"Shadow wake up, you're late for picking Shade up." Stone said softly but worried, making Shadow sit up a bit cobfused and still foggy mentally after sleeping especially after who he'd met in the dream world seeing his chao, Shads sleeping knowing it would be bad to wake him up so activating his wings, flying out of the house startling their neighbours but flew to Green Hills Elementary seeing Shade waiting outside feeling relieved that Toni had waited with her seeing them hug him.

"Thanks for waiting with your sister. Let me guess, Sonic's late." Shadow told Toni seeing her shake her black, blue and red quilled head.

"Nope there's a PTA meeting going on so I felt like waiting and Shade told me about Shads." Toni said.

"Alright, but hope he gets you. or he'll hear from me." Shadow said hugging her.

Toni smirked watching her papa and sister fly off thinking that was awesome, going to the playground for a bit to play while her daddy was in that boring meeting wishing she could've went with them swinging high then jumping off doing a spindash knowing she wasn't supposed to but it was fun when she did it or saw her dad do it hoping Shaxe had a good day seeing her dad come out as the meeting was over surprised she'd been waiting as they headed home but she kept Shads from her daddy for now guessing he'd find out sooner or later but hoped things would be okay.

After going to the comic book store, they got home making TommandcMaddie as they knew this would happen seeing Toni go do homework and guessed he'd been doing stuff and ran into Shadow seeing him reading comics as they knew he was a visual reader as he wasn't good with reading but could follow comics so guessed Shadow or Toni could read to him guessing Shade was doing well.

Shade was doing homework, when Shads came toddling into her room, curious makingvthe female black-brown furred hedgehog male chuckle as the chao pointed making her get it. "This is homework for school, Shads. That's where I've been all day with my sis, Toni. Maybe you'll meet her sometime as I told her about you Pkus making an art project about you in art class." Shade told him making him grin but was drinking a teeny tiny mug of coffee making her concerned.

"I know you like coffee like daddy but too much can be bad, like uncle Stone said." Shade said as Shads belched feeling funny peeing in a plant pit.

"Somebody had the coffee poops or had to pee after all that coffee." Shade told her dad as Shadow smirked cleaning up as they were going to Sonic's well Tom and Maddie's house for a cookout making making Shade excited deciding to bring Shads making Shadow and Stone agree. When they got there, she went upstairs to her sister's room with Shads hearing her squee because he was cure making Shads shyly smile at her asking Shade how Shadow got him.

"He said the chao garden gave him an egg. It hatched into Shads. We should ask daddy, if you can have one." Shade told her making Toni excited at this because maybe her dad would let her have one. They then were following Shads to the chao garden…
