This is a Dragon Ball and DC Superhero Girls Fanfiction, other franchises and characters will be included.

Hiro and Hector waited. The merged reality mission was late. Hector's mind raced. Was their next mission a nightmare? He thought Serket, his wife, was behind the delay. She was giving him time to prepare. Time for the horrors to come.

Their meal was simple. Hiro loved chicken nuggets. Hundreds of them filled his plate. Fresh, handmade nuggets. Hector's daughter, made them. Hector wanted to avoid burdening her. He ate chili dogs. Plain and easy to make.

Hector bit into a chili dog. The chili wasn't canned. It was homemade, rich, and deep red. The bread was soft. So soft it felt like it was still warm. He tasted the love put into it.

"Thank you," Hector said to his daughter. He felt grateful.

Hiro munched. Nuggets disappeared. He grinned like a kid in pure joy. His face showed total bliss. "These are amazing!" Hiro said between bites.

Hector watched Hiro. He wished he could share his joy. Fear twisted in his gut. This delay felt wrong. Serket never let them wait like this. She knew time was precious. Each second mattered.

"Do you think something's wrong?" Hector asked Hiro.

Hiro swallowed a nugget. "Wrong? What do you mean?"

"The mission," Hector replied. "It's late."

Hiro shrugged. "Maybe they're still figuring things out."

Hector doubted it. Serket controlled everything. Missions were always precise. This delay felt deliberate. Like a storm brewing.

He ate another chili dog. The flavor was a comfort. But the fear lingered. What awaited them in the next merged reality? And why was Serket making them wait?

Hector's gut twisted. Serket, his wife, only delayed missions for dire reasons. Either the destination was awful, or it was a reality he'd want to dodge. This delay screamed 'both'. Usually, she'd summon them to her office. Instead, she sat beside him, a rare move. Hiro, his partner, tensed. He knew this was bad news.

"You always read me, Hector," Serket sighed, her voice heavy. "This merged reality... it needs you. It needs fixing, help, and improvements. I wish it wasn't you. It's so tangled that Audrey, your eldest, must go too."

Hector's mind raced. Audrey? She was still learning. "Details, Serket. What are we facing?"

Serket turned to Hiro. "DC Superhero Girls. Familiar?"

Hector shrugged. "Saturday morning cartoon. Heroines banding together. Winx Club, Charmed... that kind of thing. Empowering female leads."

Hiro chuckled. "Hector usually avoids those. Too cheesy."

Serket's gaze sharpened. "Two versions of that show... separate realities. They merged. Then, somehow, they smashed into a reality built of Dragon Ball shows. A multi-reality merge. Unnatural."

Hector's training kicked in. "Someone did this. On purpose."

"Chaos," Serket confirmed. "Destruction. They want the negative energy. That's why you're going. And why Audrey is needed. The merger's too complex. You'll need family."

Audrey, still so young, was thrust into this. Hector felt a surge of protectiveness. He pictured her, bright-eyed and eager, but unprepared for the true darkness they might face. He knew the stakes. This wasn't just another mission. This was family.

Serket's touch grounded Hector. "The repairs needed are huge," she stated. "Unprecedented, even." Hector felt the weight of her words. He and Hiro faced a task unlike any before. They had to dive into the merged reality's genesis. "Earth is your starting point," Serket explained, her gaze intense. Hector would arrive as Vegeta, the Saiyan Prince. He would find Hiro, reborn as Goku.

"Kakarot, wasn't it?" Hector muttered, recalling a name from briefings. Serket chuckled a musical sound. "Semantics," she waved off the name with a smile. She would become Bulma's older sister, a role she'd played in other realities. Audrey would be Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley, the brilliant scientist.

They knew the dangers of Dragon Ball realities. Power levels and planet-shattering fights loomed large. This time, there was a new element. This merged world contained something like DC Superhero Girls. Serket admitted complete planning was impossible. They could only guarantee Hector's arrival on Earth. He needed to find Goku, the key to their mission. Uncertainty hung in the air like a storm cloud. "Just get to Earth," Serket urged. "Find Hiro, and adapt."

Hector sighed. "Hiro will want crazy changes." He knew Hiro's pattern. Hiro always wanted the perks from other merged realities. Dragon Ball powers, harems, items, skills, the works.

