bearded chin, his mind still doing spins around this Human Domain topic.

"Understood, please follow." instructed his guide.

When they reached the barber shop the Terran stopped.

How is he supposed to pay for this service. His money was after all in another dimension and do Aurorans even take Galactic Credits or GC for short? All of these questions and more plagued the mind of the Terran.

The Neuko Guide noticed this and turned towards him.

"All services and meals provided to crew and guests are free of charge on the YRNFS Solvernia VII." informed the Neuko Automata simply before she stepped to the side of the bulkhead leading into the room.

Wolf signed in relief.

Stepping forward the bulkhead opened automatically and gave the Terran Officer a good look into the room. There where multiple seats facing mirrors for patrons to observe the work and result of the service provided to them. Wolf heard some kind of classical instrumental music being played over loudspeakers that are attached to the walls. When he finally stepped through the bulkhead inside the room a rather simple sounding chime played signaling the entrance of a new customer.

The chime alerted one of the workers who turned shortly around from his work.

"Name and rank?" asked the male Auroran worker before turning back to his customer, from the looks of it he was cutting this Man's hair.

"GTVA Lieutenant Commander Wolf." answered the Terran back.

The Auroran turned abruptly around messing up a rather from the looks of it complicated procedure, which made his customer in turn curse rather loudly.

"Ow! My rabbit ears!" shouted the Auroran customer in pain.

"Stop whining, see not even a cut." informed the barber his customer while showing him the area he slightly messed up. Once the barber has spoken with his customer he turned to Wolf.

"You that Terran Commander Wolf guy, who was part of the group that saved the capital?" asked the Auroran barber surprised.

"Yes, but I was just doing my duty. And also I am a Lieutenant Commander and not a full fledged Commander." explained the Pilot while scratching his neck rather embarrassed.

"By the Queen! It is him! How can we be of service?" asked the Auroran excited while walking towards the GTVA Officer.

"I need a clean shave since my shaving utensils got lost during transit to another dimension." answered Wolf back being even more embarrassed about all the attention. He just isn't used to all of this.

The Auroran barber started laughing loudly at that. Once he calmed enough down he turned towards the back of the room.

"Senior Cadet Joseph get over here and give this man a clean shave. Before you start complaining, no I don't care if you are on your break! And I swear on the Queen, if you cut his face I will personally kick you out of the next air lock." shouted the barber towards this Joseph who was sitting on a chair reading something on a pad.

"Sure thing, Petty Officer." replied Joseph through gritted teeth annoyed before placing the pad down on a small table next to him and standing up.

While Joseph was walking towards Wolf, the Terran could see the Auroran glare daggers at his Petty Officer and also himself.

"Ah, get over yourself Joseph, it's not everyday you can get to shave the face of a hero who most likely will appear on holovision. So as I said before don't mess this up." countered the Petty Officer seeing his subordinates facial expressions.

"Alright! Thankfully my vacation to Favonius starts tomorrow. So, Mister Terran guy please take a seat. Are there any sort of special requests for the shave?" replied Joseph his expression becoming more neutral while mentioning towards an empty seat.

"No, just a clean shave, nothing special." informed the GTVA Pilot simply as he took the offered seat.

"Good." countered the Auroran while getting a wet towel, shaving cream and a cutthroat razor.

While the Senior Cadet started working Wolf was thinking about this Favonius place. It really appears that this planet is rather liked by the Aurorans, most likely it's some sort of resort planet where people tend to spend their holidays and vacations on.

He still needs more informations about the Persean Sector for his report to his Superiors. With this in mind maybe he could do some small talk with this Senior Cadet Joseph and get some information.

"Senior Cadet, can I ask you something?" started Wolf.

"No, better not. I don't want to get kicked out of the air lock." countered the Auroran while applying the shaving cream to Wolfs face.

"Dammit, Joseph! If the Man asks for something then you will answer him. Ever heard about customer satisfaction!" shouted the Petty Officer having overheard the Senior Cadets answer. Not really hard since he was working nearby.

"Alright. But only one question." said the Senior Cadet with finality.

Wolf needed to think about this. What should he ask? Something about the Aurorans themselves or maybe about the Human Domain?

He should go simply with the Aurorans themselves.

"So this Favonius, is quite popular from what I heard beforehand. What's so special about it?" asked Wolf, silently berating himself for wasting a opportunity to gain more knowledge.

"Whats so special?! Favonius is literary the most liked place in the entire Sector! They had to basically put rules in place because of all the tourist Fleets from other Factions cluttering up the space surrounding the planet! Some navigation computers couldn't handle all this clutter which made flying near the planet a hazardous endeavor! These were dark times indeed." almost shouted the Senior Cadet gesturing with his hands wildly around.

OK, this gave him actually a good insight into the Persean Sector. If there are other Human Factions and the Aurorans themselves still around that means that the Domain has hopefully fractured into smaller parts that are now squabbling over the leftovers. Should he feel pity? Definitely positively absolutely no. From what he had learned about this Human Domains policies when it came to terraforming and their extremely aggressive way of dealing with their own kind he will not shed a single tear about its demise.

They almost remember him of the Ancients, a belligerent warrior species that either subjugated or exterminated other lesser advanced species in the entire galaxy of his home dimension who thankfully in turn got wiped out by the Shivans 8.000 years ago.

Somewhere on Chicomoztoc the High Hegemon Baikal Daud sneezed.

Wait does that mean that in the Persean Sector there are technologies of a type II Civilization lying around that no one is guarding?

In Wolfs mind the mere possibility of an Armada of Colossus Class Juggernauts becomes a reality.

Somewhere on Sindria, Philip Andrada self declared Gas Station Manager shed somehow a single tear even in his rather vegetable like state. His Puppeteer staring unsure at this sign of life from the comatose leader of the SFC.

Meanwhile High Hegemon Baikal Daud sneezed for a second time.

Just simple scans of these Technologies can boost the GTVA's understanding and replication of these Technologies, giving them the ability to ensure their mutual assured continued existence.

Alone the idea of what all the many GTVA native Terran and Vasudan mega corporations, who work day and night to ensure the very existence of both their people, could do with such scans made Wolf shudder.

Somewhere on Eochu Bres Artemisia Sun, CEO of the Tri-Tachyon mega corporation had a rather mega migraine attack out of nowhere.

Baikal Daud sneezed for a third time.

The citizens of the Galactic Terran-Vasudan Alliance shall no longer cower in fear of the great tomb that is space, their children shall no longer face an uncertain and dangerous future.

They shall ensure not just their own existence but of others as well.

On New Aurora in the Royal Palace Queen Aeria could feel a shudder of intense excitement run down her spine. Admiral Solvernia could only raise a questionable eyebrow at her Queens behavior before noticing that she had a notification.

The GTVA will not just prevail in the face of extinction, they will simply laugh back at its face.

Baikal Daud sneezed for the fourth time making him fall out of his chair. He could feel that something is coming his and the Hegemony way.

That is, if the GTVA didn't have destroyed the Capella-Vega subspace corridor mused Wolf.

"In the Queens name, what the hell did I told you Joseph! Don't cut his face!" screamed someone bringing the Terran back out of his thoughts.

"Not my fault! The guy shuddered out of nowhere!" shouted Joseph back at his Petty Officer.

