Emma had quietly take the drunken Snow out of the park, and decided to rest her on nearby bench on the seaside of the resort.
Her mother resting quietly as Emma tried to reflect on how much or how little had been done to stop the Queen. It now involved the fact that the Queen was going to still marry the Big Bad Wolf, a princess that her mother know more then her.
It felt selfish on her part to not dare question more about happened between them, she seemed happy around Ruby. In a way getting her to think back to the memories she had with Lilly and yet these had there own mixture between happy and sad.
She shake her head of these thoughts
Lilly was far away from her and her..."problems" maybe for a good reason
Given the fact that she found she was this "Savior" figure, without thinking she begin to close her eyes and cross herself. She thought that she would have found someone to be the hero for her...
NOT herself turning to out to be that hero
She don't feel ready and she couldn't realize how she was going to pull off lifting this curse in the first place. She could see from the seaside, the massive park overwhelming her view.
She noticed tourists alongside real ancient temples, tombs and palaces of countless realms and kingdoms
Everything that wasn't real to there eyes was insanely real to hers
She couldn't speak out loud to them that were seeing real dragons along giants
Small fairies were flying the skies all around town
Submarines were actually alongside real mermaids
It looked and sounded crazy to even her
Emma also couldn't tell anyone else that the Norse Trickster god Loki was truly real and had brought back the memories of her mother Snow White!
She would locked up for sure for thinking out aloud that everything she believed could ever be real
Which it was and it still sounded nuts, she felt as on her own with her beliefs then ever before. She don't want to go back to the time when she don't think of this "fairy tale stuff" wasn't but that never happened to her.
She could think that maybe in another timeline it take a different special person to make her believe such stuff. But mean she herself would give up on believing such things and the person was now would be scared of that very thought.
Just giving up wasn't right for her and what she hoped she stood for
Edgewise it was also mean the Queen would win against her
Not that the Queen even know she was around and maybe that also for the best
Suddenly as the fireworks show begin, she saw someone running through the forest near her
Quickly getting up she run to the edge of a lonely street lamp see a huge outline of a massively build creature
The green furred and red eyed creature with sharpened claws come near her, she don't know how to react to such a thing in her life
"STAY BACK!" she yelled toward it as the green creature kept coming close to her
"PRINCESS EMMA..."
Emma looked confused at the creature "Did you just call me princess?"
She turned around to see a black cloaked figure looking toward her mother
"HEY GET AWAY FROM HER!"
Suddenly as she about to run toward the figure she tripped on nearby rock, knocking herself out...
Emma awakened to a spitting painful headache and being handcuffed to one side of a bar of a small jail cell
"Well looks like Sleeping Beauty is awake!" speak up a strong Scottish accent woman in a black police uniform
"Ahaaaa what happened last night?" Emma questioned annoyingly as the Scottish woman laughed feeling she wasn't going to like the answer
"Well from what I could tell you two nuns decided to get a bit drunk last night!
Its bloody amazing that my paperwork is nothing but complaints about two rogue nuns running around my town. Causing fights and now being bloody damn drunk on the beach!"
Emma smirked bitterly even as her head would like go spitting in two "I wasn't drunk...that happened to be my friend! where is she by the way"
The Sheriff looked disappointed even more at her
"Deputy Merida is with your friend right now in the ladies room"
"BOSS! THE LADIES ROOM IS NOW OFF LIMITS TO EVERYONE!"
Snow looked worse for wear given her coming off really drunk, and the stone look of the Sheriff seemed to be not the first time this may have happened to her. Emma noticed that her mother seemed to have some vague history with both the lady sheriff and her deputy, which don't help in the here and now.
The Sheriff spoke directly to Snow "Sister Mary, I am trying not to have myself a heart attack just thinking that you are a bloody menace to this whole town!"
Snow kindly bitterly smirked a bit, she was trying to be respectable toward her even if her head was still hurting "Your right! I am just going through a lot issues just coming back and dragging my fellow nun into the same trouble I have.
Sister Emma should let go though
And I will stay here in jail on my own terms"
The Sheriff looked rather surprised by what Snow was saying to her and she looked to see Sister Emma equally being surprised
"All right, Sister Emma your free to go as your friend stays here for the time being...
Already get enough trouble with just bloody dealing with the Mayor's upcoming wedding plans"
Unlocking the cell, Emma had no choice but to leave her mother but she was at least free now. Walking toward the exit of the police station, she almost run into another uniformed female to see...
"KILLEN!" Emma give a surprised look to see the red headed woman out of her pirate outfit
Killen seemed less surprise to meet the nun again
"I am quite surprised to see you out of jail given that I also arrested you last night!"
Emma don't know what to think at the moment given what she could without her mother by herself. Although Deputy Killen seemed rather nice to her, putting her hand around her shoulder.
"I can't deal with you right now, my best friend is in jail and I don't know where to go..."
Killen looked surprised by this statement of hers "Well your bloody wrong there, just see Mother Superior Blu at St Walt's Monastery.