"Ugh, another Goku origin story?" Hector groaned. "Dealing with kid Goku is so boring. We've done the first arcs a thousand times." It felt like a chore, not an adventure.

"Forget that," Hector declared. "No merged reality redo. We'll use a fresh merged reality with the characters." He smirked, remembering a specific timeline. "There's one where Vegeta bribes Frieza with Earth food."

Hiro's eyes widened. "Perfect! We jump in after the Red Ribbon Army saga. Things will get interesting."

Hector detailed his plan. "Goku gets his gamer power. He also keeps Naruto's skills. Shadow clones will handle Bulma's usual problems." He paused, grinning. "The real Goku helps out in the Superhero Girls reality."

Hiro scowled. "That's not fair!" he snapped. "You lived as Sasuke! You can do the same thing, shadow clones and all!"

Hector just smirked. "Relax, dobe," he said. "I was already planning to use clones. No need to be so pissy." He chuckled, anticipating the chaos. This was going to be fun.

The plan was crawling forward. Piece by piece, they figured out what they needed. It was clear the merge was a setup. Someone wanted a stomp, a total win. The peaceful DC Superhero Girls were doomed. They could not face Dragon Ball's villains. The difference was huge. The girls treated fights like games. The winner was the hero, always. Losers went to a nice "prison" to chill. Dragon Ball was a nightmare. Threats like Frieza killed everyone, everywhere. Psychotic villains made life hell. Now, carefree heroes faced total death. Dragon Ball villains are killed, not just beaten. It was a sheep versus wolves. Wolves do not give up when they are beaten.

Hiro, as Goku, sighed. "This is bad, really bad." Hector, as Vegeta, frowned. "These girls won't last a day." They had to train these girls, fast. Make them strong enough to live. That was only the start of their problems.

"They don't even use Ki," Hiro said, shocked. "How can they fight planet busters?" Hector crossed his arms. "Their powers are… odd. Magic? Tech? It's all over."

Hiro smiled, trying to be upbeat. "That's the spirit! We'll start with basics." Hector was less friendly. "No hand-holding. This is life or death." The girls exchanged nervous looks. This was not like hero school.

Batgirl, ever the planner, spoke up. "What can we expect? Who are these villains?" Hiro grew serious. "Imagine the worst people ever. Then make them stronger than Superman." Hector added coldly, "They enjoy pain. They love to kill. Mercy is a weakness to them."

The air hung heavy. The girls understood the stakes now. This was not a game. This was survival.

Hiro, Hector, Serket, and Audrey smiled, ready for the task. Closing their eyes, they stepped into the merged reality. Far away, on Frieza's ship, Vegeta awoke. Nappa's loud snores filled the room. Vegeta glanced at the clock, his eyes narrowed. It was the day he predicted, the day for action. He scoffed, "Kakarot is already on Earth." He knew Goku would handle the initial threat. Vegeta's real mission began after. Training these superhero girls was his purpose. He doubted Goku's soft heart could push them hard enough. "They need to be warriors," Vegeta muttered. He imagined the girls, their potential hidden. His training would unlock it. He would forge them into a force to be reckoned with. He would show them no mercy, no matter how cute they might be. This thought fueled his Saiyan pride. These girls would be Earth's protectors, thanks to him. The idea pleased him, and a secret smile played on his lips.

Goku dusted off his torn and scorched gi. He had defeated Pilaf and his bumbling gang again. The battle left his clothes worse for wear. He turned toward the beaten Shu. "Hey, Shu," Goku asked, "do you have any extra clothes?"

Shu blushed, surprised by the request. "Y-yes, Goku," he stammered. Shu scurried into the wreckage of their plane. He rummaged through a storage compartment. He pulled out a neatly folded suit. It was probably meant for Pilaf.

Goku accepted the suit with a wide grin. "Thanks a lot!" He quickly changed, eager to leave. He wanted to see Upa. He knew the boy waited anxiously.

Goku arrived in the village to find Upa jumping up and down. "Goku! Did you get them? Did you find all the Dragon Balls?" Upa asked.

Goku beamed. "I sure did!" Upa's eyes lit up. "Now we can bring my dad back!" he exclaimed.