Oh right. He was in a barber shop getting his messy four day beard shaved by someone with an cutthroat razor.

Opening his eyes the Terran can see that the Senior Cadet and his Petty Officer where in a shouting match.

"I am so done with you Joseph! Your entire work ethic is miserable! Why in the Queens name did you even become a member of the UAF Navy!" shouted the Petty Officer at the Senior Cadet.

"I told you it's not my fault! The guy shuddered out of nowhere!" shouted Joseph back in defense of himself.

"As if! That man is a high ranking military officer with I bet cycles of experience under his belt! Someone like that doesn't shudder out of nowhere! While I can't throw you out an air lock legally, I can get you thrown into the brig! SAY FAREWELL TO YOUR VACATION!" shouted the PettyOfficer in return.

Wolf took a look into the mirror, the cut on his chin was from what he had gone through in his 25 years since his birth not something to be concerned about. From the looks of it the shave was at least finished.

Once he had checked himself Wolf started to interject himself into the ongoing shouting match.

"It's alright! The Senior Cadet is right, I did shudder and honestly I only finished the Vega Flight Academy four to five months ago!" shouted the GTVA Officer loud enough to get both of their attention and the rest of the room as well.

Both turned towards the Terran, the Petty Officer starring with wide eyes while the Senior Cadet had a shit eating grin on his face.

"What... how? Only a few months? I had to work to get my rank for at least a cycle." spoke the Petty Officer sounding as if a small part of himself just died inside of him.

"Well... joining at the 18th month of an 22 months ongoing rebellion and Shivans make for a rather rapid rise in the ranks when you are a Fighter Pilot." informed the GTVA Officer sadly, remembering all the fallen.

It was also better to leave out the multiple times he worked for the SOC of the GTVI.

Wolf decided with the shave completed that he should go. Bidding fast his farewell and making sure that the Senior Cadet isn't thrown into the brig he moved towards the exit. As he was walking out the bulkhead he could hear the two UAF enlisted personal speak shortly before the bulkhead closed behind him.

"Told you so, sir." said the Senior Cadet.

"Just shut up, Joseph." breathed the Petty Officer just done with his subordinate.

When Wolf walked out the Neuko that has been waiting turned towards him.

"Wolf Lt. Commander are you in need of medical assistance? Shall this platform lead you to the sickbay?" asked the Automata having noticed a rather large cut on the Terrans left chin.

The Terran shook his head, no he is not going to the sickbay and the in heat Cat Doctor. Nothing is going to bring him back there not even the burning sting he could feel.

He felt slightly hungry. What was in that tube Doctor Veronica gave him if he only started to feel hunger now?

"Can you lead me to the mess deck, please?" asked the Pilot instead.

"Understood, follow please." instructed the Neuko.

Walking into the mess deck the Terran could see that the place was rather busy with multiple UAF Navy Personal walking around, talking with one another or eating food at the many tables in the massive room.

He could feel a tense atmosphere hanging about the room.

Thanks to a large clock the Terran noticed that it was 1720 hours evening. Explains the rather busy atmosphere.

So how does he get something to eat? He can't see any kind of food distribution.

While looking around to see where he can get a meal the Terran didn't notice a Auroran walk up behind him.

"Hey, what's up GTVA guy?" called a voice that was vaguely familiar to Wolf from behind him.

Turning around he was greeted by a female Auroran with blonde shoulder long hair, blue eyes that peered from behind a pair of thin red rimmed holographic glasses at him. The woman wore from what he can see the typical blue colored Auroran Officer Uniform plus this wing headdress thing he had noticed many Aurorans wear. This woman was wearing it only on the right side of her head. She also had some sort of large white band aid covering a part of her left chin.

She was looking at him as if she was expecting him to know her.

Raising an eyebrow in question towards the Woman, the Auroran Officer rolled her eyes.

"It's me Lieutenant Thompson, you know Typhoon Tempest 2?" asked the Auroran after having to wait several seconds for an answer.

Ah, Lt. Thompson his shadow from before.

"Good evening Lieutenant Thompson, I hope you are doing well." greeted Wolf after finally remembering the Woman.

"Yeah, first I and my Squadron get a transfer order to another ship and than these Shivans attacked us and now the transfer order got canceled. So all in all I'm doing pretty great." answered the Lieutenant with a smirk.

"Ah... good to hear, Lieutenant." replied Wolf partly unsure until he saw the woman's smirk.

"Just call me Yimie, all this Lieutenant this all this Lieutenant that. I'm off duty right now. So wanna grab-?" asked Yimie as she was looking at his face before she saw something that made her stop.

"Hey, where did you got that cut from?" asked she concerned before using her right hand to search around her uniform pouches. When she found what she was looking for she handed Wolf the same type of band aid she had on her own left chin.

"Thanks, by the way name is Hans." replied the GTVA Pilot gratefully when he took the offered Band aid. After applying it to the cut he could feel the stinging pain wear off.

"Hans huh, that's a pretty simple name." said Yimie with an raised eyebrow.

"It's a rather common name from my culture, also my Grandfather had the same name." replied Hans while looking shortly around.

"So wanna grab a bite? I'm feeling rather hungry." asked Yimie wanting to get something to eat finally.

"Sure, lead the way." answered the Terran stepping aside to let her walk past.

"You are not going to stare at my ass, right Hans?" questioned Yimie with an raised eyebrow and a smirk on her lips.

"What. No, why should I do that? I have just no idea where to get the food from." replied the Terran earnestly.

Yimie started to laugh.

"I'm just messing with you, come on." laughed the UAF Pilot before walking past and leading Wolf towards the back of the room to a part on the wall where multiple shelf doors where inlaid into the wall with a myriad of buttons placed above them.

Wolf stared at them in wonder.

"So it's pretty simple, you push one of the buttons up there..." started Yimie to explain while pushing one of the buttons.

"... and your ordered food gets placed via automatic delivery in the shelf, after that it gets quick heated and once it's done..." explained Yimie further.

Wolf waited for her to continue only to hear a short chime coming from the shelf. Yimie opened it with a smile.

"...Bon appetite!" exclaimed she with a short laugh before taking out a tray with an plate filled with some chicken meat, potatoes and a salad. It did all look tasty and smelled delicious.

Yimie rather hungry and wanting to eat quickly told him that he should use the same button she had used.

Once both had gotten their meals, Yimie led him over to a small table with two chairs facing each other.

Sitting both down Yimie started to eat rather fast without much thought about table manners.

"You know... when they picked through the crash site of that Shivan Bomber you shot down... the thing they found was rather creepy. Like seriously 5 limbs and 5 insect like eyes and the size of that thing alone. Honestly I hope to never have to face such a thing in a cramped hallway." spoke Yimie partly with a full mouth.

Wolf could guess she was talking about the Shivan which he shot down directly over New Aurora's atmosphere.

"Good to know that it's dead, the claws of a Shivan can tear any known type of alloy apart, add the fact that their arms can shoot plasma projectiles. On the topic of the Shivans, do you know what the two Sathanas Groups did?"

"The big ass ships? Oh, they didn't attack anything in the Caeli Constellation and Stjarna System, they simply split again into each of their own two groups and than after sitting around for an hour started to vanish one after the other. Wait, hold on, these Bastards can shoot plasma projectiles from their arms!" exclaimed Yimie in surprise and slightly if he heard correctly a little bit of fear.