I can take you right now to see her and have her figure out this little problem of yours"
Emma just nodded "yes" as she and Deputy Killen went to the Monastery...
Meanwhile up in a nearby tree the dark red eyed figure just watched Emma with intenseness in its eyes...
ST WALT'S MOASTERY
Blu looked at Sister Emma with a curious if disappointing stare in her eyes
"Well your quite unexplained given that Olympus never contacted me about your arrival in Storybrooke, or what in the world your doing with such a trouble maker like Mary Margaret...what do you think I can do to help!?"
Emma sit still not knowing her answer as looked at the familiar figure of the Blue Fairy from PINOCCHIO
Now just a blue clothed "normal" person if a fairies could ever be normal at the very least. She and the nuns had the same boy's cut hairstyle that Snow currently had, which made Emma being the noticeable one with her long blond hair really standing out here.
Emma can't tell the Mother Superior that her so called "friend" in jail was in fact her mother, in a way it did throw the Queen off seeing Emma as any sort of "threat". But it put back Snow into the town's unwanted spotlight of hatred that she simply left behind.
The Queen seemed to get a positive response from any of the townspeople, people would smile at her. Cry on her shoulder...
The Sheriff and Deputy would just whole days for wedding planning
And the Mother Superior had her office already staffed with gifts from all of the townsfolk to send to the Mayor thinks to the wedding
Normally she wouldn't mind but the Queen was a far different story. Getting back to the question at hand though, Emma tried to focus on saving her mom from being the town's punching bag and she had one choice then...
"I want Sister Mary to help me because I am trying find my long lost son whose supposed to be in this town!,
she said AAAA that she saw him right here"
Emma welled up in tears as suddenly Killen comforted her, herself surprised by this news
Blu was shocked by Emma's statement much less the fact maybe the troublesome Mary would do some good...
"Okay I'll make the call to have her released and then you can search for your missing son..."
Emma had to think up a name quickly seeing peaking at a wall wisher's card she decided on that guy's name
"HENRY...SWAN, such a beautiful name for a bird...I MEAN A BOY!" Emma cursed herself silently as more tears fall
Blu smiled happily at her "Sister Emma I am glad this boy Henry has such a bright saintly mother trying to found him!"
"...Oh thank you Mother Superior!"
The moment she get into her room and away from both Mother Superior and Deputy Killen
She stopped crying, her taking these long acting classes during stay in Athens was really rather paying off. As a nun of course, she hated to lie to people but Storybrooke was not a normal town for a nun to go into much less the townspeople as well.
She "could" tell the truth and say she don't have a son much less one entering into this type of fairy tale fever dream nightmare!
But then again she was also trying break a curse and reasoning with characters from children's stories all here somehow
Crazy would be the word to use to try get even her childish reasoning from a otherwise grown up young woman like her. Someone would told a lie right to the face of a Mother Superior and she checked to see if her noise don't grow or anything like that.
Outside her window within the large complex a whole group of fairies shot pass her in a beautiful yellow glow
It was a warm night to see into the rather massive town from her view
How in the world the rest of the town can't see what she was clearly seeing
Whole trees nearby was filled with fairies, she was amazed by them as she saw a young couple just walking hand in hand pass them. Not a clue to seeing it, she was smiling at it.
She stopped smiling realizing she need to find out more about this place
Suddenly she heard the distant ringing of a clocktower not that far from her
The Library would be a good place to start to really figure out why even the Queen wanted this town in the first place...
"Princess Emma I can't believe she is even here!.."
"Why must we hide ourselves?, I want to tell her all I know..."
"Sadly no... we can't let the Queen know of us or else she will destroy us and the ones we love..."
"Love I forgot about thinking of even that, I need that again in my life and Princess Emma is still a part of what I feel..."
"She has no idea YOU exist...once again its sad I know. Yet she must break the curse and she hasn't even done that
She could use our hope indeed..."
"But we pretty much scared her nearly to death the last time we saw her..."
"We have no choice now...after all we are still part of the Knights of Queen Snow White
We will honor her by protecting her Princess Emma!"
STORYBROOKE SHERIFF'S STATION
Snow cursed herself silently and angrily again within the lonely jail cell, she hated that she had such strong feelings over Princess Ruby. And how these feelings get her once again into trouble with everyone else including her daughter.
Then again she had to think to herself that Ruby wasn't the same person under this vile curse
But that don't mean the feelings wouldn't the same as they ever were before
Her thoughts had gone into more troubling matters such as the fact that Ruby would be married into the cursed wealth of Mayor Regina, the Queen while she other being a nun had nothing to offer in return even when she was a queen herself.
She turned to see the black haired sheriff with a visitor, she spring up from her bed to see...
"Ruby!" Snow was surprised to noticed the girl who she was just thinking about
Ruby smiled nervously at the sheriff
"Sheriff can you please give me and Mary a second alone"
The Sheriff nodded without looking at the two as she went into a back office of the station
Snow smirked grimly at her, not still understanding her former girlfriend before her or indeed what she wanted
"I am sorry about not letting you know sooner about what Regina had in mind...
