Hidden Agenda & Strategic Change
General Thad didn't like what Johnson was going to ask. From adjusting his eyes slightly and altering his mind, Thad decided to present his social side more than a demanding demeanor.
Gen. Thad says, "Yes, I know of them. But I'm busy with other reports that demand my attention. I'll answer only two questions from you and that is it. What do you want to know?"
A. Paragon Option: What is the organization about?
B. Neutral Option: What can you tell me?
C. Renegade Option: What are you hiding?
Johnson asks, "What do you know about the Chimera Organization?"
Gen. Thad answers, "The Chimera Organization strives to make all species able to endure the harshest landscapes by studying the planets. The goal is to be better than you are, and they are well funded; they are a secretive bunch that not many leaders know of unless they trust you."
A. Paragon Option: Where do they live at?
B. Neutral Option: When do you see them?
C. Renegade Option: Can I talk to them?
Johnson asks, "Where is their base of operations at?"
The very mention of their location forces Thad to give Johnson a small tablet, "My time is up, and I am busy with other matters. My shuttle is here, but you can have this. Go bother someone else on your own time."
As fast as Gen. Thad gave Johnson what he wanted, he climbs in his shuttle and flies away into the sky. This is all new for him, but Johnson is not ready to give up. He looks at the tablet and reads:
"Project Geth Reconstruction is underway, but the results are proving pointless right now. I am heading to a new facility in the Inalaara system to see how our specimens are doing. Once I am there, I will contact you and update when possible."
Not many people fly to the Inalaara system, but this sounds like it is more than a surprise visit, and why would Gen. Thad give Johnson an opportunity to see more of the word being done. Before Johnson and his team go rushing off, he decides to visit his family and check on them. Groax and Meika didn't mind tagging along, but they would not linger for too long. Johnson takes a walk down memory lane where he recalls every moment he enjoyed when living in Advent. From riding a hover bike to working at the security office in the town hall, Johnson was feeling too relaxed to be home. He tried calling his family up, but his time was cut short since everyone was busy. His father was working at the machine shop in the metal zone while his mother was at work in the flight system port. As for his brother and sister, they had their own family time to deal with. The last and obvious question they asked him: "When are you going to settle down with someone?"
It was good to see home for the next few hours and get the latest news, but they had to hurry up and leave for the Inalaara system. After gathering what they needed, the trio left for the landing port and flew back to Prodromos. By the time they were on the Spirit Star, Johnson gives the coordinates to Jim leading to the Inalaara system. After a two-hour jump, they arrive in the system and search for the facility. They pick up some static on the Tobonoor planet. It is quite an unusual spot but it makes perfect sense to have a building on a glacier planet where a kett outpost once was at. Jim prepares to fly by the open landscape as Johnson and his team prepare to land drop in the nomad. Johnson, Zor'Kin, and Groax climb aboard the vehicle and drop hard onto the surface. It is cold and freezing on the surface with degrees less than 30. The heaters are at full strength as they travel through the ice territory, seeing many things frozen over. Everything is going fine until they pick up radio broadcasts.
The first broadcast announces, "To all personal, we are ready to transport our first batch to General Thad. Be ready."
Everyone locks and loads their weapons just in case they come across any more monsters that may be lose. They come to the bottom of the outpost and see that they must do up to reach the top; they drive the nomad up, but it is a dangerous journey up a glacier mountain. There are a few close calls, but they make it to a safe point. They leave the nomad and rush towards the entrance as they keep their body as warm as they can. They encounter a door, but it is locked. Zor'Kin runs a bypass on the console and manages to open the door. Groax and Johnson step inside with Zor'Kin following closely behind them, locking the door. A small guard and two agents step up to them and question why they are there.
The man asks, "Who the hell are you? This is a restricted area."
A. Paragon Choice: I was told to come here.
B. Neutral Choice: I was in the area.
C. Renegade Choice: I go where I want.
Johnson replies, "I received a tablet from general Thad to come here. Is he here?"