"Yeah, we don't know if they are organic with cybernetics or the other way around." explained the Terran simply before he started to think.

So the Shivans are clearly setting up a Subspace Network. They will most likely or have already created subspace corridors leading to other parts of the galaxy in this dimension. The GTVA could use this to get around. But to get around most of the Persean Sector they will still need this Hyperspace FTL he had been hearing about.

Wait, with Hyperspace FTL they basically could get to Sol and therefore Earth! Our little blue planet!

Oh this is definitely going into Wolfs report. Alone the mere possibility of being able to finally get some answers as to why Sol has been not replying to GTVA long range communication attempts from Alpha Centauri, which would at least take a decade, will be instrumental.

Yes there is the Knossos Portal, but building that megastructure will take definitely more time than retrofitting a ship with an Hyperspace FTL drive. He can bet that Admiral Petrarch will be jumping at this idea with him coming from Earth.

While he was deep in thought about this topic he noticed Yimie waving her hands in front of his face.

"Yo Hans, you there? You haven't eaten much of your food." asked Yimie pointing towards his food.

"I am alright, it's just there is a lot to think about." answered Hans back before resuming to eat his food.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense, by the way I wanted to ask, can I borrow your Fighter for a spin, pretty please?" asked Yimie hopefully with what Hans would interpret as puppy eyes.

"I'm deeply sorry, but the GTF Perseus is property of the GTVA. I have not a high enough rank to allow someone else to fly it." explained the GTVA Officer trying to withstand Yimie's pleading eyes

"Well, but what if we both fly in the Cockpit together?" asked the Auroran further with her by now trademark smirk.

"Not enough space, perhaps when both our civilizations come to make agreements in sharing technologies you Aurorans will be able to either get your own GTF Perseus Interceptors or you could create thanks to insights your very own version." informed Hans Yimie who looked rather hopeful at the prospect.

When Wolf finished with his meal finally he looked over at the clock which showed 1800 sharp.

"So it's 1800 AST, wanna go for a quick round to blow off steam in the gym?" asked Yimie while cracking her knuckles having noticed the time as well.

"Sorry, but I will most likely meet Admiral Solvernia so I can get all the necessary informations I need for my report that I hopefully can send to my superiors. Can't really go to her when completely sweaty. Another time perhaps?" countered he back.

"I will hold you up to that." promised Yimie as she grabbed her tray while Hans grabbed his own. After both brought them to a tray transport trolley they both bid each other farewell and went their separate way.

Yimie as she said went to the gym.

Wolf on the other hand, had not much of an idea of what to do now.

That was until the Guide-type Neuko reappeared and walked towards him.

"Wolf Lieutenant Commander, Solvernia Admiral has returned to the YRNFS Solvernia VII and is waiting for you in her office. Do you wish to go to her?" asked the Automata him.

"Yes, lead the way." answered Wolf back.

When they entered the corridor leading to Admiral Solvernia's Office Wolf had to stop abruptly. Along the corridors walls stood multiple Aurorans at parade rest in rather advanced blue colored armors holding the same type of energy weapons as the Neuko Automata Guards the day before. Wolf couldn't see their eyes as their helmets where completely enclosed with gold colored visors.

His guide Neuko simply walked past these Guards towards a bulkhead located amidst the right wall of the corridor before standing still and turning around towards him.

When he took the first step forward the first row of guards he was about to pass saluted him.

With no danger in sight the Terran started to simply walk towards the Neuko. When he reached her she mentioned towards the bulkhead.

When he approached the bulkhead the right one of the two Guards standing in front of each bulkhead bow stepped in his way. The left one walked up next to him and used some kind of device that he started to move up and down along his body.

Wolf guessed that they are searching for concealed weapons, but why now? He already met the Admiral before personally when he landed on the ship for the very first time.

They reminded him clearly of the Vasudan Imperial Guard, who also wear advanced armors over their skeletal-looking bodies. But instead of rifles they had ceremonial staff weapons that fire red bolts of plasma.

Once the Guard on the left side finished he gave a short nod towards the other one. Said Guard stepped back in front of the bulkhead bow. After standing where he originally stood he mentioned towards the bulkhead.

Wolf took the step forward.

The bulkhead opened.

Once he was able to see the inside of Admiral Solvernia's Office he could see that the Admiral wasn't alone.

From what he could see the Admiral was sitting at a rather luxurious desk that was situated in the left side of the room facing the right wall. He noticed that Admiral Solvernia was eating some kind of pastry, if he looked closely it was some kind of doughnut. The Admiral looked rather pleased with her eyes closed while munching on the snack. Behind her on the wall was some sort of spear on display that had an interesting design, it's tips blade was made up of three blades with the central one simply going along the spears length and other two tips branching outwards.

But what actually took Wolfs attention was the other person. Said person was facing towards the rooms window looking down at New November City with her back turned towards him.

It was the Permaisuri Charlotte III of the Empire of Yuria, the Woman that was so prominent in the first contact massage he had received after entering this dimension.

Wolf felt severely under dressed in his simple grey shirt, grey pants and the Auroran military boots he was provided with. Thankfully he did got that shave even with his chin still stinging slightly. He can't thank Yimie enough.

Taking another step forward the bulkhead closed behind him.

Admiral Solvernia's eyes opened, she looked towards the bulkhead and noticed the Terran. She imeadatly stopped munching while moving the plate of delicious delight out of sight somewhere behind the desk.

Once she swallowed her last bite she took a quick glance towards her Queen and than back to the GTVA Officer.

"GTVA Officer Lieutenant Commander Wolf, I hope you have slept well?" asked the Admiral.

"I would be lying if I was saying that I had slept well, Ma'am." replied Wolf exhausted back before noticing something else that was lying on the Admirals desk.

The device was a small flat bronze colored cylinder with a holographic projector in the center. The device could be easily carried in one hand.

It was Wolf's personal holographic projector all GTA Pilots normally carry around inside a pouch of their flight suits. This projector holds holographic images of his own family and all the other people he had met throughout his rather short Fighter Pilot career.

"We found this inside one of the pouches of your flight suit while it was getting cleaned." informed the Admiral Wolf when she noticed him looking at it.

At that the Permaisuri turned around towards the Terran.

"I once again greet you, GTVA Lieutenant Commander Wolf. I, Queen Aeria, thank you for your help in fending off these Shivans and for your support during one of our darkest hours since we settled on New Aurora." greeted the Queen with a smile on her face.

Wolf stood at attention and saluted.

"Queen Aeria, I was just doing my duty as GTVA Officer, if someone else had been in my place be they Terran or Vasudan, they would have done the same thing. The people you could extend your thank towards are the members of the 66th Galm Squadron, the Terran Engineers of the Nankam Aeronautical corporation, the Vasudan reactor smiths from the Akheton corporation and also the Terran field technicians from the GTD Aquitaine." explained Wolf.

At that Queen Aeria raised an eyebrow.

"That, are quite a lot of people to thank." spoke the Queen rather surprised.

Wolf changed to parade rest.

"Well, we are a Galactic Alliance after all." replied Wolf with a smile.