"That's right," Goku said. "We just need to get to where your father is buried." Goku picked up Upa. He helped him onto the Flying Nimbus. The golden cloud zoomed into the sky.

As they approached the burial grounds, Goku sensed Upa's fear. The air grew heavy with anticipation. Goku tried to reassure him. "It'll be okay, Upa. I'm here," he said softly.

Goku gently placed Upa on the ground. He carefully set the seven Dragon Balls in a circle. He raised his hand. "Immortal Dragon Shenron, by these Dragon Balls, I summon you! Come forth and grant my wish!" he called out.

The sky turned an ominous shade of purple. Lightning crackled. The Dragon Balls glowed with immense power. They shot into the air, forming a swirling vortex. A colossal dragon emerged. Shenron's eyes flared. His voice boomed. "I have been summoned. Speak your wish!"

Upa trembled. His small body shook with fear. Goku saw the terror in the boy's eyes. "Trust me," Goku said softly. His voice was calm. Goku turned toward the massive dragon. Shenron towered above them, scales shimmering. Goku spoke clearly, "Immortal dragon, hear my wish." He paused. "Revive everyone killed by the Red Ribbon Army." Goku continued, "Which includes the people that were killed by the mercenaries hired by the Red ribbon army."

Shenron's eyes glowed a bright red. The dragon stared at Goku. A deep voice boomed, "Your wish is granted!" Light erupted. Then, Shenron vanished. The dragon balls scattered. Goku reacted instantly. He leaped into the air. He snatched the four-star ball. It was Grandpa Gohan's. He landed gracefully. Upa watched, confused.

The ground near the grave began to shake. Soil shifted. A hand reached out. A man pulled himself from the earth. It was Upa's father, alive. Upa ran to him, tears streaming down his face. "Papa!" he cried.

"What happened?" Upa asked Goku. "Why did you jump? What did you catch?"

Goku held up his hand. A dull, gray stone rested in his palm. "This is a dragon ball," Goku explained. "When the dragon grants a wish, the balls scatter. They turn to stone for a year. This one is special. It's the four-star ball. My grandpa gave it to me."

Upa's father approached. He looked at his son, then at Goku. Goku smiled. "The Red Ribbon Army is gone," he said. "They can't hurt you anymore."

The man's eyes filled with gratitude. "You are a true hero," he said. "You saved our village."

Goku grinned. He summoned the Nimbus cloud. It appeared in a puff of smoke. Upa looked up. "Where are you going, Goku?" he asked.

"I need to see my master," Goku replied. "And my friends. I want to find my next adventure." He paused. "The World Martial Arts Tournament is in three years. If you want to see me again, I'll be there."

Goku hopped onto the Nimbus. The cloud soared into the sky. He waved goodbye. Upa and his father watched him go. The shadow of the Red Ribbon Army was lifted. Hope returned to the land. Goku's journey continued.

Master Roshi should have been there. Baba, Yamcha, Bulma, Oolong, and Puar were also missing. Goku scanned the area. He noticed strange pods near Baba's home. Worry filled him. He flew low, searching for a familiar KI. Danger pulsed in his mind. Three strong KI signals headed toward his friends. Goku feared a surprise attack. He sped toward his friends' location.

He leaped off Nimbus. The yellow cloud vanished. Bulma rushed to him. "Goku, the Dragon Balls?" she asked, eyes wide. "Did you make the wish?"

"I did," Goku confirmed. Relief washed over Bulma's face. Goku turned, sensing a presence. He quickly fired a Ki blast. It soared backward.

A familiar voice chuckled. "That's no way to treat a friend, Kakarot." The voice dripped with amusement. "Especially after such a long trip."

Vegeta stepped into view. His smirk was unmistakable. "Bulma, you're as beautiful as I remember." He paused for effect. "You know me as Prince Vegeta."

Vegeta gestured to the towering figure beside him. "This is your big brother, Kakarot."

Raditz sneered. "His name is Raditz; you may not recall him."

Vegeta pointed to his left. "To my left is my aide, Nappa," Nappa grunted, looking bored.

Vegeta's smirk widened. "I'm here to enjoy Earth." He paused. "We were given a mission." He seemed to almost stumble over his words, "The mission is to join a particular school in a city called Metropolis." He looked confused. "I have no knowledge of such a place." He turned to Goku and Bulma. "I hoped you or Bulma would help me find that place."