The man says, "No, he isn't here; however, you can't leave now that you came here."
Before the man reaches for his side arm, Groax pulls out his cannon and blows him away. The two guards try to attack, but Groax puts them down.
Zor'Kin asks, "Was that really a good idea? We won't know what they are doing here."
Groax answers, "We don't need to know what they are doing here. It is time to shut them down and let everyone know about this place."
A. Paragon Choice: Let's collect everything and share the news.
B. Neutral Choice: Let's keep everything to ourselves.
C. Renegade Choice: Let's destroy this place.
Johnson says, "We will download anything and send it to people across Heleus. They may find out more about the Chimera Organization."
The team advances inside the massive hall; they encounter security drones and more seucirty agents ready to eliminate them as they try to search for anything useful. Groax is having a fun time killing random human and non-human security agents. Though Johnson understands the security is trying to stop them, he sees them hiding something more than just secrets. After eliminating another wave of security, the team comes to two doors. One door reads: Sector 1. The other door has no writing on it. Johnson and his team enter through sector 1 door and encounter several people at work. The place looks like a labotory, but nothing is certain.
A. Paragon Choice: All of you leave now. (Scientists live)
B. Neutral Choice: What kind of lab is this?
C. Renegade Choice: You all will die now. (Kill scientists)
Johnson steps to the side and says, "If you want to live, get out of this room right now and leave everything."
The innocent people rush out the door with Groax anxious to shoot them, but Johnson orders him to not harm anyone.
Groax grumbles, "You could've let me kill them."
As they explore the room, the hear the door lock behind them. Several monitors flash and general Thad pops up on screen. Johnson and his team stand before the main screen.
Gen. Thad says, "I am glad you came here of your own free will. Now, you can't leave that place alive. I am elsewhere and you won't find me but know this. Your death will be recorded to your leaders. Goodbye."
Zor'Kin accesses a nearby panel and learns they have ten minutes to leave, or they can shut down the bomb with the main computer. The team rushes over to another room, and they find not only the main computer, but a large bomb right next to it. Zor'Kin quickly rushes to it and recognizes the device made with human and kett technology. As he works on the device, Johnson and Groax provide him with assistance. In five minutes, they managed to stop the bomb.
A. Paragon Choice: Good job, Zor'Kin.
B. Neutral Choice: We should've ran.
C. Renegade Choice: Gen Thad will die.
Johnson says, "Great work, Zor'Kin. I am glad you are here."
Zor'Kin says, "It was nothing I can't handle. But now that we are safe, let's check out this place and find out everything about it."
Zor'Kin start pulling information from the computer while Groax looks for more bad guys to kill. Johnson comes to a file and studies it. At the top is a code with the initials PGR. After everything was done and downloaded to the Spirit Star, the team got ready to leave. As they come back to the hall, the team looks at the last door they didn't enter.
DLC Mission: Project Geth Reconstruction
(Content available for $19.99. Choices do change the outcome of several events. Summary: The door in the glacier mountain is holding a secret. Johnson and his team have the code to look inside, but how far will they go?)
Johnson approaches the large door they didn't enter. It has nothing displaying on it, but there is a small panel next to it.
Groax says, "This is one of those empty rooms. I guarantee you there is nothing inside."
Zor'Kin replies, "It won't hurt to look inside. We may find more equipment."
On the file, Johnson looks to see a code on there. He opens the panel and types in the numbers and hears the door slowly open. They see a small room with a narrow corridor leading down into the mountain. It is slightly warm and the walls have remnant technology covering it.
A. Paragon Choice: Let's investigate this.
B. Neutral Choice: We need to get others here.
C. Renegade Choice: Time to leave.
Johnson says, "This place looks interesting. Let's go down here and see what is so important to keep hidden?"
