BGM: Zora's Fountain - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)

"Yona!" Sidon approached her.

"Sidon! Thank goodness you're okay." Yona smiled as the couple hugged. "It was horrible… the muck was-"

"Making things worse for everyone. I know." Sidon nodded.

"Luckily Weiss and the others arrived just in time." Neptune chuckled.

"That's good." Yona nodded as she noticed Weiss was missing from the group, in fact, Winter was gone too. "Where's Weiss?"

"She had some unfinished business to take care of." Yang said.

With Weiss…

Weiss had put her hands down at the tip of the trunk. "This one's for you, Mipha." She said as the water glowed a soft green as Ruta kept shooting water into the air.

"Ah, putting in Mipha's healing water into the mix?"

"Yes. I figured Zora's Domain could use an extra push." Weiss said, gently patting Ruta. "Wouldn't you agree?"

Ruta let out a soft bellow.

Weiss giggled. "I thought so~"

"Ready to head back?" Winter asked.

"I'm ready." Weiss nodded, activating her dragon wings as she took Winter's hand and flew off toward Sidon and Yona.

"Ah, there they are!" Sidon said as the both of them landed.

"Had to add an extra touch to Ruta. Everything should be fine… I hope." Weiss said.

"So, first order of business… who's Salem?" Sidon asked.

"And secondly, what the heck happened to your arm?!" Neptune asked in surprise, picking up Weiss's arm. "It's so… dead and unnatural! …Not to mention you gotta file those nails, girl. Claws don't suit you!"

"It's not like I had a choice to begin with." Weiss mumbled. "Basically, Kohga asked us to take a look underneath Hyrule Castle, which stored a mummified Salem who was actually responsible for the Calamity and just used Ganondorf's spirit just as one last middle finger. She tore up my arm, summoned an army of Grimm, destroyed the Master Sword, my wife was basically thrown into the past, my life has been hell ever since Salem kept tabs on me, Salem has a pet human scorpion who delights in sadistic pleasure… two Divine Beasts have been slain by her minions… what else do you wanna know?"

"So that's why Ruta's a bit melancholic…" Sidon mused.

"Sooo, what I'm hearing is… this is all Kohga's fault?" Neptune asked.

"Oh come now, Neptune. We shouldn't point fingers at one man." Yona said.

"His gaggle of idiots tried to assassinate Ruby just like what they did with Queen Summer." Weiss said.

"He tried to do the same with Urbosa." Winter added.

Yona sweatdropped. "Nodody's perfect…?" She chuckled awkwardly.

"Regardless, Salem's awake and is terrorizing everyone. Heck, Impa had to de-agify herself so she could help out."

Sidon blinked. "How did you-"

"Purah." Impa responded.

"Ah, say no more."

"Regardless, we have to deal with that sludge monster that was polluting the area." Weiss said. "As much as I want to look into these new shrines, saving the Zora is more important."

"Says the woman who went out of her way to go into a shrine at Death Mountain when they were all high as a Keese?" Yang deadpanned.

Zwei and Revali let out a few soft growls/screeches.

"...You too?" Weiss sweatdropped.

"You made the shrines a priority before you went ahead to save Rito Village, didn't you?" Raven asked.

"No!"

Weiss shifted her eyes to the side.

"...Maybe the ones I just ran into along the way. Look, I'm just trying to get my strength back after it was sapped by the wicked witch of the underground!"

Yang laughed. "I know, we're just teasin'~" She playfully pulled her in and gave her a noogie.

Sidon smiled. "Alright, so first order of business… trying to figure out a way to get to wherever that little guy went."

"If I have to wager a guess, the little guy is probably up in one of those floating sky islands." Weiss said.

"Probably with something to do with one of the giant waterfalls." Neptune said. "Amazingly they're not flooding the place."

"There's one particular waterfall that intrigues me, and it's the biggest one nearby. I have a feeling our little friend might be up there."