At that the Queen started to laugh, her laugh was melodic and almost contagious.

"Well, yes of course, unsurprisingly that entails a lot of people. I mean just thinking about this fact boggles my mind. A Galactic Alliance of not one but two species. I have so many questions for at my heart I am a explorer." replied the Queen after she finished laughing. While she said this she mentioned to her left side towards a round table with six chairs surrounding it.

Admiral Solvernia stood up from her desk while picking up Wolf's holographic projector. She was also walking towards the table to be part of the following conversation. She raised an eyebrow at the fact that Wolf wasn't walking towards the table as well.

Before walking over Wolf spoke.

"Before the questions start, I, Lieutenant Commander Wolf extend the GTVA's and Vasudan Emperor Khonsu II gratitude towards the United Aurora Federation for taking out the SJ Sathanas 17. For this very Sathanas has destroyed the GTVA Colossus." thanked Wolf the UAF.

Queen Aeria stopped before she was able to sit down in the chair she picked for herself and turned around with a quizzed expression.

"Oh yes, Solvii has told me earlier about the ship and it's significance towards your people, but why do you mention this Vasudan Emperor Khonsu II?" asked she surprised.

Admiral Solvernia grimaced that her nickname was said around someone else shortly.

"Emperor Khonsu II was the one who approached the GTVA General Assembly with his Colossus project. I wish I had his speech with me it is truly inspiring." explained Wolf before walking towards the table.

Queen Aeria smiled brightly.

"Truly? Then when we can establish contact I will surely hear it." insured the Queen the GTVA Officer.

All three sat down with Wolf sitting at 3 o'clock, Admiral Solvernia at 7 o'clock and Queen Aeria at 11 o'clock at the round table.

Admiral Solvernia passed Wolf his holographic projector. Which he thanked her for before placing it in one of the pockets of his pants.

"So, Solvii told me how quickly one gets across the Galaxy via subspace. Whould the GTVA like to share this Technology with the UAF?"asked Queen Aeria.

"While this is more of a thing for the General Assembly to decide, I can say that the GTA would be very interested to get Hyperspace FTL in exchange for Subspace technology." explained Wolf rubbing his right chin.

"Why would the GTA be so interested to acquire technology that is slower than subspace technology?" asked Admiral Solvernia finding it weird why the GTA especially would want Hyperspace FTL.

"Well... with Hyperspace we could reach finally our homeworld Earth, which we got cut off from around 32 cycles ago." explained Wolf.

Queen Aeria stared at Wolf.

"Wait, you Terrans have been cut off from your own homeworld as well like us? How did that happen?" asked Queen Aeria concerned.

"Well, the Shivans happened around 32 cycles ago. They came with a large fleet and a ship we called SD Lucifer, a Capital Ship we classified as a Super Destroyer outfitted with an advanced sheath shield which made the ship to weapons of that time basically impenetrable. The SD Lucifer was also outfitted with deadly Orbital Beam cannons, which the Shivans used to destroy Vasuda Prime in 17 hours, the homeworld of the Vasudan species and other planets." was Wolf explaining only to get interrupted.

"The Shivans destroyed the homeworld of an entire species in 17 hours!" exclaimed both Queen Aeria and Admiral Solvernia at the same time.

"Yes, they killed billions and they almost got ours too if it wasn't for Vasudan Scientists, who fled the destruction of their homeworld to the Altair System. There they found the ruins of an civilization that got wiped out by the Shivans around 8.000 cycles ago." continued Wolf.

"I can now understand why the GTVA consider the Shivans as a threat to all life in the galaxy, if they have been so long around, who knows how old their species really is and how many civilizations they have wiped out." replied Admiral Solvernia remembering the dead Shivan from the downed Bomber they were able to recover. The creature was large with 5 limbs and 5 insect like eyes. From their scans the being was some sort of cross between an organic and cybernetic life form which origins baffled their xeno scientists. Add on top that the being according to their scans can rip anything with its claws apart and fire plasma projectiles from its very limbs Solvernia understood that these Shivans are exterminators. She takes back what she said about the Vasudans, Shivans are way more creepy.

"Yes. So, anyway these ruins held technologies that gave us the ability to track and follow the SD Lucifer into subspace where the shield doesn't work. Barely before the SD Lucifer arrived in the Sol system Fighters and Bombers from the 53rd Hammerheads stationed on the GTD Bastion where able to destroy the ship. Problem is the destruction caused the subspace corridor to collapse." finished Wolf.

"This other species that got wiped out by the Shivans, who where they?" asked Queen Aeria.

"We call them the Ancients, they were a belligerent warrior race who either subjugated or exterminated other lesser advanced species in the galaxy when they came across them. When I was gathering informations and heard about this Human Domain, of what it did in the past it reminded me closely of these Ancients. Just worse is that the Human Domain is a type II Civilization which is using, from what I can guess, von Neumann machines for terraforming. This uncontrolled way could lead to other species getting wiped out without the Human Domain even knowing of their existence. At least the Ancients were around the same technology level as us and knew what they were doing! They even felt remorse for what they had done before they were wiped out by the Shivans!" declared the Terran showing both the Admiral and the Queen why he and probably the GTVA as a whole will not be really fond of the Domain.

Baikal Daud sneezed again somewhere on Chicomoztoc.

"This explains the incident that Pandora La Fayette had described to me. I guess hearing about the Human Domain triggers something like that in you Terrans. Lt. Commander Wolf I can assure you that from what we know the Human Domain has fractured when their Gate Network broke down." explained the Admiral to Wolf.

"Good to hear, thank you Admiral. Dealing with the Shivans is already enough work." replied the Terran earnestly.

"There are of course other Human Factions in the Persean Sector, I have sent a pad containing all informations I myself was able to gather about them during a expedition to the core worlds to your guest Quarter. There are of course also informations regarding the UAF." explained Admiral Solvernia further.

"That will help me immensely for my report, I once again thank you Admiral Solvernia." thanked Wolf with an honest smile towards the Admiral, Solvernia just rolled her eyes mumbling something under her breath.

"So, while I understand that the topic about Capella is still very fresh, could you tell me how many Terrans lived in the system." asked Queen Aeria.

At that question Wolf turned his head downwards in sorrow.

"Around 250 millions plus a small Vasudan community of several thousands. I... don't know how many we were able to save even when we started to imeadatly evacuate our citizens when the Shivans were first spotted in the nearby Gamma Draconis System, but I can tell for sure that we didn't got everyone out." answered the Terran sadly back.

"250 millions!" exclaimed both the Admiral and the Queen together in surprise.

Wolf simply nodded back.

Seeing the sad state of the GTVA Officer, Queen Aeria took heart at the discontent of not just the very Terran in front of her but his entire civilization that not just one day ago lost so much. In her mind the Terrans are not so different from her own people. Both faced extinction from an outside threat that would have simply wiped both their people out. Deep down she hated the Human Domain for what it had done. As the Lieutenant Commander has stated they could have destroyed perhaps multiple civilizations without even knowing it. Her own people being almost added to that very list.

"If there is any way the United Aurora Federation can help, we will gladly do it!" declared the Queen to the GTVA Officer.

At that Wolf raised his head again seeing the Queens facial expressions, her determination raised his spirit somewhat.

