Our heroes were whisked back in time by Celebi on a mission from Ophidarca, in order to unite the people of Ralia's ancient past. So far, both Ophidarca and settlers and natives of the past refuse to cooperate, but thankfully, they've succeeded in uniting two important people from the legend: Thomas and Aster. Now they must find a way to convince Ophidarca to help them.
Within the tunnels, Celebi was resting on a small bed. Suddenly, it began to slowly open its eyes. It looked around and saw that there wasn't anybody around. It felt confused, and slowly, it managed to rise off its bed, looking around for our heroes. But when it couldn't find them, it felt concerned and began flying towards an exit.
It was nighttime in Unumia Desert, and all was mostly silent. However, there was a small party coming together. It was Ash, Serena, Vernon, RotomDex, Pikachu, Aster, and Thomas, plus Aster's Echidnimal and Thomas's Skullizard. They all met near a big rock formation.
"So, it's you..." Thomas said as he saw Aster.
"Yeah... nice to see you again," said Aster.
They both fell silent, unsure of what to say, but then they looked back at our heroes. "So, why'd you guys bring us out here?" said Thomas.
"Why do you think?" said Ash. "You two, you need to bring your peoples together so you can defeat Entomotus and Putacine."
"I don't think so," said Aster. "Sorry, but my father just won't listen."
"And neither will my mother," said Thomas.
"But there is one way to save your peoples," said Vernon. "Ophidarca."
"Ophidarca?" said Aster. "Yeah, right, it didn't seem willing to talk with us before."
"I know," said Serena, "but we know that once it sees that you guys are willing to work together, it'll be willing to help you again."
"I don't think so," said Thomas. "It thinks we've brought destruction to the region and its Pokémon, and to be honest, it's right. It'll never listen to humans again."
"You gotta try!" said Ash. "You two, you're your peoples' only hope now!"
Aster and Thomas looked at each other. They had come to understanding with each other before, but could they really bring their peoples together? Could they even convince Ophidarca to help them again?
"Sorry, guys," said Aster, "but it's no use. Ophidarca, and our peoples, they don't want to listen to us."
"But we know Ophidarca will listen!" said Ash. "Ophidarca... well... it..."
The two looked up at Ash with confused looks. "You know something?" said Thomas. "I'd like to ask you people something."
"Huh? What?" said Vernon.
"Just who are you?" said Thomas.
"Yes, I'd like to know as well," said Aster. "You folks, you just showed up out of nowhere one day, and you've had some weird interest in the two of us."
"The way you dress, talk, or whatever that thing is..." said Thomas, pointing at RotomDex, "just what are you? Where did you even come from? You aren't like anything we've ever seen!"
"And then there was what you said about Ophidarca... I think... we deserve some actual answers!" said Aster.
Our heroes looked at each other, unsure of how to answer. It wasn't like they could tell them the truth. But how were they supposed to explain themselves? Especially if they needed these two to trust them.
Suddenly, though, Ash took a step forward. "Look, the truth is... we were sent here by Ophidarca itself on a mission. To unite your peoples! To save this region!"
Aster just glared at him and said, "I don't think so. Ophidarca, it's made its feelings on our peoples quite clear."
"I know but... I'm not talking about the present day, Ophidarca!" Ash said. Aster and Thomas looked at him shocked, as Ash's friends all gasped.
"Ash, wait!" said Serena.
"We need to tell them!" said Ash. "Guys, the truth is... we come from the future!"
"What?!" Thomas and Aster said together.
"I know it sounds insane, but it's the truth!" said Ash. "Listen, Aster, do you remember that Celebi that you found us with? It's the one who brought us here! Ophidarca, it asked that Celebi to bring us here, to the past, in order to unite your peoples for the sake of Ralia in the future!"
Aster and Thomas just stared at him in shock, and then Aster angrily said, "I'm sorry, but no. You're insane!"
