"Uh-oh it must be bathtime, if papa's yelling. He really thinks he doesn't need baths." Shade muttered.
"If I have to take baths even though I don't want them, you have to too. I8: not the one covered in mud." she heard him say.
She realised it wasn't him taking or being forced to take a bath, it was Chao Shadow and was covered in mud remembering he'd had a play date with his Chao friend, and guessed he'd had gotten dirty from whatever he'd been doing but proud of her papa even though he hated baths too not getting why. She liked them as they were relaxing Pkus they could lay in them making Stone agree with her getting tiny Starbucks to go cups making her understand his idea.
"Papa, Shads can I come in." Shaxe said making Shadow nod making Shads curious seeing the cups which was getting his attention and Shadow got what she was up to. "What if we pretend this isn't a bath but Starbucks and papa's a barista." Shaxe told the male chao getting in impressing Shadow playing along giving him a bath and afterwards he felt better, making Shadow relieved as he cared about Shads and didn't want him to be stinky as that wouldn't be okay.
"Better." Shads told him making Shadow smirk.
"What did he say." Shade asked him.
"He says he feels better after the bath." Shadow said. Shade was happy about this, wanting to learn Chao so she could understand what Shads was saying like her papa making Shadow grin nodding.
"So, Shade got Shads to take a bath. Tom and Maddie should do that for my dad. Like papa, he doesn't want to take baths which is weird because they make us do it. Shads is happy laying with Chilli and not getting dirty. Daddy made Chilli take a bath too." Shade heard Toni say. It was recess and both hedgehog cubs were on the swings talking and having fun kus Shaxe wanted to try something, after seeing Sonic and Toni do a spindash but maybe a flying one.
"I think that's cool. Besides the other kids aren't watching right now." Toni told her as Shaxe did it but looked cool despite skinning her knee making her bite her lip making Toni run to her at normal speed not her actual super speed hugging her hearing her cry which Sonic encouraged in them.
She realised it had worked heading to class.