"Thank you Queen Aeria, that means a lot to my people. It's great that for once we meet others that don't want to blow us up."

At that Admiral Solvernia raised an eyebrow.

"By your wording right now, was first contact with the Vasudans also problematic?" asked she slowly.

"While initial first contact was peaceful, it deteriorated rather quickly because of both our species cultures being so different, I mean the Vasudan language is so complex with its formalities governing its usage are beyond a humans comprehension. Syntax and vocabulary are dictated by such factors as the speaker's age, rank, caste, the time of day, the phase of the Vasudan calendar and the relative spatial position of the speaker to the Emperor. This is further compounded by the existence of several alphabets, dozens of verb tenses, and thousands of dialects. They are also very ritualistic. All of this lead to the Terran-Vasudan War a 14 cycles ongoing intergalactic stalemate conflict that only stopped when the Shivans and the SD Lucifer arrived." explained Wolf

"That's one complicated language and than an actual intergalactic war. I don't know what to say about something like that. You Terrans have gone through a lot. Lt. Commander Wolf I can assure you that the UAF prefers cooperation as long as the other side is not trying to threaten us." assured Queen Aeria the Terran Fighter Pilot.

"We would never go ahead and threaten other civilizations. The Beta Aquilae Convention, that founded the GTVA, was signed by both Terran and Vasudan diplomats two decades ago declares that." assured Wolf towards the Queen.

Admiral Solvernia looked and asked a question that she needed to know.

"Was this Khonsu II, back than in charge of the Vasudan Empire?" asked she, wanting to know if this Emperor is the same one that committed to an intergalactic war.

"No, back than he wasn't. Back than the Vasudan Emperor was more of a figurehead than an actual leader. The Vasudan parliament was in charge which was known for its Byzantine treachery, corruption, and arrogance. Once Khonsu II was indicted on the Vasudan throne, after the destruction of Vasuda Prime, he disassembled the parliament and took direct control. He is very pro Terran, as example his project the GTVA Colossus was named after the sixth world wonder from Earth and used outwardly mainly Terran design elements. Khonsu II is also very liked by his people, a far call compared to their old parliament." explained Wolf to the Admiral.

This was acceptable for the Admiral now imaging the over 6 kilometers long warship mainly with brown and green elements. She will definitely want to see an actual picture of something that was almost double the size of the YRNFS Solvernia VII.

"That's good to hear, Lieutenant Commander could you perhaps tell us how your people and the Vasudans are able to communicate with one another when their language is so complex, I mean I can guess that there is some kind of translation device but definitely not made by you Terrans, right?" asked Queen Aeria wanting to know how it is even possible to speak with someone whose language is so complex.

"A Vasudan made translation device is standard on all GTVA communications systems. Because the Vasudan homeworld was primarily desert, we Terrans used Egyptian names to designate Vasudan warships during the Terran-Vasudan War and the Great War. After the defeat of the Shivans, the Vasudans insisted on maintaining this convention. The Emperor strongly identifies his people with the history of Ancient Egypt, particularly the longevity of its civilization. Following their Emperor's example, Vasudans will take on what they call a Terran name from the myths and history of Ancient Egypt. I even got a expensive sub dermal translator for my time when I was stationed on board of the GVD Psamtik and later GVD Memphis during my service in the GTVA's Officer Exchange Program." explained Wolf while pointing behind his right ear.

"Fascinating! You worked on an ship of an entire different species! How is it's interior design?" exclaimed Aeria wanting to know how the inside of a ship designed by another species is.

"Quiet artistic. The Vasudan society is mainly made up of scholars, artists and prophets. They are very proud about this, but it borders sometimes a little bit on arrogance. But once you get past that and not accidentally commit a faux pas they are good people." informed the GTVA Officer with a small smile.

Queen Aeria smiled brightly at that.

"It is good to hear, that both your people are laying down bridges and work together even after an intergalactic war. You called it Officer Exchange Program? Perhaps when thinks work out well both our civilizations can do the same thing." explained Queen Aeria thinking that such an Exchange Program could be beneficial for both the UAF and the GTVA.

"The GTVA was basically founded on the principles of cooperation and understanding. So there won't be much of an opposition from our side." affirmed the GTVA Officer her.

"That's wonderful to hear! So pray tell, since the Vasudans are artists what kind of music do they make?" asked Queen Aeria further wanting to know more about these Vasudans.

Admiral Solvernia coughed to get both their attention knowing full well how her Queen can get lost in a topic that piques her interests.

"While it is rather interesting to learn about an entire alien civilization. I would rather think that we should focus for now on our, as you called them interdimensional cousins the Galactic Terran Alliance, my Queen." interrupted the Admiral the soon to be ongoing tangent of an conversation that will be going on for hours.

"You are right, Solvii." replied the Queen rather sad at speaking not about an actual alien civilization. Using the nickname earned her another short grimace from Solvernia.

"What do you both wish to know?" asked the Terran Pilot having already most of what he will need to know thanks to Admiral Solvernia's pad.

"I would like to know what type of Government the GTA has?" asked the Queen.

"That's rather simple, we are a galactic wide spanning democracy. The elected president right now is Angus Cameron Stewart XVI." replied the Terran proudly.

Admiral Solvernia whistled at that.

"Alone thinking about the bureaucratic effort to pull something like this off is giving me a headache." replied the Admiral.

Queen Aeria's head started spinning just from imagining the mountains of paperwork that something like this entails. Shaking her head she asked.

"Angus Cameron Stewart XVI? That's a weird name." said the Queen rather puzzled.

"Ah, well... he is a Scotsman. One of the many cultures that the GTA has. I am a little bit proud that I was born on the same planet like him, Vega IV." replied the Terran even more proud.

"But I must ask, and please don't take this the wrong way. Why was there only one Squadron yesterday to protect your Capital?" asked the Terran Pilot wanting to know why only the 66th Galm Squadron was send to intercept the Shivan Bomber Group.

Admiral Solvernia perked up at this.

"We are so far away from the Persean Sectors core worlds that we rarely see someone trying to attack us. I already spoke with the Queen to raise our recruitment numbers before we came on board." informed Admiral Solvernia Wolf who looked at the Queen.

"Yes, I have already given my allowance for this seeing that the Shivans are a dangerous entity who destroy planets and entire Star Systems. I mean a single Torpedo has 3.1 GT as payload. How is the GTVA still around?" asked Queen Aeria in wonder.

"We have around 12 combined Fleets with some weapons that are in some respect equal or even more powerful than Shivan weapons. After 32 cycles facing an dangerous alien civilization that has already wiped out one known galactic entity you kinda have to be ready. As example the Torpedo that was used yesterday is equal towards our own common GTM-12 Cyclops torpedoes that most Bombers can carry. And the GTVA Colossus was built to take on multiple ships of the SD Lucifer class at the same time. Right now after Capella I don't know to what lengths the GTVA will go to ensure that such an massacre will not ever happen again."

Both Queen Aeria and Solvernia stared at him.

"When... you... called nukes... firecrackers, you were not joking?" asked Admiral Solvernia slowly.

