"Why were you both in a yard sale, if you have an owner?" Evil Masked Figure echoed in suspicion.
"We weren't supposed to be down there, for your information." Braedimus growled at him. "We were trying to rescue another toy from there-"
"Is it because she was damaged? Hmm?" Evil Masked Figure asked, now seeing Daphne's broken arm. "Did this Braedey break you?"
"No!" Daphne immediately held her broken arm. "That was an accident-"
"Sounds like he 'really' loves you." Velma mocked.
"It's not like that, okay?!" Daphne snarled. "You don't know him like we do! And no matter what you tell me, we are not getting to any museum!"
"Well, I'M not going back into storage!!!" Striker screamed out.
"Fine by me." Daphne snapped, just as the sound of a door opened outside the doors to the room, making everyone freeze, and look to the door.
That could only mean one thing...
"It's Al! He's coming!" Evil Masked Figure realised. Braedimus Prime and Daphne gasped, both now looking to the door, as they heard the approaching footsteps getting closer and closer from outside.
"Everyone! Get back to your places, and hurry." Braedimus instructed.
"Let's go!" Ratchet acknowledged.
"Go. Go on, Velma." Evil Masked Figure told Velma, who was hesitant to jump back into the box, fearing the idea of being put back into storage. "Velma, look at me." The glasses-wearing looked over to the Evil Masked Figure. "I promise, you will come out of the box. Now, GO! NOW!"
The Mystery Inc. toys all jump back into the box, while the Autobots immediately head off over to the box they were packed into beforehand. Braedimus and Daphne both climb into their glass cabinet case, and just as they closed it and got into their position, Al walked in, armed with a camera in his hand.
"It's showtime!" Al announced, holding up the camera.
Soon, Al began to set up the figures and toys into position. He did plan to go for the Transformers, but he opted to go ahead and get the Mystery Inc. characters set up for their pictures. Fred and Velma on the left and right, whilst Scooby and Shaggy were in the middle, a scale-model Mystery Machine parked up behind them, now leaving an empty space for Daphne.
"Money, baby. Money, money, money." Al laughed manically, then he heads over to the glass case. "And now, the main attraction." He opened the case, and he pulled Daphne out, unaware of something going on. Al goes and places the redhead in the centre, But as he does so, he saw something that made him freeze: Daphne's whole right arm was gone!!
"NO!" Al screamed out, looking around for the missing limb. "Her arm! Where's her arm?" He soon found it down on the floor, but he couldn't put it back on. "What am I gonna do?!" He then had an idea, as he put Daphne down on the counter, and he whipped out his phone. He dialled a number, and waited for a second, putting Daphne's arm in the front pocket of his shirt. "Come on! Come on! Come on! Pick up the phone!"
"Hello?" A voice responded on the phone.
"Its me. It's Al." Al replied frantically. "I've got an emergency here."
"Well, I'm busy-" The voice spoke back.
"Look, we're all busy-" Al sighed in frustration. "Look, it has to be tonight." With that, he began to make his way to the door. "Alright, alright! But, first thing in the morning." He stated, then he slammed the door shut.
Just as that happened, Daphne screams out on horror, looking at her limbless right shoulder, and immediately got to her feet. "It's gone!" She cried out, everyone else making their way to the table at all. "My arm! It's completely gone!"
"Let me see." Ratchet now walked up, and knelt down next to her. "Let me take a look at this." He examined the damage, and he held onto Daphne's left hand as the redhead waits for the result. "Oh, you've got yourself a popped seam. It's easily repairable." He said to her.
"You should consider yourself lucky, young lady." Evil Masked Figure added as Ratchet walked away.
"Lucky?!" Daphne asked to the chrome-headed figure in the box as if he had two heads. "What are you - shrink-wrapped or something in there? I AM MISSING MY WHOLE RIGHT ARM!!" She yelled out.
"Big deal." Velma spoke up, making everyone look over to her.
Velma was holding a dart gun with a plunger dart loaded up. She pulls the trigger, and the dart flew into the air, and landed on a Daphne poster, right in the middle of the forehead. Bumblebee gives a thumbs up in response to this.
"Let them go." Velma turned to the others with a look of disdain and annoyance. "I'm sure their precious Braedey is dying to play with a one-armed girl's toy. That is, if he still plays with dolls." She scoffed.
Daphne held her right shoulder, now feeling her breath hitched in her throat, as Braedimus held her left shoulder. He eyed the grip in the orange sweater with narrowed optics, not liking her attitude.
"That's enough, Velma!" Evil Masked Figure stated firmly. "You know she won't last more than an hour on the streets in her current condition." He looked to the Prime and the redhead. "It's a dangerous world out there for a toy." He told them
Braedimus sighed. "Fine. We'll stay for the evening." He gently took Daphne up in his arms, and he walks them off to the glass cases, the others watching on.