"It's true!" said Ash. "You two, you're supposed to unite your peoples and save this region! You're supposed to go to Ophidarca and it supposed to create something that will stop Entomotus and Putacine! You're part of a huge legend and-"
"Enough!" said Thomas. "I don't know who you people are, but I refuse to get involved in this insanity!"
As Thomas suddenly stormed off, Aster looked at our heroes and said, "I'm sorry, but I just don't quite believe you. Goodbye."
As Aster walked off, our heroes stood there stunned.
"Now what?" said Ash. "If we can't get them to listen..."
"You really shouldn't have told them the truth, Ash," said Vernon.
"What else could I say?" said Ash. "I mean, anything other than the truth would've been impossible for them to believe."
"Well, the truth was impossible for them to believe, too, Ash," said Serena.
"Ugh, look, we need to convince them to go to Ophidarca so they can create Unulurok," said Ash.
"Well, I'm afraid they're right about one thing," said Serena. "Ophidacra really doesn't want to cooperate with humans anymore."
"Well, then... maybe we'll have to talk to Ophidarca," said Ash.
"Ophidarca?" said Vernon. "How do we even find it?"
Before Ash could answer, they all heard a loud crash. They looked off into the distance, and they could just make out a snake-like silhouette.
"Look! That must be Ophidarca! Right there!" said Ash. "Come on, we gotta go find it!"
Quickly, he ran off. "Ash, wait!" Serena said, but he wouldn't listen, so everyone just groaned and ran after him.
Nearby, Thomas was walking through the desert. It was still pitch-black out, so he was struggling to find his way back.
"Hey," came a voice, and Thomas turned to see Aster walking behind him. "You, uh, you on your way back?"
"Uh, yeah, I was," said Thomas. "Are you heading back?"
"Well, I was..." said Aster before she trailed off. She looked down at Echidnimal at her feet, who looked at her with concerned eyes. Aster looked back at Thomas and said, "You know, I don't know why those guys were talking so crazy, but... maybe they're still right."
"Huh?"
"I mean, they keep telling us that we need to unite our peoples," said Aster. "And well, you and I, we agreed we'd tried to help each other. To help each other's peoples."
"Yeah, I know, but-" said Thomas.
"Maybe... maybe we should go looking for Ophidarca," said Aster.
"Huh? Are you crazy?" said Thomas. "Ophidarca, it wants nothing to do with humans anymore. I don't think it'll be eager to speak with us."
"Maybe you're right, but..." said Aster. "But Ophidarca, it may be the only one who can help us. It created Entomotus and Putacine. Surely, it can do something to stop them, right?"
Thomas was silent for the longest time, looking down at Skullizard, who looked at him with encouraging eyes. Finally, he looked at Aster and said, "Okay. I guess we can at least try."
Aster smiled as she held out her hand. Thomas smiled and took it, and they walked away with their Pokémon.
"So, where should we go?" said Thomas.
"Let's try near that place where we saw Ophidarca before," said Aster.
After a few minutes of silence, Aster said, "Hey, about what those guys said..."
"What?" said Thomas. "You don't really believe that they're from the future, do you?"
"Well, um, I don't know," said Aster. "I did find them with a Celebi. And, well, I just can't help but ask myself, why would they make up such an insane lie like that? Unless... it wasn't a lie?"
Who's that Pokémon?
This Pokémon inhabited the ancient seas. Although it can only crawl, it still climbs up on the land in search of prey.
Ash ran through the desert, Pikachu right behind him, struggling to keep up. Ash panted, as he tried to see Ophidarca in the distance. He kept thinking to himself, if they couldn't convince Ophidarca to help, then what was going to happen? What if they messed something up? What if they put the whole future of Ralia in jeopardy? Ash shook his head, pushing those feelings out of his head.
Eventually, he realized he couldn't see the silhouette anymore. Finally, he stopped to catch his breath. "Pika, pi!" he heard Pikachu's voice, and looked down at his feet to see his partner. Then, he looked up to see Serena, Vernon, and RotomDex running up to him.
"Ash, please, don't run off like that!" said Serena. "It's dangerous out here!"
