~Normal POV

Despite not having set an alarm, Akira woke up earlier than expected when the sunlight started streaming through the window. He carefully shifted so that he wouldn't wake Ann, and adjusted the curtain with his free hand. He looked down at his fiancée and smiled. Ann was snuggled up to him with her head resting on his chest. His other arm was wrapped around her, letting him gently run his hand along her soft skin. Her long hair was messier than normal, but he found it cute. She was still sleeping comfortably.

"I could just stay right here forever and be happy…"

Whenever Ann was back from college abroad, she always stayed with Akira at his apartment in Tokyo. Recently, Akira had finally asked her to marry him while they were on a private trip to Hawaii. They weren't going to get married just yet, but it felt good to know that they had it all set for when they were ready. And he never got tired of waking up with her right there.

He closed his eyes once more and relaxed. He considered going back to sleep, but it didn't work. Oh, well. He was happy right now. Lying comfortably in bed, getting to hold Ann while she slept, feeling her warm body pressed against him. It was just perfect.

And then Ann stirred a little, getting his attention. She hummed softly and opened her eyes to look up at him.

"Hey…" She said, softly.

"Morning, beautiful… sleep well?"

"Mhmm." Ann looked a little flustered from his casual compliment. "You?"

"Aside from the damn sun waking me up, yeah." Akira replied, smiling.

Ann giggled quietly. "Yeah, it does that."

"Next time, we'll get some blackout curtains."

Akira adjusted his position, moving so that he could lie on his side, but kept his arm around her. She closed her eyes again and got comfortable pressed against him like this. He ran his hand through her hair and kissed the top of her head.

"I don't wanna get up…" Ann said, quietly.

"Me either, but we're gonna have to at some point."

"Are you sure?" Ann gave him a teasing smirk. "I can think of a few things that could keep you here longer…"

"Heh, that's true," Akira replied, blushing a little. "Tell you what, we'll wait until we get hungry to get up, how's that?"

"Sounds good to me."

"Then we should use our time wisely."

He leaned down and gave her a soft kiss. She kissed him back happily. The two stayed like that for a while, just enjoying the quiet bliss of the early morning they had together. After a moment, Akira pulled away and moved to kiss her neck. Ann smiled and tilted her head slightly so he could. She loved it when he did that. Especially when he started moving his hands along her body at the same time.

Until a soft scratch at their bedroom door interrupted them. They pulled apart and looked at the door.

"Akira? Lady Ann? Are you guys awake yet?" They heard Morgana say.

Akira looked down at Ann and smiled apologetically.

"Maybe if we're quiet he'll think we're still asleep…" Ann whispered.

"I doubt it…" Akira leaned down and whispered in her ear. "We'll finish this later, ok?"

Ann blushed and smiled eagerly. "Ok… don't forget."

"You know I won't." Akira replied, smirking.

He gave her one more kiss before the two finally got up to start the day.