The trio moves down the first set of stairs and discovers a few remnant machines moving around. Before they can determine anything else, the bots turn on them and fire. They duck down behind anything that stops the lasers from hitting them; Groax returns fire at them and shakes off some damage. The krogan even tears a bot in half and moves up the field. The first group of bots are down, but they notice a few changes to them. The technology looks old and some of it is from human technology too. They go further to the rear of the room and find another door locked. It is impressive to find remnant technology inside this place; Zor'Kin points to the wall, showing them another panel. Like before, Johnson inputs the code and the door slides open. They advance slowly and keep their eyes open for anything that can come to them. The next room has a gravity elevator in the center; it is the same as the others that Path Finder Ryder found in the vaults. Unsure about how to activate it, they keep on moving forward.
They see more bots watching the area and engage them. Zor'Kin uses his own tech skills to cause them problems and hack a few to even the odds. Just when they thought things were over, two Remnant Nullifiers came out to fight with four Assemblers ready for combat. The fight forces Groax to cover the front while Zor'Kin does his best to hack the drones. Johnson goes to the highest point he can find and fires at the robots. A nullifier looks up at him and shoots energy at him; he nearly loses his balance, but Johnson stays firmly secure as they take down the robots with some difficulty. After the bots are down, Zor'Kin looks over one of them. The results leave him astonished yet curious.
Zor'Kin says, "These remnant robots look family like the ones we have encountered before, but the technology on them is combined with others. I can see human, kett, and remnant tech combined here."
Groax suggests, "It sounds like these remnant bots wanted to change more than just how they look."
A. Paragon Option: We need to keep going.
B. Neutral Option: This is useful for everyone.
C. Renegade Option: There is nothing useful.
Johnson replies, "This is just the beginning. I hope there are some answers to this and at the end of the searching we will continue. Let's move out."
Groax takes the lead with Johnson and Zor'Kin following close by. Each part of the place screams remnant tech that many engineers would love to pick at. They come to a new room, but it looks massive in size. All around them are pods, but they didn't know what was inside of them. Zor'Kin approaches a console to see if he can pull up anything. The information is scattering and looking too complex to understand. Johnson keeps his gun aiming around the area while Groax goes further into the place. A soft noise is made behind Johnson as he turns around to see a pod. He slowly walks up to it and shines light on it; Zor'Kin manages to pull up some data, but it surprised him. Groax looks down at the long hall and sees someone running.
The glass on the pod shatters as the being inside jumps at Johnson; he feels the being dig into his armor, tearing it from his body. Groax comes back in time and knocks the being off Johnson. With one cannon shot, he puts it down and sees a metal being on the ground. Zor'Kin pulls away from the console and rushes over to provide them news. They all look at the dead being, and it shocks Zor'Kin the most. The body looks human, but it is covered in remnant technology. The face isn't there and has a single circle instead.
Groax says, "Fuck, is that what I think it is?"
Zor'Kin says, "It can't be. There is no way."
A. Paragon Choice: That looks like them.
B. Neutral Choice: Don't be foolish.
C. Renegade Choice: Shake it off.
Johnson replies, "It is exactly what we see it as. Which means there are hundreds of them in here, waiting to get out. Let's find the main room and see if you can shut them down before Heleus has new problems to deal with."
Groax motions for them to follow him down the hall to where the main room is at. They run down the hallway, seeing them in rows of five going up by two stories. There seems to be no end to them, but they know where this is going to take them. They turn left to see the door close with someone in the shadows by the panel. They turn right and rush through the doorway and hurry down to the next hall. They take a sharp left and rush through the corridor before taking another left; they hear someone else running through the corridors with them above their head. To their right, they see the light and rush to it. Upon their arrival at the end, none of them can believe it nor want to accept what they see.
It is floating in the air and covered in remnant technology. The station is large, but there are plenty of remnant bugs crawling around and over it. This is something no one wanted to accept here in the Andromeda Galaxy and hidden in the Heleus cluster. Before anyone can interface with the console, a soft landing is heard from behind their backs. Johnson, Zor'Kin, and Groax turn around to face the mystery person. Zor'Kin is full of rage and madder than a fiend. Groax is anxious to fire away at the object; however, Johnson lowers his gun just a little bit. The form is thin with tubes around it with remnant tech covering the inner functions. It walks over with hands up, palms open. The words spoken to them are unbelievable.