"I know, but, we have to find Ophidarca!" said Ash. "It's our only hope to save Ralia."
"Relax, Ash, it'll all work out somehow," said Vernon. "Otherwise we wouldn't even be here."
"I don't know," said Ash. "I'm starting to worry, what if we mess up the future somehow? What if we make things worse? What if we mess up history?"
"Hey, come on, don't start thinking like that, Ash!" said RotomDex. "We're gonna work something out, okay? We'll make things right somehow."
Suddenly, though, the group saw a big shadow come down over them. They looked up in shock to see none other than Ophidarca descending upon them.
"Ophidarca!" said Ash. "Ophidarca... we-"
"What are you humans doing here!?" said Ophidarca in a booming voice.
"Ophidarca, please!" said Ash. "You have to listen to us! You're the only one who can save this region!"
"I know that," said Ophidarca. "But I fail to see why I should listen to humans ever again."
"Ophidarca, listen..." said Ash. "You're the one who brought us here!"
"What?" said Ophidarca. "What are you talking about?"
"Listen, we come from the future!" said Ash. "You sent a Celebi to take us back to this point in time so that we could ensure the future of the Ralia region!"
Ophidarca just stared at Ash angry, clearly not believing him. But then, the others spoke up too.
"It's true! You brought us here! You wanted us to unite the peoples of this region so that they could stop Entomotus and Putacine."
"Please, you have to believe us!" said Vernon.
"I'm afraid I don't," said Ophidarca. "I will ask you now to begone!"
Ophidarca seemed to be charging up a Rainbow Storm attack, and our heroes braced themselves. But then, they heard a familiar cry.
"Breeee!" Everyone looked to see Celebi flying between our heroes and Ophidarca.
"Celebi?" said Ash.
"Bree! Bree!" Celebi called out to Ophidarca.
"What?" said Ophidarca, understanding what it was saying.
"Bree! Bree!" said Celebi, before suddenly, it ended up falling to the ground, clutching itself and groaning.
"Celebi! Are you...?" said Ophidarca. It came down to see that Celebi was still injured. It didn't understand why, but then, it suddenly lowered down a small, rainbow-colored scale, which disintegrated into sparkles, which healed all of Celebi's wounds.
"Bree!" Celebi rose up, excited now that it felt fully recovered. Then, it flew over to our heroes and said, "Bree! Bree!"
Ophidarca stared at Celebi for a long time, before it turned to our heroes and said, "This Celebi, it says it brought you here... at my request."
"That's what we've been trying to tell you!" said Serena.
Ophidarca looked back at Celebi, surprised. Celebi gave it an affirming look, and Ophidarca thought to itself, How could this be so? I sent these humans back in time to save this region?
"Ophidarca, please help us!" said Serena. "You can help us all save this region and put a stop to Entomotus and Putacine's rampage!"
"Why should I help humans anymore?" said Ophidarca. "I shared my power with them before, and look what they did with it!"
"I know you're mad at the peoples of this region," said Vernon, "but you have to help them! These two people, a native girl named Aster, and a settler boy named Thomas, they want to put an end to all of this! Not just to Entomotus and Putacine's rampage, but to the war between their peoples!"
Ophidarca seemed surprised to hear this, but Ash said, "They want to work together, to unite their peoples. But they can't do that unless you can unite with them too! I know it's hard for you to trust humans after everything, but you gotta give these people one more chance! This could be your only hope to save the region!"
Unbeknownst to anyone, Aster and Thomas were nearby, and they had overheard everything. And now they were staring at the scene with shock.
"Why should I give them a chance now? Why should i believe they won't abuse my power again?" said Ophidarca.
"Just come with us to meet Thomas and Aster," said Ash. "All we want you to do is talk to them. Just hear them out. They want to save this region too. If you just listen what they have to say, you'll be able to trust them."
Ophidarca stared at them for the longest time, but our heroes gave it sincere and determined looks. Finally, Ophidarca said, "Fine. I will speak to them."
At that point, Aster and Thomas walked forward and Thomas said, "We're right here, Ophidarca."