I did know though you pull something foolish like getting yourself drunk last night and ending up in jail..."
Snow come close against her between the bars
"Its my fault for thinking too much about you or...us again after all this time"
Ruby give a odd look toward her then bitterly spoke up "...There hasn't been a "US" in quite a long time Mary or have you forgotten the last time we speak together even as a loving couple?"
Snow closed her eyes, she had quite forgotten the moment then before she could answer
"You said to me that no matter how far you traveled and that no matter the time lost between each other that
"You would ALWAYS found me" no matter what...these that still hold true right now?" Ruby questioned
Snow don't give an answer as she grabbed ahold of Ruby's beautiful face through the bars and kissed her roughly as possible
The kiss ended quickly between them, not saying anything
Ruby laughed out loud and smiled widely toward Mary
As she turned to leave Ruby put her hand toward her own lips, seemingly thinking to herself before speaking up to Mary again
"Am going to let the Sheriff release you this morning then we can far talk this over at my place..."
STORYBROOKE LIBRARY
In the mean time Emma had take it upon herself to get as much information on the town as possible
For much like the rest of the areas, the public library was a massive place with a working bell tower at the center
Emma went toward the front desk area, tipping on the bell
Coming out of a backroom, was a very beautiful young woman with spiked red mohawk hair, and a lot of tattoos down her arm. Emma was kind of amazed that any public library would take in a girl looking like a punk rocker.
"Yes can I help you dear Sister?" she said with a oblivious Aussie accent toward Emma
"Umm Yes I am trying to found out some history about this town"
The Aussie Librarian clearly smiled at her and with strangely yet as well but Emma ignored it
The Librarian answered in a disappointing tone though
"Am sorry but there's sadly no history books related to Storybrooke!.."
Emma now looked disappointed until she saw across the desk, a huge pair of maps with old dates near them
"What are these then?"
The Librarian was surprised by the nun going over to the maps "Well these are in fact some mining maps given around 1899 when this place had a giant coal mine but that's been closed since a couple of accidents started to happen..."
To Emma's eyes these were better then a book, looking at it she saw that library sit upon a nearby entry way to the mine
"Were on top of this mine right now, do you know anyone whose gone down there?"
The Librarian seemed a bit shocked by the nun right now
"Yes just me but why do you even want to go to there?
Emma don't give an answer to her but the Librarian don't seemed to want to stop anyways
She opened up a false doorway that lead toward the mines
Both going down, Emma wanted to know more about this place then ever. Using a pair of flashlights they both walked down a huge stone staircase that lead down further into a huge modern looking elevator system
She stepped near it all lights switched on, flooding the room with light as well a small table filled with food
"Is someone living here?" she questioned as the Librarian nodded at her
"...Yes Princess Emma and am sorry for what am going to do"
Emma turn around toward her just be knocked out by the flashlight...
"WHAT THE HELL BELLE..."
"sorry but she was going come upon you and I had no choice but do knock her out.."
"SHE IS THE PRINCESS THOUGH..."
Emma quickly awakened just see into the eyes of a huge green man shaped creature with black hair and rings around huge tusks
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AND WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!?"
The creature don't seemed surprise by her looking shocked at him, or the sudden fact that the Librarian stood near him.
The creature come close to Emma and kissed her hand
"Forgive Belle my dear princess in wanting to protect my hidden nature or both of US scaring you on the beachside that night..."
Emma suddenly looked surprised at the both of them, closing her eyes she suddenly realized it
"You where going toward my mother and you were that green...werewolf!"
The Librarian nodded toward her in a sad way "We may look frightening at night but we both owe Queen Snow White so much of our lives"
Emma shock her head toward them "Who are you really?"
The Librarian bowed toward "I am really Belle but I have taken to faking a cursed identity as Lacy Wolf the new librarian of Storybrooke as for him though..."
She eyed the green creature as he uncovered his black cloak to revel a golden armor that fit his massive muscular look
To Emma he seemed utterly noble in the way he presented himself, almost heroic when looking like a huge monster
"I am in fact a ogre but one whose of a noble birth
When the curse happened not ALL creatures including me ever get the identities that it assigned. Simply put me and Belle never become cursed and we been secretly waiting for you to come to us..."
Emma was trying to figure out what the Ogre was telling just telling
"You already know from the beginning I was a princess though?"
The Ogre happily nodded along with Belle
"It was quite a surprise to see Snow White remembering along with her daughter the Savior we been waiting for.."
Emma don't want to know how they figured that out for now "Well thank you for knowing before I did but aside Belle what do I call you?"
The Ogre again bowed before her answering with wide grin in its face
"I think you would be surprised by much your mother and Princess Ruby used to know me...
I was once known as the Ogre Prince...James
But in this world I am known as
the legendry Prince Charming!"