"Alright, good to know." Weiss summoned her dragon wings. "Let's go!"

"Hold those wings…" Impa grabbed her wrist. "Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Just because you have a hold of your magic-"

Weiss blushed, turning back to normal. "Right, my bad…"

"Do we have any viable way of going up there?" Winter asked.

"Well, there is a way to swim up there…" Sidon mused as he pulled out some Zora armor.

"Honestly, I could use another one of those. Ruby wore it one day and she came back empty handed." Weiss said. "Apparently an Octorok stole it from her when she was sunbathing."

"An Octorok stealing clothes? That's a new one…" Yang said. "...And a bit frightening."

"Eh, more Octorok meat on the spit fire." Raven shrugged.

Meanwhile, with said Octorok…

A Lizalfos swam through the ocean when he noticed an Octorok wearing Zora Armor over his head. The Lizalfos stopped and looked at him puzzled while the Octorok swam around without a care in the world.

Back with them...

"Well, this is for you then!" Sidon chuckled, handing Weiss the Zora Armor.

"I can go make more. I'm a very good seamstress~!" Yona said as she took off.

"This is going to take a while. So let's go over strategy to-"

"I'm back~!" Yona said as she came back with more Zora Armor. "I even made some for the corgi and bald eagle!"

"-Figure out how the hell she managed to finish really fast." Raven blinked.

"It's her gift!" Sidon said.

"Clearly…"

"Okay, so… we all know what this little guy's capable of." Weiss said. "He can transform into any monster he can change into to try and attack us. Not to mention his muck is… very acidic. I speak from experience."

"So, we just gotta find a way to not let that touch us." Neptune said.

"I can make a water shield to protect us. Would that be enough?" Sidon wondered.

"Probably." Weiss nodded. "We just need to be careful. Last thing we need is for it to melt us."

"And we won't let that happen!" Sidon nodded. "Get dressed everyone, we are going as soon as you are all ready!"

A few minutes later…

"Are you sure you don't need help?" Yona asked Raven with concern. "Your missing arm might slow you down…"

"I appreciate the concern, but it hasn't slowed me down yet." Raven said. "I've also practiced swimming with one arm for five years."

"Oh! Well, in that case, there's no need to worry." Yona smiled as Zwei walked a little weirdly as he was also wearing Zora flippers. He let out a small whine.

"Oh, let me fix that for you." Weiss knelt down and punctured holes in the flippers for his paws to go through.

"Woof!" Zwei barked happily, now walking normally and wagging his tail while Revali tried to fly with his Zora outfit, but landed awkwardly. Winter walked over and tore off part of the suit that was over his wings.

Revali screeched happily, flapping his wings majestically as Winter patted him on the head.

"Alright, is everyone ready?" Sidon asked.

"I feel… stupid." Yang responded, looking at herself.

"You get used to it." Weiss reassured.

"I'm ready to fly up a waterfall~!" Penny smiled.

"I'll stay here and keep an eye on everyone." Yona said.

"Very well." Sidon nodded. "We shall make our return safely!"

Sidon took off with everyone else following him, making their way toward the largest floating waterfall he led them to.

"Here we are!"

"We're gonna make our way up there?" Impa asked.

"Yup!" Sidon immediately sprang into action and swam up the waterfall. "Onwards, friends! We shall follow this beast, slay it and then-"

His voice was quickly disappearing from their ears.

"WHAT?" Yang called out to him.

"And you say I'm bad…" Weiss deadpanned as the sisters proceeded to create glyphs for everyone to jump on as they all started swimming up the waterfall, or in Penny and Revali's case, flew up the waterfall.

They quickly made their way to the top as Weiss casually landed on the ground while Yang looked a bit weirded out.

"...I just swam up a waterfall. Holy shit, I just swam up a waterfall. I JUST-"

Impa shook Yang. "Get a hold of yourself!"