Late in the evening, out on an empty suburban street, Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody were hiding in the bushes, waiting for the coast to be clear. Once it was clear, the two friends sprint over to the mailbox nearby. They hide behind it, and Buzz now signalled the others to move out.
First, racing out of the bushes was Lightning McQueen and Mater. Without any headlights, and with his quick speed, Lightning was across and over to the mailbox in as quick as a flash, and Mater's backwards driving came in handy driving over to the two figures. Once clear, Mater flashes his single headlight to signal the coast is clear.
Next up, it was Rex, who was disguised as a bush. He saw the light flash, and he started to make his way over to the mailbox. But, as he does so, his disguise was starting to fall apart. As soon as he reached the box, he was left with only holding a leaf. He looks at it, then chuckles sheepishly as he threw the leaf away.
Finally, it was Jennifer and Ken, plus Slinky, Mr. Potato Head, and Hamm. The two animal-human hybrid toys snuck their way along at speed. Slinky, well, slinked his way along quietly, as Potato Head and Hamm made their way behind him. But, halfway there, Hamm tripped over, spilling his cork and coins, and making Potato Head stop and look at what had happened.
"Alright, nobody look until I get my cork back in." Hamm grumbled out loud, as he turned his body around in the opposite direction so he could collect his coins and his cork.
"Well, we're all here." Jennifer informed.
After that, Buzz whipped out the map, showing how far they are from Al's Toy Barn. "Good work, everyone." He told them. "Two blocks down, and another nineteen more to go."
"What?" The others excluding Woody, Ken, and Jennifer, complain to the Space Ranger. "Nineteen?"
"Are we gonna do this all night?" Potato Head grumbled aloud and sat down, holding his left foot. "My parts are killing me."
"Come on, fellas." Jennifer spoke up. "We can't just stop now."
"Did Braedimus or Daphne give up when Sid had Buzz strapped to a rocket?" Woody now asked them.
"No." The others groaned in unison.
"No! And did they give up when you threw Woody and Daphne out of the back of that moving van?" Buzz now asked next.
Potato Head groaned. "Oh, you had to bring that up." He muttered out loud in annoyance.
"No, they didn't!" Ken stated firmly.
Buzz now stood tall, him looking powerful and mighty. "We have two friends in need. And we will not rest until they are safe in Braedey's room! Now, let's move out!" He declared.
With that, Buzz, Woody, Lightning, Mater, Jennifer, Ken, Rex, Hamm, Slinky, and Potato Head all continue on their epic rescue mission to Al's Toy Barn.
Back in Al's collection apartment, Al was fast asleep on the couch, whilst the TV was left on and was stuck on a channel that had no signal. Over by their glass cases, Braedimus and Daphne look over to the sleeping man, and they could see Daphne's right arm was still tucked into his shirt pocket. This is their chance to get it back and to find a way out of here and get back to Braedey's house.
"Let's go get my arm." Daphne whispered.
"Okay. Follow my every move and turn. And whatever you do, do not make a sound." Braedimus told Daphne.
"Got it." Daphne nodded.
The two gently push open their glass cases, and slowly climbed down to the floor, quietly and efficiently. Daphne and Braedimus began to slowly make their way across the floor, taking their time and being as silent as they can be, until they heard a light sneeze come from behind them, making the two freeze. They quickly turn around, and they spotted Scooby behind them.
"Scooby-Doo?" Braedimus questioned.
"Scooby!" Daphne whispered to him. "Go! Go, go, go!" She sighed, and she walked over to him. "Scooby, you don't want to help the two of us. We're the bad guys, remember? You're gonna go back into storage because of us. Remember? Now, go back to your case."
"Ret me help." Scooby asked, him standing up on his back legs like a person.
Daphne sighed. "Okay. But, please, you have got to keep quiet." She instructed, Scooby nodding back.
With that, the three of them began to make their way over to the couch. Once there, Braedimus knelt down on one knee, helps the redhead up to the couch, and Daphne carefully climbed up to Al's chest. Scooby nodded once he saw Daphne is up on the couch, and after Braedimus gave him a flash of his headlight, as if he was winking, the Great Dane toy now heads black to his case.
Slowly but surely, Daphne managed to get to her arm. She gave a light snicker to herself given the situation as she reaches over to Al's shirt pocket to get her arm. 'Talk about giving myself a hand.' She thought to herself, and she grabbed her broken arm by the wrist. 'Come to mama...' Slowly, she quickly and carefully pulls her arm out of the shirt pocket, and she held it close to her. "Phew."
But, the TV suddenly turned on, making Daphne and Braedimus both freeze and look at the television, and the loud music of the 'What's New, Scooby-Doo?' theme song echoed from the box tv.