Everyone turned in shock to see them. "Guys?!" said Ash. "Uh, how much of that did you hear?"
"We heard enough," said Thomas. "Ophidarca, I know you don't trust us, and we don't blame you. But please, we want to make things right!"
"Yeah, we want to save this region too!" said Aster. "But we can't do that without you."
"You and your peoples abused my power before and brought destruction upon the region," said Ophidarca. "Why the supposed change of heart?"
Thomas and Aster looked at each other, still holding each other's hands, before looking back at Ophidarca. "Because... we finally realized our mistakes," said Aster. "We went to war because we were convinced it was the only way we could have survived."
"But now..." said Thomas, "...now we finally took the time to understand each other. The suffering we inflicted on each other. The part our stubbornness played in all this."
"We want to fix things, Ophidarca," said Aster before she looked back at Thomas. "But not just for ourselves. For each other. We want to actually help each other. We want to save the region and help each other thrive. We want... to work together now."
Ophidarca stared at the two in surprise. The humans, actually working together? And they wanted to save the region?
After a long silence, Ophidarca said, "You two, you are not like your peoples. You came together, seeking to make things right. You seek... to unite your people for the sake of the region." After a silence, Ophidarca continued, "Perhaps it is time I tried to come together with you."
"You mean...?" said Aster.
"Yes," said Ophidarca. "I will help. Just one more time. For the sake of the region."
Aster and Thomas smiled in relief. "Thank you, Ophidarca..." said Thomas. "Thank you..."
"So," said Aster, "what do we do now?"
"Hey, uh," came Ash's voice as everyone turned to look at him, "we might have an idea."
It's Tirtouga!
It was daytime by the time they finally arrived. Everyone rode on Ophidarca's back before they made it to Unumia Rock. Ophidarca landed and everyone disembarked.
"So, this is were the Pokémon who will save us all will be made?" said Aster.
"That's right," said Ash, as he looked around. "Now, come on, everyone. We need to find a lizard-Pokémon."
As they all searched, Thomas suddenly walked up to Ash. "Excuse me?" he said. "The future... w-what does it look like?"
Ash smiled and said, "It's a beautiful future. There are people and Pokémon working together to prosper, and they made a lot of progress."
Serena smiled before she looked at Aster and said, "But they all still live in harmony with nature, and everyone works together to keep the old traditions alive, too."
Hearing this, Aster and Thomas looked at each other pleased.
"I have found it," said Ophidarca. Everyone looked back to see Ophidarca holding a mysterious, little Pokémon in its grasp. "Now, I need you two, Thomas and Aster to help me transform it into your savior."
"Huh?" said Aster.
"I can give you the power of my scales," said Ophidarca, but you two must give your own emotions to this Pokémon in order to transform it into something that can save your peoples."
"Oh, yeah," said Thomas. He looked back at Aster and said, "But what kind of Pokémon should we create?"
"It needs to be something that can not only defeat Entomotus and Putacine," said Aster, "but can unite our peoples."
"Yeah... I've got it!" said Thomas. "This will be the Pokémon of Unity!"
"Very well," said Ophidarca. It floated its scales down to the little Pokémon and they surrounded it. "Now, share your emotions with it. Let it see what kind of guardian it must become."
Thomas and Aster walked forward, put their hands on the Pokémon, and thought about the kind of guardian they needed. And then, the Pokémon began to transform.
As the light began to fade, everyone saw a new kind of Pokémon in front of them. It was big, spiky, purple, covered in amethyst, and it looked like a goanna.
"We did it..." said Ash. "We helped c
reate the Pokémon of Unity."
"So, this is the Pokémon that will save us..." said Aster.
"What should we call it?" said Thomas.
"You guys should call it... Unulurok," said Vernon.
The Pokémon in question turned to face Vernon when he said that. "It seems it likes the name," said Ophidarca. "Unulurok, it is."
Thomas and Aster walked forward and bowed their heads. "Unulurok," said Aster. "We need your help to save our peoples. We have been at war for a long time, but we've brought destruction upon the region."