"Bwah! Right, sorry…"

Penny scanned the area. "It seems we have to go through a series of platforms before we can reach our destination…" She said before tilting her head. "That's peculiar."

"What is it?" Weiss asked.

"Apparently, the gravity gets a bit… weird up ahead."

"Define "weird"." Neptune said.

"Weird: adjective; strange-"

"Not the ACTUAL definition!" Neptune exclaimed.

"Ooops, sorry~" Penny giggled. "Anyway, the gravity is a bit lighter than normal up ahead. Meaning you'll be able to float for a few seconds before gently falling to the ground… or miss the platform entirely and fall straight to your death in case gravity goes back to normal."

"Oh, so gravity is taking a vacation in some spots. Great."

"I'm sure it won't be a problem." Weiss said. "...Where's Sidon?"

"Very far up ahead." Penny said.

Weiss sweatdropped. "Again. You say I'm bad."

Winter chuckled. "Well, it doesn't hurt to slow down every once in a while."

With a nod, the group took off, jumping from platform to platform where every once in a while, Weiss used her hand to summon Tulin's spirit to give them a boost of speed in the air.

"Whoooooa!" Raven exclaimed as they had entered a spot where the gravity had indeed gotten a bit funky. "Okay… anyone else feel weird?"

Weiss ran over and jumped over a platform, feeling herself feel lighter than air for a few moments before she gently descended on a platform. "Come on, the gravity's… somewhat fine!"

Everyone else shrugged as they jumped/flew/or crawled in Terrako's case across the platforms while Weiss walked up ahead and spotted a few Constructs that were slowly moving around by the strange gravity.

Weiss got on one knee, pulled out Crescent Rose and aimed carefully, looking through the scope as she pulled the trigger, hitting the construct in the head to knock him out, followed by another bullet that struck the other.

"Woof!" Zwei barked.

"I know. I'm definitely getting better." She said as she walked off with the others where Weiss would occasionally shoot down Nevermores or Griffins as target practice before they would eventually reunite with Sidon who just impaled a Nevermore with his trident.

"Hmm?" Sidon turned his head. "Ah, hello everyone! I'm glad to see that you've made it!"

"You're just as bad as my sister sometimes." Winter said.

Sidon grinned. "Ah, some of us are just more headstrong~"

"That's one way of looking at it…" Raven said.

Sidon turned back to another large waterfall. "I could hear a voice beckoning me to come closer."

"It's probably your ancestor." Weiss said.

"Oh? What makes you say that?"

"Because we've met Tulin and Yunobo's ancestors."

"Fascinating~! Let's not keep my ancestor waiting then!"

"Wait, you believed all that?" Neptune asked. "Come on, she's gotta be pullin' your leg."

"Ahem." Weiss pulled up Rauru's arm and pointed to it.

"...Fair enough."

The group jumped into the waterfall and swam up, breaching over the waterfall and landing on the ground, seeing that they were on a peculiar structure.

"Where are we?" Winter asked.

"Some kind of peculiar place, judging by that large fountain." Sidon said.

"According to my databanks… this is the Water Temple." Penny responded.

"Hmm, I was expecting a Water Temple to be a bit more… underwater." Sidon said. "Ah well, I'm sure it'll be fine!"

BGM: Water Temple (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)

Weiss walked over to the Zonai momument and put her hand on it, but nothing had happened.

"Let me guess, we gotta activate some switches." Weiss said.

"Boop beep!" Terrako booked.

"Four? Yeah, that sounds about right."

"I have a feeling our little friend is in those faucets…" Sidon mused.

"So we flush him out." Neptune said. "Split up?"

"Yeah." Weiss nodded as they turned to the two floating islands accompanying the Water Temple as they ran off in opposite directions.

Weiss immediately laid her eyes on a spinning tower as she walked over toward it and rubbed her chin in curiosity.

She snapped her fingers and pulled out the Purah Pad, immediately using Stasis on it.

