Sirius and Remus had done the honors of searching through Rumlow's mind. They had also filled him full of Veritiserum and let the others ask questions about Hydra and the Winter Soldier. With all of the information they had, they knew who could now be trusted within SHIELD and just who was Hydra.
Avery couldn't help but laugh when one name was brought up, "I knew that piece of shit was dirty but Hydra?! Oh, let me be the one to take him out."
Tony smirked, "Your ability to hold a grudge is top tier, wife."
Clint looked confused, "You have history with Stern?"
"Oh yeah, he's the one who set up the whole scheme to take Tony's suit." Avery explained.
Steve asked, "Should we bring Fury into this? I know he's one who does things his own way, but we could really use some more people on our side."
"We could always make it to where he has to follow the group and not try to do side quests." Remus spoke up.
Tony snickered, "Side quests? You need to stop watching Sirius play video games."
"We have a few people who are willing to help too, I'll contact them." Avery motioned for her godfathers to follow and all three left the room.
Loki had been surprised to be included, he'd been surprised when he had been let out of his cell, but offered to help too. "If they have warped your friend's memory, he will need help to get things right." He seen Steve's shoulders sag. "I could help, I'm sure Avery would as well."
Tony nodded, "Yeah, she and some others could help. She actually has a friend that will probably be coming, she's good with that stuff."
Steve thanked them both, "I appreciate the offers. I just can't believe Bucky's been alive this whole time. With what Hydra's done, I'm worried for him."

Fury had been pissed when he found out what they had found. He knew the woman, Avery, wasn't playing when she told him he could work with them or be made to forget. Of course he offered to help, he also let slip what had been done with Coulson. He feared she was going to murder him when he said it.
They now had a plan for Hydra and only needed to wait for the help Avery had sent for. The agent's they knew could be trusted were in place and waiting for their word.
Steve could feel himself preparing for battle. He wasn't naive enough to think there wouldn't be a fight, these people were monsters who needed to be put down.
Thor had been jovial when he returned with the news that the All-Father had given Loki a pardon. Of course, there were stipulations, but Loki was already offering to help, he didn't need to do it because their father wanted him too. He also planned to help when the time came to deal with the stones.

They were all sitting in the living room, it had been repaired with magic, so it was back to normal. When green flames began to spark in the fireplace, those not in the know went on guard. Avery, Tony, Remus and Sirius all stood to greet their guests.
Avery squealed when a pixie like blond came out of the flames. Rushing forward, she pulled Luna into a hug. "Oh Luna! I've missed you!"
Luna smiled dreamily, "I knew I would be needed so I headed home to wait." She had been on a trip to search for Nargle nests.
The two stopped talking with the flames grew again, seeing the twins walk out, Tony moved forward to greet them. Thankfully, Fred and George had been to the tower multiple times so this wasn't anything new for them. Tony was married to their little sister, so he was family.
The girls moved to greet them before they were pulled to the side by Sirius and Remus. The plotting had begun.
Seeing the flames grow once more, Avery moved to greet the last guest. She hadn't been sure if he would show but knew they could use his help. After the war, she and Draco had grown close, nothing romantic but more of a sibling relationship. The fact that his mother had saved her life, she felt that she owed them the chance.
"Hey," he greeted her with a quick hug, greeting Tony with a handshake. "So, what exactly have you gotten yourself into this time, Potter?"
She glared at the name but quickly gave her friends the rundown. Once everyone was on the same page, they went over the plan again.

Retrieving the Winter Soldier had been an utter shit show. It seemed they had been planning to use him to go after a political competition of Sterns and that was the only reason they had found him. Avery and Steve had gone to speak with the politician, handing over the evidence needed to prove Stern was a dirty politician, when the attack happened.
Avery had barely saved the man they had been talking to and Steve had to fight his best friend. Once she had made sure the politician was safe, she went to knock out Bucky, but her magic seemed to fall off him. Knowing she'd need to put more power into her spell, she had barely gotten him down before he broke Steve's face. She was going to have a chat with the Captain because he had refused to fight back.
She made sure to alter the politicians mind before apperating Bucky back to the tower. They would need to begin on him as soon as possible. Luna and Loki were ready to start when they appeared.

While they had been doing that, the others had stormed into the SHIELD headquarters and took control. Luckily, Fury still had access, and they were able to take down Pierce, Sitwell, and the lower agents. Those who knew ahead of time had helped them get through the building unseen.
For anyone they were unsure about, they were made to drink Veritiserum before being released. They knew they would need to hit the Hydra bases, but no one would be able to speak about the take down within SHIELD, they had made sure of that.

While Luna and Loki worked on Bucky, everyone else hopped onto a jet and went to the bases. What had been a huge surprise was when they had come across one base, it wasn't just Hydra but also the Red Room. Natasha had been particularly vicious when she took down the man running it. It seemed that Hydra would take the Winter Soldier there to 'train' the girls on occasion.
They made sure not one piece of Hydra was left to reform. Steve had been shocked when they went to where SHIELD began, and they found a computer that had once been Arnim Zola. He had taken great pleasure in destroying it.
Once all the bases were gone, they headed back to the tower. They had finished one part of their task but still had to deal with the stones. Steve wanted to check on his friend too.