A young woman stepped forward. She had short brunette hair. "Actually, I plan to go to that school myself." She smiled shyly. "I've been hired to cook for the school."

Vegeta's eyes lit up. "Great. If you guide us, that would be wonderful." He bowed slightly. "We'll make sure you reach your destination safely. As for your cooking, they are fortunate. I remember the delicious food you prepared."

The brunette, Launch's sister, blushed. She almost seemed to hide behind her long hair.

Goku spoke up. "Actually Vegeta, Bulma, and Leggings plan to study KI." He tapped his chin. "They plan to learn from Master Roshi, but they may need more people." He looked thoughtful. "Maybe you, Raditz, and Nappa could help Bulma and Leggings in their studies?"

Nappa scoffed. "Why should I bother?" He crossed his arms.

Vegeta glared at Nappa. "Because this might give you and Raditz a chance to learn something useful." He turned to Goku. "He may look like an old pervert, but Roshi has lived for over three centuries. He is a master at fighting using KI. What Bulma and Leggings will learn won't be difficult. What you and Raditz gain could be invaluable."

Raditz looked skeptical. "What are you going to do, Vegeta?"

Vegeta shrugged. "More than likely, Kakarot plans to go on a training trip." He smirked. "Since I have a ton of vacation days to use up, I figured I might as well go with him." He stretched. "I have a little over three years' worth of vacation days to spend. Knowing how much of a magnet for trouble he is, I will get some decent training if I go. Raunch you are welcome to join us if you wish."

Master Roshi chatted idly with Yamcha near the cliff's edge. Goku and Vegeta wrapped up their conversation with Raunch. Roshi abruptly announced his teaching days for Goku were done. Adventure and self-improvement were now Goku's only path. Goku nodded, unsurprised, remembering this moment. Vegeta narrowed his eyes at Roshi. "That lying old pervert," he thought. Roshi probably just wanted to ditch strong students. He would rather train the weak bandit Yamcha. Maybe Roshi thought this would get him closer to Bulma. Vegeta figured Roshi hoped to see her in fewer clothes. He knew Bulma planned to use Roshi to study Ki.

This bizarre turn gave Yamcha real training. Before, he only self-taught in combat. Roshi's speech made Vegeta sick. He saw Roshi as a con artist pushing a bad idea. Goku told Raunch she need not train like them. She could use the Flying Nimbus. Roshi, however, demanded Goku walk. He wanted Goku to learn the land naturally. "No tools!" Roshi barked.

Vegeta, to show support, agreed to Roshi's foot travel rule. As they left, Vegeta saw Goku do strange things. Goku hauled large rocks. He made walking harder. "There must be something to this madness," Vegeta thought. The restrictions strained his body more. He recalled the benefits of Zenkai. He might get stronger this way.

Goku made one request of Roshi. He wanted Roshi to teach Ki control. He wanted Krillin and Yamcha to learn. Goku also requested Roshi teach them the buff form.

Raunch found the trip extremely exciting, to say the least. Vegeta and Goku were always doing something to make travel harder. Their antics often resulted in comedic slapstick events. Raunch worried they might not survive some of it. She thought she might get mental trauma if they didn't. They tripped and fell often. It would be hilarious in a much safer setting.

As they traveled, Goku suddenly stopped. He heard a little girl's faint voice. She was asking someone for help. She needed two people gone, two people making life miserable for her village. Vegeta glanced to his left, and saw a tiger man. He knew this encounter would not end well. The tiger man snatched a pouch of money. The little girl thought he would help. Sadly, the tiger man just wanted the money. Vegeta had predicted this.

Raditz kept flirting with Raunch. He tried at every chance he got. Except once, he wisely kept his mouth shut. The little girl asked the tiger man if he'd help her village. He gave a sinister smile. "Yes," he hissed, "I'll help myself by making you my lunch."

Vegeta and Goku jumped into action. Vegeta grabbed the girl, pulling her to safety. Goku, face contorted in fury, punched the bandit's head in. The little girl thanked them over and over. She even offered them her food: two rice balls. Goku stared at the rice balls with hungry eyes. Vegeta simply said, "Go ahead, eat them both."

