Hi everyone,
I'm sorry it's taken a long time for anything to come from me but I've lost the inspiration to write and hardly get the time to do it now.
This is the first chance I've had in a while to do anything other than work or sleep.
I hate having to do this but I won't be finishing this story.
The best I can offer is a summary or where I did plan on taking Ash and May.
I hope you'll enjoy this summary and remember my story fondly.
Basic Trainer
-Ash would face off against Damian (Charizard's original trainer) in the first round of the League.
-Charizard would be offered to chance to prove Damian wrong but declines, he's over it and doesn't thing Damian is worth the effort.
-Lucario is Ash's first Pokemon for the battle, takes down a Machamp and Rhyperior through speed and power as Damian's battle strat is to overpower. -Damian's last Pokemon is Golem and as Lucario hits with Power Up Punch, Golem hangs in with Sturdy. Damian tells Golem to grab Lucario and Self Destruct, he want's to at least take Lucario out of the tournament. Ash runs onto field as explosion dies out, Damian disqualified for dangerous move. Dust clears Lucario is still standing with a flickering protect, collapses and Ash gets to him.
-Ash carries Lucario to Nurse Joy and stays with him until he wakes up.
-Showcases some new Pokemon and Z-Moves during tournament.
-Battles Mike in Final,
-Raging Moltres attacks during battle, Calmed by Ash, bit burnt, other AGs turn up, Riley and Tula
-Battle continues, Ash pulls out a win with a Mega Evolve, Sceptile vs Houndoom.
-May runs onto field as he wins and kiss on TV, Ash confirms feelings
-Ash offered chance to go up against Elite 4
-Declines, wants to travel and train before taking on that kind of challenge
-Two week extra training for May
-Grand Festival
-Drew trounced, flawless victory in first round of battles
-Final Vs Holly, (with some Aura guardian training)
-Mega evolve and Z-Moves in final (poss combo)
-Joint victory party
-Brock and Lucy wedding, Battle Brains, Gym Leaders, Cynthia, Adam, Friends, Elite Four, Lance?

-Due to winning all Leagues Ash gets an invite to a Champions only tournament in Sinnoh

-Legends have been acting up due to toxin build up form Arceus movie
-Toxin bleed through to oldest legends due to strength of connection to Arceus
-Mewtwo affected due to cloning of original Mew DNA
-Attack lasts for a few days
-Ash leads all Aura Guardians/Practitioners to purge toxins
-Passes out for a couple of weeks due to exhaustion
-Tournament rescheduled
-Ash vs Richie in final

(Did have a vague idea of bringing in a scientist that tried to make catching Pokemon easier making robot arm controlled by phone that threw Pokeballs, like Pokemon Go but couldn't figure out how to work that in.)