Two witches, four wizards, and one Norse God stared at the two infinity stones they held in their possession. They had been passing ideas back and forth when the answer finally came to them.
"We destroy them."
Loki gaped, "And how do you plan to do that? We only have two of the six in our possession."
"We need to link them magically and then once we destroy one, they all go." Remus replied. The others nodded.
"Do you think that will work?" Loki asked.
"It should. They are all linked in a way, and we can use that to our advantage." Avery said.
"Okay, so you will link them and then destroy them. Thanos won't even know, he'll keep searching for them." Loki could see the merits of the plan.
"Exactly. He could search for years and never even realize they were gone." Fred smirked. George smirked back, "Oh to see his face when he did though." The laughed.
Grimacing, Loki replied, "His face is bad enough as it is." Seeing the others curious look, he used his magic to project an image.
Avery choked before laughing hysterically, the others didn't hold up much better. "Oh Merlin, he's got a ball sack for a chin!"
"He looks like a raisin." Luna snickered.

Tony watched the witches and wizards carefully, he knew this was dangerous but also knew he couldn't stop his wife. Avery had told him she had a saving people thing, it seems she never lost it. He could only hope when this was all done, they could live their lives.
She could sense his eyes on her, looking up, she smiled before looking back to the stones. They had come up with a spell that would link the stones, Loki was going to add his power to theirs since they were scattered across the universe. They were just finishing up the last touches before casting.
After they completed this, she knew they could live in peace. She really hoped this worked too, she didn't want to fear what could happen next if not. Avery had asked Luna how everything with Bucky had gone, she and Loki had been able to rework his mind and now he was in a magical sleep to let him recoup and let his memories settle.
Seeing the others move back, she knew it was time to begin. They were in an open field, no one around for miles. No one wanted to chance doing this inside. The team was standing with Tony behind a magical shield, all watching closely.
With both the tesseract and staff in the center, all seven connected hands and began to chant.

Tony's eyes were locked on Avery, he prayed with everything he had that this worked, and she came out unscathed. He knew she wouldn't do it if not but he still worried, she was his world. As they began to chant, he could feel as magic began to swirl around them. The others eyes were now glued to those chanting, everyone holding their breath.
When the staff and tesseract began to float, the chanting picked up. When a light shot from one to the other, connecting them, they began to glow. Tony watched as beams of light shot into different directions, even heading towards space, connecting all of the stones. He noticed when the chanting changed and braced himself.
Avery could feel the stones trying to fight but their connected magic seemed to be winning. Their chanting picked up and they watched as the tesseract began to crack. This was what they had been hoping for, one of these two to be destroyed and take all the others with it.
Finally, the tesseract exploded, the staff following, they continued until all the beams of light went out. When the last light disappeared, they all collapsed.
Tony rushed forward, the shield no longer holding them back and ran for his wife. He knelt beside her, pulling her into his lap. "Hey, Avery, hey," he tapped her cheek, feeling his heart beat again when her eyes sleepily opened. "There we go, hey honey."
Sleepily, she smiled at him, "We did it, they're gone." Her head lolled to the side and she passed out.
Tony stood with her in his arms and moved towards the jet. "We're going to have to carry them, they used all of their energy."
The others moved forward and began to lift those passed out and carry them to the jet.

3 Months Later
"Tony!" Avery had barely gotten his name out before her head was back in the toilet. Feeling as her hair was pulled away from her face, she knew he had heard her. Morning sickness was a bitch when one was out of potions.
"Remus should be back any time with your potion." He slowly rubbed circles on her back while she heaved again. They had found out a month ago that Avery was pregnant, and she had only recently begun to have morning sickness. He hoped for her sake it didn't last for the next six months.
Hearing their bedroom door open, he sighed as Remus and Sirius came rushing in. "I'm sorry, they were just bottling them when I got there." He quickly handed over the potion to Tony.
"Here, take this and then you can crawl back in bed for a bit." He knew she wouldn't want to eat yet.
Avery sighed in relief when the potion hit her stomach. She really hated to throw up. Letting Tony settle her back in bed, she felt herself doze back off as they left the room.
Tony sighed into his coffee cup, he hated this but knew they would be happy when the end came. He could admit he was a little worried about being a dad but knew Avery had all the faith in him. It helped that Luna had taken to staying at the tower, she seemed to click with Loki who had become a permanent occupant.

6 Months Later
Avery smiled down at the little boy in her arms, Tony had them both wrapped in his and kissed the top of her head. "He's perfect." She whispered, not wanting to wake him.
Tony nodded, "He's the best of the both of us." Every fear he had of being a bad father went out the window when his little boy had been placed in his arms.
A soft knock on the door let them know their guests were there, they smiled to everyone as they entered. Sirius and Remus had already seen him, but their friends hadn't.
"He's precious." Luna smiled down at the dark-haired boy before moving back to Loki.
"Is he supposed to be that tiny?" Thor asked, trying to whisper but failing.
"He's fresh, so yes." Natasha laughed. "He's pretty cute for being Starks kid."

After everyone left and the little family was alone, Tony kissed his wife. "You were the best thing to ever happen to me and now we have this amazing little boy. Maybe we can give him some siblings."
"Listen here, I'm done for a couple years unless you're offering to carry it and push it out. Let's just enjoy this one and let me recover." Avery laughed before looking up to her husband. "I love you Tony, you've made my life amazing."
"You're the one who's made my life amazing. I love you, Avery."