"We don't see the... need for these types of WMDs. I would like to tell you more but most of our more dangerous weapons are classified for a good reason, but I bet when you make official contact with the GTVA and they see that your civilization is in danger, they will be willing to share technologies to defend yourself with. Talking of this, I was able to see that the UAF likes to use carriers with Fighters and Bombers as their doctrine like the GTVA uses, am I right about this?" asked the Terran while seeing the expressions of both the Queen and Admiral darken.

"I can assure you that we don't run around the galaxy blowing up everything we come across. We know that damn well with having faced extinction beforehand. There are special policies in place in the GTVA that disallow the common usage of these very weapons and require a majority vote in the GTVA Security Council that is both made up of Terrans and Vasudans." tried the Terran to ensure both that the GTVA is not something to be afraid about.

As long as you don't threaten it's people very existence that is.

Wolf's explanation at least brightened the expression of both the Queen and Admiral.

"To answer your question we do focus on carrier usage quite allot, why are you asking this?" asked the Admiral.

"You should definitely then get one of your military contractors to license Triton Dynamics Support Ship technology. TD is very proud of this and willing to give substantial discounts on licensing fees if it is used to ensure your civilizations existence. It's magnetic-stasis delivery system plus repair facilities gives you the ability to rearm, refuel and even repair your Fighters and Bombers mid-flight. As example, thanks to the GTS Hygeia, our Fighters and Bombers can act almost independently from their own carriers even in other Star Systems." explained the Fighter Pilot.

"That explains your Fighters docking port! It does sound an interesting concept to be able to do this." replied Admiral Solvernia back having asked herself why the Fighter has this port in the first place. This Triton Dynamics sounded almost altruistic compared to Tri-Tachyon. She can see why, as no money in the world will be useful when your entire species gets wiped out.

Somewhere on Eochu Bres Artemisia Sun, CEO of the Tri-Tachyon mega corporation had another mega migraine attack out of nowhere even after taking the double amount of meds prescripted to combat the pain.

"That is an interesting technology, but I think we should also think about the Shivans now here in this dimension." said the Queen after overcoming the sheer size of the GTVA.

"Yes, you are right Queen Aeria, since my Fighter is able to use subspace I can scout out the nearby Systems that are connected via this new, by the Shivans build, subspace network. If it's like the one in my dimension then these corridors will lead to systems with high quantities of resources and habitable planets that are rather tame, so no black holes and no deadly quasars. But to explore further and set up an early warning system we would need to have a larger vessel with subspace FTL and subspace sensors. If I am able to contact the rest of the GTVA maybe they will lend the UAF one of our ships to explore further." replied the Terran to the Queen.

"The GTVA would really do such a thing?" asked the Queen rather surprised with a smile on her face.

"Yes of course, normally we would send a vessel with our own crew, but as said before the radioactivity makes a ship with crew impossible. With us considering the Shivans a threat to all sentient live we can't just sit by and watch the destruction of an entire, be they unknown or known, civilization." informed Wolf the Queen

"Talking about this, how long can your ships fight till they reach flux and also I didn't saw any of your ships use shields in the footage you gave us." asked Admiral Solvernia.

Wolf looked at Admiral Solvernia questioning with a raised eyebrow.

"What is this flux?" asked the Terran slowly back.

Both Queen Aeria and Solvernia stared at the Terran as if he had grown a second head. Once Admiral Solvernia finally found her words she explained what flux means.

"Oh, heat you say because of m/am reactors? No, that's not really a problem as we use powerful deuterium fusion reactors, the only times we get heating problems is when we overcharge our BGreen capacitors for our large Beam Cannons, but even than our ships don't simply stop working. About the shields, our larger vessels don't have them but we make that up with heavy point defenses and even heavier armor. About the heat thing, which master mind of engineering messed up so badly that you literary become a sitting duck in the middle of combat?" asked Wolf after hearing the typical way in the Persean Sector to get yourself killed real quick.

"The Human Domain." answered Admiral Solvernia simply back while both her and Queen Aeria are once again staring at Wolf, both remembering the massive amount of flak and these pulsing blue beams used by their ships from the footage.

"Please pardon my wording Admiral and Queen Aeria, but type II Civilization my ass." said the Terran rather unimpressed.

"I wouldn't say so, a lot of the technologies in the Persean Sector have stagnated and regressed after the collapse around 200 cycles ago." explained the Admiral shortly.

"Ah, yes the technologies, can you please tell me what the Human Domain has left behind?" asked the Terran wanting to know what the GTVA could find in the Persean Sector.

Queen Aeria looked at him with a knowing smile.

"Is this a personal interest or the interest of the GTVA that I hear there Lt. Commander Wolf." asked the Queen knowing full well that the GTVA would jump at the opportunity to get their hands on technology of a type II Civilization if it can help them survive and ensure a better future for their people.

"While I myself am curious what a type II Civilization can make, I mainly have to think about the many citizens of the GTVA that I have sworn a oath to serve and protect." replied the GTVA Officer honestly.

Admiral Solvernia coughed again to gain both their attention once more.

"While I believe that talking about the Technologies of the Human Domain is an interesting topic it whould simply take too long therefore I will forward all necessary informations towards the computer interface inside your guest quarters. I would like to ask Lieutenant Commander, have there been any sort of rebellions after you lost contact with your homeworld?" asked the Admiral knowing that they simply have not the time talking about the technologies.

Wolf looked at her before breathing a short sigh.

"Yes there had been two rebellions, I hoped that this would be a topic for our diplomats. The first rebellion happened shortly after the end of the Great War where rouge elements of the Galactic Terran Intelligence tried to overthrow the GTA Government via the use of a new type of Destroyer called the GTD Hades. This very capital ship used captured Shivan Beam Weapons. The Hades Rebellion, as we called it, came to a close after the ship was finally destroyed. But the damage was already done, the GTA splintered and only got formed again with the signing of the BETAC." replied the Terran.

"I can understand that this topic is pretty hard to talk about, first you lose your homeworld and than a part of your own Intelligence tires to overthrow the Government it swore to protect. I am very glad that something like this didn't happened to the UAF after we ended up in the Persean Sector." spoke Queen Aeria warmly in understanding that the topic is hard to talk about.

"What about the other Rebellion, Lieutenant Commander?" asked Admiral Solvernia slowly. She could feel that this one is even worse than the other.

"The Neo-Terran Front Rebellion, this Rebellion started around 22 months ago when Admiral Aken Bosch CO of the GTVA 6th Fleet stationed in the Polaris system overthrew the local system government via a military coup. The Neo-Terran Front was originally a political party in the GTA that wanted to make Polaris III our new Earth. After the military coup the systems Regulus and Sirius joined with the Neo-Terran Front. At first this was an internal problem the GTA tired to resolve by using diplomatic ways to reintegrate these systems, but all this ended when the NTF started to attack the nearby Vasudan Systems, attacking civilians which is a direct violation of BETAC." explained Wolf.

"It became an armed conflict and than the Shivans, I... feel very sorry for you and your people." explained Queen Aeria sincerely.

"You did mention this Aken Bosch yesterday and called him very crazy. I can understand that he broke his oath with this coup but calling him crazy for that?" asked Admiral Solvernia

"It was Aken Bosch who activated an unknown Ancient Megastructure that connected the Gamma Draconis System with, from what we believe, the crab nebula. This very nebula was under control of the Shivans." answered Wolf back.