She used her glyphs to climb up while the tower continued to blink. She found a switch and threw a fireball into it, hitting the switch as the Stasis deactivated.

With a nod, Weiss dropped down and landed in the water.

Nearby, Penny analyzed a puzzle, noticing an electrical current interrupted by a large gap in-between. Penny would get between and placed her hand on the electrical current.

"Whooooaaaa!"

The metal door opened as Terrako fired a laser to hit the switch. Penny removed herself but was completely overloaded with electricity, causing her to twitch and convulse.

"B-B-Bro… a li-li-little he-he-help? Bzzzzzzzt! Hgrrrrk!"

Terrako quickly crawled up Penny's body, quickly unscrewed her head off and went inside her, quickly firing off electric bolts in the air before crawling out and screwed Penny's head back on, while having a few scorch marks on his body.

"Phew… thanks…" Penny grinned, fist bumping Terrako.

"Boop boop!"

With Winter and the Branwen family, Yang picked up a giant Orb from the water while Raven threw a few Splash Fruits on some muck, cleaning it off and causing a device to fire some water globules.

Yang decided to put it into a globule as it was then carried away toward a platform. The three hopped into another one and let the gravity take them up high. It then popped as they got to their destination where the orb was waiting for them.

Winter noticed a flood gate nearby as she walked over toward it, then looked at the orb that Yang picked up. She stabbed the ground to create an Ice Nevermore as it flew up and grabbed the top of the floodgate. Once Yang put it in, the Nevermore flew up to let the water flow out.

They heard a gate opening up as they went over to investigate it, where Winter shot a torrent of water into it to activate the switch.

"That takes care of that." Yang said.

With the robots, Sidon, Neptune and the animals, they came across a wall of fire that was immediately extinguished by Sidon and Neptune, where the others simply walked through where they would see a switch on the wall and an orb at the far side surrounded by a floor of spikes.

A construct sounded the alarm and rushed toward them, but Terrako dismantled it with a laser. Penny and Revali flew toward the orb as they picked it up together and flew back to the others where Zwei gave it a good kick to try and kick it up into the wall… but it only went a few inches.

"Hmm… try it again, Zwei!" Sidon encouraged as Zwei turned around and gave it a good kick, where Sidon immediately picked it up after he kicked it and placed it into the switch where Penny and Terrako fired lasers to "glue it" in place.

"Good job, boy!" Sidon said, petting him on the head.

"Woof~!" Zwei barked proudly.

Suddenly, the whole temple started to shake.

BGM: Danger (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

Back with Weiss…

Weiss returned to the main entrance of the Water Temple as muck shot out of the main faucet and slammed into the ground where Mucktorok emerged.

"Alright, you little pest…" Weiss brought out Crescent Rose and pumped it. "Let's do this!"

Mucktorok screeched as it proceeded to spit out some muck and jumped in, proceeding to transform into a giant squid with four tentacles forming. It then let out a loud screech as Weiss got in a stance.

BGM: Mucktorok (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)

Mucktorok swung two front tentacles at Weiss but she jumped back, only for her eyes to widen as the muck splashed everywhere and some went for her. She immediately used Nayru's Love to send it back.

She proceeded to fire at the tentacles as the beast proceeded to go in a circle and swing his tentacles to try and trip Weiss up, but she returned fire with a torrent of water to counter it. Mucktorok aimed at Weiss and spat out muck to try and hit her, but Weiss rolled out of the way as a tentacle was swung at her.

Weiss immediately swung Crescent Rose to counter, cutting through the muck tentacle as it flopped to the ground and melted away. Mucktorok snarled and started swinging wildly while also growing another tentacle to replace it.

However, a torrent of water struck the tentacles as Sidon rushed in and then struck the face of the beast, cleaning off his face and leaving his mouth wide open.

"I got it!" Neptune ran up the stunned beast and grabbed his mouth, proceeding to pull it back. Mucktorok tried to swing at Neptune, but Weiss and Sidon sprayed him to get rid of the tentacles.

