That Saturday, Maddie and Audrey had gone to the club.
"Man, this place is amazing, I've never been to a club like this before," said Maddie as the two took a seat in a corner booth.
"It sure is," said Audrey.
"Hey, do you want a drink?" she asked.
"Sure, and make it a surprise," said Maddie. Audrey then walked over to the bar which Maddie was able to see from where she was sitting.
"Hey, beautiful," said a man who approached Maddie.
"Not interested," said Maddie without even looking at the guy.
"Ah come on, I…," said the guy before getting cut off.
"I believe my girlfriend told you she's not interested so why don't you get lost, loser?" asked Audrey who returned with drinks.
"Oh, so you're like that," said the man before leaving.
"So, we're already girlfriends?" asked Maddie as Audrey sat down next to her.
"Sorry if I overstepped, just wanted to get rid of that guy and figured that calling you my girlfriend would get the point across faster," said Audrey with a flushed expression.
"Given I'd like a second date, I don't think it's an overstep," said Maddie as she took a sip of her drink.
"Really?" asked Audrey.
"Yeah, and I have a question for you," said Maddie.
"What is it?" asked Audrey.
"Am I the first person you have dated?" asked Maddie which made Audrey choke on her drink a little.
"Was… was I really that obvious?" asked Audrey after calming down.
"I just had a feeling," said Maddie.
"Honestly, I have never really thought anything about anyone till I met you," said Audrey who was nervous.
"I mean I knew I liked other women but that's it, I never found myself having any interest in anyone until I met you and it was like a fire was set alight in my heart," she said, her face getting redder by the second.
"You're really cute when you're nervous," said Maddie with a chuckle.