Goku ate them with gusto. "So tasty," he said after finishing the first, "But why so little food?" The young girl looked sad. Tears welled in her eyes. "Our village has had a drought for years," she explained. "We can't grow much."

"To make it worse, bandits keep terrorizing us." She sobbed quietly. "Each month, we cook a feast. We give almost all our food to them." Nappa frowned. "Why do that?" Vegeta answered for her. "If you're dead, you don't need the food." He figured that was the village elder's thinking.

Goku picked up the young girl. He set her on his head like a hat. She protested lightly that he didn't need to do that, but when Goku smiled at her she kept quiet. "If you help us," she said, "the village will give you the money I had. We'll throw you a big feast as thanks." She then introduced herself as Chaou.

The group introduced themselves. "I'm Goku," said Goku with a smile. Vegeta gave a curt nod and said, "Vegeta." Raditz leered, "And I'm Raditz, the handsome one." Nappa grunted, "Nappa." Chaou then looked at Raunch expectantly.

Raunch smiled kindly. "And I'm Raunch." Chaou asked what sort of school it was that they will be attending. "A fun place," Goku answered. "They teach people with special skills how to protect others. We fight for those who can't fight." He grinned. "In other words, heroes."

As they walked, Chaou spoke of spring. "This path explodes with flowers," she said. "Their scent is like eating clouds." Now, the air was dry. The flowers were gone, thanks to no rain. Her face fell. Goku smiled, "They'll be back. Spring always returns." Vegeta, impatient, cut in. "Enough about flowers! Tell us about these bandits."

Chaou's face darkened. "They are brothers. Terror and Panic." She paused. "They have a strange gourd. They use it to trap people." Raditz frowned. Nappa looked confused. "Trapped how?" he asked. "They turn people into wine," Chaou explained. "The bandits drink it and gain their power."

"That's barbaric!" Nappa roared. Raditz nodded in agreement. "Worse than eating people," he added. Nappa cracked his knuckles, his anger rising. "I'll teach those morons some manners." Goku chuckled. Nappa comforting someone? It was a strange sight.

"They have a ritual," Chaou continued, her voice trembling. "They call it attendance. They shout names from the village." She took a shaky breath. "If you don't answer right, or say your name wrong, the gourd sucks you in." She shuddered. "Then, you become wine."

Suddenly, gunshots echoed in the distance. A machine gun rattled. Chaou gasped. "The village bells!" she cried. "It's the attendance!" She began to run. "We have to hurry! Terror and Panic are there now. People will die if we don't stop them!"

The bizarre duo strutted forward. Their faces were painted like deranged clowns. They resembled biker gangsters from some twisted nightmare. One wore blue paint, shaped like a bat. He sneered. "Who are you? What are your names?" Goku waved dismissively. "Don't bother." He said they weren't from the village. Nobody crying knew them. "We are Terror and Panic, rulers of this region!" Panic declared. She thought introductions were proper. Goku scoffed. It didn't matter to him. They came to fight. "Call me Goku," he said. Panic grinned wickedly. She raised a strange gourd. A thick mist poured from its mouth. Suddenly, Goku vanished. He was sucked inside the gourd. Terror, the brother in red face paint, laughed. He thought they'd turn Goku into wine. Instead, Goku burst from the gourd unharmed. Vegeta roared with laughter. The bandits looked stunned. "That gourd only works on the weak," Vegeta explained. A stronger person could easily escape. Panic recovered quickly. "Strength doesn't matter against bullets!" She pulled out a gun. Rapid fire echoed. Bullets bounced harmlessly off Goku. Vegeta watched with a smirk. "Focus on the gourd," he told Goku. "Divide and conquer." He would handle Panic. Goku could take Terror. Raditz and Nappa stood ready. "What about us?" Raditz asked. "Protect the villagers," Goku ordered. "These two might have hidden friends." Other gangsters could be waiting nearby. The villagers needed to be safe.

The bandits charged. They were quickly stopped. Vegeta saw their bullets as annoying bugs. He didn't even need to power up. The bullets bounced harmlessly off his chest. Goku grinned and pulled out his Power Pole. With swift strikes, he knocked Terror off his feet. The bandit flew back. He landed hard in the dirt.

