Cell vs Jackson (The Witch's Core)
In the middle of an ominous and rather empty part of the woods, Cell and Kermit were camping and sitting at a campfire made by Cell and Kermit respectively.
"Kermit, explain to me why we're camping," Cell said, looking over at Kermit.
"We're camping only because it's late," Kermit replied. "I have called you here to help with a personal mission of mine."
Cell raised an eyebrow. "Go on…"
"We're looking for a town called Lonmoure," Kermit explained. "This town is deep in these woods, far from civilization. And we're looking for the protector of this town, a guardian spirit and a witch, capable of many deeds."
Cell looked at Kermit, confused. "...and why are we looking for this guardian spirit?"
"Because she's a total babe," Kermit answered. "I'd show you a photo, but I'm going off of rumors, so I can't."
"Do you even know her name?" Cell asked Kermit now. Seeing Kermit get sheepish, Cell glared at Kermit. "Kermit…"
"I admittingly don't remember," Kermit answered truthfully. "I may or may not have gotten this information off of a severely traumatized guy in a suit who was bleeding out. He said something about moths though."
"Great, so we're looking for some chick who we don't even know if she exists!" Cell shouted. "Are you fucking kidding me Kermit?!"
"Look, I'm bored!" Kermit replied. "And I thought it'd be a fun trip!"
"You have poor taste in trip ideas," a man with a low, raspy voice said, sitting across from Cell and Kermit.
"Agreed," Cell said. Cell and Kermit both then paused and turned to look at the man who had shown up.
The man came off as unsettling with grey skin, with black fang-like teeth growing out of his cheeks. He has messy shoulder-length brown hair, which slightly hid his gouged out eyes and the black liquid that flowed from the eye sockets of his person. He wore a blueish-grey jacket, one that was reminiscent of a doctor, or scientist. He wore black gloves that went up his arms and to his biceps, though the gloves did not hide his sharp nails. Underneath his jacket, he wore grey pants, but the length of them was unknown due to the thigh high black boots he wore.
"Oh my fucking god!" Cell shouted, scrambled back from the log he sat on at the sight of the man. "Who the fuck are you?!" Cell, panicked, looked at Kermit. "Kermit, who the fuck is that?!"
"I got no fucking clue!" An equally panicked Kermit shouted, before looking back at the man.
"I'm Jackson," Jackson said as he stood up, standing nearly at 7 feet tall, being only a few inches short.
"Not only is he jacked, but he's tall!" Cell shouted, alarmed.
"Well, using the power of the internet, I shall identify who you are!" Kermit proclaimed, pointing at Jackson, before snapping a photo of him and trying to do a Google search.
"That shit is not going to work," Cell told Kermit bluntly.
"Sure it will," Kermit replied as he looked at the photo. "...Uh…" Kermit looked at Cell. "I uh… I got nothing."
Cell raised an eyebrow. "Nothing? Not even the Fandom Wiki?"
"Nope," Kermit replied. The two turned back to look at Jackson, who was idly watching them silently.
As the silence dragged on, Cell eventually said, "So uh… you're not here to kill us for no reason, right?"
"Depends insectoid," Jackson began. "Why can I smell that you're partially human?"
Cell and Kermit tensed up, though Cell's guard was up. "I'm a bio experiment of Earth's strongest warriors, as well as some other strong warriors from outer space."
Jackson raised an eyebrow. "Hmm…" Jackson tilted his head to look at Cell despite his lack of eyes. "...do you have kidneys?"
"I…" Cell blinked. "...yes?"
"Hmm. Wonder what they'll taste like," Jackson remarked ominously.
"...Kermit, we're fucking running!" Cell shouted, before turning around and running, with the Muppet in tow as the two ran from Jackson, who merely listened to them as they ran off.
Jackson hummed as he heard Cell and Kermit run. "...they'll need the head start," Jackson said to himself as he crossed his arms, before suddenly slipping into the shadows.
As Cell and Kermit ran, Cell turned back and saw they were not being pursued. "I think we lost him!" Cell said.
"You just had to jinx it," Kermit replied, catching his breath with his hands on his knees.
"And what's that supposed to mean?!" Cell shouted.
"Yo," Jackson said from in front of the two.
"Shit!" Cell shouted, before raising his hands and attempting to fire a Ki Blast. However, the shadows of the forest suddenly morphed and redirected Cell's blast into the sky once it grabbed his arm, before trapping both Cell and Kermit, binding their arms and legs.
"FUCK!" Kermit shouted. "I did not want to die like this!"
"Goddamnit, why the hell are these shadows so strong?!" Cell likewise shouted as he struggled against the shadows bending his body.
Jackson watched the two struggle for a moment, though as he was blind, it was more or less just listen. In any case, he eventually walked up to Cell. "You people are loud."
"I think anyone would be, because YOU'RE FUCKING CREEPY!" Cell shouted at Jackson. Jackson seemed a bit agitated by that, and the shadows coating Cell's body went to his face and muffled him.
"I don't need your kidneys… but I'm definitely doing it now to spite you," Jackson said as he picked up Cell, holding him above his head, before slamming his back against his knee, breaking Cell's back. Cell's cries of pain were muffled, especially as Jackson lifted Cell's body up and bit down, completely biting off a large portion of abdomen area and managing to get to Cell's kidney.
"Oh my god, you monster!" Kermit said to Jackson. "How could you do such a thing?! He's only 6 years old!"