"He basically unleashed these monsters onto his own people and is therefore responsible for the death of millions. He also almost got our own people killed. I... can understand why he is considered a mad man." spoke Queen Aeria softly while in her mind she was enraged at this man.

"The NTF was all a smoke screen operation for him! He basically didn't even cared about what crimes he was committing! He saw his own people as cattle that he can use for his own ambitions! He used the idea of Neo-Terra to win the support of my entire Generation! His true goal was to break the Alliance with the Vasudans and ally Humanity with the Shivans. I mean how disillusioned must someone be to try and ally themselves with beings that are perhaps responsible for the extinction of multiple species in our galaxy!" exclaimed the Terran as he stood up from his chair to make a point on how much he loathed Aken Bosch and his goals.

Both Admiral Solvernia and Queen Aeria stared at the outburst of the Terran. They could understand that this topic is clearly unsettling for the GTVA Lieutenant Commander.

The bulkhead opened and the two Royal Guards stared into the room.

Queen Aeria made a quick hand gesture that everything is alright.

The bulkhead closed again.

After slowing his breathing and calming down Wolf slowly sat down again his expression apologetic.

"I am very sorry for this outburst, it was unprofessional and emotional." could the Terran only say as he sat down.

"I can understand, through this Bosch's actions we almost lost our own Capital." assured him Queen Aeria.

"How did you not fall to the NTF Propaganda if it was directed towards your Generation, Wolf." asked Solvernia her tone more warmly.

"Well, I am a German, my culture had in its past already a people's man who used grand speeches to gain support for his own ambitions. It may have happened many centuries ago, but the crimes that were committed under his leadership will never be forgotten by my culture to ensure that they will never happen again." explained Wolf his reasons why he always was skeptical of the Neo-Terran politic party.

Both Admiral and Queen looked at each other asking themselves what a German is before turning their attention back to the Pilot.

"Where you able to at least apprehend this Bosch?" asked Solvernia knowing well that the man is a severe intelligence risk for all the things he as former Admiral would know about.

"Sadly no, Bosch fled into the nebula when we saw us forced to deploy the GTVA Colossus. He and his entire remaining fleet run a gauntlet through multiple GTVA subspace node blockages until only he and his unique Frigate, the NTF Iceni, was left. He managed to enter the nebula and later on, after we managed to destroy the first Sathanas we received an SOS signal. Turns out Bosch has somehow managed to talk with the Shivans and he and his command crew were brought via a Shivan ship deeper into Shivan territory. I was part of the Operation to save the rest of his crew he left behind to get slaughtered by the Shivans. We were able to save them. After that the Shivans blew up Capella." informed the GTVA Pilot both the Queen and Admiral.

Both stared at him knowing now that communication is indeed possible instead of what the Terran earlier has said.

"Lieutenant Commander, you told us earlier that communication is not possible with the Shivans. But you now tell us that it did work. I don't know what else you are not telling us." said Admiral Solvernia slightly distrustful with an edge to her voice and her eyes narrowed at the Terran.

"I know that I wasn't completely truthfully with this communication thing towards you, but I am a military officer who has to stand in obedience to the Deneb Convention. I of course would not have withhold informations if innocent lives are at stake. The thing is even after Bosch was able to communicate with the Shivans they simply proceeded with the destruction of Capella. I honestly don't know, perhaps the device he used is the very reason why he acted the way he did. Perhaps he got indoctrinated through it. The GTVI has made it highly classified for how dangerous it appears to be." replied the Terran earnestly while looking straight at Admiral Solvernia.

Seeing no sign of lying or attempt to mislead her the Admiral let out a sign.

"Alright. I believe you on that. If the Shivans are truly such an old alien species who knows what they can do. With the fact that they still blew up Capella after communication like you stated tells me that they do whatever they want to do no matter the consequences. While I will keep this whole communication thing in mind I will unlike this Aken Bosch not look into a way to establish it. Perhaps you did right not telling us about it over an open Comm-link, the last thing we need is some high ranking UAF member to turn on us. You also committed in helping out in saving our capital for no monetary gain like some other people in the Persean Sector like to do." replied Admiral Solvernia with a small smile her demeanor more friendly compared seconds before.

Queen Aeria was watching the whole conversation with rapt attention before something in her mind made her think of something very weird.

"Talking about the Sathanas, why did only one ship started to attack us directly?" asked the Queen rather puzzled out loud.

"They were testing us/you." replied both Solvernia and Wolf at the same time.

Both Admiral and Lt. Commander looked at each other for a short second before Admiral Solvernia turned back towards her Queen.

"My Queen, what I think with the Shivans attacking the GTVA and us with one single Sathanas first is a way to see how much of a threat we are to them. I think that the Shivans will return. The question is not if but the question is when." informed the Admiral her Queen.

"The Admiral is right, the Sathanas Fleet lost most of its initial Fighter and Bombers in Capella. That what you saw was a mere shadow of the actual complement that the Fleet can have. From what I can guess they are now building the new subspace network and search perhaps for a nebula where they can rebuild their losses. Who knows maybe they even commit to build a new SD Lucifer." affirmed Wolf the Admirals prediction.

At the mention of the SD Lucifer both the Admiral and Queen stared in horror at the Terran. Wolf saw their expressions.

"While the SD Lucifer is a dangerous foe, newer GTVA weapon systems are much stronger than 32 cycles ago. Even our almost 2 centuries old Orion Class Destroyers can potentially take on such an foe thanks to Beam cannon retrofits. Newer Ships like the GTD Hecate-class and GVD Hatshepsut-class should be able to deal with one thanks to them being brand new and work directly together to compensate for the others weakness. Together they have enough Fighters and Bombers to make any Shivan Destroyer rethink it's approach into GTVA Space. As I said before the GTVA Colossus was meant to take on multiple SD Lucifer at the same time. Also from what I was able to see yesterday the YRNFS Solvernia VII should be able to easily handle a SD Lucifer." explained Wolf trying to reassure both the Admiral and Queen that the future isn't bleak.

This thankfully calmed both down until one part of what Wolf told them made both very surprised.

"Wait, you can put weapons from an highly advanced alien civilization onto an two centuries old warship design?" asked both the Admiral and Queen at same time making them look at each other for a short second.

"The Orion Class Destroyers are considered by my people the pride of Terran engineering, they may look like a big gray brick and are old but they can house thanks to retrofits enough broadside fire power to make others double check if they really want to fight them. Even the Vasudan Typhon Class from back than can't handle the new Beam cannons. Sadly a lot of our Orion's had to be destroyed by the GTVA Colossus even after given the chance to surrender during the NTF Rebellion." explained Wolf first with pride and than sorrow.

"From your expression the destruction of these Destroyers are considered a massive loss, am I right?" asked Admiral Solvernia having seen from the first contact massage that most of these Destroyers where large capital ships, not as large as the YRNFS Solvernia VII but comparable to typical other UAF Capital Ships.

"Yes, as example the money to build an Orion Class Destroyer is equal to the entire ships crews salary for three years. But what is the most tragic thing is that normally Destroyers have an crew of 10.000 Officers." explained Wolf his head once again lowered in sorrow.