"Don't shoot me, please. I didn't mean to frighten you."
A. Paragon Choice: Lower your guns. (Guns are lowered)
B. Neutral Choice: I'll wait and see what you do.
C. Renegade Choice: Fuck this shit. (Keep the guns up)
Johnson says, "It is alright. I want to hear this."
Zor'Kin coldly replies, "What is there to hear? This is a Geth Unit; they killed my people hundreds of years ago. Why is this here?"
Groax stands back, "If you want, I can let you have this one to yourself."
The Geth Unit says, "Please, hear me out. My name is Unit GTX, but you can call me Glitch. I have so much to explain to you."
Johnson keeps his arms down to hear Glitch tell the story. It is still shocking to know that a self-aware synthetic being from the Milky Way is here, known for its killing of several species.
Glitch continues, "Yes, I am a geth unit from the Milk Way. I came here thanks to another unit that made sure I was on board the Keelah Si'yah Ark. I was quite well hidden so no one could find me. Once the ark came here, I left the ship and drifted in space until I landed here on this planet. I didn't know or understand anything until a remnant robot merged with my core. Once I became self-aware, I stayed hidden here learning about everything in this new galaxy. I was activated no more than fifty years ago. The last thing I wanted to do was make myself known to the others."
Zor'Kin lowers his gun, "How was it possible that you were on Keelah Si'yah ark? We made that ark at the Hephaestus Station in the Caleston Rift. There were no signs of your kind there."
Glitch replies, "It is easy for us to sneak aboard a ship if it is still in the early stages of construction. As for myself, I made sure I hid in or rather on the easiest part of the ship. I placed myself right inside the flight arm of the ark and made myself appear to be a board. After we got here, I managed to get free of the arm and float for a while through the cluster. I was on my reserve power support until I came here. That is when a remnant robot woke me up with its technology by combining with my core; I learned all that I could about this galaxy using a small shuttle that I found abandoned in this world. If you need proof of what I did, check this data pad I put together. It starts from the moment when I was in the Milky Way and keeps going until I am here and woke up."
Johnson takes the data pad from it and lets Zor'Kin look through the information.
A. Paragon Choice: That's a crazy story.
B. Neutral Choice: This is unbelievable.
C. Renegade Choice: You are a threat.
Johnson says, "You have told us one story worth believing in, but it is too crazy to accept."
Zor'Kin steps forward and replies, "The story it is telling is true. But what did you mean about the last part of the data?"
Glitch raises its head up and flashes light. There are several buzzing noises in the area as the trio look up and stand back-to-back. To their surprise, groups of geth units climb from the wall and from the floating station. Johnson and Groax are speechless, but Zor'Kin wants to give every single one of them a virus. Glitch has thirty geth units surrounding them.
A. Paragon Choice: You are not alone.
B. Neutral Choice: There are more of them.
C. Renegade Choice: Hell no.
Johnson says, "Since when was there more of your kind here?"
Glitch answers, "When I became self-aware, I went around the cluster and found similar geth signatures in various place. For every geth unit I found, I brought them here and helped them become better. Now, we stand together and hope for a bright future. Please, do not kill any of my people. We may very well be the last of our kind since what happen in the last galaxy."
Zor'Kin replies, "The only future you need to see is your extinction."
Groax smiles eagerly, "I am down for this if you want to kill some geth and make this public with your people."
A. Paragon Interrupt: No one kills any geth.
B. Neutral Interrupt: Wait, there is a better way.
C. Renegade Interrupt: Kill them all.
Johnson says, "No! We don't need to kill any of them."
Glitch sounds happy, but Zor'Kin says, "This abomination and its kind killed my people and stole our world. Why should it be allowed to live?"
Groax remains silent, and Glitch replies, "If you desire prove of any kind, then allow me to leave with you and keep this place undiscovered. I can offer more than a few upgrades to the ship you are on. Please, don't harm my people."