Panic fared no better. A quick crack to the head, and he was down. The two bandits were quickly subdued. Now, the real fun began. Goku and Vegeta held the Crimson Gourd. Terror and Panic started sweating. They knew what was coming.

Goku smiled. "You like to make others suffer," he said. "Time to taste your own medicine." He placed a hand on the gourd. Vegeta stood beside him, arms crossed. They began calling out names. It was a rapid, random order. "Terror!" Goku shouted. "Panic!" Vegeta yelled.

The bandits panicked. They knew they had to say their names correctly. A mistake meant becoming wine. Terror stammered, "T-Terror!" His voice cracked. Panic yelled, "P-Panick!" He butchered the pronunciation. Both were sucked into the gourd.

The villagers cheered. These two had made their lives hell. Now, they faced their own torment. From inside the gourd, Panic's voice echoed. "Please! A second chance!" he begged. "We've learned our lesson!" He promised a better life. He said everyone would be happy, especially Goku and Vegeta.

Vegeta scoffed. "You gave no chances," he said coldly. "Why should we?" Panic screamed in desperation. "I'm afraid of the dark!" Raditz, who had been watching, couldn't help it. He giggled at Panic's fear. It was a truly pathetic display. The villagers felt a sense of relief. Maybe now they can finally be at peace.

The village elder's eyes, etched with worry, locked onto Chaou. "Who are these brave souls?" he croaked, his voice raspy from years of hardship.

Chaou stepped forward, her voice filled with newfound hope. "They've come to free us. They're here to break Terror and Panic's hold on our lives."

The elder turned to Goku, his gaze searching. "What do you want in return for saving us?"

Goku grinned, scratching the back of his head. "A good meal would be great! We don't need your money."

Raditz, ever practical, interjected. "Money would give us some security."

Chaou frowned, "We promised them money for their help." It felt wrong to deny them what they deserved. "But maybe there's more we can offer. What if Terror and Panic worked for the village? It could make up for all the pain they caused."

A villager stepped forward, his face gaunt. "That fits with our ways. We believe work should match what you eat. Those two have been feasting while we starve. It's time they paid their debt."

The elder stroked his beard, considering. The idea had merit. It would provide justice and free labor to rebuild their broken village. But could they trust Terror and Panic to change?

Goku looked at the crowd, understanding their pain. He'd seen this kind of suffering before. He clenched his fist. "We'll make sure they work. They'll pay for what they did." He glanced at Raditz and nodded, knowing they were in agreement. They had to do what was right.

For two weeks, Raditz and Nappa watched. Terror and Panic toiled endlessly. They planted every crop in the village fields. Tradition dictated their labor. Those who ate the most had to work the hardest. Terror and Panic had eaten more than entire families. They mocked the villagers during feasts. They insulted the food while stuffing themselves. They called the abundant spread meager. Villagers starved while they gorged. Now, they paid the price for their gluttony.

Goku told the village elder he would take them. He smirked. "They will be put to good use." Terror and Panic showed relief. They would not become wine sacrifices. Goku grabbed the gourd. The group departed the village. Chaou waved goodbye happily. Goku blushed, remembering her kiss. She whispered, "I'll see you again."

Nappa questioned Goku's plans. "What will you do with them?" Goku grinned smugly. "They are the first members of my army." He explained the dangers. Threats came from beyond their world. This army would be the first defense. Kami knew they needed help.

Raditz chuckled. He sensed Goku's seriousness. Nappa remained skeptical. "An army of two gluttons?" Goku stopped walking. He turned to Nappa, eyes firm. "Everyone deserves a chance, Nappa. Even them." He looked at Terror and Panic, who shuffled nervously. "They will learn discipline. They will protect this world. Or they will face me."

Terror and Panic looked at each other, fear evident. They knew Goku's power. They understood the alternative. Maybe this was better than becoming wine. Maybe they could actually contribute. Panic mumbled, "We won't let you down, Goku." Terror nodded in agreement, his stomach rumbling.

Goku smiled. "Good. Then let's begin their training." He looked towards the horizon. He could sense approaching threats. He felt the weight of responsibility. He hoped this gamble would pay off. The fate of the world might depend on it.