"We created two Pokémon that are out to destroy everything and everyone," said Thomas. "But if you can help us unite our peoples, then we can do it together."
Unulurok stared at them, but seemed to understand and it nodded its head.
"Unulurok..." said Aster. "Thank you..."
"Bree!" said Celebi suddenly. As everyone looked over to see it, it suddenly flew over to our heroes and emitted a bright light.
"Huh? Celebi! What are you...!?" said Ash.
"Breeeee!" Celebi cheered. And with that, our heroes disappeared.
"Wh-what just happened?" said Thomas.
"Celebi took them to where they needed to go," said Ophidarca. "In the meantime, it is time for us to do our part."
Our heroes opened their eyes to see that everyone else was gone. They were still on top of Unumia Rock, but there was no one around.
"What happened?" said Ash. He looked at Celebi and said, "Where... or when... did you take us now?"
"Bree! Bree!" said Celebi.
"Celebi is saying that Ophidarca asked it to take us here once we helped create Unulurok," said RotomDex.
"Really?" said Serena. "But we just leave everyone behind! What on earth do we need to be here for?"
However, Celebi saw a silhouette in the distance, smiled, and flew off. Our heroes groaned in annoyance, but then, they all gasped when they saw Ophidarca descending down on them with Celebi.
"So, you finally returned," said Ophidarca.
"Ophidarca..." said Ash. "Wh-what year is it, exactly?"
"Well, it seems you've arrived on the most important day in this region's history," said Ophidarca. "The war is finally about to come to an end."
"War? What are you talking about?" said Serena.
"Why don't you all come with me?" said Ophidarca. "There's something I'd like to show you."
Later, our heroes were riding on the back of Ophidarca across the desert. "Where are you taking us Ophidarca?" said Ash. "What the heck is going on?"
"You kids have been gone for a few years," said Ophidarca. "It would seem that you completed the mission that I give you in the future."
"Really?" said Serena. "But... what about Entomtus and Putacine? We never really helped to defeat them!"
"Or what about uniting the settlers and natives?" said Vernon.
"Come now, no one could ask you to stay in the past for years to save the region," said Ophidarca. "You did bring the settlers and natives together through Thomas and Aster. And by helping to create the Pokémon of Unity, you gave them the chance to stop the Pokémon of Logic and Emotion. And I have been helping them survive and fight, and save the land."
"Really?" said Vernon.
"Yes. See for yourselves," said Ophidarca.
Our heroes looked down, and gasped upon seeing a bunch of people facing down Entomotus and Putacine. They were all facing the Pokémon with their own, attacking from all angles. The Legendary Pokémon, however, were easily fending everyone off with their own powers. But then, our heroes could see Unulurok right behind them. And by their side, there was a pretty, young, native woman, and a handsome, young, settler boy. But our heroes knew who they were. They were an older Aster and an older Thomas.
Ophidarca swooped in closer, allowing our heroes to hear what they were saying.
"Alright, Unulurok, do it now!" said Aster.
"Use Unified Stone!" said Thomas.
Unulurok bowed its head, and it summoned four giant, stone pillars out of the ground. The stone pillars then moved towards each other and collided into Entomotus and Putacine, causing them to collapse onto the ground.
"Alright, everyone! Do it now!" said Aster.
Unulurok came down over Putacine and Entomotus, and it started to glow purple. All the natives gathered around Entomotus and all the settlers gathered around Putacine. They all held out their hands as stone began to form over the Legendary Pokémon.
"What are they doing?" said Ash.
"Lending their power to Unulurok with their emotions and thoughts," said Ophidarca.
Aster stood above Entomotus and said, "Entomotus... forgive us. We turned you into an instrument of war."
Thomas stood above Putacine and said, "And we did the same with you, Putacine. We abused your power."
"Please... you will not be sealed away forever," said Aster.
"Someday, you two will reawaken to a new, better generation," said Thomas.
"We are so sorry... for everything we did to you," said Aster.