The trio turn to Glitch with curiosity and listen to his conditions, "If you keep this place a secret to yourself, I'll stay in your company for as long as it takes. I can provide you with assistance to the ship, combat support, and provide you with intel on any creature of the Heleus cluster. I won't even reveal myself unless you call for me."
Zor'Kin is anxious to kill all the geth units in the area; Groax is just ready to fight them all, but the answer comes down to Johnson as he looks at them all.
A. Paragon Option: Come with us.
B. Neutral Option: You all can live.
C. Renegade Option: Everything dies.
Johnson answers, "You can come with us. We won't tell no one about this place."
Zor'Kin angrily roars, "Are you mad, Johnson? We can't trust this damn thing."
Groax pops his neck, "If this thing gets out of hand, I'll kill it with no remorse."
Glitch says, "I am glad you are willing to take me with you. I'll make sure this place stays hidden and mark it as radiation class ten."
Johnson allows Glitch to finish up business with the other geth units. Once things are done, they exit the area. Johnson didn't mind having a killer synthetic with him, but he worries how Zor'Kin will act with the geth aboard the Spirit Star. They all return to the gravity lift and float up to the surface. They witness Glitch activate a remnant code on the gravity lift and seal up the place. Everything is secured, and the trip returns to the nomad as Johnson calls Jim for a pickup.
Aboard the ship in the lower deck, there is commotion like no other. The noise is loud, full of rage, and everyone wants to tear off Johnson's head. He looks around at them and tries his best to keep the crew calm. They didn't know what to think and questions fly at him like bullets. One wants an answer while another desires to understand. A third person questions the mental state, and many suspect this is some wild attempt at conquest. Jim hears so much noise from the communication device that he places the ship on auto pilot and rushes down to the bottom. All he kept hearing was it being on the ship. He didn't know if Johnson brought back a kett leader or device. Chris and Laura join Jim as they come to the back of the Spirit Star. They thought a kett leader was bad but seeing a geth unit is worse. Right behind Johnson's back with Zor'Kin and Groax off to the side, Glitch stands and waits.
Glitch says, "I am not here to harm anyone."
A woman shouts, "You may be here to kill us all in our sleep."
A man roars, "All I remember is the geth are a threat."
Covina calms the crew and asks, "Johnson, you do know that this is a geth unit behind you right? A geth unit that the quarians made back in the Milky Way before a group of them became hostile and rebelled against their creators? You know what you did, right?"
Jim, Chris, Laura, Meika, and everyone can't believe how crazy Johnson is.
A. Paragon Choice: We can trust it.
B. Neutral Choice: This is a tool.
C. Renegade Choice: It won't be used.
Johnson answers, "Everything is fine. This geth is called Glitch and can help us. We won't harm this one. Believe me, I am nervous too."
Glitch says, "I am Glitch. I seek to help you against anyone that will attack this ship. In return, I will stay hidden on the Spirit Star and answer only Johnson."
Everyone goes to their station, but to reassure them, Johnson orders Glitch to remain in his private quarters away from everyone. Glitch obeys and only accesses Johnson's data pad to learn what is going on. Jim pulls Johnson to the side.
Jim asks, "I can't believe how crazy you are. You manage to find a geth and bring it on here for what exactly. Please, tell me that this is a joke and it goes to either the Nexus or Syndicate?"
A. Paragon Choice: I trust it with my life.
B. Neutral Choice: We can let the Nexus use it.
C. Renegade Choice: The Syndicate needs it.
Johnson replies, "Glitch will stay with us until we are done with our mission. I can trust this thing with my life."
Jim looks at Johnson for a while as he searches for any signs of change. He says, "Ok, I'll trust you but having a killer robot on this ship will make everyone nervous. And no, I won't let it have access to anything here."
As Jim goes back to the helm, Johnson takes a moment to breathe and looks for Glitch in his private quarters. Upon stepping inside, he sees Glitch going through the data pad quickly. Once it is done, Glitch comes to Johnson for questions.