Al immediately awoke with a startle, and he stumbled to his feet. "No, please! Officer! I swear." He muttered, then as his eyes adjusted to his surroundings, while also adjusting his glasses, he gasped when he saw Braedimus and Daphne, the former now in robot mode, and the latter's right arm next to her. Al sighed, and he walked over to the two toys. He picked up the two and broken arm, and helped placed them back in their cases. "There you two go. Cheap cases." He closed the cases, and helped began to look for the remote. "Where's the remote? Where's the remote?!" Al grumbled.
Braedimus and Daphne look over to the other's glass cases, and saw the TV remote was now in front of Velma's glass case. Daphne scowled in anger, but she and Braedimus froze back in place as Al walked up.
"Why don't I put it in the same place every ti-- Oh, here it is." Al now walked over to the cases, picked up the remote and he turned the TV off, and helped headed off to his apartment bedroom.
Daphne then saw Al had her arm, much to her shock, as Al closed the door and locked it. The redhead eyed the girl in the orange sweater in her case in anger, her hand against the glass of her case. Then, she storms out of her case, Braedimus just behind her, and she stomps over to Velma's case.
"What is your problem?!" Daphne yelled out in anger, everyone else looking on at her. "Look, I'm sorry that Braedimus and I can't help you guys out with this little situation. Really, we are, but you didn't have to go and pull a stupid stunt like that." She spat out.
Velma seemed confused that she was being accused of what just happened in the last few seconds. "What? You think... I did that?" She asked out of bewilderment.
Daphne scoffed aloud at her innocence. "Oh, don't be so innocent, four-eyes. Somehow, the television just happened turned on by itself, and the remote magically ended up in front of your case."
Velma's face scowled. "Are you calling me a liar?" She asked angrily.
"If the big fat boot fits..." Daphne spoke out.
Everyone went silent. They all looked to the redhead in shock. They've never thought Daphne would ever say something like that.
"Ruh-oh." Scooby immediately jumped out of his case, then he leaped into a Mystery Machine cookie jar nearby, hiding from sight before things get ugly.
Velma narrowed her eyes behind her glasses at Daphne, whilst an angry look crossed her face. "Say. That. Again." She dared.
Daphne rolled her eyes. "If the big fat boot... fits." She enunciated.
Velma rolled her shoulders and cracked her knuckles. "Okay then, damsel." She challenged.
"Zoinks! Like, I'm with you, Scoob." Shaggy quickly jumps into the cookie jar also, and the two watched on.
Velma suddenly leaped out of her case with to a yell, tackling Daphne to the ground. The two go for a tumble for a short moment, but Daphne managed to kick the Velma off her. Even with a missing arm, she can still throw a good punch. Velma gets back up and charged at her again, but Daphne managed to kick the girl in the orange sweater in the chest. Velma stumbled back, but then glared before she lunged forward tackled the redhead down.
"How do you like that?" Velma dared, then jammed her foot against Daphne's back, whilst holding her only arm and pulls back. "Take it back! Take it back!"
"Just because you're a girl, I'm not taking it back." Daphne snapped, only for Velma to pull on her arm and jam her heel into the redhead's back, making her yell out.
"Daphne, that's enough!" Braedimus ran forward.
"You two, cut it out!" Fred jumps into the fray.
"Velma! Daphne!" Evil Masked Figure ordered in addition. "You two stop this at once!" But, he leans doe adds his box soon tipped over, and as the two girls separated, he fell over between them.
Velma and the others immediately helped to get Evil Masked Figure's box back standing upright, whilst Braedimus got Daphne to her feet, and cleaned her up. The Autobots were also there, looking on at what had just happened beforehand.
"I do not know how the television had turned on in the first place, but fighting about is not going to solve anything." Evil Masked Figure spoke up to everyone.
Daphne growled in anger, pointing at Velma, who had crossed her arms and had a smug expression. "If I had both of my arms, I will beat you up until you're black and blue in the face!" She told her and points firmly.
"But, the fact is you don't have your arm, Daphne." Evil Masked Figure spoke back to the redhead. "So, I will suggest that you and Braedimus Prime just wait until morning. The cleaner will come along, then fix your arm and make you new, and then-"
"And we'll both be taking the next train back to Reality-Ville, and leaving this crazy place for good!" Braedimus announced, cutting Evil Masked Figure off.
Scooby whined a little, then looked down to the ground, his ears drooping down, while Bumblebee looks away. Daphne now noticed this. "Oh. Scooby, Bumblebee. Don't take it that way." She told him. "Its just that Braedey-"
"Braedey, Braedey, Braedey." Velma immediately cuts the redhead off, walking off with Scooby. "That's all they ever talk about." She scoffed aloud.
Daphne wanted to say something, but she couldn't. She sighed sadly to herself, then she felt Braedimus' hand on her left shoulder. She looked to him, her showing a soft yet sad smile, and the two head off to their glass cases for the night.
"Is it wrong of us to keep them here?" Arcee now asked to Ratchet and Bulkhead, but they didn't answer.