"Remember, you are not tools for war, you were meant to create peace," said Thomas.
"When you reawaken someday... we hope you will be able to forgive humanity... and protect the future of the Ralia region once more..." they both said.
Entomotus and Putacine seemed to feel and understand Aster and Thomas's words. They seemed to hear and feel all the settlers and natives giving their thoughts and emotions to them. And then, they slowly closed their eyes as they were sealed in stone.
Everyone looked at the stones solemnly, before Aster and Thomas stood before everyone else, with Unulurok standing behind them.
"It's over... for now," said Aster.
"Entomotus and Putacine have been sealed away," said Thomas.
Ophidarca suddenly landed nearby, but quickly hid our heroes and Celebi. Then, it flew over above the settlers and natives, causing everyone to look up to it.
"It is done," said Ophidarca. "Well done, everyone. Thanks to your cooperation, you have saved yourselves, and the region."
At that, everyone started to cheer. Our heroes looked out and saw that Aster's father and Thomas's mother were standing together, smiling at each other.
"But you all must understand that there is still much work to do," said Ophidarca. "Now, it is time to rebuild. And you must do it together." As everyone looked at each other, Ophidarca continued, "For the future of the region, for the sake of all your own prosperity, you must work together in order to create a new home, where all of you together, and Pokémon, can all thrive."
"Yeah... Ophidarca is right," said Aster, as she stepped forward.
"On this day, our two peoples are united together forever!" said Thomas.
"We will work together to build a home where our old traditions will endure, and our old homes will be preserved..." said Aster.
"...And where the rest of us can build our new home where we can be safe, but in harmony with all who were here first!" said Thomas.
With that, everyone cheered. Unulurok then stepped forward and lifted up the two stones. Then, closing its eyes, it launched them up into orbit.
Aster and Thomas looked back at this, and Aster said, "Someday, the Pokémon of Logic and Emotion will return when they are ready to become the guardians they were created to be once again..." said Aster.
"...But in the meantime," said Thomas, "Unulurok will remain here with us, so that it can guide us."
"Indeed," said Ophidarca. "Unulurok will help you all rebuild, but when the day comes when it is no longer needed, it will go to rest... unless the day comes when it is needed again."
Everyone cheered again, and began to embrace one another. Our heroes saw this, and they grinned in joy at seeing the settlers and natives together.
"We did it, guys," said Ash. "We really did it!"
"I know!" said Serena, clasping her hands.
"I'm glad it's all over," said Vernon.
But then, they saw a shadow go over them, and they looked to see Ophidarca above them, but they gasped at seeing Thomas and Aster standing before them, smiling.
"So, you guys came back," said Aster.
"Uh... yeah, we did," said Ash. "Ophidarca wanted us to see this."
"We never did get the chance to thank you guys," said Thomas. "You helped to save our peoples, and this region. We owe you everything."
"Oh, it's... it's nothing," said Serena. "I mean, you guys, you're the ones who really united your peoples. We just gave you a push."
"Even so, none of this would have happened without you guys," said Aster.
"Hey, do really think Putacine and Entomotus will be able to return someday?" said Vernon.
"Sure, someday," said Thomas. "But only when they are ready to let go of their rage, and become the guardians they once were."
"Maybe... you guys will get to witness that in the future," said Aster.
"Really?" said Ash. "Man, that'd be pretty crazy."
"I owe you all a thanks as well," said Ophidarca. "Before, I was ready to give up on humanity after they abused my power. But now, I've seen that humans can do better... if they only have someone to guide them. And because of that, I- no, we, were able to save the region and its future."
"Sure thing," said Vernon. "I mean, it was you who sent us."
"Bree! Bree!" said Celebi. It flew up to Ophidarca, chattering.
"What's it doing, Rotom?" said Ash.
"It's explaining everything the future Ophidarca told it," said RotomDex. "It's telling Ophidarca about where we and Celebi will be in the future so it can send us here. And it's telling Ophidarca about Unulurok saving us from Team Shade."