Both Admiral and Queen could only look at the Terran, it is clear to them that the GTVA doesn't directly deploy AI on their ships. But 10.000 people and such massive costs? That is truly a tragic loss when one of these Destroyers gets destroyed.

"You Terrans and Vasudans, are you perhaps against the usage of AI?" asked Queen Aeria slowly, knowing how a part of the Persean Sector is openly hostile against their usage of AI. With AER-1A, Empress and their Neuko Automata Battle Group being a substantial part off their civilization.

"No, there is no direct laws against AI, both our peoples civilian sector and the before mentioned GTS Hygeia use forms of AI. We are just a little cautious about using truly sophisticated AI on ships that have Beam cannons who have the damage output in the double digits of GT. Than there was Empress yesterday, she truly showed me how useful someone like her would be in the GTVA. I mean she stopped an apocalyptic Torpedo and saved millions of lives. If we had someone like her we would have not so many civilian casualties during the Great War." explained Wolf slightly more upbeat with the change in subject.

"Understandable, we are truly grateful for AER-1A and Empress being both reliable and trustworthy AI. Perhaps in the future the UAF can help the GTVA with developing AI that can become an integral part of both your people's society. But for now we should firstly concentrate on increasing your people's ships cyber security as there are Rouge AI and other entities that employ them in the Persean Sector." explained the Queen feeling as if a great wight just got lifted off her shoulders with the GTVA not being directly against their form of living.

She remembered how easily Empress was able to assume direct control of the GTVA Fighter, imagine what would happen if one of their Bombers carrying one of these weapons the Terran can't tell them get overtaken. If a 3.1 GT Torpedo is common what types of explosive can the GTVA employ else?

"Lieutenant Commander Wolf, from what we were able to scan from your Fighter it is quite an interesting ship, alone our prediction on secondary missile load out thanks to its missile banks is staggering." explained Admiral Solvernia which brought Queen Aeria out of her thoughts.

"Both us Terrans and Vasudans have started to use missile banks in all our Fighter and Bomber designs during the Terran-Vasudan War. As example my Fighter can carry in both of its missile banks 64 missiles of the GTM-19 Harpoon missile system, imagine this amount of missiles on a design with conventional hard point pylons, the entire Fighters underside would basically be covered in layers of missiles." explained Wolf with a small laugh.

Admiral Solvernia also imagined something like this and couldn't keep her self form forming a smirk.

"From what I can see your Fighter is relatively new and could be considered to be a high performance Interceptor, am I right about this?" asked Solvernia having already made this assumption before hand.

"While yes, the GTF Perseus is our latest addition to the GTVA Fighter arsenal and has shown its worth in the NTF Rebellion and second Shivan incursion. I was part of the last stage OpEval testing and while the Fighter is mass produced like all Fighters and Bombers, it's abilities have shown us Pilots that it is not simply an high-performance Interceptor but can easily take the spot as space superiority Fighter with multi role aspects." explained Wolf elated at speaking about a topic that of course with him being a Fighter Pilot interested.

"We Terrans are very proud of our adaptability and as Fighter Pilots we are allowed to choose our Fighter and it's primary and secondary load out ourselves as long as it is not mission critical." explained the Pilot further.

"That is an interesting concept, by that explanation the Fighter of one Pilot can use different weapon system than another even when they are part of the same Squadron. That makes it harder for enemies to adapt." compiled Admiral Solvernia impressed.

"It also looks rather beautiful." stated Queen Aeria having seen the Fighter when it was shortly visible to her in New November City and in the port-side Fighter Hangar bay. The Fighter had an almost alien elegance thanks to its sleek design with clear Human elements. It was clear to her that the Fighter borrowed clearly design elements from the Vasudans. For her Vasudan ships where an interesting topic especially their Hatshepsut-class even for their wierd and hard to say name.

"Thank you Queen Aeria, the Fighter is my most favorite Fighter out of all the ones the GTVA employs. While the Vasudan Fighters I was able to fly during the OEP are faster, the GTF Perseus doesn't falls over by a stiff breeze. Then there are Fighters like the GTF Hercules mark II and the GTF Erinyes who do have more primary and secondary load out options but they are much slower and are not able to commit to atmospheric flight." stated Wolf about his Fighter and several others he had been flying during his career.

That made Admiral Solvernia raise an eyebrow in surprise, if she recalled the footage she could remember that there were Fighters that used their primary and missile secondary weapons as means to attack capital ships. Now that She thought about it these Fighters had no wings.

When she looked over to her desk and clock it was telling her that it is already 2234 AST.

"While I believe that there are many questions I and Queen Aeria still have, I think it is rather late. We should end this meeting. I believe the Lieutenant Commander has much to write for his report which he probably wants to do ASAP." explained Admiral Solvernia knowing that Wolf will want to try to get into contact with his own people and make sure that they know that he is still alive.

Queen Aeria looked like she wanted to object and ask so many more questions but Solvernia was right it was getting late. But there was one Question she still definitely wanted to ask.

"Just one more question, Lieutenant Commander Wolf you look rather young for someone of your rank could you please tell me why, if you wish you do not have to answer my question." asked the Queen a question that had been on her mind the very moment she saw the Terran when she turned around.

Wolf looked at her, he might as well say it now as most likely if they do make contact with the GTVA they will get his Profile anyways.

"I am 25 Terran standard years old and enlisted in the Flight Academy at the common GTA enlistment age of 21. Training in the Academy takes 4 Terran standard years. Basically I ended my training and became a Fighter Pilot as typical Ensign in the 53rd Hammerheads Squadron at the 18th month of the NTF Rebellion. That was now 4 to 5 months ago." explained Wolf to both of them, he could see that Admiral Solvernia and Queen Aeria where listening with attention until both raised their eyebrows.

"Hold on! Does this means you made it to the rank of Lieutenant Commander in only 4 to 5 months!" exclaimed both the Admiral and the Queen at the same time in surprise.

"Yes, I am as some people say, a damn good Fighter Pilot. I flew 35 missions not just directly for both the GTA and GVE but also for the Special Operations Command of the GTVI. But I can assure you that I am not a spy. My 5 missions for the SOC were more in the direction of helping out an GTVI Operative against the NTF and once the Shivans got involved it was mostly reconnaissance or rescue missions behind enemy lines. I almost got killed multiple times during my missions for the SOC." explained Wolf his rather Comet-like rise in his fighter pilot career.

Both Admiral Solvernia and Queen Aeria kept staring at him.

Wolf looked back at them feeling slightly embarrassed.

"Maybe, I should go?" asked the Terran more to himself than the two woman who are still staring back at him.

That finally brought both Admiral Solvernia and Queen Aeria out of their staring.

"Yes, I do believe it is time as it is rather late. Thank you for answering our questions." stated Admiral Solvernia with a small smile on her face.

"Yes Solvii is right, but Lieutenant Commander if by some means you are not able to reach the GTVA, don't worry there is always a place among the UAF waiting for you." assured him Queen Aeria with a bright smile even when she still has so many questions.

"Thank you Queen Aeria for this reassurance, it means a lot to me to know that I have a place to call home if things don't work out." thanked Wolf the Queen earnestly.

Bidding his farewell to both the Admiral and Queen, Wolf will definitely get to work on his report imeadatly even if he has to work through the entire night to finish it.