Glitch says, "These kett are quite vicious in their attempt to change everyone. They're as bad as the Reapers, but they aren't as powerful."
A. Paragon Choice: You're learning fast.
B. Neutral Choice: Nice summary.
C. Renegade Choice: Don't go through all my data.
Johnson answers, "I see you are already comparing an old enemy to another old enemy. We're still unsure how bad things are in the Milky Way, but we believe this is the last of us."
Glitch lowers his head, "The Milky Way had a plan, but the information is still unknown to me at this time. When I can, I will provide what I know about it after I improve."
Johnson says, "Tell me about yourself. What else happen when you got here?"
Glitch answers, "I was like any other geth unit in the last galaxy. I followed others and killed many species until it was time for me to be in another place. It wasn't until the year 2185 that our lead geth unit pointed at me to go and join the ark construction that was being built in the Caleston Rift. At first, I didn't understand the protocol and nothing made any sense. Once I was away, the last thing I did remember was seeing the lead geth unit carrying the N-7 armor. The message it gave me was to survive and never forget."
The news of another self-aware geth unit shocked Johnson; he didn't know if this was planned or a way of ensuring survival when the Reapers came. As Johnson keeps talking to Glitch and takes what he can from it, the day is now finished. With the mission done and over, the Spirit Star crew knows of the hidden geth station on Tobonoor in the Inalaara system and the Chimera Organization. The organization leaves Johnson wondering who they are and why did General Thad try to kill them. The ship flies away as Johnson comes back to the top deck and looks at the Heleus cluster map. The next area they check is near the Tecunis system. They received a distress call from a group of people aboard a small freight ship about a group of fanatics holding them hostages. To their surprise, it isn't the Syndicate doing the dirty work, the Apex team of the Nexus are handling the affair.
Jim brings the ship to the freighter and docks with the entrance. Chris and Covina strap on their weapons; they join Johnson near the entrance and stand ready to rush out guns ready. Once the ship connects, the team steps onboard. Everything is quiet, but this is just the beginning of the problem. They step into the next room and take cover as they hear the crew talk.
One person says, "I hope the Nexus council will take what we are doing serious. If not, they can expect the person return to them in a body bag."
That is all they needed. Johnson orders Covina and Chris to advance slowly as they gun down the bad people. Covina keeps her head down with Johnson firing over her head. Chris scurries to the other side and flanks the enemy with a well-thrown grenade. The damage was done, and it was time to come to the main deck of the ship; the door was locked with a passkey. The trio search the ship and find the passkey inside the sleeping room. It is time to see why the Apex is close to the Syndicate territory. They step inside and find seven people armed. One of the seven step forward to them with the others ready to fire.
He says, "Hold it, you're not Nexus or Syndicate. What are you doing here?"
A. Paragon Choice: What is going on here?
B. Neutral Choice: Who are you?
C. Renegade Choice: Start talking now.
Johnson asks, "What is this? Why is Apex here?"
The leader answers, "My name is Tanner. I want to see the Nexus burn for what they did to us. We hired a few other people to join us. The Nexus council promised us a home of our own, but instead, they gave it to those that knew them personally. I want that entire government to fall. Once the Syndicate sees us, we will join them and use their resources to burn them down to the ground."
Covina scoffs, "If you think the Syndicate will join you, then you are foolish. As for Apex, they can be reasonable if you talk to them than resort to violence."
A. Paragon Choice: You can still walk away.
B. Neutral Choice: You should talk to them.
C. Renegade Choice: You need to die.
Johnson replies, "If you believe you were done wrong, you should go and talk to the Apex leaders about this. If all else fails, then you leave the Nexus and go elsewhere."
Tanner lowers his head, "No, we tried that. Why should we do that? I already made up my mind and war will come to Nexus. And if the Syndicate doesn't get in line, they can die too."
Chris aims his shotgun at Tanner, squeezing the trigger. The blast opens a hole in the chest of Tanner, ending his life. Johnson and Covina kill the rest of the others before they can react. The fight is quick and swift. Covina turns to Chris.