Mucktorok started to squirm and tried to fight back, but Neptune released the mouth as it snapped back and smacked Mucktorok in the face, causing him to fall on his back and melted back to his base form where everyone shot at him, or wailed into him after Sidon cleared a path.

Mucktorok made more muck as he proceeded to transform into a shark, proceeding to lunge at them but was quickly blown apart by a wave of water as Neptune jumped in and stabbed Mucktorok, electrocution him as it screeched out in pain before kicking him away and then diving into the muck, coming out as a kid with tentacle hair and brought out what looked to be a paintball gun.

Mucktorok ran around and fired at the group as everyone quickly dispersed as Weiss returned fire, weaving her body to avoid the muck being shot at her until Mucktorok formed a triangle-shaped bomb and threw it at Weiss. Her instincts kicked in and rolled out of the way right as the bomb exploded.

Raven snuck up behind Mucktorok and then in the blink of an eye, Raven slashed through him as the squid-human form dissipated as Mucktorok returned to normal, which resulted in Yang sending him flying with a strong uppercut while Winter washed the muck off of Raven's body. Penny flew up and kicked the Mucktorok to the ground where Impa quickly set up a bomb trap and then jumped back right as Mucktorok landed, causing a massive explosion.

Once the smoke settled, Mucktorok stumbled about in a daze as Weiss ran toward him with Sidon and Neptune beside her as they all proceeded to slash through him, cutting him into ribbons as he let out a loud screech before falling limp, disappearing in a puff of smoke.

End BGM

"We did it!" Neptune fist pumped, high fiving Sidon and Weiss as the muck that remained slowly started to fade away.

"Well done, everyone." A voice said as they turned to see a tanned skin Zora approaching them, wearing a checkered vest and a goatee.

"Oh? And who might you be?" Sidon curiously asked.

Definitely his ancestor… Weiss thought.

"I am Theodore, a knight of the Zora's." He said. "And I am-"

"Single~?" Winter spoke up quickly before she started blushing as everyone looked at her. "Ahem… I'm not sure what came over me."

Theodore chuckled. "I do have that charm on me, don't I? Anyway… Sidon… I am your ancestor."

Sidon slowly jawdropped. "Wow… incredible!"

Back in the past…

"Salem must be stopped!" Theodore pounded his hands on the table. "Sonia gave her life to protect you two! Not to mention Ganondorf is dead because of that wretched child."

Rauru nodded and then looked toward the Gerudo. "Glynda, you've been shaking your head for a while."

"I've had concerns about the girl ever since Lord Ganondorf took her in, especially when she started dabbling in necromancy. Not only that, but I felt there was something more sinister to her backstory when we raided her home village. It just didn't add up… I've told Ganondorf and while he appreciated my concerns, he didn't think Salem would be much trouble."

She let out a sigh. "I should've been firmer with him."

"Do not worry, Glynda. We will put a stop to Salem… for the good of Hyrule." Rauru said. "Ozpin, Leo, Theo, Glynda… gather up all you can. We will put an end to this nightmare for good."

"Right." Ozpin nodded as they started to disperse.

"Wait!" Ruby said, getting in front of Rauru. "Even if we do fight Salem, she's still a thorn in our side in my timeline! We're not going to be able to win…"

"Hmm… we have to at least try."

Ruby closed her eyes. "If only I hadn't come… none of this would-"

"Don't blame yourself, Ruby. No one could have predicted you coming to our own time." Rauru reassured. "And even if we fail…"

Rauru put his hand on her shoulder. "We rely on your mage knight and that legendary sword she carries. Our last line of defense will be Weiss."

Ruby's eyes widened as Rauru walked off, leaving Ruby by herself.

"Weiss… I could use your wisdom right about now. I don't even know what to do…"

She closed her eyes.

"Hang in there… I'll find a way to come to you…"

A tear escaped her right eye.

"I love you."