Jackson glanced at Kermit, still munching on Cell's kidney. Upon finishing the large bite he took out of Cell, he said, "And yet he acts like an adult."
"I… uh…" Kermit grew sheepish again as he realized this man was truly a monster. "Well Cell, it was nice knowing you!" Cell shouted angrily at Kermit, though it was all muffled by the muzzle of shadows around his mouth.
"Hmm," Jackson hummed in response, before bringing one of his hands to the area of which he had bit down on Cell's torso to rip out his other kidney. He was confused by the fact the skin had returned to the area he bit down upon. "What?"
"He can regenerate," Kermit explained.
Jackson seemed… a bit pleased by this information. "So… infinite kidneys…"
"Who in the huh and the what?" Kermit questioned. "Why are you obsessed with kidneys?!"
"None of your concern," Jackson replied, before biting Cell again and ripping out his kidney, causing Cell to cry in pain as he literally became food for this man of unknown origin.
Meanwhile, in the town of Lonmoure…
"The fuck are we doing here?" Young Xehanort questioned, looking over at Evil as they were in the town square. "Seriously, what even is this place?"
"A town with a history of witches and wizards from what I've gathered by reading the minds of the innocents here," Evil said, dressed in a black robe with a green snake crest on the front as a small badge.
Xehanort raised an eyebrow at the very obvious Harry Potter reference. "And just like that, I think you stereotype a lot."
"What do you mean?" Evil asked curiously, crossing his arms.
"Not all witches and wizards are from Harry Potter," Xehanort said. "Hell, I think some people would find that rude."
"It can't be that bad," Evil said with a huff. "Besides, the magic is real." Evil then pulled out a white wand. "Watch this."
Xehanort shook his head. "I don't think I-"
"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Evil shouted, striking a rat with the Killing Curse, killing it dead with a flash of green light.
"Jesus Christ!" Xehanort shouted, surprised and alarmed by Evil instantly taking things from 0 to 100 instantly. "What the hell?!"
"What, it was just a rat," Evil said, before the two then watched several moths appear and start tearing the deceased rat apart, making them both pause and watch in astonishment until there was nothing left of the rat.
"What in the world…" Xehanort muttered, before the two watched the moths fly over to a woman who was standing nearby.
The woman was pale to say the least, but her skin was covered not only in moon markings, but black marks that covered her hands and feet, going up to her elbows and knees respectively, the blackened veins even being visible. Her shoulders and black eyes that had white pupils also had the black markings as well, though her right eye socket was covered by her light blue hair.
Her hair was long, going all the way down to her thighs, but notably changing from light blue to a dark grey once it got past her waist. The woman wore a long, brown waist cloth that was held by bandages at her waist, it exposed her whole right leg, and was tattered at the ends. Her top was the same color but it only covered the right side of her chest with a black crop top underneath it.
Underneath the waist cloth, there were bandages that were wrapped loosely around her legs and there were some even wrapping around her right arm and her feet.
Evil and Xehanort both stared intently at the obviously not human woman. "So um…" Xehanort began, "...you are?"
"I am the protector of this town," the woman said gently. "My name is Kasei." The identified Kasei looked over at Evil. "In the future, I ask you to refrain from using that magic in my village. I will kill you if you hurt anyone." It wasn't a threat. It was a guarantee, and even Evil understood that.
"Alright, alright," Evil said, crossing his arms as the robe and wand he had disappeared, being replaced by his regular outfit.
Xehanort was surprised. "You can just change outfits?"
"Yeah," Evil said. "Anyone in Dragon Ball can simply change their clothes. It's called Clothes Beam."
Xehanort and even Kasei were confused with that explanation. As Kasei tilted her head, she said, "But you never fired a beam at yourself."
"I-" Evil was cut off as he paused, realizing the truth in that. "...sorry, I'm still trying to remember each and every power of mine. It's hard when you have that many."
Kasei merely hummed. "Whatever," she said, not caring about Evil's powers. "Don't hurt my village."
Evil hummed. "Alright. What's a ruler without people to rule?"
Kasei was silent as she stared at Evil. After a moment, her eyes narrowed. "And that means?"
"He rules the world," Xehanort answered. "Or that's what he declares since no one has opposed it."
Kasei looked at Evil intently for a moment, before her glare relaxed. "...just don't hurt my people."
"Alright?" Evil replied, confused. Kasei seemed to accept that answer. Suddenly, Kasei's eyes glowed yet also became distant, and she closed her eyes. She leaned backwards, before falling to the ground and submerging in a black ink-like goo, catching Evil and Xehanort off guard as she disappeared instantly. Evil and Xehanort shared a glance, before Evil said, "Yeah… not gonna mess with her people. We're leaving."
Xehanort was surprised at how easily Evil just decided to leave, but before he could say anything, Evil already began walking towards the road that led directly out of the forest and out of Lonmoure. Xehanort blinked, before asking himself, "Why do I follow him?" Xehanort also wasted no time in following Evil, not wanting to be left in this town of unknown horrors.
Before anyone asks because I know people will be confused, this is a collab chapter! Kasei and Jackson are actually both OCs owned by one of my friends, with Kasei being both an OC and online persona. Some of you who read my other stories might remember I collabed with her in the one-shot "A Dance of Sun and Moon". Either that or this is new information to all of you.
Admittingly, I just wanted to collab for the hell of it. It's fun doing stupid shit after all, and whether or not this leads up to anything is unknown.
…okay, it might. But that's for later. Enjoy the wait!