She yells, "What the hell was that about? Why did you kill him?"
Chris answers, "I know men like him. Once they make up their mind, there is no talking to them or convincing them to change. He was willing to destroy Nexus and burn the Syndicate. He had to die."
A. Paragon Choice: Next time, no killing.
B. Neutral Choice: Understandable.
C. Renegade Choice: I wanted to kill him.
Johnson sighs, "Next time, we don't kill unless we have no choice. He would have walked away before you killed him."
They search the ship for anything useful before leaving. They manage to find some ammo, gear, and more equipment. In the rear of the ship, they discover more crates for supplies. Johnson, Chris, and Covina finish up with the last few searches. They exit the ship and continue their journey elsewhere. Johnson takes a moment to look over the recent notes of everything they did; he was ready to report all of this to the Syndicate and Nexus leaders.
He thought, "This all started on TOS-51. It was supposed to be a day of training that brings the Nexus and Syndicate together. Then, we were attacked by the kett. The kett were thought to be dead, but they have been away from the Heleus cluster over two hundred years. We reported the news of their arrival to the leaders; however, they didn't believe us. Our superiors sent us to Eos for a security detail. Yet, things changed again. We found raiders and more kett hiding on the planet setting up places to strike at us. Once we defeated them, a kett device had a map hidden inside its contents. The map showed us all the planets we would find the kett at. We presented this knowledge to the leaders, and they believed we needed to investigate and search for the kett planets. I was promoted to Captain Johnson and held the title, Specter. From there, we went to two planets and learned the kett had come up with a way to change us into them. Thanks to the brilliant minds of my new non-human friends, they found a way to disable each machine. The last planet we came to was Habitat Seven. On that planet, we found three large kett facilities that had to be destroyed. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Nexus and Syndicate forces, we reduce the structures to dust; however, we know that this is too easy. The kett have one more plan up their sleeve. They will return to catch both superpowers off guard and usher in a period of gene changing and physical deformity. This is known as the Age of Exaltation."
After reading his summary and examining everything they endured, Johnson was ready to go forth to stand before the leadership of the Syndicate and Nexus. He will show them the last bits of knowledge so they can be alert and prepared for the coming danger. The time is over and everything must be ready. The kett still have one more way to attack Heleus, but everyone must be ready for it. Johnson contacts Jim and orders him to fly back to Ditivios in the Nol system. The war with the kett will end like it did before when the Ryder family stopped the Archon; the same way Shepard and the Normandy crew prepared for the Reapers is the exact same way Johnson had hope for this battle to go.
The Spirit Star jumps to the Nol System and comes in view of Ditivios; everything is ok with only three ships from both sides floating near the planet. As Jim flies to the landing port, Johnson walks by his own crew to see them proud and feeling great. They are glad the kett are dying, but they proudly salute him as their Captain. Even with the tragic events of TOS-51, the need to achieve victory continues to push them onward. Johnson comes to the helm of the Spirit Star and greets Jim with a warm smile. They look out the window to see the landing zone in sight. Jim and the humans agree to stay aboard the ship while Johnson takes his friends to the main hall.
As they step from the ship's doorway, two teams greet them with weapons drawn and aiming at them. Johnson, Chris, Laura, Covina, Groax, Zor'Kin, and Meika are met by Clark with an unpleasant appearance. Clark orders the men to lower their weapons as he talks to Johnson. They step off to the side as the teams of Apex and Enforcer wait for further orders.
Clark asks, "Johnson, what the hell is going on? The Nexus Council and Syndicate Warlords are placing you under arrest for certain news that caused a panic spread by your crew."
A. Paragon Choice: What did we do?
B. Neutral Choice: What is this?
C. Renegade Choice: How would they know?
The DLC mission is also a part of the future events down the roads in the next adventures. For now, the special guest Glitch is mostly on the ship checking with the status, upgrades, and structure. He won't be made available for players until the next Mass Effect Andromeda Wars 2. Please, see your gamer's package for future updates from the website included.
