Chapter 1 – The Return
Alderoth Castle, The Castle of the Demon King Malnova nestled deep in the heart of Demon Territory, once struck an imposing visage, it's sharp black towers piecing the sky, now crumbling under heavy assault. In the surrounding fields Men and Women of all races clash against the horde of demons while the castle behind them rumbles with the sound of combat.
Deep within the castle a battle to decide that fate of the world was occurring. The throne room lie in ruins splashes of blood both red and purple litter the once immaculate tilework, great pillars of obsidian toppled and shattered, chandeliers fallen leaving the room solely illuminated by the blood red moon.
On one side of the Battlefield, The Demon King Malnova, towering at two and half stories tall nearly reaching the roof, his purple skin littered with wounds leaking a sickly purple miasma, His face once rested a cruel smirk now replaced by a permanent scowl filled with rage and his luscious silver locks but a memory leaving behind his three horns, every shred of intelligence and regal grace he once had is gone leaving naught but a cornered beast driven by rage and desire to destroy. On the other side four figures stood defiant despite their wounds, these four, the Heroes Party, champions that have fought their way through the Demon Kings forces to strike him down and save the world.
The first of the four was a young man with a commanding presence, this was Izuku Midoriya, the Goddess's Chosen Hero, summoned from his world to help save this one. Izuku's Plate Armor despite the battle damage was still a brilliant silver with a blue and silver gambeson underneath (2), emerald green eyes shining with defiance from under his helmet. Wielded in his left hand is a silver sword with a triangle cross guard stylised with golden horns (3), this blade glowing with holy light is Sacred Blade given to Izuku by the Goddess to help him in his journey.
To Izukus right was beautiful and well-endowed woman with long platinum blonde hair and pointed golden eyes. This woman, Raya Helcroft, was not a human but one of the Dragonkin race specifically from the Strom Dragon Lineage identified by her four dark silver horns on her head along with her reptilian eyes, wings, tail, claws, talons, and scales. Raya was lightly armoured wearing light shoulder plates, and armoured corset, dragonhide vambraces, and greaves in burnt gold over dark sliver and black leather clothing (3). Her weapon of choice was a large two-handed great sword nearly as big as her, both sides of the blade sharpened to a fine point with golden lighting patterns running along it, many who have seen the blade call it way to big to be a sword and more like a hunk of sharpened steel (5).
To Izukus left was a large man in full massive silvery plate armour with a tabard of maroon and gold mattered with tears and blood, this is Henry Elbram known as The Saint for his kindness and healing magics. In his left-hand Henry held a large tower shield as big as he was and in his right he held a large flanged mace glowing with golden light.
Slightly in the back was a woman with long light green hair tied up in a side tail and green eyes wearing green and brown light leather armour in a very forresty design, her most defining feature however were her long and pointed ears (6). This woman was Sarea Willowmon, third Princess of the Elven Kingdom and the Great Sage. Sarea carried a single edged curved short blade on her hip while in her hands she held a long wooden staff that twisted around a green crystal at its tip.
"GRAAAAAAAAW" a great bellow roared across room as The Great Demon King Malnova lunged forward it's large and inflated arm heading towards Izuku at high speeds.
"HENRY" Izuku called out.
Reacting to the call with a swift nod, Henry leaped forward bringing his tower shield in front of him to shield himself and Izuku
"Divine Reflector" he intoned and with a bright flash of golden light from his shield the giant fist was reflected causing Malnova to stumble backwards.
"SAREA" Izuku called out.
"Got it" Sarea replied "I call upon the great spirits, my ancestors, head my request and bind my enemy SACRED TREE BINDINGS".
As she finished her chant and thrust her staff into the ground greenish golden light burst from the ground around the Demon King. The Light quickly coalesces into the shape of large trees whose branched bend and twine around the beast sealing its movement and causing its flesh to begin to burn on contact.
"RAYA".
"ABOUT TIME" Raya shouted out clear vicious glee in her voice, she lowers her great sword down by her side, the blade glowing and sparking with yellow and black electricity. "REND, DRAGON'S MAW" She roars as she wrenches the blade up in a vertical arc firing off a wave sparking energy that leaves a massive gash in the floor and proceeds to rip open the chest cavity of Malnova exposing a beating heart pulsating with a malevolent purple glow. "Now Izuku, Finish this".
Izuku gathering his power, clenches his Sacred Sword flooding more mana into blade causing it to shine brighter, and with a flicker he disappears reappearing standing on the Demon King feet planted on either side of the gash on its chest, his blade glowing even brighter.
"Demon King Malnova, your tyranny and evil ends here and now, this world shall be free" Izuku states before thrusting his blade clean into the heart piercing straight through flooding the beast with holy energy causing cracks to spread around its body leaking golden light.
"GRAAAAAAAAAH" The Great Demon King roars in pained defiance one last time before it is overwhelmed by the golden light and shatters knocking Izuku off.
Silence permeated the room save for the heavy breathing from the four Heroes… this silence was short lived as they shouted in unison.
"IT'S FINALLY OVER, WE DID IT".
The four rush to each other hugging each other in celebration, Raya bowling Izuku over with a massive glomp, kissing him. The celebrations however a short lived as Izuku's body begins to glow and fade eliciting a gasp from the other three.
"So quick, we only just won and already you have to return" Sarea states not hiding the sadness in her voice.
"Damn" Izuku muttered looking down at his fading body "well it seems it's time", he looks to his friends "Henry, my friend I owe a lot to you, it's thanks to you I have managed to survive in this world"
"It was truly my pleasure Izuku, my friend"
"Sarea, I never would have made it without you my by side… heh… you saved my ass too many times"
"That I did Izuku, that I did" Sarea chuckles with sadness and grief clear in her voice
"Raya… I'm sorry I wish I could stay, but it seems that is not in the cards" Izuku says looking over to Raya who is starting to sob tears running down her face.
"I know Izuku, I know… It's just… I knew this day would come but now that it's here I… Just" Raya cries trying to wipe the tears from her eyes.
Izuku walks over to her and hugs her giving her one final kiss as his body fades into motes of light.
NUMBERED ANNOTATIONS
1. Malnova's pre-battle was based on Aporou from Re;Monster just with purple Skin instead on grey.
2. Izuku is straight up wearing the Grey Warden Plate Armor from Dragon Age just without the Grey Warden Emblem on the chest nor the wings on the helmet.
3. The Sacred Sword is modelled after the Champions Blade from the Fire Emblem Manga, Fire Emblem Hasha no Tsurugi that was in Monthly Jump back in the early 2000's
4. Raya's design is inspired by Karan from Adventurers who don't believe in Humanity and Odahving from the Dovahkoi Skyrim Gijinka that I stumbled upon years ago along with the Dragon from the MGE
5. Raya's Great Sword is inspired by Mervamon's Sword from Digimon
6. Sarea's Design is inspired by Primera Concerto's pre-fall design from the MGE