"Very well," said Ophidarca. "I will remember this when the time comes." It looked back at our heroes and said, "And I will tell Unulurok when it must come to save you."
Speaking of Unulurok, the Unity Pokémon suddenly came forward, and it eyed our heroes. It seemed unsure of what to think, but Ash confidently stepped forward and said, "Hi. You don't know us yet, but you're gonna save our lives in the future. And we'll be forever grateful to you once you do." Unulurok just stared at him before he finally walked away.
"Well, I believe it's time for you all to return home, isn't it?" said Thomas.
"Uh, actually," said Serena, turning towards Celebi, "if you don't mind, can we see just one more little thing?"
All was quiet on top of Unumia Rock, before there appeared a bright light, and then, our heroes appeared with Celebi.
"We're home!" said Ash. Then, he turned to Celebi and said, "Thanks for everything, Celebi!"
Celebi cheered, flying up to everyone to hug them, before it finally flew away into the night.
"Well, now what?" said Serena.
"We should probably go find the Acacias, shouldn't we?" said Vernon. "They're probably worried sick about us."
Our heroes made their way back towards Acacia's tent, but then, they gasped as they saw something. The Acacias were locked in battle with Team Rocket.
"Napiat, Venoshock!"
"Choaking, Sludge Bomb!"
"Crockey, use Sand Tomb!"
"Gnarlipus, use Scald!"
All these attacks collided and canceled each other out, but everyone stood strong.
"Back off!" said Acacia. "I don't know what you're doing here, but we won't let you get away with it!"
"Sorry, but ya can't stop us, pal!" said Meowth.
Our heroes were about to join the fight, but then, they saw something land behind Team Rocket. The villains turned around in terror to see Unulurok standing behind them. It angrily glared at them, and then it used Unified Stone, which immediately sent them blasting off.
"We're blasting off again!"
"Guys!" said Ash, as he and the others ran forward to the Acacias. "Are you okay?"
The Acacias looked at our heroes in shock. "You guys... you're back!" said Chris.
Unulurok groaned, causing everyone to look at it. As it stared at them, Ash walked forward and said, "Thanks, Unulurok. You saved us all again. We can't thank you enough." Unulurok continued to stare at the humans, but then, it leapt into the air, disappearing into the night.
"That's some story," said Chris. Everyone was now sitting inside Professor Acacia's tent.
"Yeah, it's crazy to think we actually became part of a legend," said Ash.
"Thomas and Aster agreed to keep us out of the legend," said Serena, "just to make sure the future wouldn't get messed up."
"And here!" said RotomDex, pulling up a photo. "Look at what we snapped a pic of as a memento!"
Chris and Professor Acacia looked at the photo, and smiled upon seeing that it was of Thomas and Aster's wedding. "Now isn't that just beautiful!" said Acacia.
"We learned a lot about the legend and the Legendary Pokémon," said Chris. "This really has been an amazing night!"
"Well, it's been an amazing many nights for us," said Serena.
Deep in the desert, Celebi flew up to two certain Pokémon: Ophidarca and Unulurok. "Bree! Bree!" Celebi said.
"Then it is done. You have done well, Celebi," said Ophidarca. It looked at Unulurok. "As have you, Unulurok."
As Unulurok nodded at Ophidarca, the Rainbow Serpent Pokémon looked up at the sky and said, "I do believe we have reached the point in time when all of us return for the sake of Ralia's future. I do hope... Putacine and Entomotus will find their way back to us soon. We must remember to help the human race. They still need us all." At that last part, Ophidarca began to remember. Remember that... woman...
"So, you three have actually discovered something important, did you?" said Giovanni.
"Indeed, boss," said Meowth, as he, Jessie, and James, talked to their boss on their communication device. "We just discovered how we can get our hands on some incredibly powerful Pokémon!"
Giovanni grinned evilly. "I like the sound of that."
Legends are being born everyday. And now, our heroes have helped give rise to one of the greatest ones of all! But now, it seems a brand new legend is on the horizon. More to come, as the journey continues!
